I chose this location because it was near the airport and we arrived well after midnight. The woman working the front desk on 4/4 was very nice. The room looked nice but the bathroom sink had pubic hair in it and there appeared to be semen on the bathroom wall above the sink.. we were so tired and just wanted to sleep. However, the sheets had a lot of hair and toenail clippings in them which made me think the room had not been cleaned and sheets had not been changed prior to our arrival. My daughter and I were so tired we just put our clothing from the day over the pillow cases and wiped the bedding off. The floor also looked like it hadn't been vacuumed. I did not sleep much because our room (114) was right by the lobby so we heard people coming and going all night long. I rarely give poor ratings but this was just beyond gross. The next morning when we checked out they said sometimes the driers to get everything out of the sheets, but these were definitely NOT clean. I will not stay here again.

Dirty roach infested rooms!! Do NOT stay here! We checked into our room and I immediately checked for bed bugs. We only had one sheet on our bed and the mattress and bedspread were filthy. While deciding what to do about the room, a roach crawled across the carpet. We grabbed our bags and checked out. The staff explained to us that "The roaches usually don't go into that room". They would not refund our money and even charged our card twice! Avoid this place at all cost!!

I was coming to Tampa on business for 30 days and unfortunately made reservations here. The location was extremely poor in customer service, poor in cleanliness and felt very unhealthy and unsafe. Management and customer service were horrible to me. Upon arrival the place was disgusting. Every trash can outside of the building and in the lobby were running over with trash. The elevator was filthy with dirty fingerprints all over the stainless steel. Dirt was all over the walls in the hallways and lobby. The floors throughout the whole building were filthy and looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned in months. It was the most disgusting place I ever seen. The hallway smelled of marijuana, and the room smelled of mold. The sheets and pillowcases were not changed on my bed there was hair present on the pillow as if someone had been sleeping on it. Carpet in the room looked disgusting and the room itself was completely run down with rust in the sinks and dirt on the refrigerator door handle. Eventually I couldn’t overlook the conditions anymore, so I went to the front desk to checkout because I wasn’t going to stay in an unhealthy and unsafe environment for 30 days. During checkout I was treated horribly by the lady at the front desk. I called to check on my refund and was hung up on by a man at the front desk. These people are rude and have horrible customer service. I still haven’t received my refund. The man who I spoke with said they need to discuss the situation with the lady who was there that night before I can be refunded. My response was “that has nothing to do with the fact that I never stayed a night and deserve a refund” he hung up in the middle of me talking. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! At this point I don’t recommend any Extended Stay America

Am staying here for the next 6months- year for work. The girl at the front desk at check in "manager i think" was beyond nice and welcoming. The rooms are large enough for a family to stay in comfortably and the oven is an added bonus. been here for a few weeks now and have 0 complaints what so ever and look forward to not only staying here but referring people i know to this location moving forward. P.S the location is very quiet and kind of tucked back just a bonus.

Such an unpleasant experience. Due to a late night emergency, this hotel seemed like the best option for me and my family for a night stay. WORST MISTAKE EVER. The corridor on the 3rd floor smelt so bad, the bathroom seemed as if it wasn’t cleaned before I checked in, there was no trash bin in the room, the pull out sofa mattress was very dirty and smelt awful. The room and hotel in general is stained with tobacco/cigarettes scent. The mattress on the actual bed had no mattress cover and so no protection/ not hygienic. I regretted this stay the second I stepped in the elevator- I felt like I was in an unsafe and abandoned establishment. There was pet hair everywhere! I woke up the next morning with terrible sinus congestion! I spoke with the front desk agent, Angel, and he changed our room however the 2nd room was not much better. I’ve never slept so uncomfortably in my Entire life! It does NOT require a Diamond rating hotel to see that the operation of cleanliness and health policies at this hotel needs major work and improvement! I would NEVER stay at this hotel even if it was my only option! It has also impacted my expectations of the hotel brand / franchise “Extended Stay” on a whole. There are other hotels in similar price range as this one ($140-180per night) in the Tampa area and they are in far better condition as this. This is simply unacceptable for a place to host any HUMAN BEING!

Service with the night check in rep was wonderful…very friendly. We needed a last minute room, getting off our flight after midnight, as our other hotel was overbooked and our reservation canceled. Nothing else was available nearby. However, when we got to our room, the smoke smell was overwhelming. The room felt very dirty and the floor was stained. When we pulled out the sleeper sofa, there were no sheets nor blankets, and the mattress was extremely stained. We couldn’t use it. The room was dirty, loud, smelly, and there were dogs barking down the hall most of the night. We couldn’t wait to get out of the room fast enough.

I would honestly give it 0 stars, but that’s not an option. We were in a bit of bind so we booked this hotel for 2 nights. As soon as you walk in, you can smell weed growing somewhere, it was so pungent. Our room was absolutely disgusting! The pillows were dirty, along with the carpet, and bathroom. The carpet had some disgusting stains and I was afraid to walk around in my bare feet. The room smelled horrific, like mold. We tried to air it out and it wasn’t working. Not only was the room a mess, the parking lot was too. People were in the lot having “too much fun” in a car right out the front door. It was the worst hotel I have ever been in, and for the price, I expected a lot more. Do not waste your time here, spend the extra money to have a clean, safe, and overall better experience. Check the reviews on yelp too, if these aren’t enough.

entire place smelled like weed. everyone was shirtless and barefoot and dogs were everywhere. bugs in the oven. toilet broke and wouldn’t flush. the fitness center is not operational, which was not mentioned online OR when we called and asked. staff was nice. very gross hotel. elevator looks and runs like an ancient relic. hallways are very dark. stayed one night and then canceled reservation.

We probably stayed in the room for 2 mins and ran out. Our flight was cancelled And had no place to stay. Once we came the front lady was nice but once we entered the room there was feces and urine all over the bathroom seats, bugs everywhere, tables looked like they had drug residue, dirty ear q tips everywhere, and the tub had hair and spit everywhere. STAY AWAY.

Hands down the WORST customer service experience I have ever had. Do not even bother making a late reservation no one will come to the desk, I waited OVER AN HOUR even contacting the company’s customer service and they could not even get anyone to show up. By the time someone (a young, rude male) showed up, he became bothered quickly I was on the phone with customer service and said therefore I was giving him a “hard time” even tho I did not, as I have worked customer service all my life. Of course I wasn’t happy with my experience at that point but in no way acted unkind to the employee. He refused to help me and so after discussing with customer service and them profusely apologizing for said males awful behavior, this company could not even place me at another location. Two hours later I completely gave up, exhausted. I recommend the Ramada they were extremely quick and helpful, and understanding which was wonderful especially considering I had to be awake in just three or so hours again for work. NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY. Not worth the bother, that’s for sure. And I was still charged for the room to top it off. I’d give zero stars if possible, and be making sure no family or friends use this company

I stayed in a lot of hotel rooms in this place was by far the worst. Booked a room for four guests and was only given two pillows. When I called the front desk I was informed that they didn't have any more pillows. Rooms were very dirty and the whole place smells like urine.

I wish I read reviews before booking here. We arrived a little after midnight after a late flight to find our room had obviously not been cleaned. The room smelled and there was hair, crumbs and unknown stains all over the bedding. The only reason I am giving two stars is because the man at the front desk was very apologetic and got us into a new (clean) room ASAP. You get what you pay for here for sure.

Apparently posting a bad review has led to hotel management asking me a 64 year old disabled man to be asked to leave the hotel that is being paid for by a contractor who caused damage to a sprinkler system in my senior community apartment. They fell a serious of fabrications will be enough to get me to leave. They asked my apartment manager to break the news to me .If is not going to happen. SincApril 8th I have captured and killed 20 cockroaches and for nearly six weeks have been told the exterminator will soon be there. I have kept them in a pill vial as evidence. They have asked employees to lie about interactions involving me. I am not going anywhere .

I immediately had to go to a nearby Walmart and get my own cleaning supplies. Upon entering my room the first day, I noticed the floors weren't even swept, let alone mopped. Our feet were black after walking on them. The towels had stains and someone else's hair tangled into each of them. The entire hotel stunk extremely bad. The bathroom sink had someone else's spit all over it. The bathtub still had hairs and a small bug. There was even a Lizard in the shower. The drawers had dead cockroaches in them. There were toys under the bed from previous guests. In the 7 days of us staying here, the cops were called on guests twice, one of which got her kids taken away by DCS. It was constantly loud with couples arguing and cussing each other in and outside od the hotel. Our outlet in the bathroom did not work and another outlet was just hanging as you can see in one of the photos. If you want your room cleaned, or need more towels or toilet paper, you have to ask them cause they will not bring it to you. Breakfast consists of a dry muffin and a pack of oatmeal. The pool looks nothing like the photos. It was so slimy and had hundreds of leaves in it along with a million hairs constantly getting on us. The only positive thing I got out of this stay was that the washer and dryer took debit cards so we didn't have to deal with a bunch of coins. And the man at the front desk at night was exceptionally nice and very helpful. Do not let the pictures online fool you, this place is nothing that it seems. I do not recommend staying here if you want a clean, quiet place to stay.

The rooms were poorly maintained, and smelled of smoke. The hideaway sofa bed was stained and clearly dirty, but staff did provide new linens on request. In terms of layout it was nice, but the cleanliness was a real turnoff for me.

The cleanliness and quality of the room was what you'd expect to get if you paid $50. Pros: Quite close to the airport, service is decent, and has an actual stove and refrigerator for extended stays. Cons: The whole place stinks, the floors aren't swept, and it doesn't feel clean at all. People are loud and out and about at all hours of the night. The person above us must've been trying to clean because you could hear them scrubbing their table aggressively multiple times during the night.

It honestly feels like a motel. It's very outdated. The hallways and the rooms are dark and gloomy. The hotel smells old and moldy and has a hint of cigarette smell. There was a patch of carpet missing. The appliances are from the Stone Age. I will say that the rooms are very large. This place has so much potential if they would just change the lighting and change the color of the walls. Also, it's not enough to just vacuum the carpets. They need to be shampooed as well, to get rid of the smell. Usually, if I go somewhere like this, I usually get itchy, and surprisingly enough, I wasn't, which I take as a good sign. We ended up getting a different hotel the next day. Pictures are not needed. Just take my word for it. It is close to the airport, though.

Worst hotel I ever stayed at. The cockroach problem is out of control, rooms and halls smell like cat spray and dog urine. The manager kept dodging us. Walls and windows are filthy. The toilet barely flushed. Cigarette butts in the pool. Trash cans overflowing in the stairwells. The housekeeper opened the door to our room talking about check out 2 hours before check out time!!

Room 128 has roaches, saw some around a/c unit, and have got on the bed, cant sleep thinking of them crawling around!! smh take care of the problem, travelers come by here and are probably spreading the roaches into their own homes!!!

It was my first time here with my finances and it was not good, we had to switch rooms 3 times because the toilet was broken in all rooms..Not only that, they have roaches ..My babe is getting up killing bugs.....Also they have people hanging around the building with dogs looking like crackhead people..Just dirty...We will never return to this place and will no recommend anybody to stay here....No breakfast here, just coffee, hot tea and a snack bar. ,(Wow)

I have stayed in extended stay hotel a lot before when I travel. This was by far the worst experience and won’t stay in them again. First I had to clean pee off the toilet seats. The room was cleaned with bleach, and within a few days the bleach smell wore off, and all you smelled was cigarettes in a non-smoking room. There was no kitchenette set to cook with or silverware, and that is the main reason I book extended-stay hotels. I was told they don’t have anything in stock for kitchens. The room was filthy and the walls in bathroom had stains on them. When I asked front desk can they do anything to accommodate this, they told me no.

  • 1/5 Bruce C. 5 months ago on Google
There is no way to adequately describe how bad our experience was. We got to the front desk at 11:45 at night. There was no Desk Manager there. We found out later that he'd gotten wasted and was asleep in the next room. We called corporate and told him about the situation and there wasn't anything they could do. The front desk guy even left his master key which I verified by opening the utility room door on the counter. After waiting for about an hour we finally called the police and when they showed up the flashing lights woke him up and he showed his face. They had lost our reservation and we had to pay a second time. Just an awful awful awful experience. The next morning we went down for a second cup of coffee and they removed the coffee at 9:30 a.m. they claim there's a breakfast and that equals a packet of dry oatmeal.

Sounded like and looked like a very nice hotel on the booking app, But once me and my wife arrived we knew there was something sketchy about this place the people walking around outside and inside looked like felons they where smoking in the halls on the way to their rooms just typical off the street bumb people plus the walls were scuffed up to hell and back dirty floors the hotel smelled like cigarettes and wet dogs, I really wasn’t thinking about it because we flew in very late and just wanted to sleep. Not only was the lobby and first floor disgusting it only got worse when I got to my room first off I payed for a king bed suite and the bed was not a king size bed it was a full size bed there was dust every where the floors were sticky and the room had a mold smell to it plus the toilet wasn’t working well the water pressure in the shower was terrible and everywhere in the room the paint was peeling off then the icing on the cake was when we woke up to a cockroach on the counter next to the stove …. Yes a cockroach I went down stairs showed the front desk guy I believe his name was angel he seen my photo and didn’t even argue about it he quickly refunded me my whole amount plus the deposit

Everything was ok the first night, if you don't count the friendly man who twice in the span of 30 seconds, as I parked my vehicle to go up to my room right after check-in, approached my driver's window, without care of the legality of extreme violence being directed his way without further action required on his part, each time welcoming me and asking very directly if I wanted to buy any weed or mushrooms. 20 years ago, I'd have told him I was already holding, but this is a few days ago, and he struck me immediately as a narc, until the moment when he arrived at my passenger door some 10 seconds after I politely declined his offer of illegal substances for purchase, at which time he channeled Arcot Ramathorn from Super Troopers, with a perfectly delivered repeat of his entire speech. This dude was tripping balls, but clearly harmless. The second night, I had issues paying for the room. Even though I possessed on my person cash, credit, and debit, none was satisfactory. I was forced to cash app drop from a nearby gas station. Annoying as hell. Anyway, no big whoop. No roaches FTW. That's the primary functionality of the professional hotelier, here in Sunny Florida. If you keep the roaches out of my Fruity Pebbles, the double take greeting from a wasted-faced dude hippie flipping in another dimension will be forgiven, and I will schlep to do my banking at Thornton's, errry time..

I made reservations here because of its proximity to the airport and a late flight. I then we arrived they had not kept the reservations and were booked solid. 2:00 AM and 7 people out into the night. No help from them. Could care less. Never dealt with such an awful business. Do not recommend at all.

Dated, dirty, and dark. This hotel could use a good scrubbing from the front lobby forward. The one saving grace is the young man working the front desk. He was friendly and very accommodating. But he can't do it all by himself...

The GM here Sandra, is truthfully in my opinion what makes the place great. She's very understanding of issues her guests may be dealing with. Myself for instance moved 1500 miles away from my home town to start over where I could have a fresh start and new opportunities. I have been struggling keeping a roof over my families head even with working a fourty hour a week job sometimes and she has been very helpful and understanding like I mentioned already. The rooms are decent and spacious and there is an on site gym, washer and dryer access, as well as a pool. Several restaurants, and department stores around for your needs as well. Would definitely recommend. ✌️😊

I can only speak on my room so my rating is for my room only. The room is AMAZING! It's 2 queen size beds, a full kitchen which includes full size fridge, oven and stove top with 4 burners but only 2 work which is fine. There's a built in nook with bar stools so you can eat in the kitchen which is awesome. When we checked in the from was spotless. There is no daily maid service which i love but if you need fresh towels or linens you can bring your old ones to the front desk and exchange them or if you find a maid you can exchange them with her. The grounds are pretty much kept clean, they do allow pets & there is a sign telling you to clean up after your dog but not everyone does but you wouldn't know unless you have a dog yourself & walk out on property in the grass. They have 3 washers & 3 dryers that work great only issue is there's not more of them. They also have a small work out room but it's been closed due to repairs and lastly there is a pool, it always looks clean and I've seen an outside pool company come and clean it so that's a plus. All in all I would definitely give this hotel an A. Prime location, beautiful rooms and great accomodations oh and the price you can't beat it. Make sure if you do decide to stay at an extended stay America property to sign up at ESA. Com for member perks.

Do NOT stay here!!! This is a very dirt and nasty hotel.. I literally walked in, canceled my reservation and ran out.. I have NOT yet received my refund for this canceled reservation and this has been on-going for over a month now. There shouldn't be any stars at all..

Have stayed here on multiple occasions and every time the staff has been more then helpful, rooms have been clean, and overall affordable. We have a 3 year old girl who even the housekeepers interact with treat us and our little one with the upmost respect. Maryann the manager is always beyond helpful with any need you may have. Thank you again from our family to yours.

Great staff, great people. I have been staying here for a couple months with my 2 girls in between moving and have been nothing but welcomed by staff and other people staying here. I’ve stayed here a couple year back, when a different manager was running the place, Maryann the manger now, has completely changed the place and has made it so much nicer, cleaner & is always on top of things. Staff are all always super nice and helpful. 10/10 would stay here again and every time I need a hotel in the area.

This hotel needs TLC. Pictures do not give the right idea. My room smelled musty, shower had no water pressure, the cabinets were falling apart. Breakfast consist of coffee, a muffin, and a granola bar.

We stayed here on the last day of our 10 days trip to florida and it was a very comfortable stay. The front desk staff was welcoming and very helpful. The location is great and within 5 minutes drive from the airport. Our favorite Indian restaurant was also nearby so that was a bonus.

Room was available and it's big ( one star). Room wasnt clean. Sofa bed mattress looks like someone pee a couple of times. Hairdryer is not available in all rooms according to FD. I went to another Extended stay and it was super clean compare to this.

I stayed here for 3 weeks while waiting for my apartment move in date since i moved from NJ. Great location & It’s Near the airport, the bridges towards Pinellas PK, clearwater and the International mall. Staff are helpful especially the cleaning lady. Generally a safe area. Rooms are decent. One thing i will mention however is that the smell in the hallways/elevator reek of cigarette smoke & the rooms accumulate a lot of dust. I have also found molds as well as a few roaches in the bathroom. Other than that, It’s not as bad as some of the other reviews make it seem to be. just be aware.

  • 5/5 Tom M. 2 years ago on Google
I just stayed here for 3 days and it was great...they gave me a sweet room on the 1st floor by the front entrance (#114) was nice and quiet, plenty of room to park, the room was clean and everything was working properly and the staff was very friendly and helpful especially the gorgeous women tending the front desk. Pretty sure they are hiring for cleaning staff because there was only 1 woman doing the cleaning, it takes her 4 hours to clean the whole place every day but she gets it done.
