A friend of ours invited us to join them for lunch at the Yummy House. We had never been there but they knew my wife and I like Asian food. When we got there we were quickly seated and asked what we would like to drink. Our drinks came out very fast and the pace of service from that point on was incredible. Our friends did all the ordering and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed every dish. I think they ordered almost everything on the menu so don’t be afraid to order something out of your safety zone, it’s all good.. The restaurant owner stayed on top of our needs and was constantly checking if the food was to our liking. I’m so happy our friends invited us, we probably would not have tried this place if they had not taken us there. I assure you we will be back and encourage everyone that likes real Asian cuisine to try this place. Thanks Ben and thank you Mike and Luna for the invite.

50 min wait in a very crowded entrance. Shanghai dumplings, salt and pepper seafood combo were ok. House fried rice, vermicelli noodles were delicious with the Mongolian beef dish. Service was prompt. Have to try the other location as well.

This review is for Tommy Tang am trying to know how can we come to this. This Yummy House has been one my favorite places in tampa for years(customer since 2015). On my last 3 visits i been rushed with the time. Today 04172022 i arrive at 831 pm and before somebody say hi or hello or welcome to this beautiful place, i quote: “we are close on 25 minutes”. Is rare this a place with a Bunch of trophies and mention on tampa FL one of the best places. This has been the last three time visiting Yummy House. I upload 3 pic one showing the hour to close, and after they kick me out and after that resting 25 minutes to the real close time the swap the sign from open to close, is rude but am hoping one of the manager or somebody can answer me with a real reason why i need to leave one of my favorites restaurant a bad review.

Was craving for Chinese food. Found this place on search and the reviews were pretty good. Pictures of the food items were pretty decent and others were saying that the portions were pretty good size. Decided to try it out. Ordered for pick up. Brought it back to our hotel room (on business trip from California) & was not too pleased with the taste. So much oil, it didn't have much taste to it. We ordered the Seafood Fried rice, seafood chowfun and beef broccoli. The bottom of the rice was so soggy that it tasted like rice porridge. Did not finish it. Broccoli was overcooked. Chowfun was pretty okay. I would not go back for seconds.

Every single time I order from here I am never disappointed!! As a vegan, this place not only has multiple options to choose from but doesn't sacrifice flavor or portion size! I love love love the vegetable fried rice (with no egg of course) and they have the crunchiest spring rolls. Don't forget to add the salt and pepper seasoning mix to your order, this herbal mix will elevate all your dishes. The inside has a very relaxing, upscale atmosphere.

The Dim Sum food was amazing! The food from their regular menu was alright but I could have done without it. I will be coming back and only ordering a bunch of food from the Dim Sum menu. The prices scared me at first but they give you big portions of everything so it was worth it. We had no wait time getting in and our waitress was super friendly.

This establishment is a real crowd pleaser! With a large and extensive menu there is something for everyone here. You're sure to enjoy a lot of authentic Asian cuisine. The meals are big enough to share with your whole table. And thanks to the lazy Susan that spins around in the center of the table it is easy to share and have the food accessible to everyone. I would recommend the Peking duck, calamari, and chicken fried rice! I would definitely recommend going with a group. I would definitely return here and I think you will enjoy this too!

Must go for dim sum and beef chow fun!!! After a bad experience in trying out Chinese restaurants in Orlando, this place is a shining diamond! Very authentic dim sum dishes, almost the same as what we had in Guangzhou. We like this place!

It’s raining ☔️ like crazy. 6:30 Thursday, the phone isn’t being answered - too busy. A pleasant restaurant, cross street from Sanwa. Tap beer, bottled wines, dim sum, Peking duck. I ordered take out, which took 20 minutes. Hunan Beef 湖南牛肉 and Sichuan Beef 水煮牛: - Hunan beef is very sweet - Sichuan beef, way too soft/silky and has peculiar taste, like intestines Both, should be pretty spicy and salty - waste of my time! I called to ask the manager if this is correct, she won’t answer but offered to refund me. For these two, I won’t return - they’re simple to make but taste terrible. But a few friends said their dim sum is good - who knows I’d return for it.

Ordered beef with brocoli and some house fried rice and everything was great. The portions are definitely for sharing or taking home. Everything tasted fresh. The server was very friendly and attentive and the food was served quickly. Even if the area outside isn't pretty the restaurant is very clean and tidy inside and has a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Popular staple for Chinese food in Tampa. They can make ordinary Chinese dishes taste extraordinary. Very lengthy menu with something for everyone. Beer and wine available. Open for lunch and dinner.

Visited Yummy House in Tampa over 8 years ago and it was sooooooo goox and it kept eluding me. I think they even moved from the original place. I came in to Miami and drove about 5 hours to get it this time. I got there at about 2:10 and they told me they had just closed and they will reopen at 5pm. So I waited around until 5, because we had to drive back to Miami and didn't want to waste the entire trip. I'm not even mad about that. So we got back there at 5pm, ordered, food was received in record breaking time. The salt and pepper shrimp was as good as I remembered. But the house lo mein was very bland. It looked unappealing and tasted as such. I also had the Mongolian beef. The beef was okay-tasting.... a solid 5/10 for the beef.. however my main issue was the ratio of beef to veggies in the Mongolian Beef.. it was more like Mongolian Vegetables with a sprinkle of beef. See photos when I separated the beef from the rest of the fluff. Nevertheless the less, I cannot say it is ever worth me driving back, and I have no interest in going back to eat there. Overall: unsatisfied

For the Saturday night I was craving for dumpling so I searched near me and decided to order the food from yummy house china house bistro. I called the restaurant and decided to order pan fried pot stickers and Shrimp with Almond or Cashew. The order was ready in 25 minutes and I picked the order from the restaurant. The restaurant seemed to be nice, clean, well decorated. The food that i got was hot and seemed like freshly prepared. From the food first I had Pan Fried Pot Stickers and they were delicious and i loved the pot stickers. Then I had Shrimp with Almond or Cashew it was delicious and i loved the curry. The vegetables in the curry was perfectly cooked and loved the vegetables in the curry. It was the perfect combination. Will definitely come back and next time will try the food in restaurant.

Possibly one of the best dim sum restaurants in USA. - atmosphere is clean and modern. Not old and greasy - many Asian customers - food was incredibly fast even though many tables placed their orders - dim sum was refined and high quality - dim sum prices is same as most dim sum restaurants in USA

So delicious! The BBQ pork fried rice was definitely the best fried rice I’ve had in Tampa. The salt and pepper calamari was very good. The orange chicken was average. The sweet and sour chicken and crispy egg rolls were also very good. Service was quick and the staff was welcoming and nice. Would definitely recommend coming here for gourmet chinese food.

Absolutely disgusting. I ordered sesame chicken. The pieces were hard as a rock. They deep fried them way too much. Was like eating a hard donut. Even the chicken inside was hard and greasy. $15 down the drain. They don’t even give rice with it.

Food are great. Service not very good. That was Saturday night. We were there 8:30pm and they close at 9:30pm. We order some soup and a few dishes. The server were trying to hurry us. We just finished taking the pictures and start our first spoon of soup, she already bring a container to pack the rest our soup. We were not the only table there. They have a few more table just start ordering food. So if you’re planning to go there go a little early.

Reviews were already good. Just had to try for myself, and wow. Got checked in about 12:15 wait for abot 15-20 mins. Keep in mind I was by myself, they sat me with dad/son and one other person. Very friendly people and environment. Did not mind at all, table was big enough. Had the Shumai (big, well seasoned and soft), shrimp dumpling (tasty, shrimp not too overwhelming and nicely cooked dumpling), pork and peanut dumpling (not a big fan of peanut but regardless ot had good taste), and the Hong Kong style dumpling (soup dumpling with tender dumpling and soup overflowing with flavor). Also went with the house fried rice and beef chow fun. Fried rice was well made, not oily flavor all went well with nothing overpowering. Chow fun is one of my faves, almost always try this at any Asian restaurant. Flavorful and nice pan fry arome. Chili oil was very good too not too spicy too just dip your dumplings on.

The best Chinese food in Tampa. This is one of two Yummy House locations (the other being on Dale Mabry), and while the food is top notch, you should arrive right when they open, or be prepared to wait a while to be seated- this place gets packed on weekends. We love the large family style portions, which ensure everyone at the table gets to sampe everything. As an added bonus, there's generally enough left over that you can get a second meal out of it (or at least a snack)!

Went to Chinese Tea Lunch service today. The traditional food was brought out on a steamer cart and you are charged for a large dish or small dish. Once you have eaten yourself full, the waiter will count the dishes and give you a check for the amount. Yummy House also offers a full menu during the Chinese Tea Lunch. It is one of the better Chinese Tea Lunches served in Tampa.

It is very hard to recommend a place that has bad service. 3 visits, 3 bad experiences, each different. There is an underlying culture of rudeness and impatience. The food itself is very good to excellent. Visually pleasing with good portions. As good as the food is, I will probably never go back. Strike 3, ur out.

Attended a group gathering of about twenty-five or thirty people. Many items will order throughout the menu the food at Yummy House is as fine as its reputation bears. The walnut shrimp was especially excellent! Make sure you understand however the orders that you are placing because some of those items come the kitchen in portions that are large enough to feed two or three people! The service at this restaurant is impeccable the service staff was very attentive and courteous and always kept portions coming. Yummy House would be considered one of the finer Chinese restaurants in town.

I have been eating Chinese food for a long time but never felt like it was truly authentic. But this here makes me want to move into to the restaurant. 😂 Everything is well balanced. That broth in my lo mein was from the beef and Chinese broccoli I poured in. This is absolutely delicious. Just sad my Chinese restaurant is in Tampa and not Atlanta
