Had the most tranquil day ever! Was unsure when my husband suggested it, I’m so glad we bit the bullet and booked! Booking was easy and informative! Arrived parking is a 2 minute walk and wasn’t very expensive! We booked in and quickly got the paperwork out of the way! Ronald (who was lovely) helped us with the instructions and safety of the boat! We then set off a little nervous at first but it was lovely…. The scenery, the friendly people on other barges and the locals walking along the canal, the wildlife and most of all the peace! We stopped for dinner we brought food and had it on the barge. The facilities on the barge are basic but everything you need! We came back and again greeted by Ronald who helped us off and made sure the boat was safely secure. There are some bridges that you have to open but found it quite easy along the way! We will be back ♥️

Always fancied a day out on the canal and we finally got round to trying it. Booked with pennine cruisers very easy to deal with and we couldn’t wait to arrive. There is plenty of parking nearby which ain’t expensive a 2 min walk and we arrived. Got the paper work side out the way was shown how to use the boat and safety explained then we were off. Fantastic views and everyone is so helpful if you get stuck on the bridges nice relaxed pace really enjoyed ourselves and relaxed. Would definitely recommend a day trip out. Boat had what you needed we had jim and it was just the right size for the two of us. Take a picnic and some treats and tie up and enjoy the views. Will be back

Went with my partner and father and we absolutely loved it. Gargrave had some really nice places to see aswell as some nice places to eat. The views along the canals are stunning. The locks can be annoying but we became pros by the end - once you get the hang of it and the confidence - you'll have an amazing time. The boat itself is very warm and cozy and set out with everything you need so it's like a home away from home. A fully equipt kitchen/diner with a seating area that converts to a bed and a further double bedroom cabin in the back and a bathroom in between. Couldn't recommend highly enough and the staff are welcoming and helpful and always on hand if you need them. We are now obsessed with canal boats! Thank you !

We rented Rosie for the day. Lovely boat, very clean and all you need onboard. We had a fab 7 hour cruise up to Kildwick and back down to Skipton. Swing bridges were a bit of a pain as the heat had swelled some up, so extra muscle needed 💪🏻 Our dog loved it, my husband was in his element as it’s always been his dream to have one! The company are fab, of note, Pete, he was our instructor when we arrived and he is so nice, extremely informative and a fab sense of humour. Thanks for a good day.

8 of us hired a day-boat and we had a great time. We cruised towards Leeds as there are no locks for a distance that way. There were some swing bridges to open and close but with full instructions included in the safety briefing they were no problem, even for novices! Facilities on board were good, we brought our own food and used the crockery and cutlery provided which made the day easy and we could also brew up! There was room for us to sit inside or outside the cabin so the weather wasn't a problem. We will definitely come again...and we might even try the locks. Highly recommended for a lovely day out.

Lovely day out at Skipton. Enjoyed walking around the shops and discovering Pennine cruisers through the narrow walkways to the canal. Took a short, enjoyable cruise with a friendly member of staff. Fed the ducks and swans. It was all very relaxing.

We did the 30 minute ride in one of the small boats. It gives you a brief perspective of what its like on the canals. It's a silent tour so no history or stories shared on the way.

Great marina, so picturesque. Superbly helpful and friendly staff. A chandlery on site for all your boating needs. If they don't have what you want in stock, then speak to Zoe or Beverly, they'll get it for you and if they can't, then you probably don't need it 😄 Also, If you want a special treat, well then treat yourself to a canal cruise on one of their beautiful narrow boats. I promise you won't be disappointed A++ 👍
