The Lodge at Lakecrest is a multi-family community located near USF, Moffitt and Busch Gardens. It offers a variety of amenities like other communities in its caliber, however in my experience, the staff makes all the difference. My family and I have lived here for almost 10 years and I’m truly reluctant to move because the office and maintenance staff are top-notch. They have been helpful, responsive and typically go above and beyond when dealing with issues. Since the pandemic, that same attitude of helping their residents continues. The community itself is nice and well-maintained, but I think it’s the people who work here that warrant the five star rating. My family and I are facing challenging times since the pandemic, and the office has been knowledgeable about various government programs that offer rental assistance for individuals who qualify. And even prior to the pandemic, Lodge staff members have typically been to responsive to other concerns expressed by residents here. I have enjoyed living here… and hopefully I do not have to relocate anytime soon! It’s a great community for families of all ages.

Honestly I like living here, the community is well kept and it’s nice and quiet. The maintenance team is honestly amazing they always fix everything and are always so kind and polite. I’ve never had a problem until recently. When I moved in last year Julian was the best leasing person there. He always helped and as annoying as I am with my questions he always answered them with respect and was always so kind and polite. The ladies that work there are pretty rude. The two ladies named MELINDA and SABRINA are rude when it comes to questions. They are PASSIVE AGGRESIVE as if I’m dumb and don’t realize they treat us like that. If you don’t like answering questions you should find another job that doesn’t deal with people and hospitality. They are rude when you go into the leasing office acting like we should know where they sit. They constantly move around and sometimes I find them in one room and the next day in the other. They can kindly say hello or “we’re right this way!” Instead of “Hello? We’re over here” in a rude way. When we call to ask about our refund they act so annoyed that we have questions. I’m sorry I have questions. Questions bother them so much. Like they just want to sit in the leasing office and don’t want anybody to bother them. At least fake your kindness bc it’s the job you chose. Most of them are very friendly specially Stephanie. Without her the leasing ladies act like there are no solutions but Stephanie has helped tremendously and has always solved our problems. The other ladies just say oh we can’t do anything about that. The maintenance team is also amazing except for this one guy who acts like I don’t know how to use a garbage disposal. He keeps blaming me that I keep placing food down the sink when it’s called a garbage disposal for a reason. I’m sorry if a few pieces of rice grains falls down the sink. He gets annoyed like I’m purposely clogging up the kitchen sink when it’s been doing that since the day I moved in from the old residents. He keeps saying that the plumber will come bc the problem is bigger than he can handle yet no plumber comes and when I put in a maintenance request he acts like it’s my fault. Overall I like living here and never had anything bad to say but those two leasing office ladies and that one maintenance guy have attitudes like they hate their jobs. You can have one bad day but every time I go into the leasing office and they have attitude? I don’t think that’s normal. It’s like they’re only nice at first so you can sign the lease and they can say they did their jobs and after they don’t want to deal with you.

I love living here! The dog park is fantastic and I’ve met so many good friends here. The office is friendly and worked to resolve many issues I had. The maintenance team is great. They are operating some kind of Carpet scam where they send you to collections even when you have proof your carpet is in fine condition. Anna Gruden is a truly heinous lady. The walls are thin. You will not be able to sleep and black people yell throughout the night.

I lived at The Lodge for 3 years and loved everything about it. The leasing staff are extremely helpful and the maintenance team are brilliant. The facilities were great (newly renovated dog park was definitely a favourite!) and I really miss walking around the lake. Thank you for providing a safe, clean and friendly place to live.

Very un happy with the maintenance workers. I been calling and calling for them to fix my light in my room for months now and nothing. My kitchen sink is clogged up to the point I can’t wash my dishes and I’ve repeatedly called and put request and you guys do NOTHING about it! Pease fix your reputation and make your tenants happy!

Here you find living with beauty and comfort 🤎🤎🤎.. And enjoy a walk and a charming view 😩 Where it is located in a special place.📍 Housing organizes and participates in multiple events. And in this place you never get bored How wonderful the staff is, and the maintenance service is fast👍🏻 .. But I hope the color of the kitchen and the color of the floor change and the beauty is complete 😍

My family stayed here while my father recovered from Chemotherapy/Bone Marrow Transplant. We had booked the other property they owned by I-75, but it was unexpectedly overbooked so the Staff at The Lodge at Lakecrest Apartments let us stay at the Lakecrest Apartments. Words cannot describe how thankful we were and how nice and supportive the staff were towards us. Dad slowly regained his strength and was able to walk a little around the pond and watch the ducks. The apartment had all the amenities for making our own meals and felt like we were at home- plenty of stores nearby and a Publix right down the street. It is gated and private- no loud music or parties at night. Spacious rooms, patio, 2 bathrooms, furnished, clean, cooking utensils provided, cable tv, full kitchen, etc. It is extremely close to Moffitt and made dad's rides more comfortable considering how weak and fragile he was. I highly recommend this company and I am sure the other property was just as good. Thank you so much for everything and I am sorry that I couldn't get this review out faster- we were there during the pandemic (late July-early Aug 2020). We paid by the week, but when dad was discharged a little early, The Lodge sent us a discount for the days we didn't stay. I wish I remembered all the names of the people who helped us, they were all a blessing. No complaints at all. Even if the price may be higher than the other property, it is worth every penny and I tell evryone who has to go through procedures at Moffitt about The Lodge. I am not sure about pets though. A lot of people go to Mercy House, but if possible, come stay here.
