This place is top notch for brunch. I went on Sunday and there were lots of fancy people in nice dresses and cool attire. We had to wait for our table so I hung out in the Champagne Room enjoying fine cocktails. Order the feta with naan on the small plates menu, it’s a flavor explosion in your mouth. Service here is stellar and the food hits.

Oxford Exchange is a true gem! The elegant atmosphere, coupled with exceptional service, creates a memorable dining experience. The diverse menu caters to various tastes, and each dish is a culinary delight. From brunch options to afternoon tea, the quality and presentation are consistently top-notch. The ambiance, characterized by timeless decor and a bookstore, adds a unique charm. A must-visit for those seeking a delightful and sophisticated culinary journey.

One of the more unique locations in all of Tampa. It’s a restaurant, coffee bar, champagne bar, bookstore, sunglasses store, and event space all in the same location. The bookstore is very distinct and has a wonderful selection. It’s architectural and interior design style is very unique and reminiscent of early 1900’s New York City, Art Nouveau style. The ambience is socialite and sophisticated. One of my favorite places just to hangout for a while having some coffee and to people watch. The food is served with an elegant presentation, it is fresh, and overall excellent. Be prepared to spend more than you would for breakfast, but the entire experience is well worth it. The bookstore hosts intimate events with book authors that are very pleasant and provide the option for patrons to engage in a different way.

I took my daughter here for her 30th birthday, her waitress was so kind and attentive. It made our experience incredibly special. The food was great and the steak sandwich was the best. Definitely make reservations or come during the week because the weekends are happening here.

The Oxford Exchange is a fun concept in Tampa. They have an area to make/pour candles (make reservations), a bookstore, a gift shop, a tea bar, a coffee bar, a champagne bar, and a fabulous restaurant. The whipped feta appetizer, served with warm Naan with toasted pistachios, honey, and micro greens, is a 10! The steak sandwich was warm and delicious. The Oxford Exchange is an excellent place for a date or a girl's brunch. Highly recommend!

Just a beautiful setting to enjoy some great food. We sat in the atrium area. We tried a few different items. My favorite was the Whipped Feta. A perfectly whipped feta with olive oil and pistachios. The combination seemed odd, but it was so delicious. We tried the cinnamon bun, avocado wedges, and the fried chicken sandwich. All were tasty. This place was very busy even on a Monday for brunch so make sure you get there early.

Beautiful place, a little overwhelming when you first walk in. There's mini booth style stores setup on the inside on both sides. We were going to have brunch but it was hard to find the restaurant. Really neat and it was good to visit and check it out.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at OE. I cannot express how happy we are that we chose this venue. We got so many compliments from our guests about the aesthetic, the service from the OE staff, the food and the drinks. The staff genuinely had a smile on their faces the whole night and looked like they actually enjoyed being there and tending to the guests. That made me really happy to see too. The guests would not stop talking about how amazing the food and drinks were. It was such an exceptional night overall thanks to the OE staff. And lastly our event coordinators, Carolina and May May made sure everything went perfect. I cannot thank you all enough. It was such a perfect night and I will forever remember you all for what you did for us.

Delicious food! Everything about it was great: the presentation, the quality, and the blending of flavors. Our server Emma did a wonderful job. The tea was so tasty and I appreciate the knowledge of the gentleman who was selling it. We had the club and the burger with Lavender Citrus Sage tea. Also, the cinnamon roll.

This is my second time coming here in Tampa. The first time we got a coffee and lunch and today we just stopped by for some coffee a little shopping and headed out on the town. I love the old style renovation it has that great old time feel to it with the building and decorations they picked. Many places to take pictures and enjoy. It won't be my last time visiting. Clean and very nice.

The food was amazing. The atmosphere is truly gorgeous and a place every local and Tampa visitor should see! Drinks were also 10/10 and such a creative cocktail menu!! That being said, my boyfriend and I visited for our anniversary and had a tab of over $120 and were excited to try more things on the menu. We had made a reservation and wanted to really soak up the environment. After only two hours of cocktails and a few bites of food, our waitress just drops off the check on the table... We were really confused because we didn't want to leave? And she didn't ask if we wanted our check or even a box as we weren't finished with our food. I understand it's a busy place and people were waiting to be seated but we made a reservation and shouldn't have been pushed out because there are others without a reservation waiting... Very unprofessional and frankly rude. I had another bad experience with one of their batistas as well.. Really disappointing as it's a great place but I don't feel welcome there or that it's worth the price considering how you're treated. On the bright side, here's a pretty picture of their cocktails.

We're not from here so I looked around and this place was featured in 2 articles so I had to check it out. Was an hour wait for a table for 2, not bad at all! (Especially considering we just showed up and got on the list for lunch) Super cute and elegant place, which goes along with the entire building (Champagne Bar, shops, coffee shop, tea shop). $10 to park in the lot across the street. Service was amazing. I was so impressed about how organized and efficient they all were! There was definitely a system in place and it works! Food was absolutely delicious (fish tacos, grilled cheese and tomato soup - best grilled cheese and tomato soup we've ever had!). Once we were seated then ordered then ate and left, it had only been about an hour, very impressive. You have the option of paying right at your table by phone (scanning bar code on bill). Absolutely worth the wait!! Is a must when visiting this area!

First time at OE and we will be back. We enjoyed our food, only complaint the breakfast taco could use a little less egg and more sausage. The mimosas were delicious. The atmosphere is really nice. Good for a date or just a great time with friends!

Great experience. 👍 I would highly recommend, but be sure to get your reservations in advance... the place was fully booked. Staff were nice and helpful. Cammy was our server and she was very sweet and attentive. We enjoyed the brunch menu Omelet for me and Eggs Benedict for babe. Eggs were perfectly poached and delicious. I agree food was great and I enjoyed the breakfast potatoes. They were cut paper thin and had a nice crunch and were seasoned well. We also enjoyed a few drinks from the champagne bar... passion in the afternoon is the drink i tried which got better as you go along. The raspberry sorbet melts so you get more flavor toward the end. Babe got the the champagne cocktail which had sugar at the bottom... which remained at the bottom even after a gentle stir... drinks were strong. We ordered the double cappuccino from the coffee bar which was also super strong and did not disappoint. The one feedback I have for OE is that it is VERY loud in the dining room. The voices are so echoing off the wall I found it difficult to carry on a conversation. I would suggest something soft to absorb the noise and prevent the reverberating. We look forward to our return visit for afternoon tea... british afternoon in Florida.

It is a nice place to come for a casual meal or even something special. There's a bookstore, coffee shop, champagne room, and even a sit-down restaurant. All areas were busy on the Saturday afternoon. We had made a reservation for the restaurant on Open Table and we were seated right away. The service was fast and friendly. The menu was basically the same as The Library in St Pete which is also amazing so I wasn't surprised at how good the food was. I tried the fried chicken sandwich. It was crispy & well seasoned on the outside and juicy on the inside. The only problem was that the crispy skin began to slide off the chicken as soon as I took a bite of the sandwich. It tasted great but the process was not pleasant to have to "rebuild" the sandwich while eating. Something in their frying method needs to change to make this a true fried chicken sandwich. The earl gray lavender lemonade was special and refreshing.

This is my new brunch spot! Oxford Exchange truly impressed during my brunch visit. The atmosphere exudes sophistication, complemented by a diverse menu filled with delightful options. The attentive service adds to the overall experience, making it my top choice for a refined yet relaxed brunch in Tampa. Solid five stars.

Great place and atmosphere! Highly recommend! But make sure you make a reservation in advance specially if you are going with a big party! Ive tried to go twice around the new years and both times the place was fully packed and needed a reservation first but it’s worth the wait. The Staff were nice, professional and very cheerful! The food quality was really amazing! The whipped feta is a must! The egg Benedict was so tasty! We also tried the steak and egg and the smoked salmon dip! If you are in Tampa and in the mood for a nice breakfast/brunch this is the spot you shouldn’t miss!

One of my favorite spots for breakfast! The atmosphere, decor, cleanliness, quality of food and the staff make this the best experience every time! 10 out if 10! This morning Cami served us, she was the nicest person and we just felt so welcomed and taken care of! Whatever it is upper management is doing, keep it up! 🙌🏻 @your_homegirl_jenny

First time at OE and it was lovely! We made a reservation and parked in the lot upon arrival. Walking in it’s a surprisingly beautiful and hip building. The restaurant is a little noisy but not too bad, the atmosphere is still great! Between the three of us at the table, we each ordered an alcoholic beverage, a cold brew coffee, and four entrees. Total plus tip was $130 which is less than what I’ve spent for two people at previous places so I was pleased lol!! Our server Ryan was very attentive, made great suggestions, and was clear spoken (I have a difficult time hearing people when there’s a lot going on and I did not have this issue with him so that was awesome!)

The food was great! It was on the pricier side but I really enjoyed the french toast, fish tacos, and whipped feta. My only complaint is that if you sit indoors, it is extremely loud, so not a good place for business meetings. The bookstore and and overall building is beautiful and nice for brunch. We waited 40 min past our reservation time, but the building was worth exploring.

This place was packed but definitely worth the wait. This place have a book store, coffee/ tea shops, and baker alongside the actual restaurant. The decor and spacing was well though and just gorgeous. My waitress took her time to explain the menu and gave me great recommendations. My food was amazing and I actually order food to go. If you're looking to take a date out this place is great option. It can be a little loud but overall it would be a great experience. I'll definitely be back.

This Hass to be one of the most gorgeous places to get a coffee or go for brunch or lunch! There are many sections of this large space, including a fully indoor dining area, and indoor dining area that has a glass ceiling, a super high ceiling area, just for coffee with an abs or a space as well, a large spacious And gift shop with super beautiful items and a historical hallway. Everything is beautiful and tailored to perfection! They have a wide selection of coffee and tees, both of which I’ve enjoyed. I’ve tried their grits, which, for a fine, their truffle mac & cheese, which is excellent, and their French toast, which was, one of the best I’ve ever had. The French us is super sickly sliced sourdough that already has cinnamon in it so it is super saver! And the service is also very friendly and helpful. Even love to go boxes are super cute! How could I forget the champagne bar? The cocktail Lost and beverages are awesome

UPDATE: See a new photo of my favorite Special Table for two. Proposal perfect? YES! Oxford Exchange is an enchanting respite from urban Tampa. I recommend their loose leaf teas steeped to perfection and their sourdough toast for dipping in their perfectly cooked sunny side up eggs. Their house made raspberry jelly was a treat as was the perfectly charred tomato side. Make sure to tea spoon the bubbles "money" out of your hot tea- it's tradition. Then, enjoy the serene setting of Orchids, trees and flowing fountains while you dine. Shop in their wonderful store while you're there or stop for a quick coffee or tea at their coffee bar. Thanks to Raya, Letty and Miranda who all contributed to my lovely time.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our brunch experience here! It’s absolutely beautiful AND the food is great! In my experience, you usually get one or the other but OE really delivered. I had the grits and added two scrambled eggs on the side for some added protein and it was very, very filling.

Quick Summary: If you are looking for a sophisticated establishment, this is your place! The Breakdown: Oxford Exchange presents as an upscale experience that left me feeling relaxed with a serene headspace. This place includes shopping, dining, and lounge spaces in one location. The building itself has two entrances, both offering unique shopping experiences from eye glass wear, a book store, household decor items, and apparel. Oxford Exchange also hosts Le Belle Tea Company, Buddy Brew coffee shop, and The Champagne Bar. A person could easily spend hours at this location. Dining Experience: The environment was clean and fresh, which is absolutely something you’d want when dining at a restaurant. The staff was very friendly and accommodating - truly seeming to want to make sure I had everything I wanted. The food itself was tasty and filling, but the next time I venture to this restaurant, I will be selecting different dishes to truly understand the expansiveness of their menu. Pro tip: When you arrive, park on the side where Punch Boxing is located. This side has easier parking on the street and a parking garage on Cedar Ave. Best Part: This place has it all to accommodate just about anyone. It truly is a one stop shop with an upscale vibe. Highly recommend!

We recently dined at this exquisite restaurant where we celebrated a momentous occasion. The ambiance was enchanting, the service impeccable, and each dish was a culinary masterpiece. From the delicate appetizer to the divine dessert cookies, it was a gastronomic journey that perfectly complemented the joyous atmosphere of our engagement. This establishment truly deserves a 5-star rating for creating an unforgettable experience that will forever be etched in our hearts.

Everything about this place was amazing. The books, the flowers, the candles, the coffee and tea and just the general ambience. Such an eclectic place with amazing style and features. We bought books and coffee, sampled tea and ate pastries. Perused the home store with quirky gifts and homewares. We loved everything about it.

Absolutely loved the brunch selection at Oxford! A friend and I perused the store front after visiting the champagne bar while waiting for our reservation. It’s such a quaint and cool spot! Brunch was delicious and very filling! We loved everything we had. The pancakes were extra sweet but excellent! Especially with the soft butter and warm syrup!

Beautiful place to explore, get coffee and buy a book. We decided to not eat at the restaurant because they had very few GF options available. The bathroom were absolutely amazing and the decor was gorgeous throughout the building.

I have never had perfect French toast. This is a place to try a crunchy not too sweet overpowering toast match with my bellini champagne. The menu is quite expensive for the food portion but the place is amazing, I love the glass covered courtyard, bookstore and coffee shops.

  • 4/5 Huan W. 2 years ago on Google
Very energetic and friendly staff. Elegant dinning ambience with both indoor and a yard style dinning area in the middle. Food tastes OK but the portion is very generous. I have to finish my pancake in two meals. They slide the receipt in a book, which is a cute touch. The other shops within the same building are worthwhile visiting as well. Overall 4-4.5/5.

We stopped in for a Wednesday afternoon brunch, and enjoyed one of the best meals of our stay in Tampa this week. The ambiance and energy of the restaurant is lively and elegant, but the food is the highlight. I can honestly say that the French toast was one of the best I’ve ever had. Not even close (and of course they use REAL maple syrup, which is a critical priority). Our waiter, Julian, was very attentive and helpful, which added to the experience. In addition to the French Toast, we highly recommend the Crispy Brussels Sprouts, Fried Avocado slices, whipped Feta with Pita, and Chicken Sandwich (which my son-in-law loved so much he was inspired to pick up our tab 😂🙌) Great spot!

We went on a Thursday morning, and while we made a reservation, we didn't need one as it wasn't too busy. We initially got a bit lost on where to enter as there's stores and a cafe before the hostess area and not really any signs. I got a caramel latte and it was excellent! Opted for the omelet while my husband got the lemon poppyseed pancakes. You get a great portion of food. His came with 5 full size pancakes and we were surprised at how much food it was. The pancakes were hands down the best part of the meal. I kept stealing a bite from his plate. My omelet was also very good, the potatoes were seasoned well and the omelet was balanced with flavor and ingredients. Overall, a great choice for a breakfast/brunch spot.

  • 4/5 Sergio Flores V. 5 months ago on Google
Overall, great rustic historical spot. Champagne bar, couple coffee/drink spots and another drink area in the back entrance. And of course the restaurant. Had the OE bloody mary, French toast, and the roasted potatoes. Bloody Mary was great ,had the spicy option, good flavor not too strong just right. French toast was good, a little on the sweeter side but not bad. Crust had a nice toast to it and inside was fluffy. Potatoes not the best, almost stale like. Reason for three on the food. I'm sure the tacos I was thinking of getting were much better. But that will be for another time.

Came here on a busy Sunday for brunch. I would recommend making reservations ahead of time before going on a busy day. We waited awhile past our reservations but we were seated where I requested out in the conservatory even though they had said on the phone that there were no guarantees . I took a star off only because it was a long wait and I don’t think they were very prepared for a busy day. However, the food was overall very good (the fries that came with my meal were super dry and over cooked) but the main course was very good. It’s a beautiful place and they had a decent book selection, as well as the tea being well made too. We will definitely come back!

Love this place! Perfect spot for a date or just to hang out. They have a book store, bar, and small coffee cafe. At the restaurant, the service was wonderful as well as the food. Although I wouldn't get the fried chicken sandwich again. The fish tacos are a must get. Decent portions and reasonable prices for both food and drinks.

Set in a historical Tampa building, the Oxford Exchange offers an exceptional dining experience. It's upscale, nostalgic flair, creates an entertaining atmosphere to compliment the well prepared dishes. The southern style Eggs Benedict, Fried Chicken Sandwich, and Mac and Cheese with Truffle, were superb. Prices were a bit higher than most, yet worth it. For brunch, avoid the pancakes and french toast, as the savory options will exceed expectations.

An absolute must try. I was in town visiting a friend and it was suggested that this had to be our first meal spot. Great advice. Breakfast, brunch, lunch or whatever. Book store, candle pouring, coffee spot, I believe a juice bar and more. Gorgeously stunning building with beautiful light and bright dining area featuring tall ceilings and white washed bricks. There was a nice covered courtyard area, too. The food was delicious. We had a caviar starter and a side of brussel sprouts - both excellent. I had the breakfast tacos and a delicious spicy margarita.. or two.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. The attention to detail is amazing. The steak sandwich is to die for as well as their truffle mac that was recommended by our waitress. Professional staff all well dressed. We will be back.

Unique Experience!!! Loved the decor and walking through the various market offerings. Very relaxing vibes. The brunch was top-notch. The pancakes were out of this world. Tons of flavor and very fluffy. Egg tacos were also really good with sweet potato fries. Second visit - pretty good burger with sweet potato fries. The grits were top notch. Parking is a bit of a pain. Staff were all very welcoming.

This place has a variety of things for everyone. They offer tea, coffee and I think Champaign. The food is good. They offer standard staples, that just seem elevated. The whipped feta is amazing! The bruscle sprouts were wonderful!however the eggs Benedict is a bit salty as well as the potatoes that come on the side with it. The biscuit that comes with it is so fluffy, fresh and rich. It was the star of the dish! Parking can be hard. There are some spots on the street but there is a parking lot across from the building that I think you have to pay for. It is not super kid friendly as they don’t have a kids menu or really cater to children.

I was really looking forward to my visit today, but there were a few things that made it a not so spectacular visit. The menu looked amazing and I've seen people eat great things here before, but my sweet potato fries and seasonal salad were not great. The chicken on the salad tasted very tough like it was from a store-bought package instead of cooked fresh (you can see in the photo). Maybe that's how they intend the salad to come but my friend has gotten the same salad before and it looked way different. My sweet potato fries were also very crispy and not tender/thick as I had seen before as well. The decaf espresso martini was lovely I will say, but overall I would love to come back and retry the experience I've seen other people have.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! If I could give 10 stars I would. From when we first walked in we could not stop looking at the walls, the decor, the furniture, everything! Even the bathrooms were gorgeous! When we finally got to the restaurant portion of the venue we were amazed at the customer service. Our waitress, Sarah, was so knowledgeable about the menu and her recommendations were just as spot on! Everything was absolutely delicious. Even her knowledge of the history of the building was amazing ! Can’t say enough good stuff about Sarah! Give her a raise! Afterwards we got a pastry from the coffee shop and the barista was extremely pleasant and helpful with assisting us make coffee decisions. We also stopped on the gift shop to get a few items and the ladies inside were SO nice. As you can tell I loved the customer service. This is now one of my fave happy places and I can’t wait to come back to Tampa and visit again!

This place is named one of the best brunch places for a reason. We ordered a variety of food and all of them were a hit. The tea was also nice and you can take it to-go if you don't finish. Only issue is that you may need to reserve in advance because the wait can get very long.

  • 5/5 Justine B. 8 months ago on Google
So beauitful inside! Definitely suggest reservations, especially on busy days. The champagne bar is so cute and has amazing drinks. Took my brother here to celebrate their engagement, and all of the food was so good. Everything we ordered was exceptional, and I will be coming back to try some more. The other areas were fun too! It was nice having a champagne and wandering the books and store areas. I noticed people studying here, if you're okay with a lot of people walking around you while you study, maybe a good spot? Always love TeBella as well, very convient I can pickup my earl grey lavender in there.

What a lovely venue, so much natural light. We had an excellent brunch. I'll start with the Bloody Mary, oh, I was so happy when my waiter asked how spicy. And the food... The lemon poppyseed pancakes were outstanding! I'm sort of "eh" about pancakes but these were fabulous. The service was friendly, attentive and though there was quite a wait, we never felt rushed. If you don't have reservations, it's worth the wait and you can shop while waiting.

More than I expected at a brunch spot. I traveled to come here, and it was worth the drive. The concept and the many different activities you can explore here are what grabbed my attention the most. Food was good but the decor and the atmosphere are even better. I would recommend it to visit if you like to explore new things.

Very European style, with great food and service. Unfortunately, we didn’t make a reservation on time for breakfast, but worth waiting for the next call until lunch. The Tuna salad and the smoked salmon dip were so delicious!

This is a good brunch spot to try out every once in a blue moon but I wouldn’t say this is somewhere you’d want to go often. Food was good but no where near worth the cost. Service was good but the atmosphere although it is atheistically pleasing was wayyyyy to loud. Giving it more of a cafeteria feel in the dining area and less of that upper scale brunch spot feel.

definitely a MUST if you are in the Tampa area. Beautiful and unique restaurant where you can enjoy a meal, coffee or a drink in a book store. The place is really well set up. Sam was our server today and he was phenomenal! We had the whipped feta, crispy avocado, the steak sandwich, the chorizo breakfast tacos, the crispy chicken sandwich, and several different drinks and we loved it all. Super classy and unique place, reminded me immediately of parts of London and Paris. The ambiance was *chefs kiss* Sam went above and beyond and, also working in the f&b industry, we just want him to know how much we appreciated him and his positive demeanor. Even when he wasn’t serving us, he was always ready for service. Top notch, dude. You have my respect and, because of you, we’ll definitely be back multiple times. Thanks again!

We had a lovely wedding at the Oxford Exchange and decided to have brunch there before we left town. Brunch is perfection here! I had a champagne cocktail which was not too sweet and not too bitter. The coffee from buddy brew is so delicious we bought five bags to bring home! We had the smoked salmon bagel, pancakes and truffle Mac and cheese. All were superb. Look forward to returning for our anniversary in a year. Such a special place!

Food is tasty (but can be a bit heavy depending on the entree) & service was pretty excellent; great decor & ambiance overall. Parking in downtown can be a bit of an issue at times but a great experience is overall; would like to stop by for a happy-hour or dinner next time…
