Open waterfront restaurant with tables and single chairs outside by the terrace, facing the river. Very nice view. Also dinning "inside", (there's no doors). Online ordering from the QR menu on the table, like a lot of other restaurants after C-19. Online ordering is very simple. Keep in mind that you don't get any service, except the person who brings you the to-go box with your order, and some napkins. I guess you are supposed to ask for utensils or eat with your hands. Super slow drink service and the warm beer I was very hungry but the food was horrible. Super burnt conch fritters impossible to eat. Really hard pieces of something inside the fritters. Ate one and it was really bad. Tasteless fried shrimp crust tasted old. Note to management: You need to change the frying oil ASAP! Not only the worst place in our Tampa trip, but the worst food I've eaten in years. Waste of money. Do not recommend. No need to contact me, my comment is very self explanatory. Follow another good restaurants guidelines, take cooking classes and PLEASE change the frying oil!!!

Love how they extended their seating area and its covered. Also Love how they have separate pickup food area then the bar which makes total sense. This way the bar area is not too crowded. Also Love❤the pager idea💡When the kitchen is backed up, you get a pager instead of just standing there and waiting for your order. Good thinking🤔👍

Stopped in on our walk to have a drink for sunset. Bartender was great! Wasn’t super busy, had live music and looked like everyone was having a great time. The manager stopped by and talked with us and was so nice. Stop in this little gem is you are passing by. You won’t be disappointed!

Great place, perfect location on the water and near so many fun places - the Riverwalk, Convention Center, JW Marriott, Harbour Island and much more. Great drinks! Friendly staff. Lots of TVs to make for a great place to watch football or hockey games.

Great open air place. Lots of nice people hanging out. The bartender Max is one of the best. I love that place. Food is good and served fast. I just regret ordering the grouper nuggets. They were way too salty. I hate to return food. So I had to toss it. Wings and fries were great. I still give 5 stars for service and hospitality. Great mojito by the way. Thank you Max!!!

Definitely one of my favorite places to stop at when we come out here! We usually bike around and stop for a drink. We finally brought the dog out and they even had a treat and a dog water bowl to offer her! The people that work here have such a great personality! It’s perfect during the day or the night. Love it and will continue to stop by!

Pulled pork sandwich and Garlic fries was not too bad. Sail Plaza needs extra help, only saw one girl handling all the tables around the bar and outside seating.

Fun atmosphere and nice crowd not too much also dj plays all good music I am always dancing before I get to my table 😀 I've had conversations with some customers that were friendly as well I hung out around Halloween took pictures and had a blast!!! I loved the decorations it was awesome for pictures! I will eat more next time and I love that they make frozen drinks as an island girl we drink them year round and it's becoming harder to find bars that still makes Frozen Daquri!

The Sail is a great place to relax and kick back with a few drinks. Located along the Tampa Riverwalk opposite the convention center. Located near the JW Marriott and Marriott Waterside. As a local resident I can recommend highly, oh and it is very dog friendly as well

Live music and people watching are great. Watched boats go out and come in as the sun went down. Drink prices were not bad

Our bartender was awesome but since there were 4 of them you would think they would walk around and work the tables a little bit to drum up business.

Great bar that is well staffed, live music & amazing grouper bites/sandwiches at Big Ray's. Order at each spot individually then sit down & enjoy!

This place is heaven on Earth! There is no more beautiful spot anywhere in Tampa Bay that exhibits the beauty that is our metropolis. Location should be enough but the food and drink is the best value to be found anywhere along the Riverwalk - nothing fancy, just dependable mainstays with great value. The staff are incredible, friendly and on their grind to take care of customers. A peaceful day is not complete without a stroll through Sail Pavillion! ❤️❤️❤️

The atmosphere was nice and the drink prices were decent for the area. The bartender made our cocktails and forgot ingredients. He said its a new menu and it's his first hour working. Didn't make an effort to make it right.

Wonderful outdoor atmosphere to gather along the Riverwalk. Stopped in before the blake shelton concert and had a pre-game cocktail. My drink was stroooong. I didn't need much after that. It's hard to enjoy, though, but you don't want to waste it at the same time. It was so relaxing, though. The menu was small, and we decided to grab something at the arena that night.

Great place to stop for a drink while walking the Tampa Riverwalk! Spacious covered seating. Easy walk into the city. Also, they had some fun Halloween decorations.

Great location to spend sometime around the sea and also take a boat ride. Very clean and can be busy at holiday periods. Not enough parking in the area so have that in mind when visiting. Overall was a great experience. Recommended if you are looking for a place to just sit outside, take in the air around the water or take a boat ride

miserable unhappy employees..... maybe my partner and I visited twice on off nights but both of my experiences here I was greeted by people that just did not want to be at work. Both times feeling as if I was burdening them just by simply being there and placing an order. The kitchen staff put out some great tasting fish dip and fried shrimp but the people working the window dealing with the paying guests were absolutely miserable.

I’m not sure what happened to this place or what management is doing, but the bar constantly has a line a mile long. I timed it and it was literally 15 minutes to get a drink. And it wasn’t even busy or crowded. This is a great spot and location and they could do so much more with it. They also added this new handicap parking that is painted white with white stripes, so you can’t even tell where or how you should park in the spot. This place was a lot cooler before they remodeled and went full corporate. Bright fluorescent lights, they took down all the old patrons pictures and memorabilia. Fun fact: The renovation of the sail pavilion took longer than it did for the new JW Marriott to go up directly behind it.

We love the Sail Plaza and the neighboring Big Rays :) Aside from the food, drinks and service being wonderful, this team puts up the greatest Halloween decorations in the city. I took a few photos the other day when they started to set them up.

Stopped in a few times, cool spot for a quick cocktail on the water, right next to the convention center so very convenient. Also on point with the Halloween decor 👍🏼🎃💀

Great spot tons of seating. First come first serve for seating with a walk up bar. Views are great and the atmosphere is super laid back. Prices are fine not cheap but not extortion either, think 6 bucks for a pint. There is a seafood restaurant next store (not all seafood) where you can order from. It's rare we visit Tampa without visiting The Sail.

We really enjoyed this girl today, and the cocktails were great, the sunset and the view were awesome!
