No matter how pretty it looks, a cage is still a cage. Stop encouraging this kinda thing. Those wild animals deserve roaming in the wilderness, not inside the cages while the humans can ogling at them as they like. You are not animal lovers, you are collectors. They are two different things.

so far so good, the distance from Makassar city is around 30 - 45 minutes (if there's no traffic jam), the place is cool, the animal species are not bad, the entrance ticket is pocket friendly (adults 35 thousand, children 25 thousand), there's a canteen too, just enough Info: You can't bring food and drinks from outside...

Ostrich, sparrow, peacock, parrot, macaw are some of the list There is no ticket booth when we get there, but we pay directly to this safari guy (maybe he's in charge of ticketing)

i think this is the only place at South Sulawesi to see many kind of birds,,bears,monkeys,anoa,deers,they even had a crocodile,,the good thing is the animals looks health,,this place suitable for school trip,,and family trip.they also have a tour guide 😃

Small zoo with differents spécies like perrots , monkey....and spécies i have never seen...in a beautiful areas in the middle of végétation and traditionnal houses ! Small but beautiful and clean.Good price !

There's no drinking area...for visitors. Just a little inside, let's get a glass of Aqua... basically you have to buy it inside. This is a star garden selling food and drinks

Zoo is always been a good place to visit for kids to learn about animal. This small zoo has a variety of birds and mammals. Birds from ostrich, parrot, macau, dove, to cassowary. Mammals from bear, monkeys, anoa, deer, to asian kangooroo. Unfortunately Those wild animals are living in small small small cages just made my heart aches. When i saw the monkeys striked in hunger, they were busy eating small tree branches and small ants from the floor, just because they are very hungry! Please feed them well since their freedom have been taken away from them. At least give them proper feed. It breaks my heart seeing them 💔

Very good. You can't explore everything if it's only 1 hour because it's so vast.
