Very disappointed with the cake my wife requested. You have to prepay for the cake. Although we only requested one layer, it looks nothing like the picture provided (3 layer cake below). When I attempted to discuss my dissatisfaction, all I got was it looks the same and hung up the phone on me. They did not seem to care that I was not satisfied. The cake was also very dry. The quality has definitely slipped over the years and price continues to rise. Receipt is attached. Suggest you go to Publix or Don Pan for cakes. I have purchased my last one here.

We ordered cookies for my sisters bridal shower. The photos used as examples of what we wanted showed iced cookies. So we expected iced cookies, especially at $7.00 a cookie. We did not receive iced cookies, we got sugar cookies with gum paste and fondant. The person taking our order didn’t say anything about not being able to do iced cookies or set any expectations as to how the order may differ from the photos. Very disappointed. Last photo shows exactly what we ordered, NOT what we received. Maybe the cakes are much better than the cookies.

I ordered multiple cheesecakes for my husbands birthday. This was a very big disappointment, but worse was how unprofessional the owner was when we called for refund.. he offered store credit to a store I don’t live anywhere near, also I would not go back to even if I did… I included a picture as proof we did not eat them… we were at Kobe steak and even the staff knew we did not eat these cakes … honestly if the “owner” had not been so rude to both my son and myself and just refunded the money I would not add review, anyone can have a bad day… I was hung up on before I could every finish talking to explain what I wanted , if there was a negative zero review I would give it . Very bad business and cakes. Very disappointed …

One of the terriblest bakery’s ever. The owner is least bothered for customer’s concerns. The cupcakes are unusually dry and the icing is stale. They are overly sweet. The items are very expensive and not at all worth. See in the pics that the cakes are not even neat. The package is ever more worse. He didn’t even put a holder for the cupcakes. Never going here again.

I paid $80 for the cake in the picture and I honestly overpaid by so much. I personally went to the store and made my order: Marco did a good job in taking the order but execution was horrible. I ordered “mora” (blackberry) but I got strawberry instead. The cake was to have a feather or some type of centerpiece aside from the two pieces it comes with and received nothing. The cake was suppose to say Feliz Cumpleaños but it said Happy Birthday (I saw Marco write it correctly but again the execution failed). The cake itself was dry and the frosting tasted stale. There was nothing redeeming about this bad tasting, poorly done, wrong flavored and overpriced “cake”. First and last time ordering from here.

This is my second time purchasing a cake with this shop and both times the cake looked as if it was made 30 minutes before pick up… last picture is what I asked for, the remaining pictures is what I received. I’m almost certain I could’ve done this work myself. On the bright side I can’t say it doesn’t taste good.

Terrible, so disappointing. The cakes were all dried out, tasted days old . I hate throwing money at Publix because it’s so sweet and I was looking forward to having something different.

I came into The Cake Shop to get a carrot cake for my dads birthday. This was my first time here and the customer service wasn't the best. The icing on the cake is overly sweet and is a hard and crumbly texture. It didn't go well with the cake.

The selection is wonderful and the taste of everything was so amazing and delicious!! We will definitely be back!!! I got 3 types of cheesecake: Peanut butter, Oreo and Guava. Ingot 3 kinds of cake: Peanut butter, Ferrero Rocher and Almond creme. The service was exceptional.

I do not like chain stores. I tried to avoid canned goods that are all coming from Sysco or whatever food distributor all the chains use. It's bland; it tastes bad; it's not as good as homemade stuff. Having said that, this is a single location for this family that makes unbelievable cakes and pastries. It reminds me of my time in New York where I used to get the most delicious cheesecake. That's what they have here. And the other stuff they sell ? Eye popping that's all I can say. And delicious 😋

Highly recommend for any event! Looks great, taste great, awesome customer service. Couldn’t ask for a better bakery! I won’t got anywhere else for an event. 2nd year customer.

For my wife's birthday I was looking to order a cake and wanted to try the new cake shop apart from the usuals. So i searched near me and I saw that there is a cake shop which offers amazing cakes. So, I went and i was amazed by the decorations that the shop had. They offer different types and flavors of cakes. From the flavor I decided to order the butterscotch cake flavor from the cake shop. I picked up the cake before the eve of my wife's birthday. The service was good. The cake was delicious and it was the perfect butterscotch flavor. Loved the cake as well as the cake shop.

We stopped in to try some of their desserts in the display cases and were amazed by the variety. Muffins, brownies, cookies, cheesecake slices, and small cakes. The decorations and flavors of each were impressive too. We got a cookies and cream cake and Black Forest cake to go - very moist cake and the light whipped frosting was delicious. We will definitely be returning!

I ordered a cake for my mother’s 80th birthday and it turned out absolutely gorgeous; it really exceeded our expectations! The flavor of both the guava filling and almond cake was an absolutely delicious combination. Every single guest at the party raved about how incredible it was (and mentioned how much better it was than their own wedding cakes!). They were so helpful in guiding us with the flavors and design, we will definitely use them again! Thank you so much The Cake Shop!

I feel nostalgic every time I come. I took my mom here when she was still with us. She was getting her car aligned next door and now it’s me doing the same thing. People and food here is always very good and the ambience is great as well.

I can say the cake shop is the greatest place for those sweets tooth. I will definitely come again!!! Wonderful service!!! I recommend the Oreo cookies Cake 🎂

Such an amazing experience! When I called they went above and beyond to deliver a great bday gift for my best friends 40th bday cupcakes. I arrived to a beautifully decorated store and within 5 min I was out the door with my order. Not only were the cupcakes beautiful but tasted amazing!

I ORDERED A CAKE FOR MY DAUGHTER’S BIRTHDAY AND IT WAS AMAZING!! THE TASTE WAS SO GOOD AND THE CAKE WAS SUPER MOIST. IT LOOKED WAY BETTER THAN THE REFERENCE PICTURE. LOVED IT AND WILL BE ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN!!!! THE COFFEE IS ALSO REALLY GOOD AND THE PAN DE JAMON WAS EXQUISITE TOO. I AM TRULY IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE

I had a cake order from another bakery canceled last minute. I had 24hrs to figure out where we would get a cake for our kids party. The cake shop went above and beyond to make us a beautiful cake that exceeded our expectations in 24hrs. It was the most beautiful 2 tiered mermaid birthday cake I had ever seen. Thank you to the cake shop and the amazing work that was done to create a beautiful cake overnight. I 100% recommend this bakery!

I ordered what I believed was going to be a hyper-realistic text book cake (a la the pictures on the website). This is what I expressed during my phone consultation. What I received, however, was a sheet cake covered with large sheets of fondant. The cake was DELICIOUS and done on time, so I’m giving three stars (that’s how good it was!). Not only was the NOT hyper-realistic, it did not have the text I ordered. I had told and text messaged the text I wanted on the cake, and was told it was possible. I was also only told about 45 minutes prior to pick up time that my text was “not possible,” and I had to call and find out myself. I was not notified in the week the cake was being designed and built. I never spoke with anyone who spoke enough English to fully grasp the concept, nor to explain to me that the fondant had to be printed on and there would be no free-style design happening at all. I was able to deduce this after a few conversations (and once the cake was already complete). My ask was for them to update the title of a text book and they were unable to do this, nor understand they could edit the image online before printing it onto the fondant. I also had to watch my cake cave in under all of the heavy, terribly placed, fondant again and again, and that was a bummer too.

I used to order cake from here and they were really good back 2 or 3 years ago. 2023 march cake two cake were absolutely horrible. Extremely dry and frosting was gross. The decor was with the incorrect birth number. A complete disaster. I have order plenty of cakes prior to this two and never had an issue but this two last. Made me stop. Like it was embarrassing no one ate the cake. It went to the trash so embarrassing

Wide variety of delicious cupcakes, cakes, pastries and more! Italian Espresso too! Very clean. Very fresh. Found this spot last minute for a celebratory cake. Will definitely be back!
