Haven is an amazing restaurant. It's definitely for a particular person. I enjoyed all of my food and so did my husband. I'd say the drinks are more on the masculine side but were so cool. The brussel sprouts salad was literally the best salad I've ever had. Our waiter was superb and didn't miss a beat. He made the night perfect, the ambience was perfect.

Wow! Definitely a place that impresses on every level. I was lucky enough to get a last minute reservation on a Friday night sitting outside and it was absolutely gorgeous. The ambiance and coolness with my perfectly crafted cocktail made it that much more romantic for a date night. Every single thing on the menu, especially the options for charcuterie are impressive. I recommend the BBQ oysters as that was a treat and never had anything like it before. Don't skip out on dessert as that was the best part! Service was amazing as well as the bourbon selections. This is your place to wine and dine in the Soho area for sure!

We came here to celebrate a family birthday and it was absolutely delicious! Our server Brie was on point with menu explanations and making sure we got everything on time. The beef spare ribs were my favorite but absolutely everything on our table was good. The mac & cheese was our favorite side dish. They even gave us a champagne toast because we were celebrating a birthday! We can’t wait to come back again!

Attended a bourbon event here and got the chance to meet the Master Blender for Uncle Nearest. The staff was very accommodating, from the valet, to the reception desks when we lost a cell phone. I so loved this event and Haven was a perfect spot for it as they feature over 300 bourbons to choose from. The appetizers paired nicely with the two cocktails and the tasting of 1884 and 1856.

Good not great. A little bit underwhelmed. We ordered many different dishes but none really stood out. Cocktails were good and service was mediocre. We had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful waiter assistant- Kaitlyn who was a true delight.

Excellent service and spectacular food. You just try the Brussel sprouts salad, the duck hearts, the octopus, the cheeses, bbq oysters, halibut, and olive oil cake - omg! Delish! And awesome drinks. Dined here twice already. Affiliated with Berns, but so much easier to get in, and have a fantastic dining experience which is what it’s all about these days!

Haven is a bit too yuppie for me. They utilize the small plate, shared dishes concept, where you are supposed to order multiple dishes for the table. This would be fine but you are paying standard plate prices. My halibut was $26 and my wife's filet $44. For the price, the halibut really felt like a exceptionally tiny portion that was mainly a lettuce dish. The filet was good but everything else was fairly underwhelming. Appetizer: Finocchiona Salami Entrees: (1) Lemon Rosted Halibut (2) Bern's Filet Mignon Atmosphere/Decor: Gorgeous and open. Very classic steakhouse look. Server Attentiveness: Average Food Wait: Quick. Cost/Value: felt high doe the size of the dishes. The salami appetizer was a good value.

Yesterday we had one of the best dinners since we moved from NY to Tampa in Haven. My drink was the hi, boo boo, and it was so good. Their oysters are super fresh and they already have a sauce - a nice and delicious kick. Next thing was the coal grilled octopus and it was so amazing. The potatoes that came on this dish had a nice crisp outside and they were so tender inside. We also tried the duck heart with cheese quinoa. The duck heart was PHENOMENAL, it tasted like fillet mignon. I did not try the quinoa because I am allergic (bummer), but my husband tried and he said that this was the best quinoa he ever tried. My main dish was a snapper with crab dumplings. SO AMAZING. For desert, we asked for the olive oil cake with white chocolate, berries and vanilla ice cream - such a fine desert and the best way to end our dinner. I absolutely loved our host (I didn't get his name, sorry 😥) and he explained all the plates in detail. The restaurant is beautiful inside. This is a keeper, and you should go to Haven as soon as you can!!

Haven is far and above one of our favorite Date Night spots in Tampa Bay and beyond. We absolutely love creating our own board (with server's suggestions- which are always 150% on point), the "bread and fat", the Tacos, the fried brussels sprout salad, the desserts...but also the flawless atmosphere and the unbelievably friendly staff. Last evening on 2/22/23, we went to Haven for 6:45 dinner reservations. We chose Haven to celebrate our 22nd Wedding Anniversary- and could not have made a better decision. I had emailed the restaurant prior to our arrival to request a booth and maybe "a candle on our dessert." What happened when we arrived left us absolutely astonished. This was the most precious Anniversary experience of our lives. From the hostess, to our wonderful server, Maddie, and MULTIPLE other members of the Haven team, too many to count, each person arrived at our booth (which was in a quiet corner of the restaurant- so sweet!) to ask if we needed anything else and to wish us a "Happy 22 year Anniversary". We were greeted with a Champagne Toast and our meal was ended with a Sparkler Candle which came out with our favorite dessert, the Olive Oil Cake, and two delicious cappuccinos. Our boards at Haven are always 10/10 but Maddie's suggestions just tipped the scale last night. The Iberico Ham, the Wagyu, the Culatello (my favorite) and the best cheeses to pair with them! Absolutely flawless. The bread and fat, as well as the shaved beef tacos were phenomenal, as well. We had been meaning to try both in prior visits and oh my goodness- we have been missing out!!!!! At 50 years old- I tried my first ever martini, and the Espresso Martini was AMAZING! My husband loved the Old Fashioned, as well. Haven will always feel like home, but now, they feel like FAMILY. We are just two local Health Care Workers who love good food...but you made us feel like VIPs- and we will never, ever forget our special night. Thank you Haven, as ESPECIALLY Maddie!

This place was so delicious, we came in twice in one week. So impressed with the quality of food and the ambiance. I have been a fan of Bern's Steak House since 2015, however, we have never eaten at their sister restaurant. Last week was our 1st time visiting Haven. It was our son's birthday and we decided to try this restaurant featuring New American small plates, wine & cocktails as per recommendation of my friend. Tuna Sashimi, Hamachi Sashimi, Shaved Beef Taco, Seared Foie Gras, Cheese platter and Coal Grilled Octopus as appetizers were all 10/10. As for the main course we opted in for Glacier 51 Sea Bass (O.M.G.), Arctic Char, 8oz Filet Mignon (perfectly trimmed) and 10 oz Dry-Aged Strip. Drinks, 'Margarita', 'Lemon Drop' and 'Moscow Mule', were good as well with the exception of the 'Duck Duck Jeep' (it was an odd one). We did not try their desserts (both times) as 1st time visiting we brought a cake for our son's birthday, however, we were never super impressed with Berns' dessert room. I know it may sound weird to many as they are known for their desserts, but truthfully, we have had desserts at other local restaurants that we prefer over Berns'. Service by Madeline K. was on point, however, she accidentally forgot to place the main course item for our birthday boy, so he ended up getting his filet about 15 minutes after everyone else received their meals. It did not spoil our night as she brought out the cake with large candle with sparkles and it was fantastic! Our son was so surprised and I was able to capture some awesome pictures of him with his cake and candles. Overall an excellent experience by everyone: valet guy, bussers, food runners, hostesses and the wait staff. We also appreciated the fact that we were seated at a larger table/couch with brighter lights vs more of a romantic, darker tables. Our second time we requested to sit outside which was nice as it was a pleasant evening. Haven's tacos are my husband's favorite in Tampa and we ordered 16 of them that night. If you are not up to dressing up in your best outfits, but would like a nice quality meal, Haven is your spot!

Very loud but otherwise good. Service fast, maybe a little too fast. We did the cheese monger plate 18 cheese and some macadamia nut ice cream. It was fantastic. Love their parent restaurant , Berns. But their cheeses were awesome. Could have used a few more accompaniments.

I have been wanting to try Haven for a hot minute so I decided to stop by for my birthday dinner and it was even more incredible than I imagined it would be. We sat on the patio because we intended on getting happy hour food and drinks but after seeing the main menu and the wine selection we opted for a shared bottle and some plates. There were three of us so we split the bread and fat (not pictured), beef fat mushrooms, lamb, gochujang beef, chicken thighs, and an espresso martini. Every single dish had ingredients that popped and made for a beautiful plate all while tasting even better than they looked (how is that even possible??). The mushrooms were perfectly tender and soaked in a fat/ garlic/ shallot sauce, the lamb was well-cooked and juicy with a slight mint flavor and a wild tomato hummus that leveled up the whole dish, the gochujang beef was the tables favorite due to the presentation and mouth feel- it was light and melted in your mouth leaving behind a pleasant spice and the bits of crunchies added a great texture as well. The chicken thighs were cooked to perfection with the crispy side up, the sauce was perfect and while I usually shy away from okra, it tied the ingredients together and made for a comforting dish. The espresso martini was SO good, beans included so you know they’re serious. Finally, our waiter was the best and helped us pick a tasty bottle of wine, you could tell he really knew his stuff and he even brought out a special bday surprise for me, then offered to help us find a spot in the Bern’s dessert room if we so desired (we couldn’t eat another thing but this was so kind). I will be coming back whenever I can splurge again and would recommend Haven to any food lover.

Our server, David, was a delight! He was both pleasant and extensively knowledgeable about all the items on the menu. It was definitely a unique dining experience, followed by dessert at its sister restaurant, Bern's Steakhouse. Truly a not-to-be-missed location when visiting the Tampa area. We did have a good laugh, however, about the 'valet' parking which was literally steps from the door! 😂🤣

This is a review from a visit last year I forgot to write. On a visit I was accidentally given egg in something after mentioning I had an egg allergy to my server. I have a horrible egg allergy after having a stem cell transplant. I called the manager when I got home and they were super apologetic and gracious. I was invited back by the manager on the house to redo the dinner. On the second visit - I was greeted by the manager, and was given the best meal ever and service ever! The manager made sure the chef personally re-checked my order to be allergen free as well! Haven I tip my hat to your delicious food and your exceptional service! 5 stars!

I think they had the best octopus tentacles I ever tasted. It was so soft and taste delicious. The snapper however was a little bit disappointing just a a little bit spicy sauce and made the taste overwhelming. The steaks were amazing tho.

Great place to dine. Incredible menu as would be expected being a sister of the Best Steak house in the country Berns. The Berns filet was cooked perfectly and the macadamia nut creme brulee was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Haven is my favorite restaurant in Tampa. I have always had great food and service here. Haven Happy Hour is a must try for everyone, get there early so you can get a seat because it fills up quick! The menu is full of so many delicious entrees and it's constantly rotating with new dishes. My favorite is their brussel sprout salad. It is SOOOOO good, I always get it when I am here. We also love their octopus it's so yummy and flavorful. We tried their A5 Wagyu beef tacos as an appetizer and it was melt in your mouth delicious. I loved the use of lettuce for the taco. The cheese board is never a bad choice, who doesn't love delicious cheese. Lastly, we tried a new dish on the menu, French onion risotto, it was creamy and so good. Haven is a MUST MUST try in Tampa. You'll see why I love it so much

Review: Haven, Tampa Florida My close friend took me here for my birthday for the first time, and it was indeed an amazing experience. As someone well-traveled (67+ countries) with experiences with some of the most unusual food products you can imagine and having dined with many Michelin-star chefs – I can truly say Haven is a 5-star experience. First – the Waiter. Daniel is AMAZING. I mean, truly amazing. He started by explaining the menu and how it’s a shareable tapas style. He was VERY confident in providing us with food that would create an experience with your palette. It was because of that confidence that I presented him with a challenge. I told him to take us through the best of the best of what Haven has to offer and curate the entire meal himself. He grabbed our menus immediately and said, “That was all you had to say.” He started our journey with the Chef’s Charcuterie board, where he took us on a delightful tour of some of the finest cheeses and meat from around the globe, handpicking 3 kinds of cheese and 3 types of meat from a selection of 6 different types of meat and 30+ different kinds of cheese. The board also had spicy mustard, honey, regular mustard, baby gherkins, pickled okra, and some amazing macadamia nuts. Next, he delivered 3 main dishes. Rabbit Kidneys served with cognac, dijon, brioche, and parsley. I have had some amazing exotic meats over the years, but haven’t truly delved into the culinary experience of the animal's insides. The world is filled with many ubiquitous dishes; however, the rabbit kidneys had the privilege of savoring stood out as a true delight. The chef's creativity and dedication to excellence transformed a humble organ meat into a gourmet delight that transcended expectations. Every aspect of the dish, from its exquisite presentation to its harmonious flavors, showcased the artistry of the culinary craft. Fried Brussels Sprouts Salad served with spinach, ricotta salata, orchard fruits, and quince vinaigrette. This salad is a shining example of how creative preparation can transform a seemingly ordinary vegetable into an extraordinary culinary experience. It had the perfect combination of texture, flavor, and balance, leaving you with a newfound appreciation for the versatility of Brussels sprouts. Whole Roasted Sea Bream Veracruz served with green olive, tomato, caper, jalapeno, and oregano. From the moment it graced the table, the Whole Roasted Sea Bream Veracruz was a sight to behold. The fish, beautifully cooked to perfection, arrived with a flourish of vibrant colors. Fresh herbs, tomatoes, olives, and capers adorned the perfectly roasted sea bream, creating an enticing and picturesque display. Lastly Dessert, Toasted Olive Oil Cake served with white chocolate, roasted blackberries, and smoked olive oil ice cream: Prepare your taste buds for a dessert experience that's nothing short of heavenly. The toasted olive oil cake, crowned with a scoop of rich caramel vanilla ice cream, is a delectable masterpiece that blends diverse flavors and textures into a sweet symphony that leaves you craving for more. In summary, if you're an adventurous diner looking to explore the boundaries of gastronomy, I wholeheartedly recommend trying this rabbit kidneys dish. It's a remarkable journey for the senses that will leave you with a newfound appreciation for the potential of even the most humble ingredients in the hands of a talented chef. This was truly a gastronomic adventure that tantalized our taste buds and left us craving for more. You must try this restaurant and certainly ask for Daniel for a real experience.

Will return: Buzzing. Brick 🧱 decor. Gilded bathroom. Very good food. Slow service. We sat by the painting 🖼️ the girl covering her eyes - looking around, I didn’t see says no evil and hears no evil 👿. The breads - oh heaven The Charcuterie: the prosciutto is very tender; goat cheese is yummy without being gamy, totally delicious. Grilled octopus 🐙 - excellent - tender Iberico secreto pork - so so Zucchini - very good, hint of mint Steaks 🥩 - so so. They asked for plain sauce Parking 🅿️ on site. We got 5:15 reservation but the lot was pretty full - we got the last spot. As we were leaving, a car returned to the lot waiting for us to exit. Bathroom 🚽 user flush; no seat paper.

We stopped in during Hurricane Idalia because thankfully Haven was open. Our food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. The Brussels Sprout salad was truly to die for. So creative and deliciously filling. We also got the pistachio pasta, the zucchini, and the pork tenderloin. All very good! The plating was beautiful too. The space was clean and decorated beautifully! Thank you to the staff for staying open.

Amazing service and food! We loved the outdoor patio and the fact they were so dog friendly was a huge plus for us. We've found a new favorite in Tampa! Highly recommend trying a bunch of smaller dishes to get to sample all the great food. Cheese and charcuterie selection is amazing as well! Drinks were outstanding too! And again all of the staff was so grear and friendly!!! We'll be adding Haven into our regular rotation.

This is an excellent restaurant to go for date night or a celebration. The service is superb. We ordered several small dishes and shared them. Our server gave us excellent recommendations, which we really enjoyed. This was a fine dining experience, and we will return in the future.

Among the best, creative restaurants across Central Florida. Originally Sidebern’s, a way for Bern’s to create a non-steakhouse restaurant. Bern’s will always be a steak house. Sidebern’s, now Haven, allows for maximum creativity with food. The drinks, the cheeses, one of the best happy hours!! Definitely a must go to restaurant in the region.

Ate here recently on a Saturday night for a double date with friends. We had a great time! It’s a cozy place, comfortable atmosphere, plenty of drink options, and DELICIOUS food. We had Riley/Rylee as our server who gave perfect service. Drinks never ran out, food all came out flawlessly, was helpful explaining the menu and concept to us when we said it was our 1st time. It was fun to order smaller plates, eat, then get to order more! Think tapas style but slightly bigger portions. We indulged in the escargot, salami charcuterie, Brussels sprouts salad, spicy Mac & cheese, seared scallops, spinach Campanelle, and beef tournedos - to say we left stuffed would be an understatement but there were too many good options! We also took a dirt pie to go. Haven will 100% be added to the “need to go back” list.

Gorgeous experience during our first time at Heaven. This restaurant is all you want for a fun night our with family or friends. The service is just amazing. The way I would define the food is comfort but with an artistic twist and it is just fantastic. Everything we tried was just perfectly prepared and well thought out.

Haven has a great vibe with options indoors (lot of energy) and outdoors (more intimate). The wait staff are consistently on point demonstrationing mastery of the menu, the restaurant, timing, and how to create the experience patrons desire. We have thoroughly enjoyed all the chef's creations and love having this reliable treasure in the Tampa Bay area.
