Great little place, a hidden gem. I was completely blown away with their dog friendly atmosphere. Maximo was the immediate voice upon entry, bringing the attention directly ahead . His attention to detail on menu items and contents within the quaint eatery were superb. He provided an interesting ghost tale of the shops history and owners. Breakfast mirrored the eatery in presentation and taste!! MAGNIFICENT. The owner brought bacon and bones out to the table as complimentary snacks. Murphy and Spencer spent the remaining hour lying on the cool floor, enjoying the friendly customers. Bonus points for the cozy bathroom. **Please note that the owner may have her cat present and will not tolerate unruly pets inside. The patio does have outside seating available.

Adorable little store to grab some homemade jam & have lunch. 2nd visit was nice, lunch delicious, but no seedless jam in stock.

Such a delicious breakfast! I had the figgy piggy and it was such a treat. I was hesitant at first, but the combo of savory and sweet is perfectly balanced. Also they have a great variety of local goods in the store, I picked up some raw honey that was so tasty. Definitely worth a stop in if you haven't been there before!

A great little hole in the wall place that takes you back to country store living. Not only can you get breakfast and lunch, but you can get foodstuffs to go, like a jar of vanilla peaches, or a fresh baked loaf of marble rye bread, or various flavors of preserves including gator, all made locally. Stop in for a sasparilla and a Cuban! Worth a stop!

My husband took me here the other day for the first time. This is a frequent stop for him on the way to work and he raves about it often. The food today wasn't as great as he says it usually is, late Sunday evening staff. My husband says they usually add more meat to their sandwiches and they were also out if the gator chicken salad. Overall it was still a wonderful experience, the little shop is lovely! I will definitely be back again.

Had the chicken salad sandwich. Was pretty average. Should have asked to have it toasted. Fair price and good customer service. Many unusual goods to choose from from a jar of Bartlett pears to homemade jams and salad dressings.

I was excited to try this place as it looks nice from the street. Looked up their menu on their website, seemed reasonable. Inside the store the prices have been erased, not a good sign, but I was already there. Learned upon ordering that items are $2-3 more per item than what they list currently on their website, and no longer come with a side (website says they do). I understand inflation, economy etc but some transparency ahead of time would be nice. On top of this the Cuban was not good. Pretty dry, nothing special at all.

Love the vibes of this place, plus the omelette I had (the Beach Bum) was great and was able to have my dog with me (I sat outside, but dogs are also allowed inside).

Neat General Store with home made items. Very unique items for sale. Take a few minutes and check it out. They serve some good sandwiches.

This family-run restaurant has great comfort food with a Cuban twist. Our family of four was split 50% breakfast food and 59% lunch. We highly recommend the Cuban breakfast sandwich with bacon, eggs and cheese on Cuban bread. It is big enough to share! The chicken salad sandwich and turkey sandwiches on marble rye tasted fresh and were very filling. The restaurant also sells preserves, local honey, craft sodas in 4-packs, Old Florida chips and cool cutting boards made by a local craftsman. The staff and their gray cat will make you feel at home. Finally, prices were very fair for the large portion sizes.

Try breakfast or lunch at this sit-down eatery. There are ample choices from the menu. I tried the Nature Boy which was an omelet accompanied by veggies, fruit, and toast. The iced latte was good. Service was very friendly! I was pleasantly surprised to see the changes from a year or so ago, like espresso drinks and more tables. It was fun to browse and buy from their novelty food items. I picked up sweet potato tortilla chips.

Have been to this adorable general store a few times. Their soup and sandwiches are so delicious! Their desserts are also to die for. Everything tastes so fresh and the portions are generous. Plus they have a resident cat who is so cute and sweet!

This place is definitely a great place for breakfast! My family and I were planning on eating at Tripp's Diner, but they are always packed, and they never have parking. So, we decided to ride down the road to check this place out, and we're glad we did! French toast is superb!

Supporting local businesses is easy when they have great products and fair prices for the portions served. The food is always fresh and flavorful here. Their baristas make delicious coffee drinks. Service is fast and it doesn't feel like the workers are on cruise control doing a job they dislike (like many other places).

Stopped by this cute General Store. Staff was super friendly. The goods sold here were just adorable. Had the Hampton Hample....what a delicious combo of flavors. Definitely will be back!!!

We have come here several times over the last 6 months. Food is always good with homemade taste. Love the ambiance of the indoor section and the wide selection of jams, relishes, and other goodies. I bought jams for others as Christmas presents and ended up getting some for myself as well!

Cute spot, great atmosphere and service. Food was pretty good as well. Their breakfast reminds me of my mom’s back home. Portions are perfect. We also tried their fruit tart and lemon tart, not overly sweet just perfect —which is not common in Tampa, most desserts in this area are overly sweet.

We just planned to “stop in” and grab something quick, but had no idea what we were stumbling across. The nicest staff - the gentleman taking our orders said he was brand new, but was SO nice and did such a great job! My husband got a breakfast Cuban and I had a lunch sandwich - we loved the option at 10:30am to choose. Literally the best sandwich of my life. The bread was amazing and the turkey and ham were such great quality. I wish we lived in Tampa - I would be there all the time! Love to see the family / team atmosphere these days.

I pass this place all the time and finally decided to stop. It's a quaint Mom and Pop shop with local treats and beer. You can find local pasta sauces, pasta, wine, beer, honey and chocolate!!!! I tried the Figgy Piggy sandwich today. It was a good, light breakfast under ten bucks. My only complaint was the Applewood bacon consisted of only 2 slices at most spread across a generous sized sandwich.

Oh I love this place! It’s so cozy and the food is always super comforting: biscuits and gravy, corned beef soup, pepper steak soup, breakfast, you name it. It’s always fresh and always good! They also sell a blueberry jam made by Terrapin Ridge that I can’t get enough of. It pairs so well with goat cheese 🫐🧀

I had the raspberry lemon cake today, 12/29/2021 and it was quite possibly the best piece of cake I have ever eaten…also had some coffee drinks and breakfast sandwiches which were fantastic! They came with the best breakfast potatoes I have ever been served…Great work keep it up…

This is my 2nd stop to this quaint little gem. Staff is friendly and the food is excellent. My mom and I shared the Heights breakfast Cuban and they had split the order on 2 plates without asking. If you ever get the chance, stop in and have a bite.

I ordered the Hampton Hample on Marble Rye bread. This sandwich is delicious. The staff here are very friendly and the prices are great. This place has been on my "Want To Go" list for awhile now, and I'm glad I finally decided to come! There's also indoor and outdoor seating (with fans) which is a plus! I will be back!

Okay, I swear I thought this place was going to be awful and it was exactly the opposite. I had a Cuban sandwich which I've never had before and it was just great! The bread was perfect, the meats were great, great sandwich. The atmosphere is very homey with old tractors, barrels, and trucks around to give it a country feel. The staff and service were very good. Worth the trip.
