Their service was awful, waitress name T had a bad attitude and was to pushy for us leave. Food was average ok, we expected the picada to have more variety as another Colombian restaurants does. Restaurant currently is under renovation in the front entrance and parking available.

This was my first time coming here with some friends. The restaurant is currently under construction. So got lost for a sec, but once we arrived and enter definitely felt that colombian vibe, I'm latino and I felt that latin culture. I ordered a Tequila Sunrise. Very good. Then I ordered a Breaded fillet with shrimp in garlic sauce. Delicious overall food wise, delicious. Our server Daniel was awesome as well, very fun and attentive. Excellent service. Overall highly recommend coming here.

First time in LaCabana and they're expanding and remodeling the place was still popping with great service and Great Food. I had the rotisserie blackened chicken with beans and rice and it was Fabulous 👌 👏 👍. I had the pleasure of meeting the Owner and she was absolutely fantastic and the Beautiful Lady at the Front desk when you enter the restaurant with the Beautiful Voice!.Anyhow I'm looking forward to going back soon

#food #restaurant #latin #colombian The food is pretty good, I’ll recommended POLLO AL CARBON, feel like in any place in #colombia the flavors are variables and great customer service. By the time of my visit the restaurant look like closed outside but is OPEN they’re REMODELING OUTSIDE, and have a banner invited to in. Go ahead and enjoy the #comida #colombiana

If you are in Tampa, you need to check this place out! I'm in town for my partner's birthday and I couldn't leave Florida without having some Colombian food and La Cabana did not disappoint. The building is underconstruction but don't deter you from going in cause you will truly miss out. Smiles and friendly service as soon as we walked in the door. The food was phenomenal and it was like being back at my dad's place when I was a kid. We even ordered some enpanadas to go! Reasonably priced, fast and fantastic service. You will not be disappointed. Gracias!!!

I haven’t been to this location in like 10+yrs. The staff was amazing in accommodating a large group. I had the carne asada, rice & beans, and plantains. I also had the soursop juice with milk and flan for dessert. Let’s just say I ate every single bit. Portion sizes aren’t large, but it depends on the dish you order. I will be back to try out there beef soup. Hopefully it doesn’t disappoint. (2 people would be about ~$60)

This Colombian restaurant offers the usual delicious selections from the Colombian cuisine. Be aware that at the time of this review this place is under construction. You can hardly realize if it is open or not, but it is! Atmosphere is casual. The front of the house makes you feel right at home and welcomed. Waiting staff is very amicable and always checking on customers’ needs. I ordered the beef soup and the fried whole fish. Positives: Soup was deliciously prepared with homey flavors, simple but delicious. Soup is considered a bit thicker than “caldo” in Colombian cuisine. I’d say what I was offered was a “caldo”, still very good. Portions are very generous all across. “Patacón” or “Tostones”, very crunchy. Less positives, not necessarily complete negatives: “Hogao” (Colombian sofrito sauce) was too oily. The fish was well cooked, but on the verge of too salty. This makes it to build up on salt in your mouth to the point you must have some relief from it. Ordering flexibility: if you order the fish (my case) you have options as sides. I wanted the “tostones” (plantain tostón) as a side, but wanted the “hogao”… I had to order another “tostón” order which comes with the actual sauce. I was not offered the option to just add the hogao. I ended up with a lot of “tostón”. Price tag: A bit pricey, but on this particular I can see that portions were very generous. Rice was better cooked than in many other restaurants. Overall bottom line: Recommended with these considerations.

I went out for dinner with my family and the food was great and staff were nice and welcoming. It was my first time trying Colombian food, I ordered the the half chicken with rice, beans, and vegetables. The chicken was flavorful and juicy, the rice had good texture and taste, the beans were in a good sauce, now the vegetables were nothing special, just steamed frozen veggies. Overall however, I would recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a good Colombian or Latino spot to try in Tampa.

We wanted to go and have authentic Colombian food I took a friend who lives in Honduras she is over 65 and has lived in the United States and in Central America and other places and would not go back to this restaurant that was overpriced I I know they are renovating the outside but the inside looks like 19 80s uncomfortable seats the SMALLEST BOOTHS. 1 kids meal and 1 adult meal. Was $30 plus I was not happy. And I am not writing this out of spite I'm writing it because it just wasn't good so to the restaurant I say be nicer be be better make the place look a little better I mean a coat of paint and some they do sell used restaurant chairs and tables change the inside of your restaurant I don't know why you're spending a fortune on the outside it's not the outside that's the problem the inside okay

Everything was excellent, waiters we're very attentive 👌, empanadas, fruit juice, "Sancocho de Gallina", "La Picada" was huge with lots of meat, prices very fair, definitely will be back soon. They are doing some exterior construction/renovations, but interior is clean and pleasant, with large TV's for watching sports, etc. Allen in Ocala

Came to this colombian spot in Tampa and I must say it was great. The food was on point, very good portions. The beef empanadas crunchy and definitely worth it. The service was great and Juan was really server. If you ever in town and want great colombian food and an Aguila as well, this is the spot. Definitely will be coming back when I'm in town.

This was our first time here. Yes there is construction happening to the exterior but that has no relevance to the service we received. I don't know why so much negativity on the servers, all of them seemed to be paying attention to their customers. Everything was delicious. Daniela was our server. She was attentive and provided great service.

Great food, prices, and portions. Need I say more? First time coming here and there was no wait time. We are originally from NJ Ans been living in FL for almost 2 yrs now and this place matches the authenticity of the Colombian restaurant we love going to back home. Will definitely be coming back for more!!! The staff was also genuinely friendly and attentive! The decor was very cute and felt like a real cabana.

Great food and service, the only let downs are the ongoing construction which may make it difficult to find and the lack of fountain drinks (Canned soda and bottled water). Overall the food was very tasty and authentic. Service was very professional and attentive. Will update review once we go back after they are done with construction.

Food was AMAZING, I had the Stir Fry which is a variety of meats tossed with vegetables and fries served with rice and sweet plantains. Service is great, waitstaff was very attentive, food was hot and service was quick considering how full it was. The only Con about this place is that they have been under construction for a while now and they closed down one side of the restaurant which makes it feel a little clustered. Even with the construction I would highly recommend.

Such an amazing brunch place!!! It is definitely a hidden gem in Tampa because we were only able to find it by seeing the line of people waiting to be seated. The fresh juices were great and the staff was so attentive making sure we never ran out of our "Jugos". Karen served us and she was amazing! She made us feel very comfortable and her service was exceptional! The food was delicious; we got the "Huevos revueltos" and the Arepa with cheese. I would def come here again and would love to see Karen again.

Yesterday was our 2nd time visiting. We were happy to be greeted once again by Monica. She is always pleasant and waited on us with a smile. The food is outstanding especially the fried fish and something called "consume". I'm impressed and will return.

I went there tonight and it was my birthday, I wanted steak with shrimp and it came with Garlic Sauce all over it… It was horrid…There was no manager there..Only gave us 10% off that plate…I come here all the time and have spent lots of money here….I’m not coming in anymore…Ridiculous The waitress was really nice though…
