Was in a hiatus & now I’m back and hungry! In Tampa for the day and decided to try out @dailyeatstampa everything was really good! The chicken finger plate comes with two sides of your choice & the “cap’n cluck” which was French toast with a captain crunch exterior with chicken tenders and scrambled eggs on top (I asked for my eggs on the side) Overall nice little brunch!

Simple food that packs some flavor- Daily Eats is an easy-going title for a restaurant that matches the vibes and makes it fun. This is exactly the kind of restaurant you’d expect to find in SoHo of Tampa- trendy, young, and busy. We came for brunch and it was hip-hopping. The menu was even young and fun- there is Captain Crunch fried chicken among other unique options. Our food was good. It wasn’t fancy or high quality necessarily but it tasted fantastic, especially the sweet cereal coated chicken (it actually works well) mixed with the savory eggs. I’d come back again and again just for that. The downside is that the restaurant is so small. We were fortunate to get a table in the small outdoor seating area, but even walking inside made me feel claustrophobic because of how small and tight it is. This also means it’s a longer wait time with less room for patrons. The service alongside this could also be a little better. Our waiter was super busy which caused him to seemingly forget us at times. I get when it’s busy it’s a tough job, but a truly good server won’t ever make you feel how busy it is.

YUMMY! Great option for brunch, just expect a wait time, specially for weekends. We were quoted a 1hour wait, but it was worth it! It was very busy and staff were still nice. Food was delicious! Right before we left the wait time increased to 2hours, so that’s why I’m putting 4/5 stars. Otherwise, totally recommend!

Everything on their menu is very delicious!! That's why it isn't surprising to me that this place is always packed and always has a waiting line (that parking can be hard to find at times, but they have expanded it). We order take out often as a result, and the food is always warm and delicious too. I highly recommend their Captain Crunch French Toast! It is the only french toast my husband will eat, it's that good. As a beverage, if you love sweet and bubbly their Mimosas are it! They have a wide selection of flavors like pear (it's such a cool purple color), watermelon, strawberry, orange, etc.

One of my favorite breakfast restaurants. You can get breakfast for lunch and dinner too. The food is absolutely delicious and great customer service. The atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. Top quality 👌🏾

so good! went with a friend saturday afternoon for late lunch, and the service was fast, friendly, and the food was delicious. we ordered coffee, a chocolate chip pancake, the jersey shore burger (except I got it without the bacon), tater tots, and the tuna taco bowl. the burger was my favorite part, the cream cheese with the bagel and red onions was really great and super filling, great value for the price. definitely would come back again!

Food was fabulous but I must give a shout out to our server, Brandon. He was awesome, and if you want an amazing experience, definitely ask for him. I really enjoyed my Breakfiesta Bowl with Tots. We also tried out the Captain Crunch French Toast. No syrup needed because it is pretty sweet.

Customer service was excellent, our waiter was very attentive and he even gave us drinks for togo. The price was reasonable as the portion was pretty big. Food was decent, nothing too special. I ordered the Californian Omelette which was good, but it could use a little more seasoning. Will be back to try other dishes.

Had to wait 20 mins to be seated. The host sat us outside at a high top. It was chilly outside and the server turned on the heater for us 👍🏽. Our server, Alex, was friendly, attentive and gave us insight on the menu even though he was busy! We ordered Orange juice with rum and it was sweet. The French toast was excellent! Eggs, grits, avocado toast and cap crunch chicken bowl was delicious.

Went here after work for drinks and dinner and the food was absolutely amazing!! I I had the Greek shredder bowl and the veggies were so fresh. I was surprised at how seasoned the gyro meat was. Overall, I’d give it a 10/10. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is friendly. Will definitely be back:)

I enjoyed Daily Eats. The atmosphere was great and our waiter was wonderful. I had a strawberry mimosa which was delicious and orders French toast where were delicious as well . The only thing I did not like was the syrup, it was really watery and the flavor was not my favorite. I had a strawberry milkshake to go and it was very refreshing for a day.

Daily Eats is the perfect breakfast/brunch/lunch spot for a casual dine-in experience. The Memphis Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich on Brioche Bread was 5/5. Orange Creme Soda with Ice Cream was 5/5. The Better Byrd's Muthaclucka was a 5/5 and it came with fries on the sandwich! Our server had great recommendations since this was our first time visiting. When I'm back in town, I'll be back at Daily Eats.

This place was such a great find. I'd describe it as a modern-day dinner. The menu provides lots of healthy, delicious options. You can't help but want to return to try new delights. My family visited Tampa for Spring Break, and we found this spot our first night in town and kept coming back EVERY DAY! We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. All delicious. And I can't neglect to mention the staff!! We encountered quite a few of them on our many trips this week, and they all seem to enjoy their jobs and taking care of their clients. I will definitely stop by again on my next trip to Tampa... My pics aren't the best. -- I tried to snap at least 1 of my order of Captain Crunch French Toast -- I was too busy enjoying my food to take better pics, but trust me, this place is great!... Apparently, they are a part of a restaurant group (see pic 2). I also visited Green Lemon and had a good experience there as well. Excellent vibe at both locations.

A nice place, small, great atmosphere with home cooking. Their breakfast is good, sort of like a diner feel. We enjoyed our meal but it was a bit on the salty side for us. I did feel like they offer a good value for the money. Portion sizes were good and the cost reasonable. If I'm back in that area, I'd consider visiting again.

Sooo good and filling and 3$ happy hour mimosas! But also a bottle of champagne is 20$ and worth the cost. Big bowls 1 is a lot of food :)

Please try the Captain crunch French toast. By far the best French toast I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. Flew into Tampa in the morning feeling hungry and randomly came across this place and they did not disappoint. Great food quality, very friendly staff, quick service, quick seating even though it was pretty packed. They know how to get the job done.

My family and I ate here not once, but twice, on our short trip to Florida! Hands down the best sweet potato fries I've ever had and I enjoyed the bacon cheeseburger bowl both trips. If you want to indulge, give the Cap'n Crunch milkshake a try, you won't be disappointed. We will definitely keep this hidden gem on our food list next time we're in town.

The best breakfast place ever!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The decor was so cute, sort of a beachy/vw bus/atomic age diner vibe. It made for a wonderful atmosphere, where everyone seemed to be in a great mood. It was pretty packed but we were seated right away. I’m sure there’s a wait on Saturday and Sunday though. But I definitely think it would be worth a half hour wait. Now most importantly the food was incredible!! You need to try the Cap’n Crunch French toast. It doesn’t just have chunks of dry cereal on top, it’s ground up enough to give the flavor but still add a little extra crunch (without cutting the roof of your mouth lol). It’s not overly sweet and is fantastic with or without syrup. I’m gonna be trying to recreate it until I have a chance to come back down. The Mexican omelette was delicious. The eggs were fluffy and all the ingredients were so fresh and went together perfectly. The blueberry pancake while simple was delicious as well. The little hint of cinnamon took it to the next level. The home fries were different than what we generally get but we absolutely loved them. And the everything bagel with cream cheese was delicious, toasted just enough, such a simple thing but it was done just right. I think you could order anything on the menu and be happy with it. I can’t wait to come back again and try new things (or maybe just get the French toast again). * Noise Sensitivity Warning* Because it’s delicious it was packed, so if you or someone you’ll be dining with have noise sensitivity issues you might want to sit outside. Or get a mimosa or two until the food comes lol jk but seriously it did help me.

For our last brunch in Tampa, we found this place and instantly wished we'd found it sooner. It's a busy little spot, but it runs smoothly and of course the food options are plentiful. I ordered the "Mexican" omelet + french toast, and my sister ordered the BLTA+ and added french toast. All of it was good and we hardly had enough room to eat most of it. We each ordered the desert pear mojito to drink (that's the purple drink on the photo). It was so delicious 😋. Ok, if you're not convinced already, just go on over and try it for yourself, then tell us about it. You don't have to take my word for it.

The food was great. I tried the Cap'n cluck bowl, It was really good! The waitress suggested it to me and it was one of my friend's favorites so I had to try that. I really look forward to going back and trying more of the menu. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, clean and friendly service staff. If you've never been here, I highly recommend giving it a try.

I had a great experience at Daily Eats in Tampa, Florida. The waiter was very helpful and attentive, and the food was delicious. I ordered the omelette, and it was cooked perfectly. The fresh fruit was also really tasty. The pancakes were decent, but the amount of cinnamon made them taste more like french toast, for better or for worse. The syrup was also a bit watery. Overall, I had a decent experience and I would recommend this restaurant for a quick bite to eat.

Great retro feel with even better menu selections. My wife and I sat at the bar, both to get the full dinner experience, and to bypass the 35 minute wait time for a party of two. (Saturday around 1 PM). Our waiter/bartender was great, and made us feel very welcome. The hard part was having to watch all the food be made and brought out. Everything looked SO GOOD. It made it hard to decide, but we went with the Steak and Eggs breakfast bowl and the Egg, bacon, and cheese sandwich (pictured here). Both were outstanding and didn’t bite your wallet as much as the chain competition. I can’t wait to go back and try something else!

Wonderful diner style restaurant. It was 6 and a half of us and we made a last minute decision to chose this fabulous place. The service was on point! Jack was our server and he showed us a stellar talent in how to approach, serve, and communicate. Stupendous job! The food was very tasty. It came out quick too! All staff was accommodating and pleasant! The space was clean and sanitary. Sure we’ll come back when back in Tampa. Thank you for your hospitality.

I went for the first time this last Saturday and loved it. Everything was so good. I had The Daily Classic Burger with sauté mushrooms and cheddar cheese added, fries, and tater tots. My friend had the gluten free chicken tenders with Honey Mustard and a vanilla milk shake. I sampled all of those and loved all of it.

I had a great 1st experience eating at Daily Eats. The brunch drinks were good and the good was amazing! It's pretty busy during brunch hours, but despite it, we didn't wait long for out good, and everything was tasty and as described on the menu. There were hiccups with my 2nd visit; we were rudely welcomed, which is the only reason for the 4 stars. However, management went above and beyond to make things right for us, so we left there pleased and overall satisfied the way things were handled. I'd definitely recommend this place, EVERYTHING on the menu that we've tried was amazing, you won't be disappointed!

Daily Eats has a retro feel with unique menu selections. Everything we ordered was delicious! We ordered the Egg sandwich with brioche bread, the Jersey Shore bagel and the Chef’s famous Cap’n Crunch French Toast. The portions were big and the price was reasonable. However we were expecting the Cap’n Crunch French Toast to have more flavor as we could barely taste the cereal. The burger was very juicy and had so much flavor! We never expected a burger bagel with cream cheese to taste so good! A must try for sure! Their home fries are really good too! On another note, our server was very friendly, sweet and attentive.

Eh nothing spectacular considering it’s a super busy area with hard to find parking. The wait was 15 minutes Saturday around 1:30. Service was fast but the waiter was very absent minded- forgetting things. We sat outside on the patio area and it was kind of dirty. Lots of things to choose from on the menu. Had the black bean burger and it was flavorless. Sweet potatoes fries were tasty and sweet. I don’t think I’ll come back though.

Very reasonable prices and huge serving portions! The food could use a bit more flavor/seasoning. Menu items sound great and look great when they arrive- but unfortunately everything we ordered was pretty bland and flavorless. Still a good place to visit when you’re looking for a big brunch to fill you up!

Such a fun place to stop in for brunch. I highly recommend the eggs Benedict and the potatoes tasted fantastic. The service was exceptional and the entire vibe of the restraunt was fun, welcoming and just overall a good time. Highly recommend making the trip as I doubt you will be disappointed!

I really liked their whole wheat pancakes with pecans and also they are avocado omelette with goat cheese! There was a wait as it was Saturday brunch but they have an outdoor waiting area. They’re also dog friendly outside too. I hope they get real cream for my coffee next time

Reasonable priced food for the area -$11 for French toast and home fries. Ample Manu there's definitely something for everyone. Very busy establishment if you are looking for a quiet place this ain't it. We arrived at 10am were told there was a 45 min wait. The staff was very friendly and attentive. There's parking on the side, behind and across the street.

So I drove a hour to try this place for brunch…waste of gas. We waited round 40 minutes to be seated then waited maybe 25-30 minutes for the food. When the food came out it was cold. My potatoes had a burnt taste to them. I will say the waitress was nice. They have good water by the way I did enjoy that.

The place is very nice, and people are very nice. We loved the food there, they have lots of yummy options. They allowed us to be in the outside part with our friendly dog 🐶. We will definitely go back again!

We got there at 3pm, there was a wait but the day was nice so we just walked around for a little while. It was definitely worth the wait! The drinks and the food were great. Outside seating next to the street, perfect for people watching! And our server, D'Angelo, was awesome! Definitely recommend this place!

Came in, was promptly greeted by staff and asked to sit outside, with no issue. Ordered the sweet potato fries and a small Cali bowl which were both delicious. Atmosphere is nice and seems to be 50's diner themed which is really cool. Nice place sit down for a quick and relatively cheap bite to eat.
