This place is HUGE! We were walking aimlessly around the city trying to find a chill place for lunch, enjoying the site seeing and tall buildings. We were walking through a tunnel/bridge and spotted a big, decorative, metal crab above some windows. We crossed the street and were excited to see they were open. Although we dined on the first floor, we saw they had a huge bar area with lots of seating and a stairwell to a second floor. They must have some killer parties here! We visited on the 1st and were greeted right away by a friendly guy at the host stand. We chose a booth seat and we were guided down a long corridor to a giant, comfy and private booth. The decor reminded us of a cabin of a ship so they totally got the decor down to fit the vibe. The menu was decent sized and seemed to have options for all tastes and diet needs/restrictions. The restaurant overall was impeccably clean and tidy with all the chairs at the tables facing the same direction and napkins/place settings perfectly laid out at every seat. The staff clearly takes pride in their work and it was super aesthetically pleasing. Our server was timely, sweet and even offered some insight to the city and what it has to offer. We greatly appreciated that since we were visiting from a few hours south in Fort Myers. She was friendly enough to chat with us for a little while and always kept our drinks topped off. The staff seem to really enjoy working here. We ordered a water and Pepsi (too early for us to get a cocktail). For our mains we tried the grouper sandwich and the impossible burger. Both came with piping hot potato wedges which were seasoned wonderfully. The rolls our sandwiches came on were so fresh and fluffy. The grouper was blackened to perfection and the impossible burger was juicy and flavorful. This was definitely an awesome place to run into! We would highly recommend.

Great place addition to the downtown area. We stopped by after Gasparilla to eat before catching the trolley and what a pleasant surprise. Our first time there and for such a busy night we had a 15 minute wait to be seated and the food was absolutely amazing! The sushi was really great & I like that it gives us other sushi options downtown. The crab bowl was amazing! Seasoned well and reasonably priced. The staff was really friendly also and again for a busy night the restrooms were clean and staff came in the ensure paper towel & toilet tissue was stock. Again great place and I highly recommend. The manager on staff was also welcoming and just as involved with service of customers as everyone else might I mention.

Met some friends for dinner and everything was great. Wish I’d have taken more photos of the food, but trust me when I say, “It all tasted amazing” The kids enjoyed the Conch Fritters and Tater Tots and the main courses were very tasty. It is a “loud” restaurant with a lot of echo, so probably not the place of you are looking for intimate conversation, but if you don’t mind the noise the food makes up for it!

Flew into Tampa for the weekend trying to find a seafood place that wasn’t upscale or too casual (which was harder than we thought) and we found Harpoon Harry’s. It was exactly what we were looking for with really good food and drinks, but not the stuffy upscale environment. The calamari was great with a spicy dip and both of our meals were wonderful. Thanks for capping off a great day!

Just had some truly delicious grouper shrimp and grits from here! Top notch seafood and it was plated phenomenally. The server was hilarious and always quick to meet our needs. This place offers two levels and has a large base for seating also. We had a great date night here and saved it to go again.

We were very excited to go here for dinner and even had an amazing seat on the balcony but we were disappointed in the seafood. I am a seafood lover and I couldn't even eat mine because it was so salty! The other food like the side dishes and dessert were good, and the drinks from the bar were fine. I don't know if it was just an "off" night for whoever did the seafood that night or what but I left pretty disappointed.

Food is delicious here! Everyone at the table was silent while eating this amazing food. I ordered The Channelside burger. I think the patty was frozen prior however it was still tasty. My friends ordered crab cakes for appetizers. The cakes were very good and tasted fresh. My best friend ordered beef tips and mashed potatoes which was reported to be very tender. The mashed potatoes and gravy were everything. The crab legs were a big hit too because it wasn't served with butter however the legs had butter marinating inside of them, which we couldn't figure out how they did that but anyways the legs were amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Seafood risotto was really good and steak cooked as requested. Roasted Oyster with Parmesan cheese was super delicious. Gabby my bartender was super nice and kept me company as she got time. Overall highly recommended for night out. The bay is right around the corner for after dinner walk.

This was perhaps the worst experience we have ever had in any restaurant. First off it was sooo hot inside. Secondly, they served me a RAW burger. Literally cold, raw chopped meat. And it wasn’t like they just made a small mistake, but the waiter barely knew what he was doing, and all of the food was just salty, oily, and nauseating. You would think that after the manager came over and saw what they had served me that he would’ve done something for us to appease us, but offered nothing, not a soda, not anything. This is like one of those terribly cliched restaurants you see in a movie… only worse! And it wasn’t inexpensive at all. I was sick for the rest of the day. Stay away from this place!

Beautiful place and very friendly staff. The parking can be difficult so keep that in mind, but if you ask the staff they will kindly help you out. Our food was delicious EXCEPT the seafood risotto I ordered 😭 The risotto and veggies were perfect but all the seafood (lobster, scallops, and shrimp) were SO over salted I could not even eat it. The manager kindly apologized and took it off our bill but I was really disappointed because I love seafood and was really looking forward to it. The key lime pie was amazing. Not many GF options available either, but a few were offered. Very handicap accessible throughout and has an elevator so anyone can enjoy the view if they wish. The bathroom was spotless and well stocked but narrow so those with very wide needs may find it difficult.

Great location! Fabulous service. The grouper sandwich was tasty. This restaurant is right next to the convention center, its two floors, has several bars and upstairs outdoor seating. Great views of downtown.

Had a great visit while in Tampa on vacation on a weeknight. Would imagine this place is hopping on a weekend or event night as huge. We had superb service and enjoyed our meal outside, it was a great evening for that. Started with Conch critters and Tater kegs. The kegs were a great take on a classic appetizer but Conch was more filling without a distinct taste, but still ok. We both went with the Monday shrimp special and well worth it. So many shrimp 😎 The sausage had great flavor as well. We saw after we placed our order you can add mussels for just $5 more so would suggest taking advantage of that. They have some great cocktails off the menu so give them a try. Regret this restaurant not local to us based on our location but will certainly return if we find another location in our travels.

This place was awesome. The over sized booths are very comfortable and made it feel like we were all alone. The food was delicious, we had Stone Crabs and calamari. They were perfect! And our waiter Nathan did an excellent making sure we were taken care of. We will definitely come back the next time we are in the Area.

Spacious spot! Tons of seating! Has indoor/outdoor seating. Servers were wonderful! Timely, friendly and pleasant. We got the conch fritters, lobster bisque, I got the surf & turf and my hubby had the king crab. Our favorite was the conch fritters and the king crab. We would def be back!

Bone in my sushi! It was my first time here and I will never be back and recommend you to avoid it as well. I ordered a Tsunami roll where ell was supposed to be on top of the roll. I got a weird white fish instead with a choking hazard. Rice in the roll was crunchy!! Service was good but they did nothing with the fact their food is not safe.

The food was great (large portions which was awesome for the money), but the star of the show was the service. The waiter for our table was awesome. He was kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Thanks for making it a good experience.

First time with my wife and we love ❤️ it!!! Best waitress and service from Marlene. The crab soup was Devine and the rib eye was super flavorful. The pumpkin pudding with ice cream was excellent. 5 stars!!!

The services and atmosphere were great, but unfortunately the food was a disappointment. The best dish we ordered were the crab cakes, and to be honest, one of the best crab cakes I have tried. The fresh oysters were tasty but smaller than average. The sushi was good but not great. This would have been a 4-star review. However, the seafood risotto was terribly insipid. I ate half of it, but then gave up.

A few months ago we had the pleasure of visiting and had a wonderful time! We enjoyed some really delicious, beautifully plated dishes! The atmosphere was fun and energetic! Although it’s been a little while since we’ve visited, I really wanted to be sure to leave a review because we had excellent service particularly from the manager (or assistant manager, sorry I don’t remember which); I believe his name was Brett. We had a question and our server wasn’t quite sure of the answer so she got Brett. Although the restaurant was incredibly busy, he made a point of stopping by our table and was very warm, friendly and attentive! He answered our questions without making us feel as though we were a bother! We felt very welcomed! The only downside was that it was very warm in the restaurant as the doors stayed open and the closest parking we found cost $20! Great food and service though!

First of all, our server was excellent; that’s the only reason it’s not 1 or 2 stars. The apps were decent, nothing to rave about. The entrees… I think maybe 2 of them were good in a party of 9 people. 2 of us had the snapper and it was completely flavorless and overcooked. Salt didn’t help.. one of us ordered a medium rare steak and they sent it out well done. Someone had the stuffed shrimp which was okay, but the rice was completely bland and blah. Someone had the salmon and they said it was yummy. Another person had the Alfredo and it was decent For the pricing of the dishes compared to the quality, we will not be returning, but I truly appreciated our server and how great she was.

WOW... This place was great all around! Great service and food. Staff was friendly, the seafood pot was delicious and a generous portion of Shrimp. Amazingly good! I would definitely recommend the conch fritters, they were flavorful and tasted Authentic. I say that because it's a Bahamian dish and where I'm from originally and it tasted just like the ones from the Islands. Unlike some places that try to pass off hush puppies with conch inside as conch fritters. Hats off to the chef!

Okay at best. Got the risotto. Shrimp was cooked perfect. Lobster tail was overcooked. Scallops were seared nice but slightly undercooked. And the rice.. it was not "risotto". It was more like eating rice boiled in shrimp water. I would not recommend ordering it. The Spinach dip was good, but I wouldn't eat here again.

Visiting my friend having dinner, and we decided to stop into this restaurant. Very nice atmosphere wooden tables, engraved with the crab and names of musicians. Our first up with drinks, which was amazing appetizers are very fulfilling. Our entrée included a seafood risotto, which was very flavorful, and the sea food cooked perfectly. My friend had the grouper over rice, which was cooked perfectly any generous portion. For desert we had a banana pudding, which comes in a very cute mason jar and it’s not sweet, the flavor is just right. I had the key lime pie which was tart with just a hint of sweetness and hits the spot. I definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting the Tampa area or if you want a nice night out with friends and family.

Went for the first time on a Thursday afternoon. Not busy at all, yet what an incredibly inviting atmosphere. Such a great looking bar/restaurant inside. Jamie our bartender was fantastic! Best service we could ask for. And the food was excellent...especially the Crab Bisque and the Clam Chowder. Holy cow! Best we've ever had. Try the Cowboy Breakfast Shot, too. 😉 Highly recommend!!!

Came on a Sunday at 8pm and was happy to be seated right away with my party of 8. The roasted oysters were 10/10 very delicious I would order again. The fried crab ravioli was also great 9/10 lots of flavor and a little spicy which my family loved. The calamari was a little salty, over breaded, and a tiny bit overcooked. It was more on the harder side I’d say 7.5/10 for the calamari. The fried shrimp was really good a little salty for my family and was not enjoyable 7/10. The gulf snapper was a 10/10. And the steamed seafood was the best 100/10 worth it and cooked well I would definitely order it again. The banana pudding was good I’d say 8/10 definitely give it a good stir before eating or it’ll be separated and some parts will taste like plain pudding.

The atmosphere was great. Fun and Friendly staff. I recommend sitting upstairs and outside if the weather is nice! Fantastic Food! Enjoy!

Loved the place. I only gave 4 stars because of the consistency of my Risotto. Otherwise, everything else was great! Service and the atmosphere was great. The chairs weren't comfy, but I'm not holding a lot of cushion back there. Photos included.

First, I'd like say our server Parker was absolutely amazing. The staff we encountered were all a pleasure honestly. We had the calamari, jumbo fried shrimp with fries, caesar salad and snow crab pot, every dish was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The food was delicious and generous portions. This restaurant will be a must on every visit to the Tampa area.
