This
was
my
daughters
second
visit
in
two
days
as
she
was
not
getting
any
better.
I
was
concerned
about
her
high
temperature
and
progressive
symptoms.
When
her
temp
reached
104
I
decided
a
recheck
was
necessary
as
I
was
concerned
what
was
originally
diagnosed
was
viral
turned
into
something
else.
Christmas
was
just
a
couple
days
away
and
I
felt
like
we
needed
to
figure
out
what
was
going
on
as
this
was
going
on
day
5.
She
was
seen
by
Dr
Craig
the
second
time
around
who
didn’t
even
retest
her
for
flu,
strep
or
COVID.
She
was
tested
for
mono
the
first
time
by
the
nurse
practitioner
which
came
out
negative.
It’s
frustrating
that
despite
the
negative
results
DR
Craig
still
wanted
to
discuss
a
potential
mono
diagnosis
based
on
some
similar
symptoms
and
her
age.
I
felt
like
he
was
stereotyping
her
based
her
returning
home
from
college
and
her
age.
My
daughter
is
nearly
19
and
didn’t
care
for
his
bedside
manner
and
nor
did
my
husband
who
brought
her.
My
husband
felt
like
he
was
condescending
and
dismissive.
I
too
am
in
the
healthcare
care
field
and
was
not
able
to
bring
her
the
second
time
around
because
I
was
at
work,
but
it’s
probably
for
the
best
because
I
probably
would
have
not
been
able
to
hold
back
my
opinion.
She
did
end
up
getting
an
antibiotic
from
another
provider
and
her
symptoms
started
to
improve
tremendously
so
my
gut
instinct
was
spot
on.
The
viral
infection
that
probably
started
it
off
brewed
into
a
nasty
sinus
infection.
Maybe
instead
of
him
focusing
on
a
negative
mono
test
and
how
many
piercings
she
had
he
would
have
caught
that
and
this
poor
kid
wouldn’t
have
suffered
as
long
as
she
did.
I
have
no
patience
for
arrogant
physicians
but
they
certainly
don’t
belong
working
at
an
urgent
care.
Needless
to
say,
I’m
not
happy
or
impressed
and
I’m
not
sure
I’ll
return.
