A wonderful and important space, with a lovely little café inside. Wish there were more places like these across UK cities.

(Detailed review below) Food ⭐⭐⭐ Atmosphere ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Accessibility ⭐⭐⭐ Cost ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is a great place to go to if you're looking for unique gifts, art pieces and also your purchases will help a local artist! I like the concept that they've set up here and it's nice to see the artists busy working away on their pieces whilst waiting for customers. Cost is tough one; some pieces can be expensive but you are paying for quality craftsmanship.

Amazing place and very very nicely reused old building. I visit the place just for 5 minutes but it was so nice, that I stayed 45 minutes. Inside you will have different shops of crafts and arts. And all item are hand made. And you can see the artist working inside their shops and making new piece of art or craft. There is also a small space where kids can sit and make there own art piece. So you can also visit with your family. Definitely visit place in Manchester.

This street market called “The Maker’s Market” holds once a month. It’s a busy market with variety of items on display for sale. From confectionery to drinks to art pieces, crafts, clothes, scented candles, jewellery, tote bags etc. I enjoyed window shopping and bought scented candles. Watch out for the next one!

Wonderful little hidden gem in the city - it’s the perfect place to find handmade gifts for your loved ones, grab a coffee (i think the cafe opens on saturdays) and chill. I really like the community hub they’ve set up by the entrance with plenty of bright seating, plugs and crafts activities for children + most of the time there is an interactive exhibit or live music. I come here for some peace and quiet and to get some work done and I enjoy walking around the different shops and looking at the artwork so 10/10!! (also whoever’s in charge of the soundsystem has the best taste in music omg would an extra star for the SZA and ella fitzgerald on in the back)

Amazing! A beautiful space with a varied selection of craft galleries, all local artists and most in residence. One of the best such places I’ve found in the world and an absolute must if you are even vaguely interested in high quality, hand made art and craft. Wow!

Situated in the old fish market and housing a number of small craft, jewelry, pottery and textile artists/ makers it's a lovely place to spend an hour or two. You could find a lovely gift for someone, have a delicious lunch and really enjoy your time in this interesting old building

Really great place to poke around as a tourist. Our train was delayed the following day so we came back for a coffee and to fill out some post cards. Highly recommend. The artists are all extremely talented and the building is gorgeous.

It is a vibrant creative hub located in the heart of Manchester's NQ. The centre is housed in a beautifully restored Victorian building. The centre features a wide range of art and design studios, where you can watch the artists at work and learn about their craft. The studios cover a range of disciplines, including jewellery-making, ceramics, printmaking, and textiles. It is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in handmade crafts and contemporary design.

Such a sweet building full of craft and mainly jewellery stalls. You have to visit the upper balcony level to view inside the workshops. Music playing throughout and a small cafe tucked in the middle. Very relaxing

I've been visiting the centre, adding to my jewellery collection, for over 30 years. A vast array of classic & on trend pieces are displayed in the makers' studios to purchase on the day. However, if you can dream it, chance is you can comission it. Recently collected a pair of silver, amethyst, stud earrings, commissioned to be exact replicas of a solitary stud of great sentimental value. These were perfect. I also collected the same design with a different colour stone and asked for more to be made. I'd like to end up with a rainbow of coloured stones, to match my mood! It's worth noting, the studs are for my nose piercing. I frequently have them caught and pulled out by over-enthusiastic arms-in-the-air types & lost to the dancefloor.

Little private galleries and a hipster café. Just the right place to take a brake. If you are looking for presents or objects for your own place you will find plenty here

There's something here for every taste. Artisans and craftspeople in every medium. I came away with something I couldn't resist from each space I entered.
