I
chose
to
come
and
see
Dr.
Olarinde
following
an
issue
I
have
been
experiencing
for
almost
4
months.
I
have
now
reached
a
limit
where
I
can
not
continue
this
way
and
felt
private
was
my
only
option,
as
the
NHS
is
struggling
to
cope.
Firstly,
I
just
want
to
mention
that
Dr.
Olarinde
is
a
very
nice
man,
he
is
a
very
likeable
person.
Secondly,
I
spoke
to
his
secretary
initially,
who
I
explained
my
situation
to
and
I
was
assured
Dr.
Olarinde
would
be
able
to
help.
I
was
also
informed
it
may
be
possible
for
Dr.
Olarinde
to
bump
me
up
the
NHS
list
and
he
would
list
every
cost
up
front
along
with
a
treatment
plan
for
me
to
agree
to
before
we
were
to
proceed.
That
didn't
happen.
I
arrived
at
my
appointment
with
a
list
of
everything
I
had
done
to
rectify
my
problem
over
the
last
3
months
and
all
the
medications
I
had
been
on,
thinking
this
would
be
a
very
professional
appointment.
At
this
point,
I
am
pretty
sure
of
my
diagnosis,
but
I
don't
know
why
I
have
been
suffering
for
almost
4
months
and
I
wanted
to
understand
surgical
options.
Before
entering
my
appointment,
Dr
Olarinde
was
running
late
and
I
was
asked
if
I
wanted
a
hearing
test
while
I
waited.
Of
course,
I
wasn't
sure
if
I
even
needed
one,
so
I
declined
until
I
had
explained
my
situation.
During
my
appointment,
Dr.
Olarinde
wasn't
very
interested
in
seeing
the
medication
I
am
on
and
was
more
interested
in
selling
me
more
and
more.
They
tried
to
clean
my
ears
as
there's
a
slight
film
on
my
ear
drum,
but
he
was
sure
its
not
the
problem.
So
I
didn't
understand
why
I
was
being
pushed
into
it
and
it
would
have
cost
me
another
£200.
I
was
only
given
the
cost
when
I
asked
for
it!
Baring
in
mind,
I
was
sent
an
email
with
estimated
costs,
which
I
was
not
aware
of
as
it
went
into
my
junk.
I
was
very
honest
about
that.
As
my
ear
was
inflamed,
it
was
too
painful
to
do
this
anyway.
I
was
constantly
informed
that
Private
is
expensive
for
a
reason.
In
the
end,
Dr.
Olarinde
informed
me
he
thought
he
knew
what
it
was,
but
I
needed
an
ear
test.
We
were
then
sent
away
very
quickly
to
travel
to
another
hospital
for
an
appointment.
This
then
cost
me
£185
although
the
audiometrist
was
very
good
at
her
job,
very
thorough
and
informative
throughout.
She
helped
me
understand
exactly
what
was
going
on
and
indicated
towards
what
the
problem
might
be.
Dr.
Olarinde
called
me
back
later
to
state
exactly
what
I
had
confirmed
and
that
I
needed
to
book
another
follow-up
appointment
in
6
weeks
to
THEN
discuss
surgical
options.
He
also
prescribed
me
the
same
medication
I
am
already
on
via
the
NHS.
I
haven't
received
a
treatment
plan,
a
report,
or
anything
other
than
the
hearing
test.
Which
was
done
via
a
different
consultant.
I
was
led
to
believe
this
was
an
option
where
I
would
get
answers
and
help.
But
I
haven't
really
had
that
as
I
have
to
suffer
another
6
weeks.
I
am
very
disappointed
and
unfortunately
I
will
not
be
visiting
again
any
time
soon.
P.s.
I
have
noticed
the
negative
reviews
are
removed
from
Google,
so
I'm
sure
mine
will
follow.
