Tourist attraction Park Recreation center

👍👍 We have been going to this place for over 12 years now. Had two children in gymnastics and dance. The facility is beautiful and has expanded over the time we have been there. The park outside is very nice for children to play. Although the classes have a long waitlist, it is worth the wait and once... People often mention park, time,

A conveniently located place to let my dog run and socialize. All the owners are very friendly and come with dogs of all different breeds. After rainy days this place turns into a mud hole! Half the park is just dirt so my dog gets pretty filthy when we come here, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. If you want to go when there's lots of other dogs, Saturday mornings around 10 are prime! Weeknights about 30-60 minutes before sunset is also a popular time.

My puppy has a great time there especially when other dogs are there. It’s nice to get to hear tips for the other dog owners.

The park outside is very nice for children to play. Although the classes have a long waitlist, it is worth the wait and once the family is in, the siblings can register immediately. The recitals are a lot of fun and I have been a backstage mom for many of them and enjoyed it. Highly recommend.

My daughter has had good experiences at the New Tampa Rec Center. She participated in dance for about a year and has participated in gymnastics for 3 or 4 years now. She also attended two of the weekly summer camps (cheer and gymnastics) which were offered 3 times each and had a great time.

Wonderful climbing playground. Oddly, they use astroturf. Inside we met very pleasant and informative staff. The dance and gymnastics classes have long waiting lists.

I like it.. plenty of trees and "watch for snakes" signs.. the people are good and the doggos are great. I should say, that I only come here for the dog park part of the much larger park complex.. there are miles and miles of trails around if you want to take anyone for a walk. I'll come back at some point. Maybe check out the rest of it while I'm here.

This center has a Gymnastics facility, play area for the little ones, skate park and also hosts the city's specialty camps over the summer. Very nice!

I went to the dog park earlier this week and thanks to the other reviewers, i was able to find the park no problem! I loved the shade provided and the number of dogs visiting at the time (6:30 PMish) i am only a little concerned with what the park will be like in the hot summer months because of the mulch and trees (maybe it floods/mosquitoes) But at the moment, i am looking forward to taking another trip over there!

Good family fun. Skate park looks good and playground offers enough for the kids. Limited parking during bigger events.

Place was really nice my daughter played softball there but found a skate park for my son. Two for one deal worked out well for me.

This is a gnarly skate Park! I have dubbed thee the O.S park!! I'm still fairly new on my skates and this awesome park made me say ooh sh!t more times than I could count!! In a fun and challenging way! Not to mention they have the best bathrooms I've ever seen!! It seemed to be family oriented with a beautiful covered playground!
