The accommodation was outstanding. We had 2 lodges between 10 of us, everything you need for a more than comfortable break. What made this holiday so much better was the staff, everyone we met was super friendly and helpful, always smiling! I was concerned that the time in the pools would not be long enough (3hrs) but the children had so much fun exhausted at the end of the session plus there was plenty to do around the park. Looking forward to next time!

First time at a center parcs and think this will be a yearly thing. Stayed in a treehouse which was amazing. Kids hired bikes for the full weekend. Plenty of activities to do. Fantastic swimming pool. Great supermarket and other shops. Lots of different restaurants.

As always we weren't disappointed by our CenterParcs experience. Lovely accommodation in lovely peaceful surroundings. The Subtropical Swimming Paradise again was a big hit with the kids. Our first time to Sherwood and we're very happy. Obviously things are a bit pricey, but for us it's worth it.

Great place love to go with family. Food is expensive and not very good but can cook in cabins although the shop is very expensive so take your own stuff. The pool is fab and all the activities love the lake and parks - would be great to see some autism friendly activities or time slots for them. Also the front doors could be safer for children as only locks from the inside with a chain and children can easily open and squeeze through so felt a little on edge maybe a few Austin friendly cabins. Great trip staff were friendly and place kept lovely. Would love to go back

Everything about Center Parc is excellent. Great lodges. Extremely helpful staff in all areas. Lots to entertain all ages, zip line across the lake a bit pricey but looked like fun as a treat. National Bat walk and talk by Mike absolutely great. Spotted loads of bats in the woods and Mike was fantastic and very informative. Family if 14 of us had an amazing time.

Brilliant weekend. Lodge was lovely. Plenty of activities for all ages. Found all of the eateries reasonably priced, with really good food. we never felt ripped off. The swimming pool was a fantastic, once again all ages catered for. My young grandsons loved the children's pool and the adults loved the rapids!

Absolutely fabulous place, very welcoming. Staff in shops, restaurants, swimming pool and even on the streets are extremely friendly, smiling and approachable. Numerous activities available for different budgets but make sure you book in advance, that includes the restaurants. The landscapes are fabulous with wildlife at your doorstep. It is very pricy, best to arrange a group stay to share the cost otherwise you'll be spending in excess of Β£1000. Great place for kids of all ages and adults. Fridays and Mondays are busiest days. We will be back again and thank you for hospitality Center Parks.

Really great location for an active holiday with kids. I went with a toddler. We did horse riding, rollerskating, messy play, mini dance and the swimming pool of course. The activities are quite expensive (Β£7-9 for each 30min to 1hr). There is a mini beach by the lake and an adventure playground and small indoor soft play and games area. Most of all we enjoyed riding around on his bike and feeding the wildlife. We had squirrels, ducks and geese at the patio door! I was going to attend the spa but unfortunately Β£100 for a 1hr massage was beyond the budget. The shop is very expensive too so try to pack the basics at least if you're planning to eat in for some meals. The restaurants are also more expensive than normal. I packed pasta, salt/pepper, sauces, tea, washing up liquid etc. Facilities were clean and well equipped. Sadly no one wearing masks in the shop or for activities so we came home with Covid! Having managed to avoid catching it for 2 years! Vaccinated too so just be careful

Went at New Year so as expected was very busy. Restaurant wait times were good all things considered and the staff were lovely. First visit to Sherwood so was comparing it to Whinfell and I didn't feel it was quite as magical. Pool area was fab. A great break with family and yes I would go back.

Cannot fault the accommodation or the staff who work there, but it is VERY expensive if you want to do anything that's not included in the price of the booking. My wife and I got a takeaway curry and it came to Β£63 and to be honest tasted like a supermarket microwave one. The on-site shop is pretty steep too but I suppose you're that far from the nearest other shops that they're always going to hike the prices up so I'd suggest make sure you take plenty of supplies with you. Just to clarify the place is beautiful and I'd probably go again because we really enjoyed our stay but I'll have to start saving now for next year

Beautiful, forest get-away. Loads of activities available (quite expensive), but also a nice place to visit for a relaxing break. All the accommodations, even the most basic ones are very nice and well equipped for self catering. Staff are always super friendly and helpful. We usually visit centre parcs every year and always have a great time!

I've been center Parcs for around 20 years on and off with family and now my fiance. So many memories there it's a special place to me!! Always making more memories too. You can do all activities or just sit and relax to unwind from the world around you whatever you do you'll enjoy it there. Center Parcs has a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities, restaurants, swimming pool and aqua sauna. Suitable for couples, families, friends or maybe time to yourself. Wheelchair and pushchair accessible with friendly lodges to suit needs. Can book a specific location for a lodge (added charge) or can be surprised and go wherever. Can add extras (charge) such as towels, food or takeaways. Some parking outside lodges (usually wheelchair ones) Mondays and Fridays are days where there are vechicles on site with a big secure car park for visitors and holiday makers to park their cars. Staff are friendly. Get texts from center Parcs when there offering phone numbers and links to activities and restaurants. Would recommend 😊

Had an excellent holiday with my family. Lots of great activities, something for everyone. Lodge was clean and well decorated. Staff were friendly. The swimming area was really good and had lots of fun. Resort has lots of places to eat as well and shops for food items if you need anything. Would recommend.

As good as always. The only disappointment was the uncomfortable bed and the thick duvet which would have been to thick in winter never mind summer. I did ask customer services if the could provide a thinner duvet or blanket but they said there was no other option. If you go remember to take your own duvet/blanket. Tried leaving the window open only to find staff cutting trees very early. Stay would have been excellent if I could get any sleep.

Site and location is excellent and our cabin was well equipped, modern and clean. It can get very busy and the staff sometimes do struggle to cope in the bars and restaurants on site. For what centre parcs charge you would think they would put on more staff during the school holidays.

We went for a family break and wanted to use the pools and enjoy some activities. We ABSOLUTELY enjoyed the pools and activities, it was great. Bike rides are safe as there is little to no traffic and roads are great for those on stabilisers. The staff are great and the one tiny thing is I found the pillows a bit too different from my personal one at home, but than that it's great and pillows fit in cars quite easily for our next visit 😊

Always a winner of a holiday every time we visit. Perfect location and the lodges are fully equipped for a stress free break away with family or friends. Only let down on the recent visit was the new Mexican restaurant. Tried it out for the first time and the service was shocking. Over an hour waiting for food, so many people complaining and getting fed up, we even missed our bowling slot as it took over 2 hours at the restaurant. Food however when it did arrive was beautiful. Spa was beautiful, the price brought a tear to my eye but that's Center Parcs for you! Will return again but will need to remortgage my house first so I can afford it! Ha!

Abit frustrated it took 4 attempts to get a spare quilt, after requesting in advance for twin beds, not a double. That request couldn't be fulfilled so we'd asked for 2 quilts. Lodge was very dusty in the bedroom. Lodge had had a new boiler fitted so could be where it came from. Fridge wasn't very cold when we took the Lodge over, again could because the power had been off to fit the boiler. Bedroom in the Lodge was too small for it to be practical. Not enough room from the end of the bed to the wardrobe. Had seen on Trip Advisor that the TV in the bedroom came on automatically, sometimes in the night. Luckily ours didn't do that but it does come on, due to the positioning of the mirror above the bed, when you turn the TV on in the lounge area! Small issue - due to having quite tiny wrists the wristbands to lock the door and the lockers was too big, but too tight on my ankle. Maybe there could be a slightly smaller size made and the staff on the entry judge the size to hand out. Another small issue - no toilet paper in the Lodge on arrival (luckily took 1 from home) by day 3 we queried it at guest relations and was told should have been supplied. 2 rolls were delivered.

Thoroughly enjoyed stay. Great facilities. Villa smaller than same range at other sites. Signage upon arriving and driving to barrier could be better. Great lake, pool and bowls. Nice and tidy - a great Center Parcs experience but prices of activities are up way more than height of inflation!!

Totally amazing place, most staff v welcoming. Dealing with tots staff, (male) need more understanding, Tots Roller boots staff v dismissive, not at all helpful as we were a little late. On the other hand Tots football, balance bikes (Richard) was excellent. On the whole a v pleasant 5 days well recommended

Right first time we went here. Missus wanted a cheap room but no i went full out on a luxury two story lodge 4 beders, 4 on suites, hot tub, sauna room, games room and steam room. It was amazing for the three of us!! But yeah we could have a one a little less with those things but it was well worth it as it was private and had private parking too. The place is fantastic, the pool area is amazing, there were magical things we were finding on a daily basis which WOW'D us. Definitely a great place for the family, we will be going to the other locations in the coming years.

I like Center Parcs but on this occasion, I feel like it was a bit of a let down. Having visited this place a number of times I love the set up of dropping the car off and using bikes whilst there. All the staff are always friendly and helpful there, albeit we didn't see many of them. The lodges will differ for everyone I'm sure but we opted for the 4 bed games room lodge. The lodge was great with balconies and some good views. There was plenty of space in the lodge and the rooms were relatively comfortable. Unfortunately, though, they just seem to be lacking basic maintenance. We had numerous bulbs out, wires hanging out the wall in the TV room and crayon all over the light shades. Not really in keeping with the premium prices paid In addition food was a big problem, on a busy weekend the food delivery option had no availability until 3 hours later when looking at options for tea with no options left to dine in anywhere. It wasn't the end of the world albeit disappointing because we had the ability to cook..... but the cookers they give you are useless. You wouldn't be able to cook for a party of 8 in the cooker intact it was a struggle to get any food up to temperature using it. What I find bizarre I'd the inability to do food delivery, the park is a fixed size with regular visitors. Cooking and delivering takeaway food shouldn't be an issue, a local takeaway can serve an entire town with less turnaround time. Maybe if we hadn't paid such a premium price then we may have ignored a few things here and there but overall it was very disappointing.

A truly magical place at Christmas, it makes you feel like a kid again. I've never had a bad word to say about the place. The customer service is always above and beyond. I highly recommend it all year round, but definitely the winter wonderland at Christmas times.

Brilliant 4 days with hubby, daughter, son in law and two grandchildren. Excellent accommodation, home from home for 6 people. Weekend full of activities for all. Swimming, rapids and slides, bowling, table tennis, walks around the lake and woodland. Good food had at restaurants and also take away. No complaints from any of us.

My husband and I took the kids and dog for my birthday weekend, bonfire night. We love this place and it was the kids first trip there. Signs to the lodges could be better and more well lit for 4pm check in during winter. We had to drive round for approx 30 mins to find our lodge. Parking was plentiful for a busy weekend though. The location is perfect. However, the prices are now out of reach for many, especially for a weekend, which set us back nearly Β£900 for a family of 5 with a dog. The activities are also pricey. All in all, 3 nights cost the same as our full week in Cornwall this summer including petrol. We had a lovely time but won't be back soon, too expensive.

Site was super clean considering its in the middle of the forest. All staff are super friendly and the shops were well stocked. My number 1 favourite place to go for a festive holiday. The Christmas decorations all look fantastic although prefer the old layout as there is now only one entrance and exit to it.

Great time here. Everything was spot on lodge (730 exceptionally clean thanks Tina) pool, sports, restaurants, bike hire (team there are very helpful) laser tag, bowling - all exceptional service and experience. Only one negative experience from the whole week was the terrible service at Las Iguanas, avoid that at all costs (even if it looks empty)

Lovely place and great to come back too! First time at winter wonderland and we loved it eventhough we have older teenagers. Would recommend! Only issue was lodge a bit tired looking and had a noisy cooker otherwise great.

We loved this place. Fantastic location. Very well organized. What I didn't understand is that the lodges don't have washing machine neither they have central washing services so, how do they expect a family will manage after 4 or 5 days?

  • 5/5 Hayley L. 1 year ago on Google
Just got back from here and it didn't disappoint yet again. So lovely, really gets you into the Christmas spirit!! Lodge was fab, clean and beds comfy. We stayed in birch area and it's perfect - 2 minute walk to centre Square. Swimming was great, could of stayed in all day!! Parc Market is reasonably priced, a little more expensive than supermarkets normally are but its what you expect in places like these, don't be surprised. Every single person who works here who we spoke to were so nice. Shout out to Richard in the indoor swimming paradise who came to our rescue!! Tip for you - when you go swimming, make sure you take enough wristbands (which unlock your front door on accommodation) as these are what you use to lock and unlock your 'locker' in the changing rooms. We made the mistake of bringing 1 wristband for 7 peoples bags, shoes, coats etc etc and whilst we were flapping about it, over walks Richard who very kindly gave us an extra 2 wristbands so no one had to get re-dressed to walk back to the lodge to get the wristbands we left behind. Staff in the pottery painting were fab - my little girl was unwell the day she was supposed to go for her pottery painting session and they gave everything she needed to paint her pottery back at the lodge to our friends, all we needed to do was get it back to them by end of the day so it could be fired in the kiln. How lovely of them!! I could keep going on but honestly, everyone is so sweet!!! We have been twice now at Christmas time and we are looking forward to visiting in the summer of 2024 to experience it in the warmer weather. Highly recommend πŸ‘Œ

Amazing place in a natural forest. Close to home. Don't have to fly or drive far depending on where you live. Food either eat in or dine out, which ever you prefer. So many activities to see and do. Or have a barbecue, wood fire or just enjoy the clean fresh air with squirrels birds ducks at lodge cycle or walk.

We had a really lovely weekend break at centre Parcs. The accomodation was clean and spacious, was nice to also have a log burner! The location was perfect and very pretty. We rented bikes which came to about Β£30 each - highly recommend though. The only downside was that the drinks in the restaurants/shops were quite expensive.

Great place to come off peak price wise. Peak season is nice but very expensive for self-service compared to the cost of going abroad. September is nice, cool but dry and bright. Once unpacked its quite a relaxed environment, unless you stack up a lot of activities. The Aqua Sana (that isn't a typo) is fantastic. Up until now it was the only treetop sauna in Europe. Lots of different room types and temperatures with a gairly large, open top pool in the middle. It's just lovely and relaxing. We sometimes drive an hour to spend the day in here and drive back after. The pool dome area is fantastic for kids. The kids area since it's been done is brilliant and kids love it. The kids jet ski activity is nice at additional cost but quite chilling for parents as you sit and watch your kids have fun in the empty section of the pool. Changing areas have improved vastly since covid and are really clean. We go most years and is nice family time together.

A fantastic stay in Center Parcs this weekend as ever. Lots of new landscaping been undertaken and it looks great. Particularly impressed by the cycle team. We hadn't hired a bike but they kindly fixed my sons and lent us another while we waited. Many thanks to bike engineer...Joe

Great holiday for all the family. We took our three grandchildren who thought it was marvellous, especially the indoor swimming facilities where they spent hours of fun. My wife and I were particularly impressed with the cleanliness and facilities available for all age groups. The staff were always warm and welcoming and assisted when things did not go to plan, which was very rare. Their attention to the natural world was exemplary with a brilliant wildlife centre and staff who knew what they were talking about. Highly recommended for all the family

A brilliant place to be out and about a day long doing activities. The cabin was definitely worth the price. You do pay extra for all the activities but would highly recommend quad biking. The instructors were amazing and the experience was so much fun. The pancake House is a definite must try on your visit. The pancakes are delicious and very filling. All the eateries had amazing food and staff were very friendly. Good atmosphere Would recommend booking activities in advance as they get booked up quite quickly

Pretty good overall, no major complaints, would love to see an adults only bar/cafe area as no where quiet for a pint / coffee. Swimming complex - excellent Lodge- excellent Shops/restaurants -very good Extra activities- very, very expensive! Arrival/departure days are crazy for loading/unloading . Definitely recommend but be careful with the spending

Great holiday resort. Staff are lovely, accommodation nice and well kept, lots of activities for the little ones and a practical nature / animal reserve. Accommodation was at the back of a little stream, we had rabbits, squirrels, ducks, geese and other birds visiting and even knocking on the window for food! Spa is lovely.

  • 5/5 Lynn D. 2 years ago on Google
8 of us stayed in executive Lodge, with sauna & steam room also hot tub. Found a few little problems, but guest services were brilliant. All sorted very quickly. Because we had some problems, nothing major, we were given a gift voucher for Β£120, chocs & bottle of prosseco. Everyone happy. Couldn't fault them. Going again next year.

  • 5/5 Jay W. 2 years ago on Google
The accommodation was really nice, and the pool is amazing (love the rapids and the slides are fun). Lots of activities available to keep the family entertained, and a lot of the amenities are quite central which is handy. Recommend bringing your own food where you can though as the shop on site is a bit on the pricey side! It has a good selection though so you shouldn't go short of anything.

  • 3/5 C S. 2 years ago on Google
They had Nice villas but uncomfortable beds and some activities like the big sky ride should of had a upper age limit as my step son who was 7 was too short and too scared to go around it I went on by myself and found some parts you needed long legs to reach places. Go karting was actually peddle kart which should specify that. Would be good if they had paint balling but they don't.

  • 4/5 Paul S. 2 years ago on Google
Nice place but you have to book everything even the pool, which you only get a 2hr slot. But when you got a young child they always seem to be sleeping at your time slot so youhave to wake them up. Kayaks and canoeing not being used. All restaurants fully booked. I would not go again until things are back to normal which i think wont be anytime soon.

😐 Ok, I know not many will agree but... Here goes. This spa is a little overrated. Now don't get me wrong, it's picture perfect.
