Went for dinner with my family and was very disappointed in the food. Chicken strips were burned to a crisp and basically inedible. Kids Mac n cheese was cold and clumpy. Fries tasted ok but would have been better if they were hot instead of lukewarm. Service was good….. our server was polite and quick with drink refills. I will not return though…. The food was awful!

Great cozy clean place to eat some good food. Staff is great. Only thing I don't like they use cheap ketchup. But everything else is good. Great staff and great food

The food was okay. Not the best I’ve had which is fine but the staff definitely didn’t do much to help. We had no menus for a while then we had no utensils, they gave us no butter with our toast either so the highlight was really the hot chocolate.

Food worth waiting for!! First time at Metro Diner and went at busiest time on a Sunday on a whim. We waited about 15 minutes. Staff was friendly and attentive even with the place packed. Everyone was smiling. The biscuits with sausage gravy was amazing.. you could taste that it was freshly made FROM SCRATCH. Husband said best he's had in 40 years. The Pumpkin pancakes were light and fluffy with just the right amount of pumpkin. The other items we ordered were equally as delicious, although the breakfast potatoes can do with a bit more seasoning. Can't wait to go back and try something else from their menu. Thank you Metro Diner, Dakota and Scott for a wonderful dinning experience.

Great place for brunch with the family! Portions are big and food is so tasteful. Edit: we are regulars and have enjoyed coming here for a while now. The staff is wonderful, especially Morgan. She is great, very friendly and attentive.

First time eating here place was packed well worth the wait for a table.Great food our waitress was Savannah. Extremely pleasant and cordial. Definitely will eat here again. I had the Bissell Breakfast 2 eggs short stack pancakes hash browns bacon and toast. Absolutely delicious !!

Metro Diner... I have heard about it for years. Finally located one not far from the house and decided to give it a go. Eggs and Chicken Benedict. It looked awesome. It smelled awesome. It had the perfect golf balls on top. It was on a biscuit... I was excited! The eggs were the most perfectly cooked I've had since Toronto a few years ago. The chicken....ehh. it wasn't bad, but all the hype about being homemade, etc. A little over hyped. The biscuits.... delicious. The home style fries....🫢....I tried to like them. I tried to eat them. Nope. Probably the first time I couldn't get some potatoes down. They didn't even get in the picture....😞) The staff was excellent, made up for the potatoes. I may go back to try something else. But at the moment I'm not impressed.

A great place to get delicious food! This place has best breakfast and lunch meals! Food was fresh and delicious. Stuff was nice and friendly. Place was clean. You gonna love their omelets. Also give it a try to avocado toast. Prices are friendly.

Went there because we saw a lot of great reviews. The positives, were: Kind staff (not smiling or energetic looking, but they were coming out of a full house rush). The unsweetened tea is phenomenal! I had no need to put sugar in it, it has such a fresh taste. I saw a lot of great looking plates. I should have ordered the meatloaf, it looked awesome. My boyfriend's food, perfectly cooked the way he liked it. Overall (I didn't use the bathroom) the appearance was clean. The negatives, when we sat at the table, my arm immediately was stuck with pancake syrup. There was a sticky ring left. It was cleaned properly when asked, so I really didn't care. We ordered the Shrimp Corn Chowder, Holy Davoli with a side of Hash Browns, and the Classic Burger with a side of fruit. The soup came out room temperature, affecting the texture, but the flavor was there. Like I said, Holy Davoli with side of H.B., awesome! My classic burger, hardly any lettuce or onion (as seen in picture) and the only one slice of tomato was literally the end piece with the stem root. The cheese was hardened over. The fruit was good and fresh except for the piece of brown lettuce I found in it, as well as a cold French fry (as seen in picture). This has me concerned about cleanliness in the walk-in. They forgot my mayonnaise and I had to attempt more than once to flag someone down, as staff hesitates to look up and around at customers for anyone who may need something. I noticed another customer with the same issue. Burger was cooked to my liking, but lack of toppings definitely brought it down a notch. I watched all the other customers' food around me come out and their's looked awesome. Too bad it wasn't my experience. P.S. the hanging lights and vents could use some freshing up.

A great place to order food when you wake up at 10 am on a Sunday really hungry, or at any other time. The waffles and chicken (specially the chiken) is one of the best I have had. If you want to eat from here in a weekend, chances are the restaurant will be full, but you can always order to go and pickup or have it delivered.

I finally ate at Metro Diner last week. I really enjoyed the breakfast I ordered from their menu. Just in time for fall/October and pumpkin. The pumpkin waffle and bread pudding were so delicious. The waffle was like dessert in itself. The service was quick, and the food was hot as well as it all tasted fresh.

Delicious! First time here and we’ll be back. Breakfast for me lunch for my wife. Sophia our server was awesome!

Chicken and waffles were hot & fresh. The chicken sandwich was good. Our server was very pleasant. Overall, it was a decent meal from the diner.

Burnt home fries Lesser eggs & they put cheese when I didn't select the cheese option Stuffed the pancakes into this little container. Thought I was going to have a good breakfast, but nope.... now I know why it's good to dine in.

This is my favorite breakfast place! Today's experience was amazing as always! The food is PHENOMENAL.. smiling faces greeted us right at the door, our waitress Emily was very nice and professional and even suggested things I had not tried. She was a true gem. The staff are friendly, even the gentlemen who wiped down are table was so pleasant! If I could give 10 stars I would!! Way to go Metro! 💕😍

These 2 little pancakes were 7$. The Bissell is good and worth the price but this is laughable. The service is decent in person. Their online ordering system needs improvement. We ordered at 0939 and they said it would be ready at 0955. The food was ready at 1013 and they said they didn't get the order until 0958. Unless punctuality isn't a factor, then only go in person. And get one of their meals. Not this garbage short stack of pancakes. The kids pancakes costs less and comes with more. Metro should be ashamed for selling this.

We ordered way more food than the pic I posted, but we were so hungry that this was the only one I could take before it was all gone. I don't give 5 stars loosely, but they hit the mark on everything you would expect. I had the meatlovers omelet and the chicken and waffles. I had the chicken strips not to deal with the bone. Their strawberry butter was amazing. The blend of hotsauce and syrup for the chicken was a great touch. My omelet was packed with meat and fluffy. My brother in law got the croissant French toast, and he loved it. Everyone was happy with their meals. I wish I had remembered our server's name. She was extremely pleasant and efficient. It took a while to get seated because it was a little busy, and our group was big. She saw we were hungry and didn't waste time getting us our drinks and our food. Would definitely recommend and would visit again when in the area.

Went in for the first time ever this last week, service was awesome. I wasn’t super satisfied with my meal however, but I’m pretty sure it was more so the food I chose and not the cooks fault or anything like that; probably just wasn’t the best item on the menu haha! But my boyfriend seemed to enjoy his. All the staff there seemed great !! Will return 😁

There was a short wait and the waitresses/hostesses were friendly. The food was good. Two stars is for the sign stating “turn times are ATROCIOUS” in pain view where guests can see. Also during my whole time there, the manager (shorter white women in a metro diner blouse) never came to visit the table as most do in restaurants. She also never smiled once, not while talking to guests or employees. Employees were happy but management seems miserable

My parents took me here last weekend and I fell in love. The chicken and waffles with strawberry butter were ahhh-mazing! Perfectly cooked and crispy. I dont like hot sauce but the waitress (sorry I didnt get her name, she was excellent) convinced me to try the hot sauce and honey combo and it was delicious. Portions were huge. Service was great and although crowded, it was extremely clean. I can't wait to return.

Had brunch here with an old coworker. This place has a real down-home kind of feel. Great little place! The food was excellent, and the portions were healthy. The service was excellent. Our server's name was Dave, and he offered a few suggestions that were helpful. I had the chicken pot pie 🥧 which was the bomb 💣! My friend had the eggs benedict, and she couldn't stop talking about it. We'll definitely be back.

This visit was my second chance. I came to this location years ago, and it was not a good experience. Tried again this morning, and I must say the food was delicious, but the service was awful. No, I did not go in acting like a princess, but this IS a full service restaurant after all. My friend and I were greeted and seated immediately; however, after 15 minutes or so had passed, we had to ask for our server. She came over, apologizing and telling us she forgot about us. Fair enough, no problem. I have done this job and I know it is hard and chaotic at times. She then proceeds to cough and sneeze while taking our order.....Food comes quickly, she checks on us after a few minutes, and then we never see her again until the end after another server had brought our check out, explaining that our server had a large party come in. So we were pretty much abandoned after that. No refills on our coffee, no follow up visit to the table. Had to once again hunt someone down to take our money. Our original server finally shows up, but that was enough for me. Strike two. Probably won't be back. And I know from experience that an uncrowded dining room doesn't necessarily mean you aren't busy, but come on now.

My waitress Emily was the best. She was very attentive to our needs. She made this experience nice. Ask for Emily you will not regret it!!

Right when we walked into this place we knew it was going to be good just from the smell of the food being cooked!! Then our waitress Sophia was literally one of the best waitresses we’ve ever had & we travel the world. When we asked her what was the “fan favorites” were she listed off about 5 things and knew what was in all of them! Exactly. So 5 STARS for sure and when the food came out it came out super quick and was amazing & different! GREAT JOB!
