This bowl was quite amazing! Super easy with being allergen free friendly. Everything was fresh and super flavorful. Easy to navigate menu, friendly staff and prices are very reasonable. Outside seating is really nice, well shaded. Will be my new go to!

Super fresh, delicious, and you can taste the culture in the food. The service is wonderful and they can put any toppings you wish! Please come with your belly empty as the bowl will leave you full and happy! I will be telling every one about this place and will be sure to get people to this new lovely place. Also, Joe’s lemonade is so good! They do have deserts, wraps, falafel, and so much more.

Got the beef shawarma wrap with all the fixins. The restaurant was clean and the staff was nice. Food was really good! After we sat down I looked at the reviews, 5.0 with 80 reviews. Great spot and the prices are very reasonable.

Love the falafel!! Soft and great taste (usually can end up very dry). It seemed fresh made. Portion of the bowl is definitely good enough.

%100 authentic, fresh, and clean. Friendly and fast service. Their Shawarma is like nothing you have tried before. Plenty of vegetarian options as well. You will start ditching your mama’s food for Nana’s after your first visit.

The pita is super soft, chewy, and delightful. The bowls are very tasty and you can add all the veggies you'd like. I ordered a pita on the side for $1. I wasn't too fond of the farro (green grain) which was crunchy and undercooked a bit but overall experience was nice.

While visiting family in Tampa, I came across this restaurant when I was searching for a Schwarma chicken bowl. Wow! What a lucky find! The food was prepared quickly and the price was very reasonable for such great fresh food. You have multiple options for the base, your protein, toppings, and sauces. The size of the meal was what I expected. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and highly recommend Nana Middle Eastern Street Food.

Recently, we discovered a new Mediterranean restaurant in Tampa's downtown area and were eager to try Nana Middle Eastern Street Food for dinner. On Friday, we took advantage of the chance to dine out and enjoy their cuisine instead of cooking at home. The restaurant was located approximately 20 minutes away from our residence, situated in the downtown area. Due to its location, finding parking could be challenging and expensive. Upon entering the establishment, a friendly server warmly greeted me, and I was immediately impressed by the restaurant's ambiance. I noticed that the menu had a variety of drinks, including Berry Blast, Mandarin, Peach, and Orange Juice. For my meal, I couldn't decide between the Shawarma or Shish Taouk bowl, so I sought the server's advice. He kindly offered me a taste of Chicken Shawarma and Shish Taouk, allowing me to decide on my dinner. Although I was fond of both options, I ultimately chose the Chicken Shawarma bowl. It was incredibly flavorful, packed with various ingredients, and the accompanying sauce was delightful. The portion size was also satisfactory for a single serving. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I highly recommend trying the Mediterranean restaurant! I personally enjoyed my experience there

Just so happened to stumble across this place and I am so glad we did. The chicken shawarma bowl was to die for! So many toppings to choose from as well as sauces. The restaurant is very clean, open, and inviting. Even though it was busy, the line moved quickly. The ladies who helped us were kind and helpful. They guided us through our options and built us amazing bowls. Definitely coming back to try the Falafel as my friend is vegan and she said this place serves the best Falafel in Tampa.

Great little spot in Downtown Tampa! I had a meeting downtown and needed to grab a quick bite before the meeting and stumbled upon this gem. Amazing flavor, large portions, and great drink selection. This has become my new downtown spot! Thanks for the great meal and warm hospitality!!!

Oh my gosh, this place is insanely good! I would highly recommend to anyone. I came here with my family for vacation straight from the airport. The owner and employees were extremely friendly and helpful with choosing the perfect meals for each person. I got the steak shawarma and it was so flavorful, along with all the hummus they have. The owner put a piece of lamb for me to try (customer service is top notch)! My family and I love this place!

Look no more!! You found the best Mediterranean restaurant!! I couldn’t choose between their beef shawarma or the chicken one, both tasted spectacular!! I loved the variety of their dishes, the staff were friendly and professional, and the place is fresh and clean!

Super impressed. Place was clean and great atmosphere. Staff were nice, greeted at the door and helped along the ordering process, made recommendations, and of course, most importantly, the food was really good. Healthy, FRESH, clean, and full of flavor. I also got a frozen lemonade with some sort of herb in it, can’t recall the name, but wow- really good and not too sweet which was great. The prices were great too. I’d really recommend this place to anyone. I’m excited to come back and try more. Great job guys!

Really flavorful and delicious food. Good amount of options for toppings and sauces. We asked for extra rice and veggies to make it worth the price, will definitely be going back. Decor has character and the people are friendly. So glad this place opened up!

Me and my girlfriend decided to try out Nana, and boy was it tasty. The food was incredibly fresh, having been to the Middle East, the kefta lamb was perfect. Both of our bowls featured some of the best pickled vegetables I’ve had on this side of the world. On top of that the service was great, they even brought out a bowl of water for our beagle. Great people, great spot in the heart of downtown Tampa. We will definitely be back!! 10/10

Ordered uber delivery....charged for cauliflower with hand written note that says they are out; but still charged. Ordered a $4 lemonade that was described as their special homemade lemonade with mint....got a bottle of minute maid. Olives are just green olives not kalamata like one might expect. Food overall is just meh.

Their food is DELICIOUS!! You can tell the food is made fresh and all in house. Not to mention- they are halal which is nice as there aren't many places downtown that are.

Great place and everything is really good. I especially like the avocado hummus and their falafel salad bowls. I also really like their eggplant Tourlou dish that they make!

Nana just opened near my home and it is phenomenal - we’ve been twice in three days! The food is super fresh and flavorful. I’ve gotten the lamb and chicken shawarma bowls and both were excellent. Highly recommend ALL the pickled vegetables, the garlic whip, harissa, and hummus!

WOW! I ordered 2 bowls on Uber eats and I was absolutely amazed. The falafel was moist yet crunchy. The flavors in every topping and sauce was bold and fresh. The quality, portion and price was fabulous. I will be ordering again. Very impressed.

I respect the atmosphere and the service of the employees. They were kind. However, my complaint is with the food. More specifically, the quantity of meat versus all other options. I have a strong dislike for restaurants who have this concept that less protein served to customers will raise them a profit. I find the complete opposite to be true; low quantities of meat in their bowls will yield less customers resulting in profit loss. I digress. My entire bowl tasted tasted like something I could make at home, steamed rice and some vegetables. $14 for this is unbelievable. The amount of meat was less than a scoop. If you want extra protein, it’s $4.00 which is a money gimmick. If you’re a returning customer, let the employees know that you want more meat. Why be stingy with something people are paying for? Won’t be returning here for sure unless by some miracle, word gets around that they’ve changed their ways.
