I'm very dissatisfied with everything. First thing, the room was no smoking but there was definitely a tobacco/marihuana smell. Second, the bathroom was not clean, there were hairs in the tub probably from previous customer. I had already checked in and they don't do refunds so I went all the way to Walmart, bought cleaning products, towels, and sheets to be able to stay there. When I was about to check out, I called and there was no one at the reception. A cleaning lady approached me and said there's no one there, I can take the keys. I called the hotel property directly hoping to speak with someone to see if it was ok to give her the keys, no answer, so I just handed her the keys. Before that, I almost forgot to mention, I also noticed a cockroach in the counter and I took photos that will be attaching below. Last thing, there's no security, I didn't feel safe at all, there was even a lady walking around naked. And yes, she was staying at the hotel, I saw her myself walk out of her room and mind you, nobody cared or said anything to her. I paid 144 for this hotel, not including 25 dollars that I had in points with Expedia, meaning that the actual cost for the night originally was 169 dollars. I was hoping to get something decent for that price but I was wrong. Please don't stay here!!!

East Lake Inn is close to the Hard Rock Casino in my opinion that is about the only thing it has going for it besides being well lit and most likely a safe place to stay. The lighting in the room was awful and kept blinking on and off the shower still had soap in the tray from the previous guest, it is an older Motel that has been run down and a fair attempt to modernize but not much success. We paid $80 for a room on a weeknight while there were no events in town that we were aware of, we only drove down there to purchase a new tow truck. I would not recommend this place unless you had no other choice, although the guy at the window was friendly he did not seem to be very helpful when we explained the cleanliness of the shower after all it was the next day and he had already received our payment. I would not be afraid to stay there again but I would definitely explore other choices. Thanks for reading my review if you find it helpful please click the like button.

Sketchy at best. We wanted a place close to the fairgrounds and not have to pay a fortune. Check in was easy. You do all your business through a window. The room had a microwave, fridge, and hair dryer. There was no coffee maker and no coffee available at the office. Make sure to wear slippers at all times as the floor is very dirty. The towels, although clean, were dingy looking. The bedding consisted of a sheet and bedspread. The worst was all the activity in the parking lot on Friday and Saturday night. We had a decent location (room 103) near the office hidden away. If you are a single woman traveling, I definitely would not stay here. We were in a non smoking room. I had my hubby come outside with me to smoke cuz I didn't feel safe.

Staff are good people but watch your back won't rob you and it's a excellent price break from the hard Rock and in walking distance

I'm a Submariner a disabled veteran on third day I had a accident. I fell 35 feet on a Submarine and hit the steel floor. I had 2 surgeries. I fell when I was 19 years old I was operated on when I 🤔 was 41 .I'm now 59. I haven't been the same since. My pull ups leaked and two came out. Let the Manger know and had to pay for the sheets pay for chair 💺 🙄 and then pay for the 2 days for the weekend. After the weekend was over I was greeted by the sheriff told me I had to leave. I had kill roaches all weekend just be okay with the room 108. If you need a room then help yourself. Just remember that I telling you to bring your 🐜 and roach spray. May God keep you 🙏 safe in his arms. Stephen.

Stayed 2 nights, nice staff. Close to food and entertainment, about 1/4 from denny's and 1/2 from the hard rock casino. Price was fair. Was in town for a concert at the tampa fairgrounds.

Ok to be honest it honestly only gets a 3 star because it's a solid walk to the nearest store it's nice if you want to walk a half mile round trip to save gas but definitely sketchy crossing the main road even at the crosswalk at the lights cause it's Tampa and half these mfs have no respect for pedestrians even if they have the right of way

The #1 best thing about this motel is its location which is a couple blocks away from the Hard Rock casino.

Beautiful hotel, sheets were hard as a brick and AC wasn’t all that but it was cool. Rather would stay at the Tampa Inn near Busch gardens

I rate this 4 stars. For a motel it has the basic necessities; Food, Fridge, TV[Cable], AC. I stayed here 2 times both on the second floors. The rooms are cleanly, employees are nice and leave you be. Some things that I would recommend bringing. Shampoo/Shower Products[They only have barred soap], thicker bedding[The bedding is thin but it does the job], Breakfast[Such as cereal as the closest food is a Dennys a little less then a mile away. Or a Wawa in the other direction. This motel also is <5 miles of the Hard Rock Casino, and Florida State Fairgrounds.

I wouldn't recommend these rooms to anyone the staff is rude. They're nosey it's ants everywhere they overcharge you. The maids steal they don't respect your privacy it's noisy because of the fire station. Rats run around the water isn't cold enough the sheets smell old they went from 86 dollars to 99 dollars and they're rooms aren't even worth it. Not at all if you're a tourist or trying to get out for tonight I recommend you find a better hotel this isn't the one for you. The air conditioning system be Dusty as hell. It's just not worth all the money they charge you.

One star for the location being a three minute drive to the casino, zero stars for $140 a night with no air-conditioning and the rudest, most ornery motel clerk we have ever encountered.

Stayed here after a night out at the hard rock drinking. 15m walk from the hard rock so no worries about driving or ubers. Room was nice and clean. Front desk guy was nice. Overall cheap and worth it. Will stay again in the future.

The service was horrible, the rooms were spacious but poorly maintained and housekeepers were rude and hostile🤬

This place didn’t have hot water. For $113 for late night, it should have been a little cleaner.✌️
