We stumbled on this little hidden Jam on our way back from the beach. We were readily seated and our food was just great! We also had the pleasure to meet Ryan in person, he was kind, welcoming and wanted to make sure we got the best service, well we really did and I will go back every time we visit Clearwater. Another plus is that his menu is decently priced for his location. Some pictures from our visit also in this post.

Ryan is absolutely a fantastic guy, and extremely personable. I love his story and hope he franchises it one day. His staff are rock stars in their own right. The place is off the main drag, so you have to find it online in order to find this gem, which my gf found by review, which we consider ourselves lucky, as we went back all three days we were here. Their food is great tasting, made to perfection, and brought to you quicker than you expect, just like the portion sizes. You won't be disappointed!

I was a bit hesitant to come here for the Bloody Mary as most homemade recipes are bad. That was not the case here, this bloody was full bodied, perfect with the right amount of spices and a hint of tangy sweetness... Garnished with 3 olives, a healthy serving of bacon cooked to perfection and a beautiful sprout of celery to bring it all together. Definitely recommend coming here for the Bloody Mary alone! But while you're here, why not go ahead and get some food as well. I had the Bacon Benedict and my friend built her own omelette. The 3 eggs resting on a bed of bacon which also rested on a bed of English muffins all smothered together with the perfect sauce! Normally I need hot sauce when I eat eggs, I didn't even touch the hot sauce for this meal!

I had probably one of the best Ruben sandwiches I ever had. The pastrami was so tender and flavorful I had to tell myself to slow down and enjoy it. I see why our server, Scott, said it was his favorite. Excellent suggestion There is Outdoor and Indoor dining options here. There's plenty of shade outside so it's still comfortable and cozy. I also want to mention the awesome service. We were acknowledged by three people back to back before we were seated. I can tell they value their customers experience and I really appreciated that AND the super yummy food!

Off the beaten path. Nice spot for breakfast. Nothing special, hard to mess up breakfast. We were seated relatively quick as they were busy. We opted for a table outside cause it was a beautiful morning. There is plenty of seating inside though. Our waiter was prompt and efficient. Will return.

CHEF RYAN HAS DONE IT. Ryan’s Island Cafe is a must eat here in clearwater. It is an amazing local location that any tourist must try and those living here will become regulars. All food is fresh and delicious. The wait staff is quick and amazing. The chef does an amazing job preparing everything with care and precision. This is a spot that if you don’t go you will forever regret not eating at it and once you try it you wont help but be able to tell your friends about it. This is easily the best local spot to eat and is a spot that should be packed full with patrons every single day.

The place: This place has the best breakfast in the Clearwater beach area and I’m not just saying that. It’s a small cafe that gives you that small town vibe where everyone knows your name…and they do take time remember you. Upon entering your are greeted my the sweetest hostess and I wish I could remember her name for a shout out but she’s the real GOAT. Stephanie and Jennie took care of us and we’re never short on the excellent service or the ice coffee refills (I highly recommend). The food: Their Eggs Benedict has sky rocketed to the top of my personal food favorites list. One of my most sought after breakfasts but I am usually left disappointed. This was in no way the case for Ryan’s as his culinary skills brought us back daily during our trip and I will forever recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. From the croissants to the French toast nothing was less than excellent. The biscuits and gravy are a definite must that will fill you up with the generous serving sizes. If you like mimosas then they’ve got you covered…no light pours and half off on Monday’s. Overall: Ryan and his staff were amazing with their welcoming smiles. We will definitely be returning on our next trip down. If your looking for a great breakfast spot then look no further. Until next time keep doing what your doing.

We stopped at Ryan's Island Cafe for a brunch before we left. We loved it. There's a small group of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I'd gotten the eggs Benedict and it was phenomenal. If you're looking for a great brunch place, Ryan's Island Cafe is definitely worth a trip.

We stopped in for breakfast on a busy Sunday morning our first day in town. We were so impressed with how quickly we were seated and the food was delicious. We had to go back for another visit and once again they delivered. We were greeted and seated in no time. The blueberry pancakes were fluffy and tasty, the eggs were prepared to order and the vegetarian hash browns were filling and well prepared and presented. This will be our go to place for breakfast for the rest of the trip. The only reason for not giving a 5 across the board is the nuisance of the birds that hover around.

Breakfast here was fantastic. The regular breakfast (2 eggs, meat, hash browns, and toast) was plenty to eat. Being visited by Frank the Crane boosted the atmosphere! He really liked the eggs we couldn't finish!

Fantastic experience at Ryan’s this morning! Polite and friendly service, outstanding food, very clean. Loved everything about Ryan’s Island Cafe. We had the Create Your Own Omelet and Tony’s Sandwich. Ryan greeted us as we came in, our server Scott was outstanding and you can tell they truly appreciate your business. We’ll be back!

Delicious EVERYTHING! And best service (Scott was our server both times we went). There were so many people waiting and they accommodated us with little wait. Also the music is the BEST we Shazam’d a bunch of the tracks haha

This place is truly PHENOMENAL! Trust the great reviews! All the staff is incredibly friendly as well! We had bacon eggs benedict and a breakfast burrito which was “pressed” to perfection. We’re already planning our next meal here. Thanks Ryan’s ! Update: We were able to make it back one more time before our weekend ended and it was just as delicious as the first! I did a Buffalo chicken wrap with fries and my husband had a “breakfast BLT”. I don’t know how they do what they do, but I appreciate it ! Good meals aren’t always easy to find !

BEST breakfast place we’ve found that actually meets (or beats) our favorite place in San Diego. We have always looked forward to vacations in San Diego…mainly for the food! And have never found anything close to our favorite breakfast spot until we stumbled on Ryan’s. First of all, the atmosphere is so ‘beachy’ ’…the people are friendly, the restaurant is so cute, and location right in Clearwater is perfect. But the food is amazing! We all had the Belt Breaker … the eggs were cooked perfectly (no slime), the toast was toasted just right and topped with real butter, the little potatoes were crisp on the outside and soft in the middle, the bacon was perfection, and the pancakes were the tastiest we’ve ever had! They don’t even require syrup in my opinion, just some fresh strawberries 🍓 We so appreciated the friendliness and service of our server, Scott. The support offered from all staff was delightful to see. We will be back and highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We love a good breakfast place and this place was amazing. Everything came out in a timely manner. Service was good and the Chef even came out to make sure everything was good and thanked us for coming. Will definitely return to try different things.
