This HOTEL IS FALSELY ADVERTISED!!!!! Max star rating 1.5-2. Public areas look like they haven't been cleaned in months. Breakfast offerings are a joke and minimal. The Fitness Center only has 3 old broke down cardio machines no weights and the floors are too dirty to do any form of floor work. The pool is the size of a large kiddie pool. You have to ask for everything at the front desk (dishes, toaster, coffee maker etc). Your room only comes with hand soap and a one use squeeze bottle of body wash. Although the staff is very nice they are clearly overwhelmed with all responsibilities. Upon our arrival I reserved a Deluxe double bed room suite with sofa bed The only one available was filled with mold and mildew vents clearly had not been cleaned, air filters filled with mold and although hotel is non smoking there clearly was a smoker in our room prior. We immediately requested a room change and had to down size to a King size bed and sleeper sofa room we could actually breathe in. Don't get me wrong I'm a pretty flexible and reasonable customer. I've been on the other side of the counter serving the public, but this is one of the worst extended stays/ hotels I have ever stayed at and can't believe I spent my hard earned money on such low quality accomodations. THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF!!!!! DON'T STAY HERE!!!!!!

Worst hotel experience ever!! Checked in late night, and had to switch rooms 4 times due to me noticing roaches. Finally I found one that didn’t have any, well at least none visible at the time. Who wants to spend their money and can’t be comfortable?! It was horrible and then the toilet was stopped up and I notified the general manager. maintenance was suppose to come but sure enough he was too busy to make a ticket for the toilet for his disappointed customer. He was a pleasant man but he dropped the ball which caused me to be even more upset and have to reach back out to the front desk receptionist. I will NEVER stay at this place again and do not recommend it for others.

This was my worst hotel experience ever. This place was so gross. Checked in, went to my room & immediately checked out. The hotel is behind a nightclub which I didn’t realize. As soon as you get out of your car, it reeks like weed. I could see people smoking weed on the first floor rooms from outside. The lobby was messy - welcome rug probably hadn’t been vacuumed in awhile. Couch pillows thrown around & had stains on it. The receptionist wasn’t present, I had to wait for her. Checked in & was informed main elevator was broken. There was a cockroach in the hallway! Trash in laundry room overflowing & my room was disgusting. The floors had stains on them & bathroom laminate was melted where someone had ashed on the floor. Left & went down the road to Marriott’s Springhill Suites. So worth the extra cash, I felt so comfortable when I got there & the gentlemen were so helpful. Most importantly …it was CLEAN!

**PLEASE READ AND TRUST THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS** Yes I know something I should have done. I typically don't have any issues with Extended Stays. If you have other choices please look into those and stay clear. I should have cancelled and found somewhere the moment I stepped in, very outdated and the smell of stagnant cigarette smoke and pot was off putting. When checking in, I gave the young lady my name 3 times only to tell me " I'm sorry I couldn't hear you, I have my airpods in" and proceed to put them back in her ear! Seriously you are at WORK do you need to have those things in?. Onto the room....The sticker on the "bathroom" mirror states "10 point cleanliness inspection" think they missed all of them. Cobwebs in the corner of the windows, mold in the bathroom shower and corners (if I could attach photos I would!), very LITTLE WATER PRESSURE, no working vent in bathroom, toilet never completely flushed. A grab n go breakfast was nothing more than a granola bar and diluted coffee. This might just be their new norm since the pandemic but please don't advertise "breakfast" it was anything but. Was very disappointed in this stay.

This place is horrible. The main manger is rude and if someone threateds you she won't do anything about it. They get to stay but if you complain a few times about people leaving trash by your door and people fighting at 2am at your door she'll make up a excuse and kick you out. We have stayed here for months and had planned to stay longer but because we spoke up about a few problems we had she kicked us out. Don't go here.

Tony and the crew has been making my stay heavenly since I got here. I can definitively say this is the best extended stay I’ve ever been to. There’s a reason this place is always booked. Most improved extended stay in the area. Of course it’s Florida, so a bug or two is to be expected.

I have been living at this location since September 2022. I was the victim of hurricane Irma damage. The grant finally got underway. Now it's taking forever to get my house fixed long story. I am very happy to be at this hotel I feel that they treat me like family and they really care. It's a nice location they have a swimming pool everybody here is nice. They have well lit parking, excellent prices, and a very professional thorough staff. I see that sometimes people make negative comments no place is perfect. I'm just happy to have a place to live because I need a place that has a refrigerator kitchen and everything else. If it wasn't for places like ESA people like me would be in a bad position or anyone who has a career where they have to travel. The hotels that have full kitchenettes are few and far between and their prices are astronomical. I am just very proud that ESA is so affordable. It is conveniently located near the malls and the airport as well as having really nice restaurants. There is a very large school close by it's a high school. So it makes the neighborhood really nice.

After my stay at the last Extended Stay America in Clearwater, I swore up and down that I would never stay at another one. Well this particular hotel completely changed my mind. It’s literally right across the street from International Plaza and Bay Street, which boasts The Renaissance, an Epicurean Collection Hotel by The Marriott. That’s a 4 star hotel. This hotel should definitely be a solid 3 star resort. I stayed in one of the queen rooms, but moved to one of the king rooms because the former was a little too small for my family. The king room is pretty big. You have a kitchen with a full size fridge, living room area, bedroom area, and bathroom. My King room has a beautiful view of the pool, which I plan on enjoying when it stops raining 😂. I’ve been here for almost a week and just extended my stay another week. It’s affordable, the location is perfect, and I’m paying less than 1/5 of the price that I was paying for a night at the other Extended Stay America. I have a military discount, so a night here ranges from 45-65 a night. If you pay a week up front, it’s about 560 for the King room. The only downside is that you have to pay a $100 deposit, but as long as you don’t smoke in the room or destroy it, you’ll get that back when you check out. Oh and the staff are all wonderful. Everyone has been so helpful and accommodating.

The absolute most disgusting hotel i’ve stayed at. Within 20 minutes of checking in we saw 3 cockroaches. Its sad the amount of money they charge for these nasty rooms. I came with my 3 month old and family to visit and its currently 3am and the tiredness is not enough to wake up with cockroaches all over us. If you are looking for w.e and just need a place to crash, do it. If you want to ENJOY your time, do not.

I have been here for 1 month now, and So far; the staff here has been very friendly. They do try their best to assist the customers, some even go above and beyond. I wish the price was a bit cheaper, since most folk stay there for quite a bit, but I am comfortable.

I don’t know where to even start. Dirty, Smells, mold in the bathroom, and no breakfast. The front desk people were nice, when they were there, many times you’d go downstairs and there was no one to be found, and believe me we had to go the front desk a lot. When we checked into our room there were no lightbulbs in any of the lamps, the room smelled of mold, we had to open the windows on a 93’ day. The dishwasher was broken. There was no toilet paper, towels, or soap in the bathroom, and the tub was dirty with pink stains from what I can only assume was mold. There was no ventilation in the bathroom. What I find most interesting is when we arrived the cleaner was in the halls and ‘cleaning’ rooms for HOURS, but also had a friend with them? We couldn’t figure out why the other person was there. Anyway she we asked for things we were told to go to the front desk, and they would promise to bring things to us but never did, and required multiple trips to get things which should of already been in the room. We had booked a suite because I was traveling with my family, you could not open the door to the bedroom if the sofa bed was open. We asked to switch rooms but we’re told the other suite was not in better condition. Now on to breakfast, there was none. They offered one pot of coffee, creamer, granola bars, and dry oatmeal packets. THATS IT No bowls for the oatmeal, no milk, no juice, nothing hot, unlike the pictures which show a full buffet breakfast and waffles. There was none of that. The area is under development so it’s pretty industrial and raw. The walkability is extremely poor, the closest thing is a get gentlemen’s club, and an Olive Garden. We were booked for three nights and left after one.

Oh dear… where do I start. Homeless people hanging around, smelly and dirty corridors and the room… oh boy, that’s something else. I did not take any photos cause I just wanted to leave as fast as possible. Horrible cigarette smell, dirty carpet, dirty floors, dirty windows…. Just awful. For $100 a night I was expecting at least a clean room, nothing else, but really it’s the worst place I have ever seen and I have seen quite a few budget Airport hotels - nothing even close to this. Moreover, the receptionist told me I can be refunded and go – which I did (at 3:30AM after a long flight) and I still have not received the money back! UPDATE - in regards to your response I did reach out about the refund days ago, didn’t hear back. Please get back to me re the refund, I’m slowly staring to be concerned I’ll never get the money back. Thank you

Good for the price paid. Good place for few nights, close to the airport, 1.5 miles from the airport. Only problem no coffee machine in the room or no coffee in the lobby area. I recommend this place specially for the people who arrive or depart from Tampa International Airport. I would give five stars if there were a coffee machine in the room.

One of my favorite Extended Stay locations I've been to! The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful with all the requests I had. I was impressed with the nicely kept facilities as well. I had everything I needed during my stay and felt right at home. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Will absolutely be back for another stay!!

Great place to stay, very clean, safe, great staff… Leroy Anderson was my favorite staff member, he welcome me to Tampa for the first time coming there from utah and he told me places to go and I really enjoyed myself. Thanks I’ll be back soon ….

My overall stay was good; however I did locate two roaches in the room…I was able to kill one however the other (the larger of the two) actually went behind the curtains so I wasn’t able to locate it again. Usually when something like that is found in a room logically thinking I would have assumed they would have simply accommodated me with another room especially since my stay wasn’t during peak season and there were several different rooms available. I was told that they had an on call exterminator so then I asked how would I know if and when the exterminator would come by, and I was told they would just stop by yet they wouldn’t leave a service tag or card notifying that they stopped by, and of course no exterminator came by at all that day, so I had to sleep with the anxiety of that particular roach crawling around or on me in my sleep or finding it’s way into my bags or even worse the possibility of more roaches. I figured they didn’t offer my another room because my stay was only for two nights but I still feel they should have accommodated me another room especially since a deposit is required in addition to the actual room rate. There was also an issue of the overnight desk person falling asleep inside of the office and had people waiting late night with no response for over 30 minutes and when I checked out there didn’t seem to be anyone at the desk area for a good amount of time either, and that is why I can only give the service 3 stars; nevertheless I was able to speak with Tony at the front desk when I initially reported the roaches and he mentioned that if anything they could waive the deposit fee on my next visit so hopefully they will be able to at least honor that because for my first ever visit at that location the service could have been a bit more accommodating for sure especially with bugs in the room

Only 4 stars based on the customer service, just not pleasant. Rooms were good but the bathroom was dirty and so were the sofa beds's mattress. It was stained

The room looked old and smelled bad. Some of the lights in our room didn't work. The walls are very thin, and I could hear someone in the room next to us coughing. The toilet clogged on the very first flush and continued to run after future flushes. Clearly, something inside it was broken. The bed was exceptionally uncomfortable, and it squeaked and popped when I rolled over. The hotel was out of extra pillows that we really needed. Multiple dogs were barking almost all night in other rooms, which was LOUD. The TV channels didn't work at all. Only one trash can in the entire room, in the bathroom next to the toilet. No trash can in the hallways or by the elevator. The breakfast was abysmally bad. Grab and go pre-made snack items only. No hot food at all that we were expecting. This was the absolute worst attempt at providing a free breakfast that I've ever seen from a hotel in all my years of traveling. No housekeeping was provided to our room whatsoever. Didn't use the pool. I would NEVER stay here again.

My experience at Extended Stay Northwest Shore Tampa was extremely disappointing. I would strongly advise considering other accommodations. The parking lot turned into a party zone until 4 am, and despite my efforts to contact the front desk three times, I received no meaningful assistance. The front desk staff member I spoke with seemed disinterested and unhelpful, offering the same unhelpful response each time. It's evident that the management and oversight of this property are lacking. If you're looking for a peaceful night's sleep, this is not the place to stay, as it seems to draw a late-night crowd. Additionally, there were issues with a bug infestation, particularly roaches. I echo the sentiments of the review left by Kayy Lee a month ago. I'll definitely be exploring other options, such as the Marriott, for my next stay.

Omg! Not worth your money! Stay away! The lobby doesn’t get cleaned, everything looks dirty. The place has roaches! Smells like dirt covered with cheap deodorants, I could hear people snoring next door. The bathtub tile had mold!

I have stayed at a dozen of hotels in Tampa. This was on the top of my list best stays/experience ever. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine Lauren at the front desk was so nice and kind and Valericka she greeted me every time I passed through the lobby when she was at the front desk such a nice young lady. Thank u for the wonderful stay Extended stay I will be back soon.

Staff, location and service was great, downside they have roaches. That did not make my stay comfortable. They are handling the issue the best they can but not fast enough.

I would love to give this place a zero but have to give it one star, long story short its a total shocker to pull into the parking lot and have to drive past a gentlemen's club getting past that walking into the lobby I knew I was in for a great experience it was out dated the furniture looked like a cat sharpened his claws on it and then we walked into the room the first thing that fit me was the stale cigarette / humid smell the permeated the room ( but hey i've live in worse on my deployments to iraq) we get into our room things are ok I'm like my assignment is only for 13 weeks right then I realize EVERYTIME I walk outside the building to either walk my dog or go to work there's someone sitting or hanging around the door smoking or drinking the security doors are at my estimate 80% of the time held open with rocks, bark or today a air mattress box ( I can't make this up) I'm going to go out on a limb and say this property has a contract with the city to house people who need a place to stay there are a lot of people in that I'm gonna say they are living here on vouchers........

So me and my husband ( he already wrote a review ) stayed here for a little over a month ( original reservation was 5 months ) The hotel it self was great and for the most part was a great stay. we were planning on staying for a year or more for work. However there was someone below us who worked nights and we have a 3 year old who plays with her toys and acts like a normal 3 year old during the day. which could be heard downstairs at times which this person complained about. We attempted to remedy the situation by offering to swap rooms as there were no similar rooms available. To which he did not want to do. Then about a week later this guest came and banged on our door like the police and threatened to beat us up if it did not stop. We informed management about this and absolutely nothing at all was done to this guest for a borderline criminal in nature action. I then tried to swap rooms to a different room that was similar and large enough and was told they are no long renting that room out so they can use as a conference room. So my only option sense the hotel would not do anything to this person threatening us was to move to a different location. I do want to say the hotel itself is great and the staff is beyond helpful. However there mismanagement of other guests actions put a sour enough taste in my mouth to write this review as we were planning on spending upwards of 35-40k at this hotel. Thank you.

Reserved a king bed suite at a great rate! The room was clean, spacious, and had a good size garden tub. The location is ideal with plenty of upscale dining and shopping within walking distance. Front desk staff are help, and friendly! Highly recommend, especially if you have a fur baby or two staying with you! Will definitely stay again.

I can not lie when I first saw pulled up the location I was freaking out but once the doors opened it felt very welcoming, Christina was very helpful , new but GREAT. The night was very peaceful - amazing after a long 22 hour unplanned trip I had. In the morning I met Deborah also she was also just amazing! They were very accommodating. Front desk - Gretchen made Frank (furbaby) feel special, he the room he slept a lot (he usually walks around unsteady when we aren’t home )

I travel to Tampa for a track meet with my son and his cousin. I left a pair of shoes in the room and when we came back to the hotel that night the $200 dollar shoes was nowhere to be found. The staff made no real effort to find them either. The only people in the room was myself the children and the housekeeper. We checked all 3 suitcase and the vehicle still no shoes and I only had two pair. I spike with someone from corporate they said that I would get a call within 2 days never did and here it is almost a week later. The pull out sofa bed was dirty so the kids didn't want to sleep on it. If I could give it a zero I would. If you don't have a trust worthy, staff and a caring management team you have nothing. We notice one bug but it was nothing to get bent out of shape about. While sitting at the pool all you see is trash, cups, and clothes in some off the room windows as if it was an apartment complex.

Room was small but ok as far as the size. But it was poor in the quality Extremely low water pressure the shower looked to be dirty, But upon closer inspection it was just correct and needed to be replaced. The reasons that I give it a one star store is when I check in there in there was a whole bunch of noise noise going on Come to find out there is someone fighting and the police had to be called, And there were children running running around in the room above me and right next door for most of the night could not get any rest. And to make matters worse I woke up the next morning only to find roaches crawling around in the sink, And found some in the bed. For this reason I would never go back there again, They did try to compensate me and take me and take $25 off of my room I wrote which was another thing I feel as though it was overpriced for one night, And upon explaining the situation she's still wanted me to give them give them a 5 star rating Even though the room was not up to par and the fact there were bugs crawling around on the sink and one me

I don’t not recommend coming here my experience in this hotel was awful ,and let me tell you why we booked two nights on the first night we had gotten there late so we went to straight to sleep, when we woke up the next day ,we saw rashes in our body we thought we had a mosquito bite or something ,we left the hotel to eat breakfast , and we came back to the hotel late on that day ,when we were getting ready to go to sleep we started getting rashes all over our body so we started checking the beds and we saw a whole bunch of fleas on the bed jumping we also saw some in our clothes since we were laying down on the beds. We to the front desk to they can give us another room ,they didn’t care at all ,we even show them pics of the fleas in our beds, they said they didn’t have more rooms,it was almost 12am,and we have to look for another hotel at that time . I had already emailed the hotel and I still have yet to get an answer overall this is a very bad hotel do not recommend.

This property is simply horrific. A constant issue with cockroaches and fleas. The fact the A/C went out in the room and despite the calls we placed they said maintenance was coming and never did. The young lady who checked us in was very unprofessional and had 0 interest in doing anything. The only positive to our stay was a front desk attendant named Celena. We needed more towels and wash cloths and the other girl said they were out of them; Celena was on top of it. She apologized for the inconvenience and made sure to give us a courtesy call after check in to make sure we settled in alright.

My daughter and I went to Tampa Florida with my 3 grandchildren,BUT we drove all the way there. We had an amazing time. It had a stove fridge dish washer, the only thing you have to do is run downstairs for toliet paper, and garbage bags...My daughter killed a cockroach, and the sofa bed 😰 we didnt sleep in. We went to a smaller beach and it smelled, and there was foam washing up to the shore. We decided to swim in the pool at the hotel. We never have been to Florida and it was beautiful and we had an amazing time.We got sunburn in a very short time,so bring protection, and bring food. We ate at diff. Restaurants somewhat expensive but it was ok! We enjoyed ourselves and thats what counts. The employees at ihop are amazing. We plan on going on another road trip the view in 3 states were breathtaking,I took alot of pictures😁.Just be careful and watch your teenage daughters there are wiedos. My daughter drive all the way there and back home,I felt so bad because I dont drive. But she is a very strong Woman, and she takes after me!!!. I have 2 daughters and theyre both amazing good Woman.. So if you plan on driving to Florida be safe, and enjoy your views on the way there! Be safe

Great hotel with very reasonable rates! We got a deal on our studio suite and were very pleased. We were on the second floor with a pool view. The kitchen area was clean, bathroom was nice, and bed was comfortable too. Check in was fast and efficient as well as the staff being super friendly. They offer kitchen supplies for those with longer stays, which is convenient. The location was perfect as we were heading to Raymond James Stadium, only 10 minutes down the road. We will definitely stay here again if in the area! Highly recommend!

We chose this Hotel and our expectations were far surpassed. Upon check-in we were given an upgraded room due to a scheduling complication but it would be an understatement to suggest the upgrade selected for us was warranted...nay, the hotel manager went well above our expectations to remedy the situation. Regarding the hotel And Francelina , it was one of the cleanest we've ever stayed in and the room was magnificent. Additionally, each element of the hotel experience was brilliantly executed. The pool was nice , I would return and I would highly recommend any friend of mine to stay at the extended stay 1805 west shore Tampa airport

Worst hotel stay, checked in after sitting in traffic to our suite that smelled like cigarettes, told the front desk person i would be back to switch rooms because of the horrid smell. 3 hours later after we attended the north pole express, i retrieved my bookbag of electronics that i left in stinky room, I go to front desk to have another employee tell me they were fully booked no rooms to switch to. I continued demanding another room and she found a single room available. So my family of 6, 5 over the age of 13, were forced to stay in room with 1 queen bed and 1 pullout couch.Thank God we brought our airbed. I made several trips yo front desk for towels and blankets and had to practically beg for them. Area around elevator wrecks of marijuana, not something i want my children smelling. Assistant manager tells me im entitled to refund for difference in price. General manager told my i needed to contact sams club, where i booked the stay, for the refund. When I checked out, elderly couple in front of me also complained about their room smelling of cigarettes. Thank God we had plans so we only slept at that hotel. And so I wait its been a week already.

I am a travel nurse and I love staying here. The staff are so nice and accommodating. I feel at home and safe. This is the 3rd time I stayed here and I only have good words to say. Shout out to the Manager Mr. Balton. He is amazing . The breakfast is hot and ready when I get off from work. The bed is comfortable and clean. At one time I forgot some stuff in my room and they were so kind to call me and inform me that they kept it for safe keeping. I would definitely come back.

We booked through Expedia and prepaid for our stay. Arrived around 10 pm, as we were traveling in from out of town. Got checked in, and got to our room (which was supposed to be a double bed suite), to find it covered in food, personal items, and people in and out of it. We went back to the front desk, and the woman working simply said “are you kidding me” and went to the back room. When she came back out she informed us that there were no other rooms of that type open, and she could give us another smaller room but to talk about the cost or refund we would have to wait for manager. Since we had to catch a 6 am flight, we took the smaller room. When we got into the room, it smelled of body odor, the floors were sticky and hadn’t been swept, so bad we had to wear our shoes when walking. Most of the night there was a couple of other guests that were screaming and fighting at each other, which we reported to the front desk for nothing to happen. People running up and down the hall all night long. Terrible experience, never once an apology, and a waste of money. When we called to try to resolve something with the manager, we were told we could have “10% refund” of the total suite package we paid for, but we would have to present the card we paid with. We are now home in ILLINOIS, which was told to the front desk worker when she told us we would have to speak to a manager. So now, no refund for the difference in cost of what we booked vs what we got, and the manager of the hotel telling us if we don’t like it, call the corporate office. I will never stay or recommend a stay again. If I could give 0 stars I would.
