Breathtaking and outstanding natural place to go out to and 100% It will fancy anyone come to it. The geomorphology of the wilaya distinguished the Tidikelt plateau in the North, covered with sand and very harsh climate and the Hoggar (Ahaggar) in the South, mountain range where the temperatures are milder. The wilaya is home to the highest peak in Algeria, Mount Tahat at 3,003 m above sea level located in the Hoggar mountain range. Crossed by the Tropic of Cancer 80 km north of Tamanrasset. The Atakor platform, where the lava fields occupy a large place, where the altitude is everywhere above 2,000 m. The most famous being Assekrem, 80 km from the city, accessible by track. A true stone desert, the Hoggar is essentially made up of volcanic rocks. Erosion has shaped an astonishing landscape with sharp peaks. Because of a less extreme climate than the rest of the Sahara. Also, The Oasis of Abalessa and the tomb of Tin Hinan. The immensity of these expanses of stones, the staggering beauty of this volcanic relief, with its scree of basalt and porphyry, invite you to contemplate. The high altitude desert then shows the whole palette of its ochres, shadows, browns and light.

Algeria's Ahaggar National Park covers an area of approximately 450,000 square kilometers in the Saharan Algeria Region in the extreme south of the country. The closest populated area near the park, which lies in a desert mountainous zone, is the oasis city of Tamanrasset. The Ahaggar Mountains, also known as the Hoggar, dominate the park, with the highest peak being Mount Tahat, measuring 3,003 meters above sea level. The Ahaggar Mountain range consists mainly of jagged volcanic rock, and rainfall in the area is sporadic. Nevertheless, the biodiversity in the area is excellent, with a number of animal species that have died off in other parts of the Sahara still being found in the Ahaggar National Park. This is thought to be due to the fact that the climate in the park is less extreme than that experienced in most other areas of the Sahara. The park forms part of the West Saharan montane xeric woodlands – an ecoregion of isolated refuges where plants and animals survive the otherwise harsh conditions of the Saharan desert. This ecoregion extends across the Tassili-n-Ajjer, Ahaggar and Air massifs in. من اجمل الاماكن الخلابه التي زرتها في الشقيقه الجزائر
