I've eaten here a few times so I thought it would be a good spot to take my family visiting from another state. I do regret choosing to eat here. We waited about an hour for our food and the place wasn't crowded at all. It was a Tuesday afternoon. The waitress was weird and not too friendly. She brought the food and never came back to our table to make sure everything was okay. I watched my son try to get her attention twice. She told him to hold on and never came back. I had to tell her as she was passing that he needed a refill. I never got the sauce for my food but she was nowhere to be found. I was very disappointed with the entire experience. It's like she knew she was gonna get the 20% gratuity either way so she really didn't care.

Grabbed lunch today. Really liked this place. Tons of seating. Tvs everywhere. Lots of options on the menu. Friendly service, though not the fastest. Full bar. Decent wine options. Live music in the evenings. Upstairs and downstairs. On the main strip in Clearwater by the beach. The buffalo chicken do was wonderful. The mushroom Swiss burger was cooked perfectly. My side salad was fantastic.. fresh lettuce, covered with perfect toppings of tomatoes, Cucumber, onions and croutons. I ordered a BLT wrap and it was awesome. Prices were reasonable. Portions were spot on. Would definitely go back.

This was a fun place to listen to music and drink! We didn't order food, because we had already eaten the night we went here. We were looking for a happening place to hang out and this was definitely it! Great music, great friends, great time! Some great eye candy here as well! Definitely a must visit place when you are on vacation in Clearwater Beach. The age range was 21-Mature!

It’s a nice sports bar with lot of food choices. Great atmosphere. However, the service was ok. Our first server cared less, she didn’t seem interested at all maybe because she had to leave/end of her shift or something??!!! We were initially there to get some drinks, eventually we ordered some food/appetizers too. When we ordered drinks, she wouldn’t even in listen to the complete sentence or let us finish and started leaving. Very weird! And then she wouldn’t even comeback to ask if we needed anything. We had to keep getting her attention. She closed our tap because she had to leave. The second serve was good, way nicer than the first one. They ran out of most common drink, ice tea. In my humble opinion - the restaurant definitely needs to improve their customer service. And hence 3 stars!

Great spot to go to since it's open late; kitchen closes at midnight I believe. The food was delicious and you can enjoy live music while eating. You have to pay for parking unless its after 6p and finding a parking spot is a mission! We had: burger, firecracker shrimp, wings, and tenders. I recommend this place!

Drove from srq to spend the day in Clearwater. This has to be one of the most entertaining bars I’ve ever been to. Dance music/pools tables/ videos games. Also don’t forget about the 4 bars they have! Steve served me at the top bar. Best attuned/hustle as a bartender. I’ve been to many bars by far best bar in town.

I really wanted to like this place more. The server was sweet and most of our meals were decent but my sons burger and the ham on my Cuban tasted off. The restaurant is huge and open but had a strange smell. Maybe needs a deep cleaning including the vents. Kids do eat free at the Brown Boxer right now so that is a big bonus!!

Being from Norristown, PA, cheesesteaks eateries are on every corner almost. Philly being the home of the cheesesteaks makes it hard to duplicate. I must say that the cheesesteak here at the Brown Boxer was freaking EXCELLENT!! Indeed it was on a local Philly Amaroso brand roll which added to the authenticity. I would say one of the BEST cheesesteaks I have ever had and sure have enjoyed a few back in Philly. A must if visiting. Wife had the chicken tenders which she loved. Staff was very friendly, comfortable dinner not in peak tourist season and 5 star review. Lots of places to eat locally but would come back here for guaranteed value. Two floors of seating and roomy as we ate at the north end location.

If you haven't been to the boxer in a few years, you need to come back now! It's completely different and renovated. Check out the latest pictures of the massive arcade. It takes up half of the entire upstairs lounge area. A full arcade and bar. Great place for bringing your kids to hang out on Clearwater Beach. TVs everywhere with everything imaginable playing. Great family place during the day. The people are friendly at night, great bar to hang out at night. A real double threat. Whatever the management is doing is working, this place was busy on a Friday but not crowded enough where you couldn't enjoy yourself. The bartenders and security were present and attentive. Truly a great experience on Clearwater Beach. Walk right past Hogan's and into the brown boxer and you won't be disappointed.

Prime location and live band. Philly cheese steak is pretty good.

Got there around 11am on a Sunday. Employee sternly told us we have to order from the bar. The place was practically empty. Then employee loudly yells at us if we want menus. Didn't walk to our table (10 ft away) to hand us menus. Then yells to ask about drinks. We responded and promptly left. It's a shame because it looked like a nice place with good food, but there was good food/nice places up and down the strip. Hospitality should be a priority

food was good, live music was great and Brandon was probably the best bartender my man and I have had BUT, DJ Danny was rude & his set was mid. He had the nastiest attitude when I requested ONE song and we were the only ones in there at the time. Aside from his sourness we LOVED the place. Would highly recommend still.

The food is always great! We usually never have any problems but today we spent over 2 hours here. It took our server over 25 minutes just to get our drink orders and another 30 to come order our food. Never once came back for drink refills or to check on us. We had to hunt her down for our ticket and even with the terrible service she was still granted the 26% gratuity. Other people came in after us, got their food, and left before we even got our food. To add to this, there was no one else in her section and the place had hardly anyone in it so it wasn't that they were busy she was just a terrible server. Hope the next time is better

Two levels of bars of pure awesomeness. Bottom bar you've got a live band playing feet away from you. Great music with 2 bars, one half outside. Full food service and menu. Burgers are always on point! Top level hosts an arcade, club, and 3 bars. This is the second biggest bar (and known pretzel place) venue on Clearwater beach aside from Shepherd's resort. Highly recommend for groups and bdays! A little pricey for bar food but it's Clearwater beach and I'm a local.

Great atmosphere! Fun bar to visit for sporting visits and the food is good. Enjoy the employee's and their service. Been coming down to Florida for continuing education training and will be to this gem.

If you ever want your time to be ruined go visit the girl at the downstairs bar. She is constantly miserable and if she doesn't like what you say she will make sure you have a horrible time! At which she will argue with you you. I go out to enjoy my life not listen to her miserable life and ruin my good time and hard earned money! Second of all she got my food order wrong and is constantly ragging on all the guys at the bar. Go to her if you want to have a miserable time I promise you it will be what your looking for at that point. She listens to no points but her own and is a self serving person who only sees her customers as how much tip she should get!

7:30pm Thursday night decided to explore places other than our favorites. Hostess yelled from the bar we could sit where we want. The place had maybe 20 people in it. Clue #1. Nice server offered that they serve Coke products but the mixer is putting out flat Coke, so drink choices are beer, water or alcohol. Water it was. Clue #2. She did recommend the Boxer Balls as a specialty appetizer - fried Rueben in balls with dipping sauce 4/$12.99. Served hot, crispy and nicely plated. Actually very good ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I ordered 10/15.99 wings naked, medium sauce and crispy/well done. Came well dressed in sauce but not crispy and on the smaller side ⭐️⭐️ Wife ordered a wedge salad $13.99(?). About 1/3 head of lettuce, but served face down with out leaves up, clumpy packaged bacon crumbles, chopped tomatoes and okay blue cheese crumbles and dressing. Problem was everything had rolled of the lettuce creating a moat around the room temp lettuce in a warm bowl. Missed the “chill” part ⭐️ Finished meal and waited 10+ minutes for a check. Once it arrived I offered card, she ran off and returned with the final tab and disappeared again. Prices were different!?! Got up and grabbed a menu from the wait station and noted in small print that “prices represent cash transaction. Use of a credit card adds 3.75% to each item. Understood but not a great experience. Make the price the price. Last time I checked McD’s doesn’t charge extra for the cup, lid and straw. Finally, tabled was a little sticky and bagged utensils still needed a wipe down. All up, app, wings, salad, water and tip =$56. Not a great value or place I’d visit again.

Best Sports Bar in the area. Meaning best bar food, atmosphere, and service. Did it help the Bears win, No! But it was still a fun place to watch the game.

Located in the heart of the city, Brown Boxer is a popular hangout spot for locals and tourists alike. While they may not be known for their food, their live music performances by different local bands are what draw the crowds. Whether you're looking for a place to unwind after a long day or a lively spot to catch up with friends, Brown Boxer is the perfect choice. From Thursday to Sunday nights are the most busiest nights. You can enjoy a wide selection of drinks while grooving to the beats of their talented DJs. Don't miss out on the vibrant atmosphere and unforgettable nights at Brown Boxer.

Highly recommend checking out The Brown Boxer, food was delicious & definitely a family friendly place. Live music, arcade games, plenty of bars! Cannot believe we haven't been before, will definitely be back next time we are in town! Only a short walk from Pier 60

The Brown Boxer is an amazing spot, great food and atmosphere. When you are done eating the delicious well priced food, go upstairs and play arcade games, enjoy the atmosphere or sing Karaoke! Food and fun..perfect mix. The owner Jay and Manager Jason are super friendly and the best owners/ managers I have ever met. I'm a 100% reoccurring customer and it doesn't get much better than this place as far as food, service, and entertainment and trust me I tried every restaurant out there...the Brown Boxer is definitely #1.

I needed a place to relax, and make me feel comfortable, and The Brown Boxer did just that. Add the awesome food and great service and I'll be back every weekend! You can read reviews all day, but just stop in and let them take care of you and you'll be back in no time! Did I mention great food and service!

We used to love coming here with friends and family but not recently. Out of our most recent visits, this one was the worst. Our server was good, I didn’t catch her name but she was really sweet. The food was horrible. My husbands burger came out and he couldn’t stomach it, literally. Luckily he didn’t eat more than 2 bites because it tasted sour. They took it off our bill. He ended up suffering from food poisoning not long after we left until 6am.. Unfortunately we can’t risk eating here again.

I wanted to love this place, I'll probably come back. The restaurant was clean, the staff was very kind. I did enjoy the atmosphere. The only thing I didnt come to like was my burger. It looked fantastic. The pickle an mac & cheese tasted great. But the burger it was dry an just had no kind of seasoning. An it wasn't over cooked I can say that much. So I don't know what happened. Id still recommend to others to give this place a try.

We really liked our stop here. It's not fancy, but solid, flavorful food. I loved the wings and southwest egg rolls. My fish with mango habanero salsa was great and my partner loved his jambalaya. My mom got tacos and said they were very good as well! Happy group!

Apps and Chili were good, service was great. It was cold and windy, Rusty the manager would not close door, after multiple request. Stayed in his office where it is warm. Left and went to Clear Sky for sandwiches because of him not closing the door.

This place was so much fun! So much fun that I unfortunately lost my wallet the day before flying home and thought it was gone forever. Rick Campbell contacted me like 5 days later after leaving Florida that he had found it! And so kindly shipped it back to me. Highly recommend this place :)

I had the firecracker shrimp tacos, and would 10/10 recommend them. The sauce alone is amazing, with a little bit of spice, but nothing that a normal person can’t easily handle. We also got Mac and Cheese Balls, and they were decent, this sauce was not as good, but the balls themselves tasted good. And then we got kids chicken strips, and they were a little overcooked, and the reason for the 4 stars.

Awesome space for a party or get together. There is an arcade upstairs to keep your children occupied while you enjoy dinner & drinks. Over all very family friendly.

We had Tarek for a server and he was great, it was very busy for the AFC Championship Game and he was in complete control. Always attentive and friendly. Food was great, we had snack items, Firecracker Shrimp is addicting. Hummus was good with plenty of veggies and the soft pretzels was huge. We really enjoyed ourselves.
