I have stayed at this chain of hotels many times and that’s why I chose this one. It was probably the worst experience ever. They place was infested with German Cockroaches. The worst of the worst. I can tolerate a palmetto bug but not these. I had to make sure I didn’t transfer this nasty bugs into my house when I got home. Shouldn’t have to go through that. Would never suggest this hotel to anyone.

My stay of 5 days and 4 nights... ample parking, good swimming pool, good breakfast, good laundry, cleaning could be better, service at the counter could be better. It is not excellent but if you want you can improve it. In my case we had a situation where we saw that it was not attended to as we expected, we made a claim and it was not attended to, marijuana smoke entered the bathroom all day and spread to the entire room, which made us go to complain because it was very strong, exaggerated I have 2 teenagers and one of them got sick with allergies, so I had to go buy some medicine for him, he didn't sleep as we expected, they even went to the room to check and they did say that the smell is very strong but from there they disappeared and didn't come back and not even the supervisor attended to the situation, the smell spreads to other rooms because other people told us that they also had the same situation and it was not resolved. Personally we will not return to this place, customer service is the most important thing and even more so with a situation as it is. They did not move us to a room, they did not give us a discount, they did not bring us the spray that she said she would bring to eliminate that smell, they did not follow up. When we finally left there was also no one at the counter, that morning they left the bill under the door and that's it. I am paying for excellent attention but in this hotel it was not. We left there with a headache and allergies, we had never experienced this situation in any hotel. The hotel should have a smoking side is my recommendation. The smell of cigarettes and marijuana is very different and doing it inside a room is deadly. Apparently the administration should verify these events, so that the stays of more families are not affected. It was our first time in this hotel and what a pity that it did not meet our expectations, for the price one expects better and each night $159.00 plus $13.52 plus $9.54 of taxes…total of $182.06 per night.

The staff at this hotel have been the best I've ever had. I misplaced a speaker and they all jumped at hr opportunity to help me. They were incredibly accommodating and one of the ladies gave me a hug and wished me safe travels as I was leaving. The rooms have some blemishes but the people make up for it. There's not much within walking distance, but the location was perfect for my business trip. Thank you all for a wonderful stay. I'll be back!

The hotel would be excellent but it is a bit outdated. The first thing one notices is the great staff! I mean, everyone here is awesome! Best service/interaction ever! The complimentary breakfast is good with a variety to choose from. The pool & gym are small but decent. The suites have mini kitchens, so it is great for extended budget-minded stays for work or with families. The location is great for access to Tampa & Brandon. It is also right off I75, so travel to/from is really convenient/easy. The main drawback/ negative thing here is that everything is old/outdated & could use a renovation. Though no of the issues of outdated decor & facilities are deal-breakers... the staff go out of their way to see to that! This was the 2ed time my family has spent at this location & we plan to again on our next stay in Tampa/Brandon.

In a nutshell: I would definitely recommend staying here. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. Breakfast including the coffee was something I looked forward to - most excellent! It's hard to find a place that accepts my Aussie (50 pounds), but these guys made him feel just as welcomed. I felt safe in and outside of the building.

The staff is very nice. Housekeepers didn't clean the room when we left or took out the trash. Breakfast was cool and had good choices. The people who made the breakfast were very helpful. Plates in the room were dirty. But overall, a solid stay over the Christmas break.

Within a few miles from Hard Rock casino. Nice rooms, good breakfast and a social hour with free beer and wine! Wow! Felt safe, too. Very happy with our choice to avoid the hotel rate from hard rock! Wonderful experience! Employees went above and beyond! Tyvm!

The STAYBRIDGE Front Desk staff was excellent, very attentive, friendly and helpful. Itsel was also great, very efficient in working to keep the breakfast buffet clean and well stocked. Thank you for an enjoyable stay in the Tampa area!

Fast checkin and check out. Rooms really nice and clean. Staff need to be more polite with customers ,specially breakfast crew,some utensils are missing from kitchen and we call twice in two days to get it ,Finally manager came and drop it by her help , appreciated.

Hot tub bleached my friends bathing suit, destroyed our jewelry, and cause irritation to our skin. The manager Dedra said she would not provide compensation or refund the cost of the room although the damage to the jewelry alone was several hundred dollars. She was polite, but ultimately they do not care about their customers or their safety. Go anywhere else.

I would not recommend anybody to come here. This place is like a shelter. Actually it is a shelter. This is not a hotel. I was so disappointed when I came here from July 14 or way to July 19. It just been horrible please I’m begging you do not come here it’s super ghetto. The only thing great about this place was the stuff they have nothing to do with the fallen apart of the hotel.

Staff was super friendly, but rooms were AWFUL! Everything felt dingy and dirty. The shower was so dirty and rundown I wouldn't even let my children shower without their sandals on. I was really disappointed we ended up leaving a day early because it felt so dirty overall.

Every employee I dealt with was pure joy! They were wonderful and loving. They worked with us as we traveled with our dog. They made sure to love on him as well…dog treats & pets were abundant. Bigger garbage cans for kitchen area would be nice, but they were quick to help in every instance.

Nice duck-off spot, with lots of parking. The breakfast is great not much of a variety though. More vegan, none pork breakfast meats and grits would be a nice addition. I've been there two weeks come this Thursday and they have not cleaned the suite yet, when I asked if they could vacuum, I was told they don't vacuum on extended stay guest but they would do it because it wasn't busy. Overall I've had a great experience.

Although it wasn't the cleanest hotel I've stayed at, it was comfortable, quiet and a good value overall. The complimentary breakfast was better than average and any staff interactions we had were great! For our needs, the location was great... 20 minutes to Amalie Arena, about 45 minutes to Clearwater Beach, 20 minutes to Busch Gardens and an hour to Orlando... easy to get everywhere! Overall, we feel we received good value in staying here!

Five stars for Angie on the night audit shift as she was so helpful and went above and beyond to help with an issue I experienced. This hotel has seen better days, but I needed something close to my cousin so we could get wedding planning done. I ended up checking out because of an issue I encountered with a live bug (and let’s just say, I’m petrified of bugs) and Angie came and saved the day! Angie could clearly see my distress and not only came back to my room with me to make sure the shoe I hurled at the big actually killed it, and then flushed said bug and was kind enough to cancel the rest of my reservation since there was no way I would be able to sleep tonight (I’m writing this review while I wait to check in to my new hotel), if I stayed there. She was so helpful and accommodating and you can tell she really cares about her job and her guests. Angie if you’re reading this, thank you times a million!!!!!

If your looking for a hotel with no rules. This is it! The hotel smells of marijuana. Our room has roaches. I had to buy roach spray. The breakfast is not good. The rooms could use a makeover. Pets are supposed to be on the first floor. They seem to be all over the hotel. The carpets are dirty. No dishwasher soap. The fridge was dirty. There is never any towels. I will say housekeeping did the best they could. All very nice.

First and foremost Allie at check in is awesome! Overall staff is great! Now for the down side. Hotel needs some serious TLC. I had new pack of white socks, the carpet was dirty in the room and turned bottoms of socks black, Water pressure is bad and no hot water. Warm at best. Breakfast was horrible! The staff said they were waiting for truck order to be placed a d that new upper management was coming. Had one average breakfast and it went down hill from there. Reminded me of military when u run out of fresh food you get seconds or thirds lol. Fill up on yogurt lol

Great location, Cozy and pleasant stay. Nice ambient environment with lounging area. Pleasant and very clean rooms with kitchenette, but the thing that makes this such a great place to stay here is the staff!!! All of the staff are incredibly helpful and generous with their time to assist with anything needed. Thank you for an amazing experience.

Nice area and close to the Tampa fairgrounds. Staff is super nice. They were able to let us check in early. Our room was perfect, full fridge, microwave, stove, dishwasher. Pool and gym were very nice also. Breakfast was yummy. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was spacious but the carpets were wet in areas and there were dishes in the dishwasher from previous guests. No detergent available to wash them. Breakfast on the first day was lacking. We came early at 0730 and there was no milk for the cereal and the waffle maker was gross. We didn't even eat. The room across the hall from us is used for storage so at 0600 every morning, the door was opened and closed repeatedly. No towels at the pool. Some of the washers and dryers are out of order in the laundry room. There was plenty of parking available and the staff are nice. Beds are comfortable and housekeeping replenished our towels daily. Not the fault of the hotel, but a rooster crowed every morning at 0500. Overall our stay was nice, but some improvements could be made.
