Had to pay my compliments to everyone at zydeco that helped me with my private event. Josh, the GM was outstanding with communication and helping us pull the event together. I was really impressed with his level of attention to us and making sure we were super happy. Another huge shout out to our bartenders Emily and Rachel for catering to our entire 50-60 person party. No doubt that's a tall order but everyone left happy and impressed with the service. Lastly, not to leave out the cooks with their fantastic food and other support staff who ran food and drinks, thank you. My 40th birthday was truly one to remember. I resoundingly recommend zydeco and their beautiful private event space upstairs for your next event.

Located in ybor and it has become a great edition to add to you Tampa go to restaurants. Lousiana themed menu the food is delicious. The shrimp & grits is perfectly made, some of the best grits I've had around town. We ended up in this location because 7th & Grove didn't truly honor our reservation, so instead of arguing and ruining our day we found an even better place that welcomed us! The owner gave us watermelon slush drinks on the house celebrating a birthday and the bar tenders were superb 👌🏾 very knowledgeable about different drinks and even made a special shot for the bday girl! Oh the flat bread pizza was to literally to mouth watering....lol delicious!!! Restrooms were clean & fully stocked and the restaurant was overall clean.

Very friendly staff but the service was lacking. All of our entrees came out at different times. The food was good, but not great. The muffalatte was huge, even the half sandwich. Cajun salad was disappointing and really not Cajun at all. Shrimp and grits should be called "delicious grits with four seasoned shrimp on the side." Very nice beer selection.

Excellent bar. The drink specials are incredible. $20 bottomless Mimosas, giant steins of beers. The tuna plate is incredible 🤤. Our server was very friendly too, and replaced my original drink selection after I tasted it and didn't like it. Really nice atmosphere too inside. Highly recommend!

We were in Tampa/Ybor for a few days visiting and a local recommended Zydeco for some good hearty food. There was no wait and the staff was friendly. The restaurant had lots of room and you could easily have a large group eat there if you wanted to. The boiled peanuts were awesome! I would absolutely order them again. We also got the shrimp mac and cheese and the gumbo. Both were good.

Not sure why I haven’t been to Zydeco before since it’s such a fun spot. Rachel greeted me enthusiastically upon arrival and I felt comfortable at the bar. They have a great selection of tapas and their beer selection is immaculate. I had a flight and I was not disappointed. For food and drink for one it cost less that $30. They also have Brunch on Sundays with a live band from 12-3. I highly recommend if you’re in Ybor.

The grits were to die for!!! I still think about it often and plan on going back just for this. The service was awesome as we went on Sunday evening so it was a little less busy. The boiled peanuts were seasoned well and great to share with the table too. As someone who doesn’t drink, the bartender made me a mocktail that was delicious as well and the company I was with had good things to say about the beer and drinks they ordered.

Service is on point. Food is yummy. Very cool and hip vibe in the middle of ybor city. A great collection of draft custom beer at this place. I tried the beef poboy with chips and the extra side of fries. The fries were hot and covered with a special spice. Yummyyyy. Also they are steak fries. Thick. I had fun watching the different tvs. Talking to the ppl beside me and having my dinner on a busy saturday night. Highly recommend especially for the beer that you cannot get anywhere else.

Stopped for the 1st time in Ybor City Tampa Florida. Got a little hungry and saw great reviews for Zydeco. It was around 4pm on a Sunday and the area was somewhat busy. So I ordered a brisket sandwich, shrimp and grits, and a large pretzel as an appetizer. The brisket was pretty tasteless to me. I actually didn't really enjoy it but it wasn't horrible. The pretzel was super delicious and worth the trip. The shrimp and grits was also very good. The restaurant was very clean and our server was excellent.

An amazing place we discovered in Ybor City, lovely ambiance! Amazing food with big portions and very fair prices. We ordered a flight of beers each and had us a feast. The services was really nice and helped us pick our meals. Definitely coming next time in Tampa! Update: Broke (bartender) & Harris (server) were amazing and made our experience even better the next time around. It’s always a great vibe every time we visit!!

This place was recommended by family member who lives in the area. We ate with a group and ordered different types of food. The shrimp and grits was pretty good. I had a burger with Havarti cheese and bacon and it was really good. I enjoyed it. We also ordered the catfish bites and the fish tasted really good and crispy and the hush puppies were absolutely amazing. They tasted like little fried cornbread bites, and it was amazing. The reason I gave at four stars was because the service was a little slow.

This place is an absolute must try if you’re in the Tampa area and like beer. Some of the best lagers I’ve had in the US, and the IPAs are fantastic as well. Rachel was my bartender, and she is fantastic. If you’re a beer fan, this place is for you. Can’t wait to come back! Prost

If you find yourself in Ybor City you have to try this place. ZBW has a NOLA bar atmosphere with elevated food! Service was awesome! The poutine was life changing! Definitely recommend!

The last hurrah for the Ybor location. Friends canceled last minute. Soloed it and so glad I did. 26 dollars bottomless low country boil was amazing and worthy plus the to go box at the end was ginormous! The band upstairs was an added bonus. Park in a city parking south of 7th. I received 2 free hours!

If you ever have been to New Orleans, you can skip this place as you will be sorely disappointed. We did go mid-afternoon on a Sunday, so I'm sure some evenings might give the place a better atmosphere. The beer is not worth trying. We had the muffuletta, but be warned a full sandwich is as big as a plate. The half is more than enough for two people to share. The staff was delightful, but it's definitely a tourist trap.

We were there for a networking meeting, so they had out trays of food. My husband had wings and a sandwich. I didn't eat because I have food allergies and didn't want to bother asking about ingredients. The servers were prompt in keeping the trays stocked and were friendly and courteous. The atmosphere was very "brewhousey" typical be house decor. 3

We chose to have a bridal shower at zydeco and it was the BEST decision! Everything from the food, to the atmosphere, to the drinks was AMAZING! Josh Henneman was incredible with getting the event scheduled and providing us with all the information that we needed. The day of the event was so stress free and the Zydeco team were able to go above and beyond at making the entire day/event run smoothly. Kevin, our bartender, was hands down one of the best! Everyone loved him and he was so incredibly helpful and kind in getting everything set up that we needed for the event. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else for events. You are in the best hands at Zydeco and we can’t say enough great things about the team and the venue.

We walked in and sat at the bar. Siobhan was delightful. I asked if she had any mocktails and she offered to invent one for me and it was delightful. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 is for the amount of time we waited for food. We were seated almost and hour before our food landed. BUT it was DELICious! And it was not waiting to come to us their kitchen is just understaffed. The positive atmosphere and live brunch music rounded out a very pleasant arrival in Tampa. Highly recommend for upscale bar food and some tapas flare. We had the brunch burger and it was everything I could have wanted and the burrata plate which was so satisfying.

We really enjoyed it here. This was our first time to Ybor, we're excited to go back. The drinks and beer were really good. We had wings and fries. I am really particular about my wings and these were delicious.

Friendly and super helpful staff, great food and a really nice vibe. Best Cajun blackened shrimp I’ve ever had, amazing bread pudding and great flatbreads. 👏🙂

The food was pretty good. The shrimp po boy was pretty good but the brisket gumbo was better. They served a bag of chips with the sandwich, which was unexpected. Service was good. The beer I tried was tasty but served in disposable plastic. It was a little too loud to have a conversation.

My husband Arian and I just hosted our wedding reception on the second level of this restaurant. It was spectacular! We coordinate with Josh, the manager for months and he was extremely helpful, responsive and accommodating. We also met with the chef and he made helpful menu recommendations and was willing to prepare off the menu items for us. On wedding day, the food was delicious and the presentation was elegant which added to our experience and that of our guests. Kami was the manager in charge on the wedding day and she did an excellent job keeping up with us and making sure the courses came up on time and coordinating access for our DJ and wedding decorator. The bartenders and servers kept drinks flowing and tables clean . There was never a line for the bar. Our guests are still raving out the food and experience and we cannot be happier. Thanks for making our day better than what we dreamed off. We, "The Powell's" are grateful!
