I've found myself coming back here all the time. It's got some of the best food on offer in the Heston's. Amazing breakfasts. Great Sunday roast. And all the other times are just lovely! Coffee is maybe the best around. Wana a good night out? Vinal nights on the first Thursday is great fun.

I was brought up in Heaton Chapel. I haven't spent time there in over 40 years. I live in NYC surrounded by an abundance of eclectic cafes, coffee shops, uniques little stores however when I was home recently my sister took me here for breakfast. This little haven could easily compete with anything in NYC. The staff were lovely, the place cosy, clean, welcoming. The food delicious! The homemade baked beans and vegan sausage to die for! Loved the 70's music! Go Feed and Heaton Chapel!!! If I ever return I know where I will be heading . . .

Wow what a place! We’d come up to Manchester for a family funeral and were staying in the area. We didn’t get breakfast in the hotel deciding to sleep in. I googled to see where to get an all day breakfast and this place popped up, so we decided to try it before driving back down south. We loved the restaurant as soon as we walked in. It had a great atmosphere and a divine coffee smell. I’m really picky about my coffee and this didn’t disappoint, gorgeous flavour! It’s obviously a really busy place and we were very lucky to get a table. 10 minutes later they we’re turning people away because they were up to capacity on tables and a food wait time of 30 minutes. We ordered a full feed and a veggie feed. We definitely shouldn’t have ordered chips to share as well, because the breakfasts were a great size. I must admit we did wait over 30 minutes, but it was absolutely worth the wait when it arrived. I always say that good food takes time and this was seriously good food. It was all locally sourced and completely made from scratch, it looked and tasted delicious. The flavour of my pan fried greens were out of this world and to have homemade beans was such a treat. We were able to pick up a couple of boxes of eggs to take home too. We will be recommending FEED General Store to all our family and friends in the area. It’s a great little find. I would suggest you book a table not to be disappointed.

Just missed the GF bread that it said they had available on the menu but it wasn't any when I visited. That makes my options very reduced and boring I had my food with bacon instead, but just a small slices, not big portions. Coffee is great, very tasty. The access for prams is tricky, as is more space upstairs, but hard tog et the pram there. But in general cosy, most of staff are friendly, just someone didn't know much about what I could had GF, when I asked if the burrito was GF it was said, I don't thi k so, but it seemed she didn't want to doble check, so this make it tricky sometimes for people with allergies

Very long wait for food. 40 mins for two breakfasts when the cafe was nearly empty. Lots of screaming children. Weird service. Food was good but small portions and expensive.

Been quite a few times. Food and coffee is mostly good. However, I have been in twice recently and walked out due to no one coming to take order. We came this morning and waited 25 minutes... no one came to take an order. No apology as we left. Such a shame as I think the concept is great.. unfortunately we will defo not return

an absolute must for any veggies in and around Manchester, not only are all the staff incredibly friendly, but the coffee and food is fantastic (especially the roasted hazelnut syrup- most definitely the best coffee i’ve ever had!) This is a place i look forward to visiting whenever I return from uni, cannot recommend enough.

Quick visit for a coffee. Friendly warm greeting, order taken straight away and directed upstairs to nice comfy sofa. Great cappuccino, and one of the nicest mochas I've ever tasted. Great little place.

Friendly and casual spot for a delicious cooked breakfast on weekends (savoury options mainly; sweet options more limited to cakes, no pastries/pancakes/etc). The smash burgers and hand cut fries are also fantastic, as is the Sunday Roast! We regularly pop in whilst running weekend errands to grab a takeaway coffee and to stock up on their delicious granola for breakfast back home too. 👌

Got a breakfast for collection today. Was ready right on time. Beautifully cooked and still piping hot by the time I got home. Coffees were nice too could have been a bit hotter but the place was packed so that was understandable and won’t put me off returning! Thanks!

Just had a sausage sandwich but it was good, served on a sourdough ciabatta, which was different. Also, had a latte coffee which was a nice blend. This place is a boutique style cafe and bakery, so the sandwich wasn't cheap, but as it wasn't small either. The latte price was middling so not bad. Overall I like it so would go again and maybe try more of the menu.

What a fantastic evening we had attending Story Circle X Feed. Two interesting and cleverly written stories combined with delicious curry and drinks in a lovely, informal setting. The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Look forward to another Story Circle event soon.

This place has lost its polish recently. I understand that they are understaffed but there is often a 20-25 minute wait for food. In addition the coffee isn't the same as it used to be. A good food establishment will accept constructive criticism but a poor one will not. I asked for a coffee to be 'not too hot' and was told "we don't have a thermometer". Funny that, I thought all food establishments had to have food thermometers to ensure the food was safe.

Decided to try this place out for brunch and we were not disappointed! All the food was fresh, made inhouse and cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were hearty without being overpriced and the service was really friendly. A bright, spacious upstairs dining area was warm and inviting. Best coffee I've had since arriving in the Manchester area with great latte art by Chloe.

Been here a couple of times for cakes and coffee and really enjoyed it so brought the little one one along for lunch the other day. Food was amazing, all locally sourced and prices are spot on. Can’t fault this place, lovely atmosphere and staff, will definitely be back again.

First time visiting last week for Sunday lunch and we couldn’t find a fault. The food was delicious and well worth the wait. The staff were very attentive and friendly. But finishing the meal with their toffee pudding and cream was cheery on the cake for me. Absolutely divine. Highly recommend and will be visiting again soon!

I recently found this was close to where I live and have been loving it ever since. The coffee & food tastes good; the menu is pretty varied too, there seems to be something for everyone. They also sell bread, milk, eggs & other consumables.
