The best Thai food I have had outside of Bangkok! The service is amazing and the staff is friendly. Everything on the menu is well priced and the food is authentic. I always am recommending this place to my friends, family, and co-workers. The Amazing Peanut Sauce with crispy duck is my favorite item but I have been impressed with every menu item that I have tried!

Some of my most favorite places in this world are the tiniest little mom and pop cafés. This my new favorite! The staff is delightful, the owner asked for (and I am 100% sure will remember) my name even if she never sees my post. The food! Fresh, perfectly seasoned and made with love! If I could give a higher rating I would. I felt like I was walking into a Thailand home tonight! K̄hxbkhuṇ

What a hidden gem! Amazing flavor with every dish we ordered. Owned by a mother / daughter from Thailand. The mother is the cook using her recipes, and the daughter is the waitress - and what truly genuine service especially with our 3 and 7 year old. I usually don’t get Pad Thai, but this one was amazing! Duck curry was also excellent. Only a few seats in the restaurant. This Thai food is definitely one to try!!

My wife and I stopped in a few weeks ago since Charm Thai took over the already great existing Thai restaurant in hopes it would be just as good. To our surprise it was just as good if not better! I will say they are much faster to prepare orders and the cleanliness and quality are still there..We have now been 3 times and each time its just wonderful. Here are some pics of our latest visits and meals..best curry I have had and I have been eating Thai curry dishes for 20 years! Oh, I almost forgot..they do have a wonderful Chinese dish "General Tso Chicken" best I have ever had and they explained they wanted it on the menu for those that may not be familiar with Thai food (a must try) Great job guys!

New Thai restaurant on Manatee "Charm Thai" has great food. Family run, Ying's mom makes the soup bases and everything else is also home made. We've had 3 meals here and each one was great. Highly recommend the green curry, and the pork satay which is authentic but not something you see around here much. Pad Thai perfect, ditto larb gai. We also got takeout once, quick service for to-go orders. Lovely people, help us keep them open!! It isn't fancy and it's very small, only five tables some of them two tops. Best to get there early.

Delicious authentic Thai food with friendliest owners and staff who were way forgiving to our overtired but energetic kids. We had chicken satay, spring rolls (both fries and fresh) and green curry. Everything was made fresh and tasted amazing! The owner told us her life story and it was fascinating! We loved this place and will come here again when we are back in Sarasota!

The food here was excellent and so was the service. It is a bit small but I went on a Sunday afternoon and was able to be seated. Everything I had here was so fresh and tasted delicious I definitely recommend coming here with an appetite!

Visited Thai Cafe for the first time today, and we are wishing this was located closer to home. From the outside, it may not look like much, but there is so much to offer inside. My husband's tofu pad thai is the best he has ever had. For spice enthusiasts, their Thai hot level of spicy is SPiiiiCY. Hubby loved it so much. I ordered a Thai tea and a mild yellow curry, which had a perfect level of heat and just the right amount of thickness to the sauce. The lunch portions are priced very fairly and still have enough for 2 servings, and they come with the soup of the day or ginger salad. Also ordered veggie spring rolls (1 order has 3 rolls), which we could hear were fried when ordered, not before. I appreciate even the little details, like how their ice maker creates hollow cylindrical ice for increased surface area to cool the drinks, and the bathroom is clean and actually has good quality toilet paper. We will certainly be coming back, repeatedly!

I was in town for a wedding (live out of state) and wanted Thai food for dinner. Googled Thai restaurants near me and most closed at 8:30, was almost 8 so went w/ this place bc open till 9. Unassuming on the outside, the restaurant's relatively small/ few tables and we were the only customers. The waitress attended to us immediately and was very polite & friendly. She brought out an attractive set of very tasty different oils/sauces for us to eat with our food. We ordered shrimp Pad Thai and crab fried rice. My bf raved over his food and I tried some and agree it was extremely delicious, beautifully seasoned, not greasy or salty, by far the best pad Thai I've ever tasted & makes me sad I don't live here :( Although my crab fried rice was very mildly seasoned, it was still tasty. It would've been nice with a little more crab meat, but that probably would've increased the price of the dish. I added some of the seasoning oils to it to spice it up a bit and I was very happy with my meal. For delicious Thai, decent prices and friendly, attentive service I highly recommend this restaurant!

My aunt and I saw that this restaurant had great reviews and gave it a try. We were very happy we did. The staff were very welcoming. The food tasted as if it was made to order. The vegetables were crisp and fresh and so were the spring rolls. I had green curry with tofu and my aunt had the chicken and rice soup. The green curry sauce was just right (not too thick or runny) and had a nice kick. I would DEFINITELY eat here again.

What a pleasant surprise. This is a small restaurant but with BIG taste! The dumplings were the best we have had. My wife ordered Pad Thai with shrimp. Excellent. I ordered Green Curry with Shrimp. Equally great! The service was ten stars and the speed of the food brought to our table was amazing! This place is small. Not for big groups. But there is always take-out!

This place was recommended by a Thai friend. I usually stick to what I know, but I wanted something different. The owner is always welcoming and suggested a special. Beef or duck soup in a beef bone broth. I said surprise me. She brought the duck soup with 3 jars containing spicy pepper sauce, thai pepper sauce and a mango sauce to enhance the flavor of the soup. The duck was tender. The thin noodles were cooked just right. Perfect for the cold weather. The only thing I would change, is no cilantro next time. It took away from the other flavors.

We came across this Charm Thai restaurant on the way to Anna Maria. The owner was very nice and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and cozy. We ordered wonton soup( the broth was very tasty), dumplings, beef noodle soup and mango sticky-rice( it was very good, highly recommend if you like mango) Overall, we love the food and service here. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

Frash, delicious, lovingly prepared food created and served by wonderful people!!! We both had the Pineapple Fried Rice with Roast Duck. Simply sublime!!! We will be back!

My food was delicious, service was great and the menu was very clear on what the dish is. I had chicken Pad Thai and it was amazing, better than I expected. Seems everything is made fresh to order. My friends and I will definitely be going back.

I lived in Thailand and this is the closest I have found to authentic experience and food. Bring your appetite and don't be in a hurry. Green curry dishes are awesome. Mango with sticky rice for desert is best in USA!

At first the location seemed a little sketchy, but once we were inside it felt very homely. The staff was amazing and very kind and honestly we could tell the food was made with love. We ordered Tom Yum Soup, Basil Fried Rice, Pad Thai, and Red Curry; the soup was out of this world amazing, and all of the entrees felt like we couldn't have enough of it. Loved the food loved the people I wished we lived closer to get the experience of eating here again and again

Very good food and great host! It’s a cozy place and the host really took good care of our food allergies. Ordered tom yum soup, pineapple fried rice, coconut curry n couple other vegan dishes and everything was delicious! Server Toi and the chef are really friendly n thoughtful about guests diet restrictions.
