Stopped in afer some recommendations about this being the best place to get donuts in Tampa. Well, everyone was right! I got the "Special Dozen" and me tell you, they were beyond expectations. The glazed just melted in your mouth, the fritter was delicious and all the others I've tried so far were incredible. Highly, highly recommended!

Saw these guys are a Top 50 Donut Shop in the US according to Yelp, so I surprised the kids with a half dozen donuts this Friday morning, and a small coffee for myself. No frills, nothing fancy, no cappuccinos or crazy donuts from what I saw, just good old fashioned donut shop with drip coffee. Got there around 6:15am had no problem getting served quickly. Kids said everything was great, got the cinnamon roll, apple fritter, cake donut, glazed, Homer Simpson donut (my name for it), and a sour cream donut. Great to support a local business that makes the donuts on-site, I'd never go to DD if I lived closer to this place. The coffee was good, if I were the owner I'd make sure to serve a locally roasted coffee and advertise it as such, but it seems like this place concentrated on the basics and they do them well.

Great donuts at a reasonable price. I got 6 of them for $7.10: two Boston creams, one jelly, one apple fritter, one with sprinkles, and one with striped frosting. The apple fritter was still slightly crispy, so I imagine it was quite fresh. My favorites were the jelly and Boston cream because the fillings were not overly sweet like the donuts at, say, Dunkin Donuts or Krispy Kreme. The Boston cream donut doesn't have a strong chocolate flavor though, but whether that's good or bad depends on your preference.

Wow some amazing donuts! I also tried a croissant breakfast sandwich that I would definitely recommend as well. I think one of my favorite donuts was the sour cream donut as well as the croissant donut! If you've never been, definitely have to try this place One of the best donut shops I've ever been to! Sadly I don't have any photos of the donuts I bought because I was so excited. I ate them before taking any pictures.

Really good stuff!! One of the best local donut shop in Tampa! My favorite is the glazed croissants ! My wife goes for the the sugar sprinkle donuts, but any donut will do the trick… lots of flavors to choose for everyone . Similar to Krispy Kreme, doughnuts, but way better!! It’s usually busy in the morning but it’s worth the wait! I have several employees working in the line usually moves quick..

Forget about the corporate chain places. This is the best in town. Their donut holes are the best ! See my photo of a dozen donuts. Absolutely delicious.

My son and I come here to get our donut fix. Always fresh and you can taste the difference from them vs the big chains. We love this place, it has other items Ike breakfast sandwiches and café con Leche. The specialty dozen is the best option. This has been our little ritual every other Saturdays.

HANDS DOWN BEST DONUTS IVE EVER HAD !! The food is just as amazing as the staff is . I’ve never been treated with so much gratitude before . They make my food exactly how I ask them to . The donuts are mouth watering. I drive an hour just to eat here . The lady that makes my sandwiches ( Sarah ) has a smile that will brighten your day . I’ve never ever had a bad experience here and I’ve been coming everyday for almost a year now . This is a family owned business and they are such wonderful people . I highly recommend the glazed croissant and the French curlers they will change your life and you can’t forget the apple fritters and the CUBAN SANDWICH!!

Wow. This place is just phenomenal. I am not even a huge donut fan but these are outrageously delicious. We heard so many positive reviews and finally tried this place out recently. I especially loved the pumpkin, guava and cream cheese, and all of the cake donuts! The staff was also super friendly both to me and my kiddo. We will be back, probably way too much 😁

The donuts here are exceptional. They aren’t too sweet and they’re so fluffy, it feels like you’re biting into a cloud. Unfortunately, the breakfast sandwiches suck. Makes sense since their name is hole in one DONUT. I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese sand which on Cuban bread but received an egg sandwich. They gave my my actually sandwich that I ordered but if you see the pictures attached, sad is the only word that can be used to describe the image.

Probably the best donut place around. Stop in at least once a month for donuts and hot cocoa on way to the VA hospital. The girls that work here are awesome donuts on point always fresh. And the hot cocoa is awesome. Jalapeño pig in a blanket is my favorite snack. Parking is kind of a hassle but completely worth it

I heard about the store and tried their donuts before but never been there. I finally got to the store one morning. The employees are so friendly. One took the order that needed to be prepared and the other patiently waited for me to choose the donuts. The breakfast sandwiches and the donuts are so delicious and fresh! I didn’t try the coffee. I think I am leaving the chain store DD whose quality and service are getting worse.

I know my donuts and pastries. Hands down the best in the south by far… amazing! You’d have to go to New York to find their equal. My only complaint is the run out so dang quick… especially the cake donuts, which are unreal! So now I place an order ahead of time. Love this place!

Such a great spot for a simple breakfast. The ham and cheese sandwich is deceiving. It looks a little plain and lifeless it it was oh so good. I wish I had it soon so I could have gotten it all week. Their Boston cream donut was amazing filled with a bunch of cream and still warm from being baked earlier in the day. Such a great spot with low prices.

1 hr before closing and almost no donuts to choose from (Saturday at noon). Dismissive attitude from counter staff, and then a more senior person took over to complete our transaction…with an oddly abrupt demeanor (?) After struggling to make change with just one hand (as if to avoid having to remove the rubber gloves from BOTH hands), she managed a “thank you” but with no eye contact. Huh. You’re welcome! 😁 Next time I’ll come earlier hoping for more than just glazed donuts, and I’ll hide my crucifix chain under my shirt, to see if the service is any friendlier.

WOW!! Delicious. Some of the best donuts I have ever had. The old fashioned was amazing. Nothing bad to say. Plus the staff is very pleasant and friendly!

The glazed croissants are @ personal fave! They have a great deal on a breakfast combo that includes a breakfast sandwich, a coffee drink or choice and a donut of choice for $5.49. The staff was helpful and friendly.

I was skeptical about waiting in such a long line, but my wife guaranteed it would be worth it, and she was absolutely right! I had one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had, along with a soft, warm donut. I was very impressed with the service and how fast they got everyone out of there. All the employees were super friendly, and they seemed to really love their jobs. I will definitely be back.

If I could give 10 stars I would in a heartbeat. We got a sausage/egg/cheese croissant, a bacon/egg/cheese on cuban bread, cheese kolaches, and a half dozen donuts. Every single thing was incredible. My 2.5 year old devoured everything we offered. 11/10 from our whole family. Everyone was so friendly! They even offered my 1 year old a donut hole while I was ordering. We will definitely return!

At my job a customer brought in 2 big boxes full of all sorts of donuts and pastries! Oh my goodness they were heavenly. I’ve never enjoyed a sweet treat as much as I have today. Thanks for making them with love and sharing with the world! So yummy.

A whole lot of yummy. These Donuts are definitely worth the hype but taste even better. When I went the line was out the door but it went fast and was well worth it. The Cinnamon rolls and Apple fritters are huge and taste amazing. I got a dozen assorted and needed two hands just to hold the box. They are the perfect amount of sweetness. Every single donut was so good. I can see why they are in the top 100 donut shops in America per Yelp. I can't wait to go back.

Sometimes I stop by after a long shift after work, especially if I’m in overtime. I always get one or two bacon, egg, and cheese croissants and a half-dozen donuts. The donuts are always out of this world good. But to the lady who always tells the other people she’ll make my sandwiches (I think she might be the manager?) you absolutely make the best sandwiches and I appreciate how much care is put into making the food at Hole in One. After an intense 12 hour warehouse job, those sandwiches lift my spirit, thank you.

Donuts were amazing, very friendly & kind staff. I'm not from Tampa and only really stick to Krispy Kreme but these donuts were nothing short of delicious. I would definitely recommend. They have a great variety as well. Try them out you definitely won't be disappointed!

Best donuts in town!! 0 competition, this is the place! Kolaches are great, the glazed croissants are to die for, and literally every single donut is amazing! I will go out of my way every time to come here.

Finally tried the donuts here. Had a chocolate sprinkle and original glazed. The donuts were larger than standard donuts and priced well. They were warm and soft, super fresh. However, I'm going 3 star because the donuts tasted more like fried oil than chocolate or glaze. I felt a bit let down, honestly. I would get donuts from here again if I was near, but I wouldn't travel for them.

This place is a godsend. I work night shift EMS and nothing is better after a really hard shift other than a good breakfast. When I come in the door I am always greeted with a smile and a “Good Morning!” The staff is exceptionally friendly and the food comes fast and is downright phenomenal. Great donuts, great breakfast sandwiches and the prices are very reasonable, especially on the breakfast combo. This establishment can expect my business for a long time to come.
