Excellent food and service. Good sized portions. Fun atmosphere. Reasonable prices.

Ok. Look. This place is one of those rare spots where you can get good, wholesome, filling , and TRUE Irish pub grub. Prices are decent, staff is attentive, food is delicious. I'm shocked this place isn't busier on a Friday afternoon. People, GET here, it's good!

Just came in here for a black and blue during a hot Saturday afternoon. We did not eat here, but the food that came out looked and smelled amazing! Will have to stop by for food soon.

Local neighborhood pub, lots of English pub food. Bangers n mash to smoked meats and lovely staff.

I visited on a Sunday evening from out of town and was not disappointed. I saw poutine on the menu and was sold on stopping by for dinner. Absolutely amazing! The haddock chowder was also phenomenal. The bar had a nice selection of alcohol as well. Came in and was seated and helped right away. Definitely will be returning! Keep up the good work Flanagan’s!

I have been here several times as I live locally! Went to celebrate a birthday in traditional Irish style and we had a blast! Drinks were wonderful music super entertaining and just a general Irish Pub atmosphere which is always upbeat and fun. I highly recommend if you're looking for just a local bar in the middle of tourist land!

I've only had 1 item from the food menu & that was the poutine. I'm a poutine lover so if I see it I order it. This place wasn't great. I probably wouldn't get it again. That said great COLD beer & good draft selection & the staff are very nice & on their game makes this place a good place to return to

They give 50% off drinks if you are in the service industry every Wednesday. The drinks are good. The bartender was the only one there and she still did an amazing job. The Irish tacos were dry, but the chocolate cake was good.

I love this Pub and the food is always good. Daily soups are excellent. Why so loud!!!! Two recent stops around 5pm and the music was so loud we had to yell at each other. I understand if it were later in the evening but for happy hour it was over the top.

It was spot on!! I highly recommend trying the grub and washing it down with ice cold beer.

Went for lunch and just split apps. They were all very good and the service was excellent! Was quiet inside with a few regulars, would go back and try more food for sure.

We always love coming here!!! The food is excellent! I love the corned beef sandwich! Good beer selection too! If you're ever in town for St. Patrick's Day, coming here is a must... They have beer trucks outside and it's a fun party!

Super friendly and delicious! Ashley was great! We have always missed going here since our Nikolai Papoochnik (pup) usually with us.( He was at Playcare) Excellent food and service. We popped in for a snack . So, we split the Poutine. Definitely can't wait to go back and try a meal.

The Reuben was tasty. The steak bites were very good also. But I feel the drinks are over priced. Other than that it's a cool spot.

We always find amazing food in Dundedin and Flanagan's did not disappoint! We arrived in town in time for dinner and it was very close to our B&B. Hubs got a Smithwicks and I tried the Banana Bread cocktail, which was delicious! I was going to try some Irish Nachos, which sounded tasty, but then noted their flatbreads were cauliflower crust and GF! They had a veggie option with whiskey fig cream sauce and it was out of this world. This will be my go-to Dunedin treat! My hubs ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, which he loved, and a side of potato salad, which he loved more. Our server was great and the atmosphere was perfect. Will return!

Gotta give us 5 stars if for no other reason, but to recognize how hard the bartender/waitress/host was working. She had the floor to herself and kept a great attitude despite being pretty darn busy. Kudos to her. The food was pretty darn tasty as well. My wife and I split the fries with Guinness gravy then we split the Shepherd's Pie. Both items were delicious! We hope to come back the next time we are in town.

We ended up here and had a fantastic time! All four of our food items were delicious and our server Brandy took care of us not only while we ate, but also as we hung out after. She was super and we had a great time! The live music was not too loud as some places are and was very entertaining. We loved everything about this place!

We had a large group on a very busy day. They were very accomodating.. The service was great!! The food was very good although the fish was greasy. Maybe because they were so busy and flinging food out as fast as they could. Regardless, it was a great dining & drinking experience! Sláinte!!

Went here to meet family to celebrate birthdays. It was my first time there...I liked the food. I had their Shepard's pie and the hubby had Fish n Chips. The outside wait was a bit obsurd, but in their defense they were busy. I do recommend as I did enjoy the food. The outside area was cute and someone was selling puppies this particular day.

Philadelphia transplant, looking for a local pub. Really cool spot. Music was great. Guest spot Wagon Wheel by the owner? Yep. Harp, Smithwicks and Guinness on tap. Yep. Bartender Brandi was aces. Definitely be back.

Typical Irish pub great prices and the food is really good my go to are the Irish tacos you can get 2 or 3 .. always get the 3 they are stuffed and spiceyyyyyy 🔥!!!!!!!!!

Irish pub in downtown that always seems to be pretty crowded, especially during festivals and events. We stopped in during the Dunedin Mardi Gras and it was packed but we were eventually able to get two seats at the bar. I had a Guinness draft and my girlfriend had a vodka tonic and we paid $11, so the price is definitely right. Aside from that, the bartenders were quick and attentive especially considering how busy it was. Will definitely stop in again when feeling Irish in Dunedin.

Not only does this place speak for itself as an Irish pub, but the Bangers and Mash were incredible. We were there on March 16th, the day before St. Paddy's, and a rep was in the place giving out swag and free Guiness. We had a blast! The staff are all amazing.
