Tough meat to navigate . Ambience was top notch however the food was sub par for such an acclaimed restaurant ! I choose the fish which was excellent however our party was disappointed again with the tough meat .

In my quest to find excellent steak in this great, up and coming city, this was a pleasant surprise. It's not in a fancy neighborhood, it does not have fancy decor - but who cares cause the meat was excellent and that's by far the most important thing. Various standard and dry aged cuts. Very good portions with more than fair price points. Please remember that Berns is an awful tourist trap that I gave 1 star, which was quite generous. Forget that place and go here. Your stomach will thank you.

I travel for work consistently. Generally I am stopping at very expensive restaurants, and have stopped at MANY steak houses. This one takes the cake at a fraction of the cost. Their dry aged Ribeye is by far the BEST steak I have had on the road thus far. The service here is amazing as well the made sure to check on our table consistently, and took great care of myself and my coworkers. If I am in Tampa again, I will undoubtedly be back.

Ahi tuna was not exactly ahi tuna (not seared with the seasonings) service was ok, no music.... But all in all food was GREAT & price was definitely worth it! I still give it 5 🌟

I just had the best dry-aged steak of my life!!! It was grilled to perfection, tender, and juicy. Service was outstanding, and all three waitresses, but especially Ximena, gave me a detailed explanation about the menu and wines. Would recommend this place always, I'll be back soon. Thank you for such a lovely lunch at Renzos ♥️

Had Renzo's last night, walked into a low lit, Carryout style restaurant, ordered the Picanha with French fries. While we were eating there was construction going on. The owners were remodeling the floor and installing while people were seated dining in. Food was decent but expensive. Left me wanting a more authentic Argentinian experience. P.S. they were playing Brazilian Music while we were there the irony in that.

When you get to taste exquisite dinner with a chic atmosphere. This is one of their dessert, cheno And their red sangria We got the “all meat” for two with 2 sides. It was plenty for a dinner.

The food gets 100% score. wagyu Steak was Amazing tasting. Filet Mignon with Chimichurri sauce was my choice and it did not disappoint. At all. Service was great. Gladys was very attentive and cordial. Management stopped by to check if everything was good. Will surely recommend this place for great dinner. 😋

Our experience for our first visit to Renzo’s was impeccable. Jose was our server and he provided exceptional service and recommendations. Food came out exactly to temperature and was delicious. 10/10, we will be back for more!

decided to give this place a try for an anniversary dinner, glad we did! food was great, we had the papirilla(?), and there was plenty for both of us. the chocolate dessert was great too. will definitely look to visit this place again when we're close to Tampa!

Nice hidden treasure for tasty food. It's a small place, but the food is plentiful! Highly recommend the combo red meat platter. Mouth watering!

Sometimes focusing on the specifics creates a much better result than a menu trying to encompass too much. Renzo’s does exactly that focusing on meats and wine. Starting with the wine, the selection is great. Servers are knowledgeable on wines to help discuss which ones favor which meats. Then onto the food, it all tasted great. Quality of ingredients was fresh which stood out. And flavor was all there! I love places like this since they serve such amazing food in a relaxed environment. It’s the best of both worlds for a dining experience.

Great option to come and get some steak. This isn’t your “normal” steak house, this is an Argentinian steak house so there are some great options to try that you don’t get every day. Empanadas and yuca fries are the top of my list. Also definitely make sure you try the chimichurri on your steak.

I used to eat here a lot - two or three times every week. But it's gotten wayyyyy too expensive. My usual meal has almost tripled in price. The food is still good and they made the place look nicer, but I rarely go anymore. Maybe twice a year now. I'm not cheap, but I am not into getting ripped off either.

The food was delicious. and services great, we were 8 in our party and no complains , we Didn’t like that they charged us for the few pieces of bread they brought, also we brought a birthday cake and they didn’t allow us to eat it. The complain it’s not the restaurant it’s the management policy that sucks, that policy needs to be updated “

Picked this place out of Google maps because we were looking a decent place to eat with the family. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, the service was fast, friendly and inviting. They've certainly mastered the ability to please a guest. It's pricey, for a family of 4 people the bill was almost $400. But I could still say I'm pleased with the service overall.

The food was average to slightly above average. We were a large party (about 20) and that may have played a role. The good - the spinach empanada app was fabulous! Many patrons enjoyed their entrees although not raving about it but felt it was good. The not so great - the paella entre was way overcooked and all the seafood was tough. The muscle were super dry and the squid, scallops and shrimp were tough and gummy. The dish was also way over salted. I also specifically asked if it would take longer to prepare and I was assured it would not. Well, my meal was the last to arrive when most of the party was close to finishing their meals. My wifes filet was average and not cooked to medium rare as requested. The ambiance has that cafe style feel as their dinning area is open air. It lacks a cozy warm atmosphere. Service was good, friendly and courteous our large party had a 20% service fee already included on the check which given the party size seems reasonable. I'd go back to give them another try but I'd stay away from the paella.

After visiting this establishment on three occasions, we unfortunately experienced consistent disappointment. Despite the relatively high prices, the ambiance did not reflect that of an upscale restaurant. Each of us ordered our meat cooked to a medium-rare temperature, but it consistently arrived at our table significantly undercooked and practically rare. We made two attempts to have it prepared properly, but to no avail. It's clear that the chef would greatly benefit from further training in the art of grilling to achieve the desired degree of doneness.

Great Atmosphere. The All Beef parrilla is a great choice if you are coming with 2-4 people and can share different styles of steak. The waitress “Gladys” was very attentive and amazing Customer Service . Definitely will come back again

Wow! You have got to go to Renzo’s and try one of their Empanadas Argentinas, so yummy and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Ordered a porterhouse for 95 dollars and got a NY strip missing the fliet. This is not a steak place. Furthermore two people in my group ordered the NY strip and got ribeye instead. If you like steak avoid this place.

I had their medallions and I know the potential is there, but the meat was kind of dry. The ketchup is made there and it’s delicious. I also had the fra diavolo and Ramsey himself must have made it. It was beyond my expectations, warm, soft, and ever bite was like a delicious surprise. The amount of spice is just perfect, I’d go back for this plate only. I had the carne empanada and it was okay.

An excellent experience at an insane value! This restaurant, emphasizing excellent cuts of steak and decadent wines, captures the essence of Argentinian cuisine. Not to mention, THE VALUE! At comparable steakhouse, you pay $40 for 6 oz. Not at Renzo’s. We had the Steak sampler for about $50, but that came with 3-4 sirloins each 6oz, a ribeye about 10oz, short ribs, and a flank steak that was delicious! This meal easily could feed 4 people, plus it came with two large sides, which were great as well. The wine selection, all from Argentinian wines, were what topped off the night and paired excellently with the meats. We were also blessed by our host and waiter to receive great service. My only suggestion would be to make the wine a more immersive experience. They have so many bottles, they should try to offer tastings to the customers. Even if it was an extra upcharge, that would’ve been very nice to fully experience Argentinian wines. All in all, the value makes this place a 10/10 recommendation.

Happy to have a local Argentine place, but so far based on the spinach and chicken empanadas I had as takeout, I’m not really impressed. They weren’t very flavorful and the chicken was dry. Looking forward to actually eating at the restaurant and trying some other dishes, though.
