Had a long wait to be seated. The hostess said it would be 5 minutes but 15 minutes we were still waiting. A woman explained they were short staffed and service would be slow for the night, which was fine by us. However the food was such a let down. I ordered the Kentucky Colonel Bowl and my daughter ordered chicken tenders. Both of our chicken was super chewy and difficult to eat. My bread was literally rock solid. I informed the waitress and then knocked on it to show her how hard it was. She brought another biscuit that was somehow harder than the first. We ordered a brownie sundae for dessert and no one told us it had peanut butter in it. The menu didn’t say anything about it containing nuts. My daughter has severe nut allergy so we asked the waitress if it had nuts in it and she said she wasn’t sure and we couldn’t tell considering the brownies were buried in ice cream. We informed her of our daughters nut allergy and we waited for her to go ask someone else if it had nuts. Meanwhile my daughters mouth was swelling confirming it did in fact have nuts and they didn’t think to include it on the menu or tell us. Smh. An all around disappointment.

Excellent service from Hunter tonight. He made sure our every need was attended to and you can tell he’s really putting in the work at the bar. Sure am going to miss Datz thanks to awesome servers like Hunter. I had the Fish-N-Chips and asked for bread, but they did even better and brought out two nice grilled pieces of thick toast. They decided they needed me to have the best of the best obviously. They’re really going out strong at Datz Tampa.

Okay so this place does not give its full glory for the modest appearance of outside. The food was excellent and the staff was above and beyond amazing. Justin was our server and we could not have asked for a better personality. Not to mention the bartender on the second floor (I never asked her name but you WANT her trust me) was willing to accommodate above and beyond she helped to create a Virgin cocktail for one of us that was just as Fabulous as she was. Overall I would absolutely recommend the food here. The pancakes were light and fluffy, the steak was done to order and juicy and the drinks well. You need the drinks here!

Great service and delicious food! One of the best burgers I've ever had! The grilled cheese for buns was very buttery and perfectly cooked! The meat was flavorful! Also ordered the Mac & cheese stuffed meatloaf.. amazing! Will definitely go back when I'm in the area. A bonus is that it's right next door to a dessert place.

Ate here on my birthday for brunch with my husband & kids. Food was good, portions were good. Loved my drink. Server was nice but busy so not much attention was given but that was pretty understandable for a Sunday during brunch. The kids menu was funny. Will eat here again if I'm visiting Tampa

We went for Sunday Brunch, which they have all day! The food was delicious and plenty! The staff was friendly and helpful! Plenty of indoor or outdoor seating and a huge menu of items to choose from. You won't be disappointed!

It was our first time going. Food was delicious, drinks were fun and also delicious. My husband eats meat and he loved his BBQ breakfast. They made the mac n cheese look like toast. I was so impressed. I had breakfast tacos and they were great with removing bacon and replacing it with mushrooms for me. Yummy.. 10 out of 10. Brunch was absolutely awesome and I can't wait to go back.

This was my first experience at Datz & would easily rate this one of the top restaurants I’ve been to since moving to FL a year ago. 10/10 on all accounts! Absolutely delicious food with plenty of options. (Pictured is the Kentucky Colonel Bowl) Service was attentive and helpful with decision making process & the restaurant itself is a site worth seeing. Thankful I got to stop in before they close down.

Overall great place to eat. The food was great, with large portions. Good variety for the brunch menu. Great atmosphere and decor. Fun mocktail options in addition to the drink menu. Options for both outdoor and indoor seating. The wait wasn't bad for roughly peak brunch time. The service was good, though the server and/or kitchen staff told us the carrot cake did not have raisins, but it did. Also the bathroom was a bit dingy and could have used a bit of cleaning/restocking.

Sat at the bar and had a delish sandwich. I had the blackberry margarita which was so tasty and I highly recommend. My friend had a double cheeseburger sandwiched between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches! Yes, he ate the whole thing!

Would be more like 3.5. The server and ambience was really pretty and there is a cute outdoor area. Ordered the cheese grits and burnt ends. The grits were tasty and the beef was okay but seemed like it was cubed beef than actual burnt ends. My sis let me try her chicken and waffles and the waffles were good but it seems like seasoning was completely skipped on the chicken.

DATZ is amazing!!! Never had mac and cheese bites but would definitely have them again. 😋. The mimosa pitcher was a great size. We got the omelet with gouda cheese, and the shrimp and grits. the firecracker sauce was extremely good. Would definitely recommend. The environment along with the staff was very welcoming.

Deja served up the most delicious burger. Layers and layers of flavor. Mac and cheese buns perfectly cooked with burger juices dripping down. Love it. Great service from Deja always. She is a great part of your team.

We ate here for lunch and ordered the Rogers Reuben, donut beyond burger and the meatloaf. Everything came out great except the meatloaf. It was burnt. They replaced it with the mac and cheese bun burger. That was good but lacking flavor. All and all the food was really good and if they watch how well the meatloaf is cooked it would get a 5 star!

Great decor and atmosphere with a very diverse menu with lots of unique and flavorful choices. Visit the bakery next door, Dough, for an amazing after dinner treat. Crazy twists on old favorites such as macaroni-and-cheese stuffed meatloaf.

Food is good but I have to say that, based on the reviews I read before, I was waiting for that wow factor and didn't get it. However I believe that it had something to do with our waiter who is the bartender and honestly he really didn't seem that invested in waiting on us or any of the other tables, he barely showed up to check on us. Though I have to give him credit because he had a nice gesture at the very end but still, at this point I had already made my mind about this place. Regarding the food, my chicken was great and the burger you see in this picture, the one with the cheese was really interesting, I wish I'd had a suggestion or something at the beginning to know what other meals looked like that. In general the atmosphere is chilled and cool, I would definitely recommend this place to stop and have a good meal.

I can not rave about this place enough. The food, the service and the atmosphere were all amazing! I can't wait to go back. I know this sounds crazy, but try the Brussels sprouts. They are a delicious bacony delight.

It's a good sign if you eat at a place twice in one day. Enjoyed the Bob's Cobb salad at lunch, but I really wanted to try the Cheesy Todd while in town. When previous dinner plans fell through I found myself back at Datz, bellied up to the bar enjoying a cheeseburger with fried mac'n cheese for a bun...what's not to love!?!? Great staff; reasonably priced; definitely recommend - 10/10.

Great food. Service is awesome as well. Place is very popular so be prepared for a wait most times to be seated. Food is definitely worth the wait though

As an avid foodie, this restaurant was extremely disappointing. I will say that the atmosphere is nice but that’s not all a patron should pay for. Based on prior reviews I expected the food to wow me and it did the opposite. As you can see in the photos my donut was not fluffy/moist/or sugary. The chicken was warm but that’s about all. I expected my waitress to address this issue but she did not. I would never allow a customer to leave a restaurant with a full plate of food. That should have been an indication that the food was inedible or not satisfactory. Today was my first visit but will also be my last.

Really happy we chose this place for lunch, the experience was fabulous from the hostess to the food and everything in between. We had the April in Paris with bacon sandwich as well as the chicken and waffle, absolutely delicious. Recommended

I don't see how this place has so many good reviews. The people are nice and great service but the food is just horrible! The fried potatoes were cold and soggy(out of a bag definitely not fresh) Bacon was hard like it has been sitting out. Just gross! Our waiter was amazing though.

We sat outside on Saturday around noon and received the brunch menu as an option for food. It would be 20-30 minutes to wait for indoor seating- so we opted for outdoor seating with no wait since we have children. Kids meals are $10 each - see menu items in photo. One child got chicken tenders which had 3 large and tasty chicken tenders, fruit, cookie and drink. Our other child got 4 pancakes, sausage and drink - definitely not worth $10. Wish I had noticed his meal didn’t come with any other sides (husband took care of ordering kids meals ;) - I got the surfs up - disappointed for $20 it truly was just 5-6 shrimp, 2 large chicken tenders and French fries in a basket - definitely overpriced as well. I was hoping it was a nicer entree for the price - not fried food in a basket. My husband’s Ruben was pretty good and he paid for extra meat on his sandwich. Over all nice outdoor seating and alright food, but nothing amazing like we were hoping for.

Stopped here on our way to Indian Rocks Beach. We had the XXX grilled cheese with homemade chips, the Kentucky Colonel chicken bowl and 2 orders of eggs barbacoa. Everything was excellent and our server Elizabeth was incredible and very attentive

Very fun place to eat! The menu is big and some very unique items. The wings and pretzel stick were both excellent. My wife and I each had burgers and then we ordered the hot chicken served on a donut to try. Great burgers, the chips with the dressing are a great compliment. The hot chicken donut was good but glad I didn’t order it as my only dish. They also own the bakery next door called Dough which we actually bought dessert from but brought back to Datz bc the wait staff was much more fun

Delicious high quality food and still affordable! The chips are amazingly thin, crispy, lite, airy, sugary, and salty with a hint of BBQ flavor. I'm from Albuquerque, so of course I had to try the Albuquerque burger. It was very tasty, high quality burger meat that was well cooked and the green chili, which is nearly impossible to find in Florida, was a nice flavored mild spice. I understand it's not the green chili spice Olympics here so I'm definitely okay with just the slight spice and green chili flavor. Great tasting cake pops as well. A nice modern, slightly steampunk, type of interior, very unique and cool. Definitely deserves the high rating, give it a try!

Had a great lunch experience! Our server was super nice & helpful. Definitely service with a smile. Portions are generous here especially with the French toast! A must visit when in Tampa.

Surprisingly GREAT FOOD. Thought it was just a Beer and Greasy Burger Joint. They DO have a nice Selection of Beer and Cider and Other Drinks. I REALLY enjoyed the "Paris in Spring" Sandwich...my Buddy had the Salad with Salmon...and enjoyed it also! May sound Crazy...but their Fries were the best I ever ate...AND they had these hand shaved chips with the Sandwich...WOW! Friggin DELICIOUS! You need to try this place. They have made the Ordinary...EXTRAORDINARY! 🤩

Deliciousness and a little slice of South Tampa Heaven. One of our favorite spots to visit in the area for unique eats and scrumptious treats. Love everything about Datz Bougie Brunch. Thank you to all the staff for being fabulous as well!!! ❤️

Cool menu and yummy drinks. Had this fun Mac and cheese bun burger. Definitely couldn’t eat it in one sitting! The (I think Kelly Kapowski) cocktail I got was super good, it didn’t even make it into the photo. Parking in the back lot can be limited.

Had a great time! Wonderful atmosphere, excellent service. Different menu that will satisfy about anyone. Food was very good. Our server was attentive but not over bearing.

Atmosphere is great. Service was ok. I order a steak salad, steak was cooked the way I ordered but the lettuce was a brown-ish. My husband order Tampa Burger was good. Very Over priced food!

Went to Datz for Tampa Burger Week. Tried two burgers, the Albuquerque and Andy's Grilled Cheese Burger. The grilled cheese burger was amazing. The Albuquerque dissapointed. The only thing in the burger that gives it it's name are the hatch chili's and they put so little of it in the sandwich that you can not taste them at all. Indoor, outdoor and bar dining available. They have takeout, curbside and dine-in. The breakfast menu looks promising as do many of the dishes on the menu. Highly recommend!! Just don't order the Albuquerque.
