Hattricks is a combination of two great things. Sports bar and an Irish Pub. Excellent Shepards pie, clean restrooms and plenty of architecture to absorb inside. I highly recommend Hattricks to locals and visitors alike, being close to the convention center.

I had to give this place a try after I heard these were the best wings in Tampa on a recent Reddit post, and as of now I really can't put up a solid argument against that statement! Food/Drinks: I ordered two sets of wings: Dave's Way (lightning sauce, shake n bake, re-tossed in garlic), and medium buffalo style. The wings were cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. I'm basic when it comes to wings so the buffalo were by far my favorite. Ordered some lightning lemonades which are a mixed cocktail with vodka/lemonade. Honestly the drinks were good, but they could use a bit more alcohol for the price (why I usually stick to beer). Atmosphere: Has an Irish pub style layout but decorated in a bunch of hockey/lightning decor which I loved. There are a bunch of TV's around playing mostly hockey so it would make the ideal spot to kick back, have some wings/brews, and watch the lightning play. Service: The hostess was super friendly, sat us right away, and made us feel welcome. Our waitress seemed rushed as they may have been short staffed but did her job well. Parking: I visited on a week night and parking was a breeze. Parked on the street about 20ft from the entrance. There's also a parking lot right next to the building on the left. Overall I love this spot and would definitely come back to try some more wings! If you're in the area give this play a shot.

Great place to watch a hockey game and to have a few drinks before the game at Amalie Stadium. Great interior with all sorts of sport memorabilia and lots of big screen TVs. The wings are meaty and taste great. It you like my hat trick with my photos, reviews and videos then score a like

This was a good sports pub. It was very crowded when we went in. Tables were very close together and it was loud inside, but still a pleasant experience. The restaurant was clean and our table sanitized before we sat down. The food was good, along with their sandwiches. The servers are great. We will be going back to try more things on the menu.

Hattricks was a great place to visit! A Tampa Bay Lightning bar with style and the Irish vibe. The servers were nice, seating availability was plentiful, and food was great. The bathrooms...wow! These bathrooms were big, spacious, and very clean. One of the cleanest bathrooms I've ever been in bar and restaurant wise. My husband said the wings were great with medium sauce. His only comment was he prefers carrots over celery. We will gladly visit again!

They say this is the go to place for wings and I tend to agree. Great option so long as there is no even at the arena when it gets overcrowded. Good pub style food with tons of spirits. Very casual sports bar type atmosphere. If Applebee's was more of a bar and less of a canned franchise, it would be this.

Great food, quick service, decent atmosphere and attractive staff! Only thing I would say on Atmosphere, it is a little cramped... But not enough to keep me away!

I went for the wings. Accidentally ended up there on game night, and still walked right in and had a seat at the bar. Despite being during the game, there was an extremely reasonable time on my wings. $1.50 Happy Hour (4-8PM) wing special. They have game specials on drinks, but I forgot to ask what they were. 😅 I went with the wings "Dave's Way". Good sized wings, good flavor, not hot at all, though, if that's what you're looking for you'll have to add on. Celery was included. Good, thick ranch dip. They were great. Best that I have found in Tampa. Anchor bar is a close second.

This place is a sports-lovers dream bar. It’s been in Tampa for years and is a beloved Lightning bar for before, during, and after each game. College football Saturdays and NFL Sundays are pure heaven with every TV in the building turned to a game. If you go to support your team, you’ll always find another fan there to talk to. Food is incredible all around, and if you get their Wings, you HAVE to get them Dave’s Way. You will not regret it. Buckets of beer are relatively cheap, and plenty of great beers on tap.

We went to watch a football match, the environment is really good and we were able to watch the match without any problems. We had some snacks, I wouldn’t recommend this place for the food but for the environment, it is a great place to get a beer and watch some sports with your friends.

This sports bar in Tampa has an amazing atmosphere, easily the best in town. I had heard great things about their wings, so I went in with high expectations. Unfortunately, the wings were a bit dry, but they still had a good taste. I also tried their fried fish sandwich, which was seasoned perfectly and came with delicious hot french fries. The service was fast, and the staff was very helpful with their recommendations. I definitely want to go back and give their wings another try!

As a place to drink and cheer on some local sports, this is a great place with a great vibe. Especially for Lightening fans. As a place to just eat, the food is okay. The wings are always hyped up here so had to give them a try. I did it Dave's way. Average sized wings that were heavy on the salt with a mild heat and a strong garlic finish. Overall. A decent wing but far from perfection for my taste buds. Then moved to the Coppertail Sausage Sandwich for something that seemed unique. Overall, it seemed the arugula was out of place and sausage patty a tad dry. The flavors just weren't coming together seamlessly. I say lose the arugula and then add an egg and swap to American Cheese and top with a NY style house made onion sauce. But then, that's a whole different creation. I'd just opt for just a solid Italian sausage sandwich sandwich done county fair style with peppers and onions and marinara over this one any day. As a highlight though, the side salad was great. The salad itself was plentiful and had a great mix of ingredients. Unfortunately the salad itself was the highlight of all the food, but not the dressing. While there were some nice chunks of blue cheese in the blue cheese dressing, there was nothing unique about the dressing itself. A good blue cheese dressing made in house with some fresh spices to give it some jive would have been perfect. Overall. The food is more photogenic than flavorgenic. But, if you are a sports bar kinda person or need to catch a game on the screen, give this place a try.

Nice sports bar in Downtown Tampa. The place has a nice vibe and is super social. The wings are probably the best thing on the menu so give them a try !!

Great staff and the food is pretty good. It is downtown, so the parking can be a pain and especially so if there is some event going on. The Italian egg rolls are awesome!!!!! And the wings are pretty good!

Love this place so much! Our server was Liz and she was extremely helpful and attentive. She got our food out extremely quickly and was very friendly. Make sure to ask for Liz’s section when you come here. This place plays all the games, so it’s perfect for sport days and drinking with the friends. Wings are the best in town.

This bar had a good atmosphere. I went on a Friday night and It was pretty packed. I tried two of their drinks, the lightning lemonade and the bay Breeze. I especially liked the lightning lemonade it tasted like blue Gatorade. I didn’t try the food but my friends said the wings were good. Our waitress was very attentive and nice.

Best wings in Tampa! A few friends swear by this place's "Dave's Way" wings, and now I know why! I got the Super Nachos (chicken) and (10) wings "HOT Dave's Way"....and how amazing it was. Our experience was a 10/10 all around. Good job management! You have a great staff! 👍

Very busy place. So busy it was a little confusing but the server was amazing especially considering she had like 10 tables. Food was ok but we only tried appetizers. Apparently they were voted best wings in Tampa but I'm from Buffalo so I'm a bit biased.

Bragged up Hattrick’s wings being the best in Florida. Picked up 20 pieces to take to a wing connoisseur in Sarasota. So disappointed in these dry and hardly seasoned wings. No celery. Almost $50 and I have to add my own sauce. Note to self: Dine-in > Carry Out.

I thought that $11.75 for six wings was insane. I had it Dave’s way with an small order of fries. It was flavorful the wing’s. The crinkled fries were to hard. They did remake it and it was good. I would go back but only at happy hour. Finding parking was a nightmare most of the spaces are reserved for the bank and other businesses. Hatricks has four spots. I would go back but only during happy hour.

Always a good place to visit when you are visiting downtown Tampa. Very friendly service and the food is always delicious. I got the fish and chips and subbed out the fries for the sweet potato fries. Yummy

Cannot recommend Hatrricks highly enough! Polite and professional staff (Kristin and Emily). Food came fast even while the restaurant was busy. Hands down the best wings I have ever had. I got them Dave’s Way and would recommend that if you are going for wings.

What a great pub! First, I have to say that the folks who mention that the prices are too high, are very incorrect. The pricing is so much lower and better than many others nowadays which is a good thing and brings the people in: Like, where can anyone who lives in the Tampa Bay area get fish spread/dip for $8.50 these days? Thank you Hattricks! I visited yesterday, Friday, May 20th around 1:30 and it had a wonderful crowd! I almost couldn’t get a bar seat, was on my own little field trip, but some people scooted aside when they noticed me looking for a seat. Beautiful historic building, including an old cigarette machine still down the hall by the restrooms; nostalgia. The service was impeccable! The lady behind the bar, told me her name but I can’t remember, is very good at serving a whole lot of people, without missing a beat, accommodating as all and she has a packed bar to attend to. Beer bottles were nice and icy cold. And now that I already gave up the price of the fish spread, I’ve always called it dip as I’m originally from NE Florida, that was super delicious and filling with just the right amount of crackers on the plate to cover the amount of spread. My thanks to Hattricks for an enjoyable lunch and I’m sure all the other patrons would say the same. Not a frown on anyone’s mug…pun intended.

Best wings in town! We had them Dave’s way and DELICIOUS! It was pretty busy but the service was still quick and amazing. Great bourbon selection. Plenty TVs to catch some games. I will definitely come back and caught some Lightning and Bucs games!

Pros: Large space, great service, lots of TVS, amazing DIRTY DIRTY martini, we loved our drinks and bartender Kimberly! Cons: The food. Turkey wrap was small and had a soggy tortilla like it was sitting in a gas station cooler, buffalo dip flavor was good but the chicken was so chunky it was hard to “dip” like shredded buff dip Would recommend for some drinks and sports! Maybe the rest of the menu had better options

Wings are phenomenal. I recommend shake and bake (crispier than buffalo style) with lightning sauce (the "hottest" buffalo sauce that's not spicy at all) Fries & Greek salad were a good choice as well! Very good ranch :)

3 starts ONLY because the “rum punch” was delicious but food bland, tortilla chips were stale, and burger seems to be missing salt, pepper, and seasoning. Atmosphere was lively, but couldn’t say the same about our waiter. It’s not a place I’d recommend to my friends to experience unless they want to go for the “rum punch”. Waitress came by and seen that we’re barely eating our food and didn’t ask if we were doing okay or how the food is. She dropped off a water and vanished. Sitting here for 15 minutes now waiting for the waiter to return. Finally asked for the manager and he was kind enough to comp the meal (as he can see was barely touched).

I went to this location after a hockey game with a buddy of mine. So it was very busy. Very good food. Server was super nice. Very nice atmosphere and very clean. If you've not visited this location definitely check it out. I would probably recommend not going after a hockey game if you're looking for a quick bite to eat.

Great sports pub, especially if you are a hockey fan! The menu offers a nice selection. Including the expected fare of wings (which are very good) Nachos and more. A variety of sandwiches and more. Just be prepared to wait as this is a very popular place and they do not take reservations.
