The bartender was great, she came and waited on us for lunch because no one knew where the waitress went. We had the burger lunch special for $5.99, the burger was unseasoned, and greasy, tasteless. I was thankful for the pickles. The fries were crispy but clumped and no flavor. The food looked good but was a let down.

Had a great experience on our recent vacation to Clearwater. Service was quick and efficient. Food was amazing and portions were more than we could eat. We had wings, tacos, the philly, and fries all were cooked well and plentiful. Also the night we went they had live music and that made for a great atmosphere

We loved this place! The bartender became Our server, Jules, and made sure we were tended to even though the original server did not show up. She was exceptionally energetic, and super friendly. My wife ordered The car but the salad and said it was pert near the best that she had ever had. I got the French dip with the fries, and was extremely impressed. The beer prices were Great, and the overall experience was definitely worth a return visit during our short stay here in Clearwater. We highly recommend this awesome unassuming establishment.

The drive into this area was amazing and this place was the perfect hidden spot to shove the grub into my stomach! Fodder was awesome and pricing was great! Highly recommend a stop in to feed your needs!!

My gf and I visited Clearwater for the first time and went to the Brown Boxer for dinner and drinks after a long day at Busch Gardens. Very traditional bar with no drink menu (they have posters and ads on the wall for beers they don't offer πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ) and decent late night food. The best part of going to the Brown Boxer is karaoke on Tuesday and Thursdays! When we went, we were one of the only ones singing but it was a blast. Thank you to Ken for setting everything up and keeping the "party" going. If you're looking for a normal bar, decent food, and some fun, this is a good place to go. Enjoy!

If you are lucky, you may stop by when the most amazing bartender God ever created is working! Her name is Jules and she normally works Wednesday and Thursday. Tell her Jim sent you and enjoy the show!

Tuna app was a good choice with the boneless wings and love the avocado egg rolls. No complaints about any of the food, price is good. Server had okay service at the beginning, but towards close was not very interested in us ordering any more drinks or closing us out.

Fun outdoor eating establishment. Great entertainment. I did not eat here but did have several drinks. Staff was terrific.

It was nice that it wasn't overly crowded. The server did a great job. The food all tasted good. With 3 orders of fish and chips, there was a noticeable difference in portion size between them. There was a musician playing in the room opposite from us and the crowd was singing along. It was nice that they could all enjoy the music but it was loud with a lot of people off key.

A real bar, not a tourist trap. Best prices on drinks, bartender was great. Food was very good and portions are HUGE. This is where the locals and industry people go and for good reason. Beware though, if you want dancing robotic crabs on the walls and souvenir alligator head cups that say CLEARWATER this is not your place.

I know I was here. The fact that I don't remember a lot, other than excellent sized pours on the shots should say something. Well stocked bar, and a bartender with a great sense of humor.

Italian Beef egg rolls were really good…but we came for BINGO! Was sad to hear it was their last night hosting it. 😩😩😩

The food was delicious, the prices were about average for the area $11-12 burger $14-20 entree. The atmosphere was ok, but service was lacking. The wait/bar staff definitely not team players. But over all good meal at a good price.

Bartenders are cool and outdoor area is great for watching games. If you're a Cowboys fan, go when fellow fan Gabrielle is working. Wings are good and on special during football season and Philly cheese is huge.

One of the best experiences I've had on the beach to date! Pure friendly fun. Always a great cast of characters on hand, many locals and professional people stopping by. Bartenders are excellent, and the entertainment is awesome. You can catch Michael Lane there on the weekends, and his show is tons of fun, open mic with the whole joint singing along. A great place!

The Brown boxer south is the place to be at. Everyone welcome three girls from Indiana with open arms and put up with our shenanigans. Alana, Beth and Mark are the best people around. Love crashing a place like this and being made to feel like a local. So much love at The Brown Boxer South. Thanks for a great time and we will be back again soon for an Alana special πŸ˜‚

We were told this was the place locals go to. I’m happy to say we were treated like locals here. The staff was so friendly and inviting, the food was good and the atmosphere was so fun. Thanks so much to Alanna, Beth and Marcus for making our girls trip the best. We will be back next year!!

Use to go to the Brown Boxer north until 2 weeks ago when we decided to go and try the Brown Boxer south and boy are we glad that we did. Big Mike and his wife Megan along with the rest of the staff were amazing. Big Mike was there right away making feel at home and the rest followed suit. The food was amazing and hot. The atmosphere was for us perfect mostly locals with just enough vacationer’s. The music was at the right level with the beach flare style sounds. We will be going every weekend so see you there Ralph and Val

First off, always the friendliness staff on the beach. Which says great management. We have been all over the beach. Big Mike is attentive to all his customers. Food is always good and fresh. I also am going to add.....cleanest womens restroom on the entire beach. We are now regulars to brown boxer "south"...

It's a sports bar that has plenty of TVs. You can get pretty loud there with all the hooping and hollering especially when the super bowl is on. But they sure seem to keep the clients satisfied. The beer is cold and the food is hot.
