Great atmosphere outside! The salsa is amazingly fresh (see pic) and tasted great. The main dish was also good and hot. Overall best Mexican place I have tried in Tampa, please try it out!

I visited this place because it had many positive reviews. Entering the establishment what I did not see was a lot of Latinos eating, not a good sign. The food quality was as designed for the palate of the North American eater and not authentic Latino Tex-Mex mexican. On a positive note the waiter was friendly. The ambience and the atmosphere was definitely Latin inspired again not authentic. They played modernish Latin music while you dying and enjoy your time here. If you really enjoy authentic Southwest or Mexican cuisine you should avoid this place. I repeat myself this place is catered to the North American pallet. You should understand that there's always a possibility that I am mistaken, don't take my word for it try this place. See if you agree with me. Be aware the menu is on the pricey side. This was my last visit here besides being my first.

The entrance is outside the mall. Great menu. Friendly service. Good mixed drinks. Food is hot when served. Churros for desert. My wife had the vegetable quesadilla. I had the New York steak street tacos. It was all very good.

I've heard so much about this place and the rumors were true. Heard about their happy hour and the pomegranate margarita...AMAZING. One and done for me. The food was amazing. Got the baja fish tacos. I was barely able to finish since we'd had chips and salsa with guacamole before the meal. The guacamole was so good it went fast and before my picture. This place is connected to a mall so if you're shopping and need a little something to recharge you OR bottom you out before the trip home, this is it.

The Restaurant was very nice, the table was perfect the atmosphere was nice. We actually had a good time and was enjoying ourselves until the Server Charged my Credit card for someone else’s table. That turned into a total mess! What a disappointment and total ruined our night. Also the other table was equally disappointed as well. The Manager on duty was a young woman who actually fixed everything however it took over a hour to adjust everything and a few days to correct itself on my credit card. It was terrible. However I do appreciate the young manager girl who finally got everything corrected, however our night was totally ruined. We might give the place another try however not sure yet.

The food itself was good. My cons: no complimentary chips n salsa & no refills on Arnold Palmers (?- either that or our server wasn't proactive.) When you pay $30+ per person, little things like that are the difference between a 5 star rating and an "it's okay" rating.

They have recently changed their menu. Chips and Salsa ore no longer brought to the table it is mow on the apitizers menu. I was used to the menu that was 3 pages now just one double sided flip laminated. There is a lot to choose from. I understand everything is changing and changes is good but, I like the past too. Server was very good.

We are from South Texas so we know good Latin food. The food here is delicious and authentic. My favorite was the Mole enchiladas. The drinks are great too. Finish off with Tres Leches Cake. Amazing. Really good service

First time in Tampa and came here. I assumed it Besito was going to be like the ones in New York but was pleasantly surprised with how different and unique it was compared to the others. We had a small hiccup with service but that was rectified immediately. The manager spoke with us and our server, Daniel, was incredible and extremely nice! I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for some Mexican food!!

Natalie, our server, answered ALL our questions, gave good recommendations and was an all-around pleasure! The food was AMAZING! 10 out of 10! Appetizers were the avocado egg rolls, the ceviche, and the 3 salsas. I had the birria tacos, my sister had the coconut sea bass, and our friend had the veggie skillet... everything was delicious! We also splurged and got dessert: Mexican doughnuts and Pastel De Chocolate...we are so full!! Best dining experience this week! I am recommending this to all my friends

I thought this was going to be a bad experience because after we were seated it took almost 15 mins for our server to come to our table. But once she got there she was so polite and our food came out quickly. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! We ate so much and it was just so delicious! We will definitely be back! The bathroom was clean too so that is also a big plus!!

The wait wasn't too bad (about 20 mins). The table side guacamole was ok. Surprisingly, the salsa was the highlight to start things off. The shrimp quesadilla was delicious. Iron skillet mixto(large portion) was pretty good as the main entree but not enough tortillas to match. The waitress suggested tres leches dessert, but it was probably the worse I've experienced. The cake was dry and tasted more like pound cake.

By far the best Mexican food ever. The flavor and seasoning was perfect! I eat out alot and this is hands down the best food I have ever had. The bartender Sebastian made our drinks with lots of love. The guacamole is freshly made at the table in front of you 😍😍😍😍🥰 I ordered the Tijuana bowl with shrimp and I surely committed gluttony.....that's how delicious the food was.

We had a fantastic experience here. Met a few friends for drinks/food and wasn't disappointed by anything I tried. The margaritas were strong but delicious. We shared the Queso Fundido & Table Guacamole. Iron skillet tacos & the Enchilada were amazing. Service was top notch as well. Highly recommend if looking for an upscale Mexican food experience.

We had my birthday dinner here with my family. The restaurant is beautiful, love the decor. The food was authentic and the table side guacamole was the best I’ve ever had. The staff was awesome but at times they seemed to be too busy to come around even though it was not a packed restaurant. The music was way too loud, even the waitress complained. Overall, I had a great experience and would highly recommend.

Seriously the best Mexican I’ve ever had. We found it quickly. Got sat quickly and Alex our server brought everything out quickly. Insane quality in food. I will be back when I’m back in Tampa. Highly recommended. The guacamole was to die for and the chicken Souiza enchiladas were insane. 💯

Finally a restaurant we both really like! If you like Mexican food, this is the place for you! They serve chips and salsa and then ask if you want some guacamole! Say yes! So good with jalapenos on the side. Ask for limes if you want a little more zing! We got a second guacamole to put on our food! I got a single serve chicken enchilada with green sauce. My husband got the mixtos. Both were excellent! We highly recommend this place!

Decided to go to Besitos this evening. So glad that we went. The food was amazing. The portions were very fair and the price was beyond reasonable. The server, Jonathan, was super efficient, made sure we had what we needed at all times, and made sure the food was out quickly.

This is a VERY nice restaurant. I didn't know what to expect, but I was amazed at how classy this restaurant was. We were a moderately sized group but fit well in their booths without feeling cramped. The food was very delicious and the waiters were very professional. Definitely, a great date night spot to check out.

I had a great time at Besitos with my family, the food and drinks tasted excellent, the place looked great, the service was perfect. Facundo did awesome the two times I've been here. The soup was amazing, so much flavor, the guacamole was so fresh, they have the best chips and salsa I've had in this country so far, so much flavor. The taste of the steak strips with the eggs was just unrivaled, everything was amazing.

The food was really good. I highly recommend the table side guacamole. Chips were hot and fresh. The steak quesadillas wasn’t the best I’ve had but it was good. The highlight was the divorce margarita. My server Alex and the manager Fabrisio were very nice and friendly. They have a great patio that’s dog friendly. Will go back.

Excellent Food!!! The Birria tacos were not the "typical" birria I've been used to getting other places but they were still really good and I would get them again. Everyone else at the table loved their food too. We did have a bit of a problem with the service but the manager came out on her own and quickly made things right. Probably the best manager I've spoken with at any restaurant ever. Great job on keeping your customers happy. Can't wait to try more dishes at Besito in the future.

I’m a flight attendant here on a layover. I rarely write reviews. After spending all day with hundreds of passengers, its nice to come in and be treated so well. The bartender, Sebastian, was amazing, very attentive, friendly, and recommended some great selections. The margarita was so great, I had to order another. The mole enchiladas were amazing, and I love some chips and salsa. Will definitely be back and will bring other crew members with me.

What a fun and delicious place to enjoy Mexican food. Jennifer was charming and customer satisfaction oriented. We were celebrating my daughter's birthday and she made us all feel right at home. Strongly recommend this restaurant.

Been in the area 3 years and this was by far the tastiest Mexican food I have had and with a very creative flair and mix of tastes. Jonathan was our waiter and excellent.

True Mexican experience

Absolutely fantastic. Everything here is good. Even the side of plain rice is good enough to eat by itself here. Make sure to to get the guacamole, it’s amazing. It was made fresh by our waitress, Danna, who was very friendly, helpful, and an excellent server. I got the Enchilada Suiza, which was savory and amazing. Be sure to get the pickled onions with it. *chefs kiss* My wife got Enchilada Rancheros, excellent. The drinks we got were the Don Julio, which was fruity, and the La Unica margarita which I asked them to add jalapeños to. It was sweet, sour, with a slightly spicy finish. Perfection. A transcendent dining experience. Best I’ve had in a long while. Highly recommend!

Went there for dinner with some friends to celebrate my nephew’s first birthday. We sat outside the ambiance is good, we had a reservation so didn’t have to wait for a table. Our server was also pretty good and responsive. I ordered tacos and carnitas tacos and they were really good! I recommend this place for dinner and special occasions.

The Atmosphere is a vibe, I enjoyed my dinner in the patio area. The food is good , the drinks are good. Everything was prefect. The only thing could have been better is the server. The waiter seemed ready to get off work because he barely checked on our table. I’m still looking forward to visiting this spot again I just hope to receive better service next time.

We sat outside, they had space heaters which was nice for the cool weather. For an appetizer we had the Queso Fundido with chorizo. It had a nice salty flavor and went really well with the chips. To drink I had a mango margarita with Don Julio, it had a delicious strong mango flavor. For dinner I had the Mixtos iron skillet tacos. The sauce was like nothing I ever had before. The flavor was delicious. The only downside was that I wished it was spicy.

My first visit to Besito with extended family and Nathalie made it memorable. Her attention to our needs far surpassed many other restaurants I have frequented. My grandson was enamored with her, and she showed him sweet attention, too. The salsa was phenomenal (coming from Arizona salsa is critical!) and loved the Pico and tomatillo, too! I had the sopa. The flavor was super yummy. A family member had the ribs and said they were EXCELLENT, and the presentation of all entrees was well done. Based off our server alone, our dinner was fantastic and will return soon.

My visit to this restaurant would have received 5 stars but our party of 8 were placed at a folding table inside the main dining area. This resulted in a couple of issues such as the table being too far away from those sitting on both ends. If someone leaned on the table, it moved easily. Lastly, the table shifted towards the end of the dining and some remaining drinks fell over and spilled in some of the ladies, bench, and floor. Our waitress was super nice but I do not recall her name. The food was fantastic. Very good portion sizes, fresh table-side made guacamole, and delicious cocktails. I ordered the Mixto and paid a little extra to add shrimp. The portion was enough to pack up and bring home with me for lunch the next day.

Love to come here every time I visit Tampa. Been 3 years since my last visit and so happy to see the drink menu change. The drinks use to be really gross but now they have a new drink called Tampa vice and its so yummy and beautiful presentation! I also get the MIXTO skillet. So delicious! The decor here is stunning. We normally sit inside but this time we sat in the patio and so glad we did. Gave a really relaxing vibe with the fountain outside. Price wasn't to bad for 2 ppl. We spent $113 with 3 drinks, appetizer, 2 entrées and dessert. Their milk cake (tres leches)was also amazing. Definitely recommend.

Wow! Our food tonight was amazing and our server, Vivi was the best server we’ve EVER had. She was incredibly attentive and made sure we were satisfied with everything the entire time. Lately I feel like customer service AND good food can be hard to find.. but this place had BOTH!! Thank you, Vivi for an awesome experience!

Bibiana was an amazing waitress for us. We had a party of 18, and she handled our table on her own! All the food we had was delicious! Many vegetarian options to choose from. We tried the dessert platter, but all the desserts were only alright. Definitely worth another visit for a meal.

Decided to come get on a overnight for lunch. Service was really good. It was not crowded and the food was really good. I got the tacos and margarita special. Both were great. Def recommend coming here

Can y’all say ambience!? The outside atmosphere is such a cute date spot for any occasion. Oh, did you just ask about drinks as well!? The mango margarita and the red sangria were amazing. For dinner portion of my evening I enjoyed the pollo iron skillet.

I just loved this place! I had 4 different tacos, each one was great... coming soon for sure. Got Churros as a complimentary at the end and they were delicious

Delicious but pricey. I'd go again, but not as a local. More of a tourist trap-feel.

The decor and atmosphere are nice. A bit loud by the bar area, not easy to have a conversation. Service was good. The chips and salsa and guacamole were very good, more authentic, and fresh compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area. However, the entrees left a bit to be desired. The iron skillet mixed plate tasted more Italian than Mexican. Bland tomato sauce and European style chorizo that more resembles longaniza. The tortillas tasted very store bought. Not fresh made. Overall, nothing too special. Shame really. Tampa needs a true upscale Mexican restaurant, imo.

What can i say about Besitos I LOVE IT! Food and service is on point here. Go what are you waiting for!. Its a most, have the taquitos appetizer with a 5 dollar frozen strong margarita at the bar. They give you the best chips and salsa i have had and tacos are delicious also. When you pay they give u churros for free to take home.wow its great here.

We celebrated my birthday at Besitos I enjoyed it and had a wonderful time ,plus the staff are amazing. But what really impressed me is how they keep the distance from each other to keep us safe in this difficult crisis we are going through. The manager is always concerned about the customer's.

It's a gem of Mexican food in Tampa. They have the most delicious nachos I've ever had. Extremely recommended 👌

Overall we were disappointed. Our server had no knowledge of the menu or drink options. He was unable to answer multiple questions that we had about the menu. Multiple parts of our meals were not brought out until we were almost done eating. During the 2 hours we were there our drinks were refilled zero times. At one point one person in our party asked for another drink but our server never got anyone else a drink. They didn't offer to remove any of the dirty plates that were stacking up on the table. Our server never came by to see if we needed anything, we had to track him down a couple times for things but eventually gave up. The food was ok, a couple of the people in our party really liked their meals and a couple didn't.

I was taken here for my birthday and I can say I'm disappointed to say the least. The online pictures looks so good, but pictures can be deceiving. Don't waste your time. There are way better Mexican restaurants than Besito. Even some chain Mexican eateries have better tasting food than here. The best dish that we ordered was the carne asada skillet tacos (and they weren't all that great) but the steak actually had a little bit of flavor. The rest was bland, bland, and more bland with soggy mushy veggies (shredded purple cabbage) that made everything else purple and soggy. I'm surprised this place is still around. Will never eat here again.

Pretty decent food. The sauce in the dish is not very spicy and adds something like pickled beans, adding a unique flavor to the cooked seafood. The cheese in the appetizer was very thick and the beef was very tender and juicy.

Fine place for Mexican food. Looking forward to going back again. This place has a great feel to it. Not close to my job, I wish it was.

The restaurant is very nice with great outdoor seating if not for theb inconsiderate drivers speeding by and revving their engines. The service is excellent and very fast but well paced so as not to feel rushed. The food was generally very good with several unique preparations that are worth investigating. The staples, guacamole and salsa with chips, are amazing. The fresh, quality, ingredients can be tasted in every bite.

Loved the dish I had. Steak with chipotle something. I can't remember the name or pronounce it but it was soooo yummy. Waitress was very knowledgeable and tried to teach us how to pronounce our dishes. So sweet.

Monica is a dynamite bartender and server. Warm and upscale environment. The themed “Dia de los muertes” decor is tasteful and neutral with a few “eye-popping” elements. The guac is superb. Fresh ingredients that you can tell are hand mashed to perfection. Unique and flavorful house hot sauce; A MUST try if you are a sauce conisseur. Have water ready. 😂 Overall five star experience.

Good place, sitting outside and have a drink (sangria 😎😋) and delicious food to eat. Every time good to go there.
