Let me tell you all the positives about this hotel. This hotel gives you the perks and extra bonuses of bugs and mold in your room. It just keeps getting better how could you pick another hotel when you get the option of holes in your wall and open electrical outlets. When you think you could just not get another great option with this hotel they just keep giving the stain mattresses and sheets and leaking pipes in this hotel solid perk! Room service let me tell you its one of the best to consistently never show up. Customer service does a phenomenal job of passing the buck and offering no help just stated you need see another person that never showed up. Are you looking for quiet and peaceful sleep? Well this place give you the option of hearing your neighbors tv and snoring.

DO NOT DO IT!!! Please spend a little more money and stay somewhere else. We stayed here last minute as we purchased tickets to a football game at Raymond James Stadium. This was the only resort with rooms available within a reasonable distance and now we know why…. I called everywhere trying to get a room from someone that canceled or did not show up with no luck so we did not have to stay here. The hotel is through and through disgusting. The room was literally falling apart (cabinets broken, kitchen appliances broken, bed, etc) the bed was VERY DIRTY with cigarette burns throughout the sheets, makeup stains, etc! The bathroom, kitchen awfully dirty…. You couldn’t pay me to eat in that room, I wouldn’t even shower in that room. The couch needs to be sent to the CDC and the health department needs to Visit this place more frequently. The ice machine right outside our door was covered in mold.

Unfortunately, I like so many others that reviewed this hotel did not do our research on this establishment. I strongly encourage you to seek accommodations else where. When I stopped into this hotel, I didn't pay attention to the clear issues. I didn't even ask what the room rate was. I was provided a room for $140.00 on 6/11/2023. It was totally filthy and gross. There where stains, bad plumbing, hot water issues, children/adults running arguing and slamming doors through the day. Finally, after coming back to the room I attempted to watch tv on what I could only assume was a 26inch. The TV was broken, it would not even turn on remote or manually. I returned to the front desk just before midnight and advised the host I was checking out. Explained my reasons, he stood there looking perplexed as if he had no idea what to do. He didn't offer a refund, discount, different room, even a apology. *** This establishment may be owned by East Indians *** that seemed to be the only people working in the hotel.

It really doesn't deserve a star, I was looking for rooms to take refuge from Hurricane Ian (really a necessity, not a vacation plan) these insensitive people with such high prices but well, my baby needs a place to spend the night, but it really is an abuse not to be considered and more than nothing the hotel is lousy, horrible facilities, old, it smells disgusting, for $190 per night, at the reception some people of Indian origin, who saw us as money faces, terrible attention, we brought our roky dog and despite the fact that we had been helping and wanting shelter they charged us $25 dlls per night for the dog, when other hotels are pet friendly. I made the reservation by phone and thought of a comfortable and nice hotel, (go for its price) but DO NOT go, it is horrible, dirty, old, it smells terrible, nobody helps you, nobody services your room. It's disgusting

This hotel needs some remodeling and care. The beds were comfy but linens had cigarette burns. The shower had good water pressure but dripped even when off, the room had a working mini fridge but no chair for the desk. The entire room just needed some remodeling. However the hotel is a 5 minute drive to Ray Jay and close enough to Tampa area attractions to be convenient. The lobby was clean and they had polite employees.

The positives of this hotel are location and the people at the front desk are nice and courteous. We stayed on the second floor and when you step off the elevator both windows in the hallway were open. There was a strange smell in the hallway. Our bathroom door was broken and the next day when we woke up we opened the window and the plaster had fallen and the dry wall had mold on it.

Should’ve read the reviews. I was looking to save some money as we couldn’t get into our BnB until the next day. Mistake staying here. First bed we pulled back the sheets to find black sock lint in between the sheets at the foot of the bed. Other bed looked clean. Had to kill two wasps before getting in bed, hoping there weren’t more. Thankfully not. We were told at check in that there was no smoking in the rooms. (We don’t smoke) The bathroom smelled like stale cigarette smoke and got worse when we turned on the bathroom fan. This building, in person, does not look like the pictures online when you book. It’s in sad shape.

Wasn’t terrible nothing great and spectacular but decent enough for a one night stay. Me and my wife enjoyed our stay. They even have free breakfast cleaning staff is just a bid rude. Room did smell kind of moldy also but nothing too heavy.

I'm not going to deny that the cleanliness of the rooms could have been better. The reviews here regarding the condition of the rooms are fairly accurate; however, I have seen much, MUCH worse in other hotels over the course of my life. The hotel smells clean and I saw several housekeeping employees working throughout my stay there so they do take care of it. I have a lot of praise for the staff. They were so nice. We were staying because of the evacuation order in our area. We have three pets. They only permit two but made an exception due to the circumstances. The check-in process was smooth. The hotel, although full with guests, was quiet at night. Good coffee in the morning (I didn't take advantage of the breakfast but it looked decent with plenty of items to choose.) Overall, I was satisfied with my stay here.

This place needs a remodeling. It was terrible. Plus in the room next to our room was a Domestic Violence Issue. I had to call the front desk, they called the police. I told my family to stay in the room! The police knocked and knocked notify the occupants it was the Police. The police had to kick the hotel room door down. The guy was arrested, the female was taken to the hospital. The clerk told me that the room was destroyed by the guy. It was all because he wanted his cell phone. We could here him yelling, that he wanted his cell phone. But that is No excuse to harm someone else and to totally destroyed the hotel room that they were staying in. I notified Wyndham Rewards and told them about what happened. I was not happy. Of course Wyndham Rewards program did not do anything about what happened and our terrible experience through everything that took place. I would not recommend this and other locations. They need to have major remodeling and everything was old, broken and just not worth the money for the stay. I now always check the room before making a reservation. Buyer be aware! DM.

For the price paid it wasn't bad. The bed was king size, the mattress was bug FREE and comfortable. Not as plush as some hotels but I slept great.. The shower pressure I wish was better but it was sufficient. The breakfast selection could've been better. The coffee and apple juice were great. They also offered bagels, cream cheese, boiled eggs, English muffins, and toast. Not bad in a pinch but if you can go to IHOP or something.

Given the current situation of the coronavirus you would think they're cleanness would be more improved but it's was one of the worst. TheThe first room we were given the headboard was off the wall and leaning on the bed and there were no sheets of blankets on either of the two beds. The window was wide open, there was hair in the refrigerator. The second room we were given the room was full of mold and both were dirty. The last was better but still dirty. There was other guess drinking the hallway.

I have never felt more disgusted and unsafe. I booked this place last minute when travel plans changed. Checked in at 10:30pm and left quickly at 2:00am… I checked in and went up to my room. The door swipe was old and would not take the keycard. Nish, the front desk worker, had to come and let me in. He told me that if I left, I’d have to get the attendant to let me in each time. It was nice having the protection of an attendant when in the hallway going into my room as there were many people who were engaging in drug use and who were fighting and screaming constantly roaming the halls. Still, an inconvenience. The scene when I got in the room was inhumane to say the least. The bathroom tile had been ripped up, the toilet was on a pedestal and was balancing, there was a hole in the door and only one light turned on. In the bedroom area, the dresser/closet is totally torn up. The window opens with no screen and a neon changing-colour outdoor facade light lit up the room. I went to get in bed, pulled down the sheets and found hair everywhere. Then, on the pillow I noticed BED BUGS. After looking through the room, I found bed bugs all through the bed. I didn’t find any cockroaches but I am confident that they were there. I instantly went down to the desk to check out and receive a refund as I deserved. I paid in cash. Nish, the attendant, was “not authorized to give refunds.” Why isn’t an employee authorized to do their job? He assured me that I would hear from the manager first thing in the morning regarding a refund or that I should come in at 8am to get it from them in hand. I couldn’t do that because I was flying to Canada at 8am. No refund four days later. I’m blocked by both managers and have been told to “attempt legal action.” This place is a health hazard. Don’t do it to yourself.

It was the cheapest place for as close as we wanted to get to the theater. Had we not wanted to stay immediately downtown and spending $500 a night in one of the hotels there. I suppose you get what you pay for. It was hard to find this place as it was tucked away behind another building. There were dead cockroaches on the floor when we entered the room. We heard whistling of the wind all night because the windows were not sealed correctly. We were first told that they could not accommodate our service dog. Beds were rock hard if you like that. TV was extremely small and not what we expected. Bathroom was not clean as we would have liked. We stayed tonight's, the first night the next morning we just asked for extra towels but the maids wanted to come in anyways even though we told them we were good. Where we had the dog. We did not want other people in the room. Not sure we would stay there again.

Place was filthy. No water pressure, A/C didn't cool the room, outlets were all loose, bathroom door would not close, bedcovers were stained, sink faucet was loose, weeds all over outside, leaks in the lobby.

Service was fine but other than that it was a disgusting experience. Please don’t go cheap for any hotel!! It was dirty, hairs everywhere, dirty rags, BUGS! And also exposed ceiling lights and the fire sprinklers were exposed as well. If OSHA came in this hotel, they would shut this hotel down! And fire Marshall would shut it down!

Was given wrong room at first but they fixed it and gave us our king room.. the A/C had to be on 64 in order to cool the room.. tub was stained and refrigerator barely worked OTHER THAN THOSE, overall wasn't horrible.

Would not recommend this hotel. The room was disgusting and dirty. My a/c unit was barely in the wall, you can see outside around the unit. There was/is a water leak and they just paint over the water in the walls. Bathroom was dirty, shower curtain to small for shower and shower rod was broken.

I gave 2 stars for location because we needed to stay local to a high performance car shop where are car was being fixed. The exterior door was busted so never could be locked like it said it was for safety. There were 2 broke down cars in the parking lot that clearly had been there for a while. The room had broken mismatched furniture. Some of the outlets didn't work. There were cables draped across one wall. Also no shades in the room and some of the lamps didn't work. So it was either darkness or on display with brightness. When we went by the pool it looked very clean and we did see someone picking up trash in front of the entry. We stayed here out of necessity but won't again.

Do yourself a favor and just go sleep under the bridge with the homeless man and duck. It's safer and a lot cleaner than this dump. This place is absolutely disgusting. Our room smelt, the pull out bed had feces and blood all over it, there was half a window missing, and black mold all over the bathroom. Not to mention, you will be told they have no extra pillows and linens for your pullout bed and have to use whats on the bed. (You are a hotel, how do you not have any extra pillows?). Days Inn and Wyndham should be embarrassed to have their name associated with this place.

Do not stay here if you have any type of mold allergy or sensitivity. Room smelled musty. Bathroom had mold and mildew everywhere. Staff were fine. Location was ok.

Oh wow... so it's about 10pm pretty tired and I find this hotel. I jump into bed just to sleep something touches my foot. I jump up, pull the sheets and it's change. I don't have or carry change ever. My sis pulls her sheets dead bug, hair, dirt ect. She went to front desk he gave us sheets and we had to make our own beds. It's too late and too tired to find another place.

STAY AWAY. The minute we arrived staff tried to tell us that our room has been cancelled but we had never been contacted about that happening which then led to an argument and an eventual room. Once we got to the room, we really should have looked to stay elsewhere. The rooms REEK of cigarettes and dog. I understand this hotel is pet friendly, but there seems to be a complete lack of actual cleaning to help at least cover the smell of animals and cigarettes (we were in a non smoking room). The bathroom door had a hole punch in it, and to make it even better it wouldn't even shut. No hardware on the bathroom door. The sink was disgusting and had this yellow-ish fluid all over it. The floors feel like they've been mopped with dirty water or never mopped at all. On top of all of this the windows are not child proof, neither in the room nor the hallway (they leave both windows open in the hallway for some reason). Just do yourself a favor and look for a room somewhere else.

Let me put it to you this way. Stay away. The hotel and staff members are the worst. The maintenance man walks around as if life sucks. The housekeeping supervisor is the worst. This must be her first supervisory position because she saids that she Is the supervisor but she does know anything about the role. This hotel makes you feel as if they are doing you a favor by letting you stay there. The Extended Stay America located on Hillsborough and George Is much better hotel. They are less expensive and they have a kitchen. Again stay away from this hotel. I am disappointed in Days Inn for letting this hotel be part of there chain of hotels.

I wish I can give it a negative rating. The rooms were disgusting to say the least. Sheets had blood stains (amongst other stains), there was weed residue on the comforter. Roaches crawling out of the sink. Windows were taped shut. The kids were afraid to touch anything as the room was in such diplorable conditions. I made a complaint to get out money back the moment we entered the room and was told the manager was in Egypt and he wasn't authorized to make that decision. After continuously stressing for him to get a hold of the manager in "Egypt" he finally called him and the manager agreed to give the money back "if" we made the beds with the same bloody and dingy sheets the bed was originally made. Of course, the answer was you need to make the bed yourself and I will be taking this up with corporate. I have since made the complaint with corporate and will be calling the health department as this is in no way shape or form sanitary. I am still waiting on the call back from the manager which I have yet to have been able to personally talk to. I have pictures of all of the above descriptions and then some. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, and stay at a homeless shelter before you stay in this NASTY place. I have never expeirenced such filth from a place in my life and I have stayed at all kinds of hotels. I didn't expect a 4 star resort but I did expect sheets with no bodily fluids at the very least!

I did not feel comfortable here whatsoever, there was just a general weird vibe. While me and my mother were swimming in the pool two creeps came up to us and were watching us swim, police came in the building and the men left, when the police left the men came back. We left the pool immediately. When we first walked into the room it smelt like someone had been smoking, may I remind you it said “no smoking.” The shower handle was loose and the bathroom was overall nasty. There were crumbs in the bed and random black dots. One bed was stiff and the other wasn’t.. definitely do not recommend.

We decided on a suite because we needed certain items in our room. To start, no iron, but we had an ironing board. The person at the front desk said that there was not an iron available. We also did not have a coffee pot. We were able to at least get one of those. There were roaches all over the bathroom and it was not clean. On the 2nd day of being there, we discovered the window to our room (ground level) was open, all of our belongings were in the room. We were there for 4 days. Only once was our room cleaned and we had to ask for towels everyday. I was extremely disappointed and will possibly never stay at a Days Inn again. I can't believe they are okay with this.

This hotel is horrible. First off, any respectable establishment does not except cash at check in and they do. It’s only 1 elevator. The rooms do look like the picture ,but when you pull the covers backs it’s absolutely disgusting. The beds air stained, the bathrooms tub was dirty and stained, the water constantly dripped in the sink, the pull out cushion was thin and uncomfortable. There is no housekeeping in the evening they didn’t have any extra linen for the sofa beds with the stains, or extra towels and wash cloths. My group had yo go buy cleaning products and towels and wash cloths to use on the rooms. The pool was so cloudy and dirty we couldn’t even swim. The hotel did provide a continental breakfast from 7-10am but if you come at 9:30 don’t expect to eat anything because it’s all gone. I watched 2 people come in to eat that hadn’t even stayed in the hotel the night before. Overall it was the worst hotel stay ever and the fact we couldn’t go anywhere else was the longest 2 nights ever.

I've stayed in worse. Barely. It's pretty grubby. The mattress is uncomfortable. The bathroom looks partly remodelled and not-quite-painted. The walls are thin. The check-in (manager?) Is really nice and seems sincere. We stayed here due to an airline problem/overnight delay and.... I think I will regret not paying more out-of-pocket for a better hotel. Another guest was complaining when we checked in, said his room had an off odor," like gross" so don't get room 124.

This place would be a good location to film a horror movie. Customer service is non existent. Pool was green due to lack of maintenance! Room was old and in need of maintenance! Personally, I don't know how it is allowed to operate? Where is the State Inspection? The only good thing is that it's close to the Stadium.

I was told there was a room available when I made the reservation last minute because of Hurricane Ian. Upon arrival we were given a room that had a broken AC. The second room offered had a broken keycard and manual door lock with a door that stuck. The third room did not have enough beds and the fourth room had enough beds but one was broken. I had myself. two teenagers and two small dogs that had just gone through hurricane Ian and we were exhausted. I asked for a refund for the three nights I booked plus the extra charge for pet fees and I was told 'only management' can give a refund and there was NO MANAGER on site. We left and I do not recommend this place to anyone to stay.

  • 1/5 Becca C. 1 year ago on Google
The room was filthy. The cushions looked like they hadn’t been cleaned. The floor was wet. The room was musty. The water dripped in from the shower. There must have been renovations going on as there were plastic sheets hanging in multiple places. We were refused a refund, although I only wanted one night back (I was okay with losing one night).

  • 1/5 Jack Ross (Car S. 2 years ago on Google
Came in and room was clearly not cleaned properly, in addition there were multiple holes in the bathroom door and we were missing a light fixture and smoke detector in a non smoking room. There is a gap in between the wall and the window and the window itself is held in place by a stick. The AC every hour made this awful loud rattling noise for about 5 minutes at a time. The tv remote did not go with the tv that we had. The shower did not get hot. We went to the lobby to buy bottled water and it tasted like cigarettes somehow. There were also burn holes in the comforter. On our checkout date, at 9am and 10am sharp they tried opening the door on us, the second time they knocked but immediately attempted opening the door after their knock. Overall most disappointing hotel stay I have ever had. The only nice thing I have to say about this place is the front desk guy was friendly and helpful.

This place is a dump. Absolutely disgusting and filthy. We killed two bugs in the bathroom. Rusty bathroom, water bubbles in the ceiling, the list goes on. Totally sickening and should be $20 a night not $180. We were desperate for a hotel after a flight cancellation and another hotel recommended this place. If we only knew. Do not stay here

  • 1/5 Sherry G. 2 years ago on Google
Booked a room before New Years. Once we got to the room the bathroom door was completely splitting apart. Plumbing in the shower coming out of the wall. We pulled the covers back to check the bed and found bugs. We immediately went down stairs and asked for a refund 17 days later still waiting.

  • 1/5 ValentinFamCam 2 years ago on Google
Absolutely awful. We stayed here last minute due to a cancelled flight situation. First the card key does not work to open the door. The place is a dump, bathroom tub faucet was leaky and loud, BLOOD on bathroom floor, smelled like mold, bedding looked dirty. We were in the room all but 5 minutes and someone tried to forcefully open the door twice without knocking. There were sketchy people in the halls and outside the hotel doing drug deals among other things.....This hotel does not even deserve 1 star. It should be shut down. We left within 10 minutes as there was no way I would allow my daughter or myself to stay in that place and we went to the Hilton 2 miles away which was AMAZING. Like I said this DaysInn was awful .......absolutely disgusting and should be shut down
