While Yeoman’s Cask and Lion may sound like the worlds best lawyers office it is actually one of the best restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. I came here while on a trip to Tampa and was pleasantly surprised with this spot. The food was delicious and the service was good. But the varied menu of American and English dishes coupled with the fantastic live music made this trip special. The bangers and mash, fish & chips and the nachos were amazing and the live cover band absolutely killed it singing classics and had a really great singing voice. I would recommend this place to anyone in Tampa if you need a proper fish & chips or a potential criminal defense attorney! 10/10

Our son picked this place to meet for dinner when we were visiting and boy was ita great choice! It was very lively, modern, open and chic as we walked up (see pictures) and it only got better from there. We initially ordered the Scotch Eggs and all thought they were great. We had a hard time deciding on the main course (so many great looking dishes to choose from), but I eventually settled on the UK Meatloaf (see picture). I'm not a huge meatloaf fan, but this was fabulous - so light, crumbly and delicious that I was sad when it was gone. If you do only one thing while here, do NOT leave without having The Yeoman Dessert (see picture). That sticky toffee pudding just might be the best dessert I've had ever and the rest were also delicious. Brunch was absolutely delicious! Our waitress was so sweet. We had such an amazing time and enjoyed great food. Highly recommend for bottomless mimosas/bloody mary’s.

Fantastic English Pub that has a little bit of everything for everyone! Great place for authentic British food, grab a beer to watch a Tampa Bay sports game, or hit a few golf balls at a simulator. The decor is awesome with the hallway leading to the bathroom painted with all the famous celebrities from England. The atmosphere is perfect and the service is on par!

Nice quirky little spot in downtown Tampa. It’s got an English pub name, though you’ll be disappointed if you’re expecting a traditional English pub. Still a great spot to have a drink while watching a game. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty quiet but only because there weren’t any games going on until the evening. They had a good selection of beers, both on tap and bottled. I can’t speak for the food as we only had drinks. They have both an inside and outside (open air but still covered) bar. Would love to go back when a game is on to experience the atmosphere.

Great atmosphere, cool vibe, fantastic bar with a lot of energy. Food was good, I did not get a burger, but the people next to me did, and it looked outstanding. I have no complaints with the food. Prices are reasonable in todays insanity. I’ll be back many times.

First time here from another planet. I came for a work function and the drinks were flowing and the food was fresh and hot. I'd recommend the fish and chips. We don't get that kind of eating on my planet. Great conversation and a great selection of beer on tap. Played a few games of pool and did some mingling with some fellow humans. Good times were had by all and if I'm ever in the area I'd definitely stop back in. Til next time Earthlings!

What a cool spot! Good pub-style food and good portion sizes. Extensive menu, but not overwhelming. The Mac and cheese could be a bit cheesier to hold some of the other toppings they put on it. The chicken tenders and fish and chips were great! Huge pieces. Right near the Amelie Arena as well as other restaurants. Virtual golf and outside bar options also available. If you can use the street parking, it would be best.

Went here on a Thursday evening, not knowing really what to expect. It was definitely not what I was expecting! Food was delicious and good portions! The fish and chips was arguably the best in the bay area. At least, the best that I’ve had in the bay area. Service was good and the atmosphere was nice. They do have happy hour specials as well as weekend brunch specials. They also have live music on Thursday and Saturday nights.

Had a swinging good time with my good friend Alicia at Yeoman’s! This sports bar is super close to Amalie Arena so it is perfect for a bite before games, a drink after, watching the whole game there, or just going because the food is AWESOME! Y’all…. They have FIVE Mac n Cheese varieties! 🇬🇧 Authentic English fare! And it’s REALLY good! 🇬🇧 $2 off happy hour 🇬🇧 Family and dog friendly 🇬🇧 Good draught selection 🇬🇧 Great cocktails 🇬🇧 Top-notch service

Everything we had here was delicious. We started off with one of my favorite dishes which is the scotch eggs, these were very flavorful and I could eat several orders alone! The nachos were also good, the chicken has a nice grilled flavor and the toppings on top take it to a new level. The burger was very good and loved the bun it came with. The bangers and mash were pretty good as well, not the best I’ve had but still good. Our waitress was super awesome and made the experience great

Cask and Lion is pretty great, but it's not a 5-star in Tampa in my book. The atmosphere and menu is super fun and quirky British pub, but the place is functionally an all-American sports bar. Fantastic location if you're hungry and already wandering downtown. I'd come here with a group, especially people from work, or for a game or special occasion, but not for "dinner" with friends, and not with family/kids. The music was good (really good actually, for live music), but too loud to carry on an active conversation without being loud yourself. The menu is authentic-ish, and the prices are great for what you get. I had the shepherds pie, and it was tasty, just not anything to write home about. The 5-star item might be the sticky toffee pudding. Well worth a trip for drinks & dessert if that's your scene. The loaded brussel sprouts deserve a shout out too. Service was above average but not stellar (I ordered a drink that was never delivered, but there was a sincere apology to accompany the mistake). Overall it's a solid 4-star experience. With so many new and exceptional restaurants in Tampa it's hard to stand out these days.

I sat at a table and expected it to be cleaned, but the server only picked enough to seem clean and left the water/drink spots there. Other than that, the server was friendly and brought my stuff right away. This is probably the best fish and chips I've had, especially the fish. The breading was unique and really tasty. Would go back.

This place was packed before a Tampa Bay Lightning game and we entered with low expectations, but wanted to at least grab a drink after our long drive over from the beach. Well we walked in just as two people were leaving and not only got a drink immediately, but were able to order food which came out quickly. The service was excellent and the food was delicious! Impressive!!! BONUS: You can catch the pre-game show while you enjoy your dinner!

The food was pretty good. Some of the wings were a little burned. I peeled the burnt skin off and ate the meat with the coconut curry sauce (which was really good). There was live music as well.

The shepherds pie was the talk of the night! It was very good! And Philly was well seasoned as well. The atmosphere was nice. Slightly casual where we were but there is a bar. The service wasn’t all too great, it wasn’t horrible just not very attentive. Drinks took a long time to deliver, drinks were forgotten and also not ordered. Food was warm and good though! It’s a little pricey but very filling and good portions. They were decently packed while we were there but not slammed. Nice date place or office party/occasion

What a fun spot in downtown Tampa. The decor is quintessential British flair with a bit of Tampa funk. Plenty of room inside for bigger parties and a nice outdoor bar of you're just wanting a beer to watch a game. I sat at the bar and ordered a gin garden, if you like light drinks with a hint of flower, this will hit the spot, and I ordered the beefeater stew which was extremely savory and warmed my soul perfectly. My friend ordered an old fashioned, Shepard pie, and we started with the scotch egg, which is a must try appetizer. Our bartender Nikki was great and everything about our experience was seamless.

We love Yeoman’s. Eclectic restaurant with a full menu and bar, as well as golf and pool tables. My favorite is the Maritime Melt, and the hubby likes the Coconut Curry wings. It’s a must when in downtown Tampa! Clean restrooms, good service, and great location!

Cool place to watch the games with 3 different areas to sit in, a patio, bar/main area, and a gaming area with pool tables and stuff. It gets real busy so if your gona come for a game, come early. Food was good, service was alright but it was busy so it's to be expected.

We had a yummy lunch of mac n cheese…Seafood, Buffalo chicken and Classic. The cheesiness was right on. The seafood was delicious and buttery. Half the restaurant is a game area and they sell passes starting from $12 per hour

Yeoman’s is a good downtown Tampa bar that has a lot going for itself. It is close to the Amalie Arena, which makes it very convenient when going to and coming from the arena for a drink. Prices, atmosphere and service is all good . If you like to be served in a noble house then go to Yeoman’s and get a royal pint then hit the like button

Great place to eat, play, and watch the game. Such a fun atmosphere! Service was awesome. Restaurant is clean, open, and airy. Great seating options and so much to do. Bars are beautiful and stocked with everything you could want! By far the best pretzel we’ve ever had. Fish and chips were amazing. Pastrami sandwich was great. Philly steak and cheese was also wonderful. Chicken tenders are homemade, not frozen, delicious!! Great late night dinner, music was perfect, can’t wait to return.

My visit was a pre-event party for a concert (Iron Maiden). I got there extra early since I didn't have lunch. Our group was there for about 5 hours. Our server was patient and attentive. Probably stopped by at least a dozen times. There were many things that I would have eaten off the menu, but as soon as I saw Shepard's Pie I had to get it. Unlike mine, when I make it, it had flavor! This place had multiple areas to hang out, pool tables, virtual golf, and a shuffle board table. If you are down town by the arena, stop by.

I went for Sunday Brunch, sat at the bar. I had the “Good morning, good morning” with the egg added. I am a ketchup on my burger guy, but I always taste it first before adding the ketchup. This was one of the few burgers I have ever enjoyed without ketchup! Other than that the bartender was friendly, attentive and helpful; the atmosphere was clean and respectable with plenty of room for energy during events.

GREAT experience! We had lunch here today. Totally enjoyed ourselves. Harrison took great care of us! I had the wedge salad. My husband had the meateaters stew. I also had the tomatoe bisque. It was delicious. I like my soups really hot and it was, without me having to ask! Totally recommend this restaurant. Can't wait to go back.

My family and I went to this restaurant a few hours ago. We walked in and we stood there for about 3 minutes unacknowledged because there was no host there. The bartender made eye contact and told us one moment and asked us if we've been helped and then started to walk over to seat us. The host then comes out and ask us how many and finishes seating us. We sit down and it's another 5 minutes and the bartender has to come back over to the table because no one comes over to give us a menu or take our order. We receive our food, and while the fish chips is fresh, it is bland. The tartar sauce almost saved it. The fries were oversalted. My wife's London eye sandwich was burnt. My son's sandwich came out fine. Her sweet potato fries had honey on them and she was never given the option to not have it on them. The seafood mac and cheese was just ok. The vent in the middle of the room started leaking water on my shirt, so I had to move over to the side of the table. Best thing about our visit was the music and decorations. Will not be returning.

Nice bar with fish and chips. Came here as a group of 5 on a work trip. I ordered the blackened cod sandwich with a side salad. The salad was good but the food was kind of cold unfortunately. Food was seasoned well especially the fish. The sandwich was a bit messy but once I got into it and fixed it, it was good.

Best fish and chips! Pretzel and beer cheese are amazing. Pot roast dinner was disappointing. It tastes like beef jerky, not what we were expecting. Good selection of beer on tap. I like that there are paid parking spaces.

Gotta get the fish & chips! Delicious! Huge! We've lived in Tampa over 20 years & somehow are here for the first time! Great food & atmosphere! We will definitely be back!

Yeoman's is a great pit spot before a concert or special event at the Amalie arena. The food is always appealing to the eye and prepared well. My party and I chose a variety of food and created a small plate experience. The highlight for us was the sweet potato fries and grilled brussel sprouts.

I forgot what the name of my entrée was, but it was delicious ! Something I would consider attempting to make from home! Our server Cora is what made the night great! Very attentive, accommodating, respectful and extremely nice. Drinks were good, food was good, service was good! No complaints !
