Great airport! There’s so many things to like about this airport. I was extremely surprised at how quick we are able to get through security here. There wasn’t a big line and custom was very easy to get through from my experience. After that it’s great to get going from here. Remember that there’s air-conditioning in here so you might wanna bring a sweatshirt. It is really easy to get into. The lines to get checked and may be a touch difficult. There are restrooms available all over the place. There’s plenty of seating for you. There’s not much room to walk around here but most people aren’t doing that. There are a handful of places that you can grab some food.

Ugly, hot. aduanal agents charge you over stay...they are very unprofessional. I do not recommend going to that country. Food is scarce and of bad taste.Haitians are more educated. And treat you better.

We flew in to have an aircraft painted we were greeted at the plane by friendly people who walked us right into customs and immigration. Everyone was friendly and some spoke English (my spanish is a little rusty). The runway is long and in good condition. Tower and air traffic did a great job of getting us on the ground safe. Will come back, they are doing construction right now so things are a little out of place but all the staff is so nice.

I was assisted thru every step of the way by knowledgeable and Charismatic airport workers.

I was surprised when we landed. It was crowded and very small. However, customs was quick and efficient. We got our luggage quickly and departed without issue. When we departed from here I was surprised with how spacious it was. Plenty of seating and good food options while we waited. I’d fly through here again.

The checking-in process and boarding has improved but still has many layers of over complexity and over-redundancy which adds time and causes frustration. With that said, it still has been kept a very clean and safe place.

Clean, quick in and out. They do a good job of keeping things moving. EWR flights are always late departing so naturally, they arrive late here. Oh well.

STI is a nice little airport with a very nice lounge. The young woman who managed the lounge was very professional, friendly and efficient.

After many years coming back to my home country it was wonderful easy airport clean cordial employees I have no complaints.

Great airport. Both arriving and leaving was a great experience. Friendly people working there.

Rules need not apply. There is always something different everytime I travel here. Even traveling with the same exact luggage their travel rules are different from anywhere else. Plus, as other reviewers stated before there is always something "not allowed" which they promptly "toss to the trash."

First time flying out of this airport. Had to check in and waited on line for about 50 minutes. They had four customer service windows. Now when it came to immigration there was only one access point and we went through less than 10 minutes. World record. I liked that at our gate there was a bathroom close. Inside you will find what is expected.

This one of my favorite airports. It a small airport. It's a small which means you will get in and out. I fine some workers very rude and other super helpful. It balances its self out....lol Example, I letf my cell ( life) on thr plane,after arriving in Santiago. I told one worker and they did not want to hear anything about it 😒 I told another worker who literally walked me back to the plane to retrieve it

I love my hometown airport, I am only leaving a star less than perfect for a recent unpleasant surprise from the airline, that made me aware of a big oversight, my flight got delayed for a out 4 hours and I made it early to my flight meaning I spent nearly 8 hours at the terminal, but wifi is only available for 3 hours, and needs an updated implementation, it would crash for more than half the use time, and deprived me of useful info from the flight and the emails of the airline, please update the wifi infraedtructure and allow ppl to log in for longer or until their flight leaves:/, like I said though, I love my hometown airport <3

Small airport, very crowded place. Planes are always running late coming in and going. I arrived in United Airlines, and it was not a quiet flight, many people were drinking beer and rum and extremely disruptive. Inside airport, security and immigration was not crowded. However, when waiting at the gate, it was very crowded, and very loud. Travellers were rude and cutting lines. However, the airport staff was attentive and professional. Overall rated a 3 star. Next time I will fly via Puerto Plata or Santo Domingo.

Garcia Pena and fellow associates detained my passport for no reason following requests for a Migration officer's ID to accurately file a report following coffee being stolen by said officer. The same coffee I flew with in October 2021 and January, March, and July of 2022. Mr. Pena refused to ID his subordinate, yelled at me to leave, and went on a power trip detaining my passport without reason to intimidate me/keep me from making a flight. His supervisor needed to come explain there was no reason to detain my passport and stated a fake law to justify the stealing of private property. Absolutely disgraceful

This airport on arrival is super efficient! Immigration screenings are straight forward and you collect your bags right there. When exiting the airport baggage claim area, make sure you have your ticket with all baggage checked stickers matching your name along with your e-ticket... When passing the exiting checkpoint you are approached by employees who want to help you with your bags.. YOU CAN REFUSE! If you do use their services, prepare to tip. Your experience departing the airport may differ depending on your means of transportation.
