I came to Comfort Suites to stay the night after attending the Chris Brown and Lil Baby concert at Midflorida Credit Union Amphitheatre. This location is in walking distance to the amphitheater and fairgrounds! There is a little lake out front with birds and turtles sunbathing, and a small creek on the side of the hotel. All of the staff I came into contact with were so sweet and had no problems answering the many questions I had. The hotel rooms are spacious, very clean, bed pillows and blankets were all super comfortable. Bathroom had a great shower with a detachable shower head, good amount of towels, soap, shampoo, hair dryer, tissues, and the toilet paper was neatly folded which I thought was a nice touch. Inside of the room there was a pull out couch, a desk if you need to bring your laptop and work, a phone, a charging block for electronics, a mini refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee pot with coffee pods, sugar, cream, tea bags, napkins. There's also a closet to hang clothes up in, with an iron and ironing board. Lots of drawers to fold clothes up in. This morning I went down to the lobby for breakfast, which was good. They offer pancakes you can make yourself, eggs with packets of hot sauce on the side if you like some kick to your eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits, toast with butter and Jelly, muffins, cereal, coffee, juices. I absolutely loved this place! It had everything I needed. I definitely recommend Comfort Suites! Really enjoyed my time there.

I've stayed in quite a few of the hotels in this area (and pretty sure all of the Choice Hotels) and this one is definitely my favorite. The price is a little steep compared to others around, but you do get what you pay for here (good) and it's worth it, if you're planning to spend time relaxing at your hotel during whatever you're in town for. Check in was easy, front desk staff friendly and eager to help. Rooms are modern and fashionable, with lots of space. Large bathrooms and pull out couches included in king/double rooms. TV and appliances all worked without issue. Bed was very comfortable and clean. As of mid-February 2022, their breakfast is back to what it used to be, and it includes plenty of tasty hot and cold options. They also have a small heated pool which I enjoyed, and a fitness center as well. Housekeeping is every three nights if you're on a long stay, and they will also bring you what you need aside from your room being serviced if you call and ask nicely. Only picky things that I have to say is that there are no TV channel guides in the rooms and the top of the shower curtain in room 320 was torn. Also no safes in rooms, but I just took valuables with me each day. I come for the state fair each year and will definitely stay again. Huge step up from the Clarion Inn off Adamo (never again will I stay there) and the Quality Inns towards Busch Gardens and Ybor.

The staff was friendly to interact with upon check in and check out. The room was spacious and clean. Did not sample breakfast as I checked out before it was served at 0630. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and I will definitely stay here again. Truck drivers there is truck parking.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was delicious, fresh. and the dining room was spotless. Very professional and friendly staff. Great accommodations for what we needed. We went to a concert and walked less than a mile to the concert venue.

This was a delight. The outside is unassuming but when you get inside this hotel does not disappoint. The room was spacious and the hotel is washed in vibrant colors. Bed was firm but cozy. The bathroom was clean and inviting. Not a tiny closet like you often see now days. 10/10 would recommend and stay again.

It's was a nice hotel. Great location for trips to hard rock. They are in the middle of renovations. But didn't cause us any issues. The room was a whirlpool room with fridge, mic and coffee make. The bed was very uncomfortable for us one lamp on by the bed side didn't work.. need another lamp by the coffee maker its a bit dark. Hopfully they take care of some issues in the renovation. Not knocking this hotel just pointing out some issues. The staff was polite and helpful. Would stay again.

No complimentary bottle water, I was charged $3.50 for a bottled water. Also charged $5.68 for an amenities and location fee? Because we were close to the hard rock casino and because they sold sodas and hot pockets in their lobby. I would look for another hotel before I book here. The only thing positive was the shuttle and shuttle driver. I hope this review was worth $9.18.

The place is underconstruction from my understanding! It was foggy and dingy! So far, it is one of the worst hotels I have stayed in! The staff members gave great customer service. The hotel more definitely needs to be remodeled. The furniture was old and wore out. The price for the room was overpriced. Most Comfort suites I have lived in were superb! Taking pride in your property means everything to me because this is my money I am spending on your merchandise.

Hotel was clean and convenient to casino but it was not worth the cost. The whirlpool was very small and not comfortable. There was a significant price change on booking site compared to when I booked. I talked with front staff at hotel and CHOICE about the disparity and my price was not adjusted. Also my card was charged the 1st night rate a day in advance. Glad I had that amount on it because my room would have been cancelled without me knowing. They had to bring another frig in as well due to issues with first one. Breakfast was limited and could use an upgrade.

Easy walking access to the amphitheater. Got an email the weekend before about construction going on and that we’d hear some noise. We didn’t. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were fantastic and everything was fresh. Weird thing happened though, at 2ish in the morning we were woken up by a pizza guy knocking about a pizza we ordered, but we didn’t order we were all asleep. Didn’t go away until a min or so after we told him (through the door) that we didn’t order it. Woke up the next morning to a pizza flyer slid under the door. I wish I remembered the name of the pizza place.

One name ALEXIS! She is the reason I give this hotel 5 stars. She exhibited amazing customer service (which is a bit of a rarity these days). I visited for a wedding this past weekend. From the moment I walked in she greeted me. There was an issue with my room key, an issue with the cleanliness of the bathroom, and the air conditioning not working (new room). Imagine after a 3 hour car ride, how frustrating, right. Alexis was BEYOND accommodating, apologetic, and did everything in her power to rectify the situation and made sure I was settled in a decent room (while maintaining a smile and positive attitude). You truly have a gem with this employee! She represents your front desk well!

Front desk was very accommodating and friendly, room was comfortable, bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water, and Wi-Fi was good. A small negative was trying to find the channel listings for the tv. A card in the room said check the electronic guest directory for channel listings...didn't have a clue where that was or how to access it. Location was not the best either as far as food options go...there was a overpriced 5 guys location wakable and s wing place but that was about it.

Friendly staff, lots of parking. I stayed in a room with 2 queen beds and the room was pleasant to be in, nicely painted, well lit, a small couch as you enter, a huge TV, a nice bathroom with a crescent shower curtain making showers more enjoyable. The only thing I wish was for more reliable / faster Internet and some vegan breakfast options.

Jessica at the front desk could not have been more pleasant and welcoming. The extra $20-40 over the cheap competition is unquestionably worth it. I would definitely stay here again.

For spending over $225 for a night I was disappointed. The staff was nice and breakfast was great. However, our sink leaked. Everytime you turned the water on it came out of the pipe and all over the floor. We did tell the front desk and they just said ok they will tell maintenance. We ended up putting all the towels under the sick because no one came to fix it. The lights were extremely dim, and the lamp on the desk didn't work. This is also the first hotel I have ever stayed in that requires a $150 deposit hold with your bank.

Wasn't very happy with the room. It was clean, but some of the amenities were missing. Such as a safe in the room, also we stayed for two days and no one came to tidy up the room... I guess you got what you paid for

The hotel itself is not worth the prices super run down and you’d be better off going somewhere else. We had an issue with the hotel and Kelly the manager did anything but help. She seems untrained for her position and has no hospitality skills. I hope the hotel improves their management and customer services because I’d rather sleep in my car then stay at this location.

This is a good hotel to stay at. Rooms are always clean, breakfast is good and staff is friendly. Great location with plenty of parking space. One of my favorite Comfort Suites to stay when working in Tampa.

Very nice hotel , across from the fairgrounds. Staff is very nice. Good breakfast and comfy bed. We got room 507 which is special accommodations room, so huge and view of fairgrounds from here. Came for a crowded concert and just left car at hotel and crossed the street. After the concert, there was a jam to get out, but not us😊... easily walked through the cars that were struggling to get out, just crossed the street ( as many more were doing) and we were in our room... excellent location!

This is a very nice hotel and clean. The staff was friendly, the continental breakfast in the morning was good, not that you should expect much out of a breakfast that’s included. However it is very nice to have this as an option for a quick grab and go in the morning. My son said the coffee was good! I would definitely stay here again if I were going to another concert or event at the Ampitheatre
