Came to this location because it was closer to the beach. Never ever ever again. The waitress was April. She was un attentative. She wasted water on the table while giving drinks and didn't wipe it up. All-around service was BAD!! You would think the service would be great in this area, NOPE. My spinach dip was watery. Bourbon chicken and shrimp were greasy. Yuck!!

Waited 10 minutes to get our drink Waited another 10 minutes for a straw and still did not receive my straw I had to go to the bar and get one for myself. Order our food and Waited another 30 minutes now it's time for me to leave the couple across from us just walked in and order recieved there salad before we got ours after 50 minutes. We canceled our order. The Manger came over trying to explain My Husband than said we did not want anything but to pay for our drinks. He than try to say the drinks are on him My Husband than told him we will pay for our own drinks. We paid for our drinks and left. We will never come here again 😤 I do not recommend this place at all. Service needs a lot of work and respect.

Awful experience here. Me and my two friends went out to get the dollaritas and me and my friend were denied service claiming our IDs were fake. We have all been 21 for a couple months now and I am from NH, my friend is from NY, and my other friend is from Florida. We all go to a nearby college and wanted to go to Applebees, our first location we went to was too busy so then we came to this one. After 30 minutes of driving we were very excited to finally try the dollaritas. The manger checked our IDs and started claiming mine and my friends from NY ID’s were fake. We were shocked. He was very aggressive with us and we could not believe it so we stayed around to try and have another conversation with him. He came over after 10 minutes and barely looked our direction while he cleaned up another table, and just aggressively told us he was refusing service. When I asked about what I could do in the future to be able to come here and have a drink (as I am 21!!!!!), he just ignored me and again aggressively yelled about refusing service. Horrible. Applebees needs to get professional ID checkers or something. Total incompetence. If your general manager only is knowledgeable on the state you’re in, that’s wild. Loosing lots of profit from this, me and all my friends were going to come multiple times this coming week and we were very excited. Unsure of what to do now when I want a drink at Applebees when the manager for some reason won’t serve me as a legal 21 year old. Crazy. Horrible experience!!!!!!!

I placed an order for delivery and the driver was great but the food isn't worth it. The 2 for 22 is a joke since only 4 entrees are included without at least 1.29 more. Yet paying for more might not be worth it since when you pay for extra for the bacon burger with tomato, lettuce and pickle and get an overcooked plain burger with nothing but the patty and the bun and cheese. This used to be a good place to go before all the prices changed and became a complete joke

April- Server Had a great dinner with April as our server. She went above and beyond keeping the dinning room and furniture clean, comfortable and sparkling. April was friendly and timely and the food was great. Thank you for a lovely evening, Great Job!

Not the greatest experience but our server did her best to make it an enjoyable one. Service was very slow and there was an apparent disconnect between the host and the service staff which resulted in our table waiting close to 20 minutes for our drink orders to be taken. The food was its usual quality and the drinks were tasty.

Best bar in south tampa. Nothing like sitting at the bar to watch a game with Dio behind the bar. I just wish they didn’t close at midnight.

Sat down, ordered our drinks, received those. Ordered our food next.. then proceeded to sit there for an hour while we didn't get checked on and watched everyone else around us receive their food. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise, the table and everything around us wasn't very clean. At least we got to watch the game 🤷‍♀️

The waiter I got was very sweet and according. As someone with two jobs I know how much it sucks to work on the holidays so I wish the best for her

Carmen was the nicest server. She was off but still took my to go order and went out of her way for me. Employees like Carmen makes you want to go back again. Thank you for such great service

The bartender Emily literally served the whole restaurant along with another young lady. She had a beautiful attitude the whole time. She could’ve complained because it was busy , but she kept a positive attitude. I just flew in from Norfolk to Tampa on vacation. What a great start to my vacation. She definitely needs a raise !!!

I love this location. They are always quick and the food is good. I always get curbside to go and the attendant is always ready and waiting for me. The food is hot and fresh, as well. I would recommend trying this location if you like Applebees.

Our neighborhood lifesaver when we don't feel like cooking. Food is not bad and it is a good value. Each day they have a special menu for $9.99. They have good kids menu as well. Service is not bad and we like the location and the restaurant itself.

Have given this location a couple of tries hoping that the next time service would be better but every time we go the service just gets worse & worse. Sat at the bar and the bartender just looked at us and told us “she would be right with us” and never came back. Waited for 15 minutes for her to come back and she never did. We ended just getting up & leaving since we were starving. Really BAD experience all around!

Came in 20 minutes after they opened and the place was completely empty. Someone (a gentleman that looked like he could even be the manager possibly?) walked out from the back a few minutes later while my husband and I were waiting to be seated. I asked if they were open and he said yes and continued to do whatever it was that he was doing. It was very obvious he didn’t have a single care. He walked out about 3 more times and just looked over at us still waiting to be seated by a host.. still nothing… finally after about 8 awkward minutes he yells out that we can sit wherever we want. So we grab our own menus and pick a seat. Sit down and STILL no one even comes out to take our order or even acknowledge our presence in the restaurant. Basically we walked out after about 12-15 minutes of waiting by ourselves. 10 out of 10 would NOT recommend!

Never going back first they say us not giving a menu for more than 30 mins then ordered a margarita and wow worst drink I've ever had.. way too much tequila hardly no triple sec and wayyyy too much lime. Then had the chicken with shrimp and garlic mashed. The potatoes were lumpy and raw and I've been throwing up since I got home. Lived our Applebee's over in largo but we moved and wow never will I go back after that! We spent over $60 for lunch to end up flushing it literally!

Decent Chain Food, nothing that is outstanding but generally pretty tasty. As one of the few of these chains remaining, they are on par with their competition like Glory Days. Oh and I recommend the Fiesta Lime Chicken and the Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp. As for burgers, definitely try a Quesada Burger.

Tried multiple times to order online, it wouldn't take my order even after changing every variable possible. So then called in, explained the website wasn't working and needed to place a to-go order...they hung up on us. So we went to Hooters across the street to spend our money.

Takeout was ready 30 minutes after the pickup time. A guy who said he was going to check on our order disappeared. Thanks to a waitress working a table near the door we were kept updated. The guy did check back once and finally arrived with our order. Luckily we checked because it was missing an entree. Keep the chef because the food was good.

An impressive and amazing experience! There were at least 25 people in the restaurant with only 1 person serving. She handled things like a charm. I received my food quickly, I was well attended to, the food was hot and delicious, and it was precisely like I wanted! I’ve been to places that were fully staffed and received subpar service but not here. Great job not making excuses they just made things happen!

Dio was a great bartender. Even though he was very busy and running around crazy, he still made sure he was attentive to my table. Will come back here just to see him!

Ashley is amazing! Every time we come in she immediately greets us and makes us feel welcomed. We love coming in on days she’s working!

Manager Daniel Isse needs to be fired. Totally disrespectful and aggressive. He refused service to me and my friends… for what? We were nothing but respectful and patient with him. When we asked to speak to a manager it took him a half an hour to come over to our table. He threatened to call the cops on us because he claimed we weren’t of age to order a drink. I had both my expired ID and new ID. What a guy. Totally uncalled for. Understandable that he did not want to accept our IDs, but to act and speak to us the way he did was disgusting and disrespectful. I go to Apple Bee’s very often - I will never go back to this location again. I never want to see his angry face again and I hope he does not act in such a way to all of his customers… Disappointed.

Food and service were good. They were out of steak, but we were able to find the food that worked for us.

Dio is one of the BEST bartenders I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. He’s quick and so personable with his customers, and always so articulate with his service. I will only go to this Applebees because of HIM!

The waitress was very attentive and very polite. We were treated like guests!!! The food was amazing!

Sara was amazing she did such a fabulous job taking care of my mother and I on my mother's birthday. She went out of her way to make both of us feel special and is a master of her craft. We will definitely be back and also tell everyone we know to come to this specific location for the service! Second to none!

I haven't been to an Applebee's in years, so took my family out to celebrate a birthday at the Gandy location. I will never go back. The waitress was friendly and accommodating but that's where anything good stopped. Our onion rings were served cold and with bbq sauce for dipping. Who does that? When I asked for them to be replaced with hot ones, the old ones were simply thrown back into the fryer, and returned in a pool of brown grease. All our entrees were served cold as well, having sat for some time after being prepared evidently. My daughter demanded the onion rings and my inedible fish n chips be comped, and to her credit, the waitress was apologetic and did so. Just overall one of the worst meals ever.

I went in to this establishment and had the best service I've ever had at a casual restaurant. Our server Dio was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. The manager came by and introduced himself and made us feel like we were important guests. Great place I highly recommend it!

Gave a one star 🌟 because I had to so I could write a review on this place! The food was terrible! I ordered bourbon chicken and shrimp. Which is supposed to come out on a sizzling skillet with sautéed onions but Instead it came out cold with no onions and no seasoning on the chicken! The chicken was just a grilled no seasoned piece of chicken plus the shrimp was so burnt you couldn’t eat it! My husband ordered a steak which also came out cold and cook the wrong way! He ordered a 8oz steak but got a 6oz ! The best part of the dinner was the spinach artichoke dip and that was even cold! I will never for back to this Applebee’s again!

Waitress took forever to come to our table but had time to talk to other employees plus when we got our food. mine was ok you could tell it was plated like they did not care. Hers had no bread stick and the sauce for the noodles was so watered down that it looked slimy and had a nasty taste did not Evan eat 90% of it. I will say the best part was the desert. Will never go here again worst food ever

I went the other day and my waiter ONLY was attentive to us when we were paying. She was also super awkward and all I wanted to do was eat tbh. She almost forgot to come back to take my main order after my appetizer. Not to mention she also couldn’t be flagged down unless my fiancé raised his voice. Super disappointing. The food was excellent though. The chefs are definitely hard at work

Service was slow and there were very few patrons there. However our wait person was nice and there seemed to be a sudden influx of people so perhaps she got overwhelmed. I got the classic cheeseburger and the 5 tender add on for $1. Burger was ok but beef patty and chicken were dry.

Super friendly front and back of the house staff. Dia is our favorite bartender he's part of the reason we keep going back. Other part is the affordable food and drinks which never disappoint.

Service took forever. We were sat with no menus and waited twenty minutes for our drinks. Server said she was taking us and never did. There was one server taking tables and bartending. Both mine and my husbands food were wrong.

This is the only Applebees I will come to. Dio is easily one of the best bartenders I have ever had. He is super attentive and really friendly. The food is also fantastic.

The dinner was good. The restaurant was clean and our server was very kind. Everything came out on time and as ordered. The atmosphere was perfect. This would have been a 5 Star review but the Blondie with ice cream and maple topping was burning on the hot cast iron Skillet it was served on. I believe Applebees miss the mark and got the Skillet a little too hot. It even tasted burnt. Still a great place to eat and would go again and recommend to others.

It's been awhile. Was looking forward to this visit. Applebee's is one of our favorite go-to places. Wish we had one in Sebring FL. We only have Chili's...no competition. They're terrible. You would surely put them out if you came here. Great waitress. Food was amazing. Fast service. Thank you for a wonderful lunch!!

We had a great time with friends and family. One server for 14 of us and she did an amazing job tonight. Only 1 meal had issue but not one her. Very light and watery sauce on Chicken Alfredo

Called about an application, just wanted to be given a good time to speak to a general manager, as you do with a new job. Was told the manager was speaking and, “Oh your calling about an application? During a dinner rush? I can’t help you” and hung up the phone. I understand I clearly called at a bad time, but that was very unprofessional, rude, and shows the quality of the workforce. I called so I could find out when a good time to call would be, just as you do with every job you apply to- you call to show initiative. I was told to call later in the day by an employee as there’s always a 2nd shift manager. Absolutely absurd the way they treat potential new hires.

I've enjoyed Applebee's over the years but the restaurant has dropped off from the level of quality it possessed before the pandemic. The prices are elevated and they seem to be out of certain foods that was always on the menu such as chicken wings.

I arrived last night to enjoy their burger night to walk in the front entrance of the most disgustingly dirty door I have seen on a restaurant in a long time. That’s the first thing a customer sees and it was filled with greasy smear marks and grossness. We proceed to sit down at our booth, and I look across toward my friend and the window to the right behind us was smeared with all the same disgusting greasiness and fingerprints. Not pleasant to look at when you were trying to dine. The burger was 2/3 the size of the burger they serve up in the Westchase Applebee’s for the same burger night. The fries that are all-you-can eat are mediocre, not amazingly delicious. And we each got a fork and a knife and three out of the four utensils we received were dirty and had to be sent back. I will never dine in this establishment again.

Somebody needs to replace that general manager because his attitude and presentation we’re appalling. Trying to do Uber eats following the instructions set out by the restaurant to the letter and he comes storming to me with a massive attitude. Not even busy either so I see no excuse

Food was good wait staff was amazing. I made a huge mess and cut myself, was the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me in a restaurant. The waitress was amazing and didn't complain and kept a smile on. Would definitely go back if I could show my face back there again lol.
