Found this gem today the food is excellent ☺️ they had live music and a great bar to wait for food at. Also has outside seating. Big restaurant they have big comfy booths inside lots of space. Friendly staff! Food was authentic and great tasting. You can order avocados whole so yummy! The mofongo was really good not too garlicky and soft. Bartender made great drinks. Will definitely come back.

Friendly and helpful staff! If you get a chance, ask for Mikey to serve you!! Food was amazing!! Long wait for Father's Day, but it didn't go over the quoted hour. We had a wonderful time with all that good Latin/Puerto Rican food 😜

Food was GOOD. Prices seemed high for certain things (drinks) It happens. Portions were ok I guess. Feel like the shaped plates are annoying and used to help give smaller portions. Staff was friendly. Waiter was AWESOME! I'll be back at some point.

Giving this place a one star review because I have to in order to leave a review. I don't usually post things like this but thought I'd share... Placed an order via Uber Eats with Pal Campo Restaurant Tampa. Cutting into the mofongo, there was a paper-like object cooked into it. If you look at the images, there's an alcohol wipe in my food. Called the restaurant to discuss with the Manager, Juan Negron. The restaurant Manager took no accountability. Offered no explanation. No apology. Simply referred me to file a claim with Uber Eats. This is not only disgusting but unsanitary. Isn't this a food violation? The restaurant provided a partial refund but still no explanation. Terrible. Beware of eating at this place and if you do, look at your food. Look all up in your food!

Great place to have a Puerto Rican meal, great atmosphere, and lively music. Even though it seems like it was full we were able to get in and receive our appetizers, drinks, and meal in good time. The fried chicken chucks were nice and juicy and the tostones de pana were great. The mofongo and churrasco were very tasty and tender. Pal Campo is the place to have your dinner any day of the week.

First of all I seriously felt like I was in PR here! Loved the atmosphere of this place, definitely a nice vibe. We went during a weekday around 2 so it was a bit less busy. The food was amazing! Loved the appetizer and entree! The empanadas were definitely bigger than anticipated, which is not a bad thing at all! Drinks were great too! Would definitely be interested in trying any other items on the chance I'm back in Tampa!

The restaurant is located in a highly traveled road, lots of parking. Very Puerto Rican style and good Latin music upon entering the restaurant. Staff was friendly and professional as my my is diabetic and she had an episode where she needed sugar immediately. The staffs provided refreshments quickly. Thank you Pal Campo establishment. Now the experience was good, food was good. We did wait a bit longer for our food and it was a bit cold, but it tasted good. Expect to pay a lot $$$$, dinner for two was somewhere around $80-$100 with out tips, note we did not order liquor. Would I come back? Maybe, but there are other Puerto Rican restaurant with high quality food and taste for a lot less elsewhere.

The food here is excellent just like you were on the island the staff was awesome. If you like Puerto Rican 🇵🇷 cuisine (who doesn't) you are doing yourself a disservice if you are in Tampa Area and don't stop in.

It was my first time visiting. The atmosphere was fun with the flamboyant tree and island themed decorations. The food was delicious and the portions were generous, but I personally found it a bit pricey for the meal and drinks. The service was average. It was a Saturday, so it was busy. I was part of a large party so I didn't get a chance to get the full scope of the menu. I plan on going back at some point to try other menu items. I was a little disappointed that something as basic as a breaded steak was not on a puertorican menu (my husband's favorite).

I visited this restaurant with my husband and son this past Saturday, the food was amazing, fast and accurate service, great atmosphere, enough parking, not a very long wait. My husband and I ordered the Churrasco I ordered the mofongo and he ordered the arroz mamposteao, he also ordered a Alcapurria de Jueyes, my son ordered a Pechuga Milanesa with arroz mamposteao. Everything was as ordered and very tasty. I have included pictures. If you visit the restaurant and are lucky enough to have Josue as your server you will have excellent service, he has awesome customer service skills and goes above and beyond for the guests he is serving (Thank you Josue!), I definitely recommend visiting.

I enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. The outside area was clean and decorated. The atmosphere was great and you could feel the authenticity down to the attire the employees wore. The food was fantastic and I will definitely return when I come to the Tampa area!

First time trying out Puerto Rican food. We found the restaurant by accident after watching a movie. I love the guyabano Drink and the crispy pork, chicken with a sauce with side order of rice with beans 😋

We went here for the first time on Mothers Day. It was also my wife's birthday. The place is really nice. You do get the Puerto Rico vibe. They were extremely busy. Our initial wait time was 2 hour, but we were seated after about 30-40 mins. The Coco Mojito was delicious. We were a party of 9, everyone had a different dish, from chicken to steak and seafood, it all was so so good. The staff was great. Everyone was hands-on to make sure people got seated quickly. My one issue, the reason for the 4 stars is that we had to pay an additional $20 to purchase a tiny cake so that they would sing Happy Birthday. I think that's a bit much, especially since they only have 1 type of cake that not everyone may enjoy. My wife had already got dessert also. I paid for it only because my son really wanted them to come by and sing, but had it been only her and I, I definitely would not have done it. Their prices are not cheap, so I think more options for a cake would be nice or better yet not needing to purchase a tiny cake for $20 at all to sing Happy Birthday would also be nice. Overall, it was a great time. Will definitely go back, but not for someone's birthday, lol.

This place is so authentically Puerto Rican. The food, the drinks, and the atmosphere is a whole vibe. The decor made me feel like I was back home. Pricing is reasonable for the quality and service. On your birthday, they even serenade you. Definitely coming back for my birthday dinner!!

The food was amazing and authentic. We got the shrimp monfongo, the kan kan (giant pork chop), and beef stew with monfongo. The empanadas was different. Our server was great and attentive. Would definitely return the next time we are in town.

The place was a little overpriced but when the portions came out... yk why. The best part was they accommodated us immediately with no wait. The service was good as well. The Tamarindo Sangria wasn't impressive. But other than that... we're definitely going back

This place is very tasty. Almost like Grandma made the meal. Authentic Puerto Rican food. I would definitely give this place a try if you have thought about it or wondered if it was any good. Will definitely be back!

The BEST of the BEST! I would recommend this place a million times over to anyone looking for a great experience. You get what you pay for and then some.

My experience was pleasant except the chicken I picked was not tasty. I was a little disappointed it had no flavor, but my trifongo was amazing. The presentation was beautiful. The service was nice and the restaurant was clean. I will give it a second try!

Our very own slice of Puerto Rico found right here in Tampa, FL. The vibe and atmosphere was amazing. Everywhere we turned we were greeted with a friendly smile. The waitresses are very knowledgeable about every section of the menu. Great food. Great Music. Definitely a place where family and friends alike can enjoy.

It was our first time at this restaurant, and food was very good, but the service wasn’t that good, we walk in and they took us to the table immediately but since that we have to wait a lot in order to be served, I had to go to the host in order to request the service. We went there for my husband birthday and I ask to sing to my husband and they never did it. That was I really disappointed celebration.

I loved the place, food and atmosphere, the only thing I could suggest is to take care of details. Little details can make a difference! We missed a glass of water which we need to asked for and no glass for the beer we ordered, or small plates to share appetizers, but so far was really good!

Food was amazing, but soup wasn't hot enough. Easily & quickly fixed. Meatiest Beef Stew I ever had, those carrots had to have been humongous! Meat was very tender and tasty. The empanadas were good too.

Nice place and atmosphere. Service was just so so. Not a very attentive nor friendly waitress. The food wasn’t bad but nothing special either.

We’ve been a few times in Pa’l Campo, this time around the mofongo with fried pork wasn’t the best. The mofongo was dry and cold, the fried pork was over cooked. My husband had the mofongo with carrucho and he said it was good. I had to wait a lot for a server to stop by our table to tell them about the cold & dry mofongo. I got tostones and they were perfect!

Fantastic Puerto Rican Cuisine. One of My Favorites Places to eat. Restaurant is located in Tampa and also has an Orlando Location. Pricey but definitely Worth It. You will not be Disappointed. Staff, Service, and Atmosphere were on point.

We had a wonderful experience. The decor will automatically take to the island. The service and hospitality was A+. The food didn’t disappoint with the exception of my beans that lacked flavor and my steak with onions 1 from the 2steaks that came with the order was tough. I also had to send back the “chicharrónes de cerdo” because it tasted like it was going bad. The drinks were delicious although the passion fruit juice was too sweet. In spite of the few bad things would I return? YES

I had pulpo with rice and plantain and flan for dessert and they were surprisingly delicious. Service was great, our server was really friendly, and the ambience was quite nice. The only unsightly thing I noticed was the footwear of the female servers. They would look a lot better if they don’t wear black sneakers which definitely don’t go with the colorful skirts which I believe are Puerto Rican traditional costumes. No big deal though as the food was really good!

First time with my wife. My son and my daughter in law invited us to this restaurant. First we ordered appetizers boy they were good. Each of us ordered our main dish and it was delicious too. The service was great and so was the associates. The restaurant is beautiful inside with different art works of Puerto Rico. I do recommend this restaurant if you like 'Comida Criolla' (Creole Food).

I’m so glad I didn’t bail on my coworkers when they said to meet them here. Live music, fresh delicious authentic food, beautiful and local atmosphere … what a GEM! I had an incredible time and the stuffed Churrasco steak was to die for. I will definitely be coming in again soon (even if it’s just to swoon over the handsome bartender again!)
