We made reservations same day and was able to get seen. The waiter came right over to serve us salad and soup. I got vegetables delight hibachi. And instead getting the rice and noodle, they let me double the rice. Also got a few drinks, which was strong. But The chef provide some entertainment while we watched him cook. We enjoyed our food and visit here.

Great family dinner!! My wife needed a gluten free dinner & they took care of her more than any restaurant we have been too since the pandemic started! They cooked her food first then the rest of the tables. They also had a gluten free miso soup & salad. The rest of our food was cooked perfectly by the chef!! We’ll be back!!

We had a great time here for dinner with the kids. The cooking keeps them entertained so the adults can enjoy the hibachi and conversation. Food was excellent. I had crab rangoons and a spider roll as well as the hibachi experience. Everything was delicious.

Great spot to get hibachi! Our chef Vinh was dope with the cooking utensils and had my daughter smiling ear to ear w all the fire tricks and jokes 🤙🏾 Awesome experience and the food was pretty dope! Tried some Japanese Beer w my meal which helped everything go down smooth! Next time I'm going back for the lobster, straight up 😉 The Hamachi sushi roll was flavorful, as well 💪🏾

Our chef was Asian Cutie. He did an AMAZING job. The food was well seasoned, and we were entertained the entire time we were here. Josiah was our server, and was very kind and attentive. The whole experience was fantastic!

The service was good and the food was terrible. I ordered filet mignon and it was the worst cheapest cut of steak I've ever had. The shrimp was nothing like what was pictured in the menu. The presentation was terrible especially at $50 for the plate. The rice was mediocre and the noodles disgusting. I would recommend going to Panda express over coming here. The worst meal I've had in a very long time and for these prices you can go to actual fine dining.

We’ve been coming here for several years, usually on birthdays or special occasions (like everyone else). The service and food has always been consistent and this past visit was no exception. The chefs we’ve had have all been great, friendly and entertaining. At the hibachi tables, they had plexiglass guards that are placed between parties which actually isn’t bad as it gives a little more privacy from strangers while also not making it feel claustrophobic. The only negative is that prices may have gone up a dollar or two per meal since the last time we were here several months ago, but unfortunately that’s about the same everywhere now. Also be aware that (at the hibachi tables at least) an 18% gratuity is added to your check automatically, regardless of your party size.

Had a late Sunday dinner had about a 45min wait. They will send u a text when your seat is ready. Don't feel like there was enough room. We were all bumping elbows. Food & service was good. I ordered the Kobe Trio. The soup & hibachi chicken left a bit more to be desired. Steak & shrimp were Excellent. The salad with ginger dressing was an added plus. They do add 18% gratuity automatically.

Have always enjoyed going here and is usually always good.. but tonight food wasn't hot and the noodles were sitting in oil (pool of oil on plate under noodles.) I finally had to ask for new noodles, because they were impossible to eat. Server was helpful. We did not eat at the hibachi table but by the bar, which is a good option if you want the same food but don't want to wait for hibachi show. If I could give 1/2 stars, tonight would be a 3 and a half.

Came here on a Friday night and regardless of the slippery floors, we had a great time. The strawberry daiquiri is decent - just tastes like a regular smoothie because I didn't taste alcohol in it. I asked for a pineapple instead of a cherry. We had hot sake shots and it was my first time, so I think I'd prefer the cool shots, instead. The cook was hilarious and cracking up jokes with everyone including the kids. He was definitely a character to remember and interacted with the table very well. The food was cooked pretty quick and is a large portion. It was good and they do alllow to-go boxes if you don't finish your meal in one sitting. They give you a small, free and vanilla cupcake with a candle lit on top if it's your birthday including some musical instruments being played in the back.

This was my first time going to Kobe’s and won’t be my last! I really enjoyed it. It is overly packed but I know this is the best in Tampa so it is expected. Make sure to make a reservation though, we made one and it still took a while to seat us. Sushi was amazing, & the chef did an amazing performance and he was silly. Will be going back soon!

Our server (Kenneth) and our chef (Kawasaki) were both absolutely wonderful and instrumental in making this one of the best hibachi experiences we’ve ever had. My boyfriend and I are celebrating our 5 year anniversary and we had some reservations coming into this experience - we’ve had some really poor/awkward experiences at other Teppan places. Here, the service and the ambiance were both PERFECT. And the food??? My gosh ive never had a more tender steak on a grill in my life. There was plenty of food and it was perfectly seasoned. Thank you to the Kobe team here for making a special celebration even greater!

We came for our bachelor/bachelorette party and got the last 3 available Wagyu beef. Very happy I finally got to try such a quality meat. We had a fantastic time 💖 our chef/servers were very attentive! We never ran out of drinks.

If I could give a zero star I would. We had a reservation at 3 o’clock and for a party of 10 3/4 of the party had arrived before 3 PM and they were informed if The rest of the party did not arrive by 315 we would have to wait an additional 45 minutes to sit. We walked in AT 3:15 and when we walked up to the desk they said since the party was changed we can no longer sit! ( keep in mind they we made aware before 3pm that there were 2 more people) The building is absolutely empty …I understand that there is other reservations but we were right there and ready to sit and they didn’t accommodate. Don’t go here they do not care about your event or family’s time. Jesse and Bao were the ones who turned us away! Never coming back!

Kobé Tampa never disappoints, this is one of our favorite places. The chefs put on a great show - they're always entertaining and funny. I'll forever refer to scallops as Japanese meatballs now. The sushi is fresh, food is flavorful, there's a great variety of menu options, and you'll definitely have leftovers for the following day. They do offer Gluten friendly options and make sure to check with everyone at the table for any food allergies. You're told initially when making a reservation to expect a short wait after checking in. We've never really had to wait long, maybe 10 minutes tops. Most issues with reservations times seem pretty avoidable by being punctual. Other reviews mention the slick floors - they were definitely slippery but it was also unusually warm in there last night. If this can be resolved by turning the thermostat down, then Kobe, please make it cooler in there. No real complaints otherwise. Can't wait to go back!

Kobe was amazing! The prices caught me by surprise a little because I haven’t been to a hibachi style grill place since before COVID and life has changed since then for sure. However our chef was on point and so was our waiter. I have no complaints so I would recommend. Fillet Mignon was on point, shrimp and lobster forget it with yum yum sauce.

The experience with Chef Tadashi was amazing! His continuous interactions during the live fire show made the entire dining experience fun and entertaining. Thanks Mateo, your service at our table was excellent. The food too was delicious. Our fave was the yum yum sauce! It totally went with everything! Excellent service. 100% recommend!

Went here with husband and son for my birthday! Our chef was very nice and entertaining. My only complaint is when my son ordered his appitizer (fried shrimp) is that he got the appitizer just before we left. And then when he got it her got 3 or 4 shrimp that was heavily battered and the. 1 thinly sliced zucchini that was breaded and fried, 1 thinly sliced carrot that was breaded and fried, and 1 large broccoli floret that was breaded and fried. Had we know that was how it came we never would have ordered it. The description does not indicate fried vegetables came with if. There was more vegetables than shrimp. Not to mention he came after our meal was cooked and we ate.
