Five plus. The spanikopita was top notch, philo prrfectly baked and perfectly balanced spinach filling. The small salad included a scoop of fresh potato salad, incredible. As a Long Islander, I have dined at hundreds of greek based restaurants and this family owned lunch spot is one of the best. Fresh. Super kind server. A+.

My go to place for breakfast since 1997. Local Family Owned since inception. Open Breakfast & Lunch 6 days a week Closed Mondays. Try an omelette or an egg over corn beef or for lunch one of their authentic Greek dishes. Dine inside or out. Happy friendly kind of place.

I used to eat here but not anymore. There is no organized way they do anything. Good luck sitting outside. Your best bet is to just be and inconsiderate jerkbag or sit in the lap of someone that is eating their meal.

Unfortunately, I really enjoy the food here. The problem is that I don’t want someone smoking a cigarette at the table beside me while I eat. They have outdoor seating that is entirely covered by a roof. By Florida Law, no more than 50% of an outdoor area can be covered to be considered a smoking area. I brought is to the attention of the manager and was promptly told that it was their business and that I did not need to come back. No problem there. If you want the taste of a cigarette while you eat by al means go here. If not, you might want to try somewhere else.

I came in the door because I saw real greek style potatoes with Lemon . Instead I had the special for today Greek Bolognese sauce. It was amazing . Baklava for dessert with honey on top just like Astoria. I'm on the road every day eating lunch and dinner . Greek Island is the best greek food I have had since Astoria New York .It looks like its family run ,service was excellent

The service and food was amazing. The people were so friendly. Definitely will be coming back. Potato salad was out of this world. Arnold Palmer drink ( lemonade ice tea mix) was fantastic. Everything we had was a 10+ from breakfast to luncheon menu.

Food and service were both great, more later. Try it you will like it.

It has gotten tougher and tougher to go there and I think many go because there are no other options, so it's 100% location. Food is average diner type food, some dishes are ok, but breakfast is weak. Potatoes have zero flavor for one example. But the worst part is the service has gone down hill. Always slow, slow to turn tables and very slow to get your food, with no excuse since it happens too often. They should know that Saturdays and Sundays are busy days and make adjustments. Servers are polite but not exceptionally friendly. They already cut the food options on the weekends (bizarre choice) so it should be faster. It could be great with better food, better potatoes, and treating loyal returning customers better.

Great spot to sit outside - fast and friendly service. The chicken platter was delicious and you get a lot for the price.

Amazing food and even more amazing staff. Family owned. Mom and dad cook and the sisters work the front of the house. 51 years strong and the food and people are the reason why.

Lots of good reviews but for us, after a few tries, both food and service have been average.

Grecian Island Restaurant was fair to good. The service was friendly, with no complaints. The best of the entrees was the Hummus Grecian Platter. The presentation, freshness of ingredients and flavor, was excellent. The Chicken Gyro was big in portions, yet underwhelming in flavor. It looked good, but simply did not deliver in taste. Perhaps it was due to the dull tzatziki sauce. Regardless, the experience was decent.

Excellent customer service. Charming family run spot. The Greek salad is great, the Greek gyro platter is phenomenal. I also enjoyed their breakfast . 3-4 times I’ve been here and consistently good!

Just a wonderful place to eat. Stopped in just as they were opening. Wasn't expecting a breakfast menu. Disappointed at first but the food was delicious. The absolute best French toast we have ever had. Really enjoyed eating out on the sidewalk. A relaxing beautiful atmosphere. The inside looked very cozy & clean. Aleene is the queen of customer service. She was friendly, efficient, and handled several tables at once making everyone think they were the only customer there.
