All the food on the buffet line was old. Some of the meat had no flavor. They did not replace items on the line while we were there. Such a disappointment. I guess they only gave the fresh food to those ordering off the menu. My wife saw one of the servers take a bowl of rice from a table that was finished and put it back on the line.

Haven't been in here in over 4 years. The place seemed a little dead, service was ok. The food was AMAZING! I ordered the Carne asada. It was full of flavor and it can feed two people. I also had a skinny margarita. It was very good. Will definitely be back.

I ordered a 60oz margarita which I didn’t know existed. It was amazing and only $25!! Also picture is a MONSTER burrito which was delicious. Highly recommend coming here. Staff was personable and very friendly. Their menu has lots of options and the service was quick.

Went for lunch after graduation on Thursday and we could be seated immediately as a party of 5. Friendly staff and food was served hot and quickly. Prices were very reasonable and food was very good. Everyone left full and happy! Highly recommend

I am a regular at this place. Very friendly staff. Love their steak or shrimp fajitas. Also delicious burritos. Quesadias with mushrooms for my son and share my rice with him. Tasty chips and salsa while you hungrily wait for your meal. Plenty of room to eat inside but we always enjoy the fresh air outdoor tables. Noticed a single mariachi singer serenading different tables inside.

Not a bad meal at all! We had a party of 7 and the service was excellent. Between us we had a variety of dishes and all were yummy. My stuffed poblano was awesome and just enough food. Good beer prices too!

While we were in the area, we decided to grab dinner and came across Vallartas Mexican Restaurant. It had great ratings, so we decided to give it a try. Upon entering, we realized that it was close to closing time, so there weren't many people around - especially since it was a Thursday night. However, the atmosphere was still great and very welcoming. Our server, Oriela, greeted us and promptly provided us with menus. After perusing the menu, we decided to order the Fish Tacos and Quesadillas Fajitas. We were soon served Salsa & Chips, which were delicious and complemented each other perfectly. Our main courses arrived shortly after - the Fish Tacos and Quesadillas Fajitas. The Fish Tacos were cooked to perfection with just the right amount of spices, and we thoroughly enjoyed them. The Quesadillas Fajitas were also delicious, and we especially loved the chicken. Overall, it was a fantastic dinner and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Vallartas Mexican Restaurant.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while. There is plenty of parking as it's in a plaza. I went about 6:30 and it wasn't too busy, so I didn't have a wait before being seated. My server, Mara, was very nice. They start you off with chips and salsa, which is one of my favorite snacks. It was very fresh tasting and good. For my Entrée I had shrimp and scalp fajitas. It was just ok. I've had fajitas elsewhere that were more flavorful. These had too much of a charred flavor. I give them a 3 out of 10 on flavor. A 6 out of 10 on portion. The establishment was clean, all except the floor. There were so many chips under my feet that I stayed still. Someone did come around eventually and started sweeping the floors, but under the table is imperative and should be done more frequently . Also, the glove on my fajita skillet was disgusting. I had to wrap a napkin around it. These should definitely be washed more often I would come back if someone had a dinner here. Otherwise, probably not. Happy eating

Had the lunch buffet with chips and salsa. Had some tacos tamales and nachos. The food was good. I love the chips and salsa that the give you for free. The service was okay.

We order 2 large sides of chz and guacamole, along with salsa...we only received 1 bag of chips for all, which was disappointing. Asked for xtra pico-but we received no pico at all. Steak fajitas were a large portion but a bit flavorless-possibly forgot spices. Requested fresh jalapeños-received pickled. Queso, la ultimia, and guacamole were delicious. Beans and rice were great. Maybe just a bit more attention to detail but it was a Friday night, so it's almost understandable. I was charged for a packaging fee-sure wish they would of double checked this bag.

The food was lack seasoning, the salsa, was plain and not spicy, and the drinks were too sweet. I enjoyed nothing about this place except leaving the restaurant. The service was decent, but didn't make up for the bad food. As a real Mexican, I am ashamed of this place.

There is a long walkway in. I did appreciate that there wasn’t pound music playing. The server didn’t really keep up with us ordering. The server played on his phone while our food was being made. The water was 🤮. I had to go to him to order something else to drink. He didn’t understand a drink with no alcohol and no carbonation-no bubbles. You taste the tap 🤣and more. The server was NOT the bartender, but fixed my “piña colada”. I had huge ice chunks so I couldn’t use the straw. I tried 2 straws and still couldn’t drink it. Never had a piña colada with salt around the rim in a beer mug before.👀 It was not blended so well! Syrup and chunky ice. 👎🏾 I guess he has never drank a blended drink before to even know it should be from experience. He didn’t check it or look at it. The chips were warm. The servers weren’t busy so there was a lot of phone usage on the floor. They weren’t the most attentive servers. The tacos weren’t anything special or uniquely tasty - bland. The cheese was different + and smooth. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Oh the guacamole salad🤣🤣🤣 Plate full of shredded lettuce, one half of a slice of tomato, covering a dollop of guacamole! Tada!!! BUT wait there is more… There are a few tiny pieces of jalapeños in the middle of the guacamole😉 (again that’s covered by the 1/2 slice of tomato) 👀 🤣🤣Surprise - Spicy🤣🤣 JUST LIFT TO SEE YOUR GUACAMOLE 👀 The bar’s back focal wall was pretty. + The decor is unique, there are lots of colorful, unique art pieces. They brought the food out 5min apart. We ordered tacos 🤔 We waited, waited, waited and waited for a check as the server played on his phone for more than 30min (on the floor) after we finished eating. Nobody came around and checked on us. 4 tables with 2 people each. Personally not a place I would look to go back to or recommend.

Generous portions. Food was good and fresh but not the greatest. Steak was tough in the burrito. Enjoyed the live music.

Do not eat here! We went there for dinner and my wife ordered an entree that included chicken. Thankfully she immediately tasted and smelled that the chicken had definitely gone bad. I smell a piece of it too and it had an ammonia smell to it. We immediately told the server but we don't know if she even understood. The rest of the food was mediocre. You should not risk eating here and should enjoy food at a good Mexican restaurant, there are many others to pick from in the Tampa Bay area.

Anything you order seems to fill the table ! The food is plentiful and delicious! Well worth any price! Try the shrimp cocktail, a meal by itself full of flavor and so many shrimp! The service was excellent and we went on Sunday night and they had an excellent guiter player who sang for you! I told my wife i found my new favorite restaurant in Tampa!!

Buffet hours not updated so i had to order on my lunch hour. Fajita meat WAY over cooked. Few veggies. Had to get up and get my own plate. Mediocre. Food, service, ambiance.

Boring salsa with no texture. Skinny Margarita is waaayyy too sweet. They tried twice and it went from too sweet to insanely tart. The bar is just truly in need of training. They could have sold 4 top shelf margaritas at our small table, could they have the ability to balance flavors. White cheese dip was way thin and no chilis or texture. It was thinner then paint ..though the flavor was pretty good. My son couldn’t eat his hamburger, the bun came out soggy and it was just gross. Sadly, we were here a while back and had a great experience. I always hope that feedback helps small businesses and owners. I hope this helps this one. We will never be back! Sadly, It wasn’t worth the drive
