Not the best place to stay. The room was not clean. The floors, the counters, furniture were all dirty and dusty. The mattress sheets as you can see were very dirty and stained. One of the stains was certainly blood. The floors were also stained and dirty. I went to the office and made them aware of the issues and requested clean bed sheets. The attendant gave me a look as if I was being unreasonable and really bothering her. Her response was priceless. " I can get you new bed sheets but can't guarantee that they won't be stained as well" then she tells me that they are out of clean bedding sheets and covers. The pillows were impregnated with the smell of cigarettes, Turned on the A/C unit to cool the room and the cigar smell fit even worst! Please save your money and use one of the surrounding hotels. This place is not worth the hassle, certainly not worth the price, and they don't seem to appreciate their customers.

Good front desk clerk but that's all that was good. I probably should have known something was amiss when I saw the police patrol. Tge photos don't display the magnitude of filth...the bathtub, floors, and walls were dusty and dirty. The king sized bed had 1 pillow and used linens. This place is a dump!!!

The phone in the room didn’t work, the lobby was dirty, the room reeked of cigarette smoke, and there were dozens of stray cats roaming the premises. The room lacked a refrigerator. There’s no housekeeping; they simply bang on the door offering towels. They don’t speak English, so they continue to slam on the door until someone answers. The bed made me itch. The only decent thing at this hotel was the shower. The water pressure wasn’t good, but it wasn’t horrible either. The price was cheap, but I wish I spent a few extra dollars to stay at a nicer place.

0 star, please don't visit this hotel, the "premium" room was dirty every where, dusty and smelled, I couldn't stay on the room for 5 minutes!! I asked for refund and they charged me $82 anyways, I will do all necessary to get the full refund, honestly don't even think of the possibility of booking a room there, I probably sounds exaggerated but I'm trying to advice everyone!!! City need to have regulations or inspections to those 0 stars hotels

Didn't even spend the night here, after seeing our room we got our money back and left. The only good thing was the front desk worker was nice. The room was horrible. After pulling the sheets back found a bunch of hair (clearly wasn't ours) the cover on the AC unit was off and it had mood all on the inside ! The room smelled like straight smoke to the point it was nauseating. Also was just not a safe area at all.

I use to stay here all the time for work. Last night I payed twice what I use to pay and there was no fridge at all and I woke up to roaches all over my room. Disgusting, I am not happy or satisfied in any way shape or form. Cannot believe I payed $140 for one night and no fridge and roaches everywhere. Y'all need to make it right 😤

My experience at the red roof inn was pretty ordinary considering the type of hotel I was at. The staff were very monotone and seemed to be stuck in the routine of being a front desk clerk at - a Red roof inn. The typical things you'd expect to be wrong were wrong ie the vending machines were both out of order. Each one having their own problem. The rooms were small and with the king size bed I had in my room only made the room seem even smaller and more desperate. My room had ZERO refrigerator and was $10 more to get a room with one. I utilized the ice machine around the corner and was grateful that was in full functioning order. I was able to fill my sink up with ice making it into a little cooler. Other than those few things, the stay there wasn't bad considering my room didn't have much going for it .

Rooms are standard for cheap rooms. We got the room last minute flight came in late didn't have a place at 7:00 in the morning so they accommodated which I appreciate. I am a housekeeper myself so I tend to clean up a room myself when I stay there. I did end up cleaning the bathroom counter and toilet and living area with my own cleaning supplies because I felt a little nervous. I did feel a little nervous walking around barefoot. But what they did have is the clean bedding was on the bed and they had a safe secure place for us to rest our head and our time of need. The receptionist was very polite. I give a total shout out to the workers. It's not easy working in customer service. Did I mentioned when you called in New Year's Eve night the morning 7:00 a.m. and then accommodated us and they were polite and they worked with us and our pricing. Coming from out of state we were bowling on a budget and we were very tired and exhausted from calling around we appreciate the kindness from the girl at the front desk she can tell situation and she could have been rude or made it more difficult but she did not she was kind and understanding if I had my own facility I would hire her and give her a raise whoever you are thank you kind girl. There seems to be a lot of action at the hotel but it's nothing that's loud there's busyness there's people here but not too much noise the room holds sound good other than that you pay for what you get and it's a simple room I would say bring some cleaner for the toilet if you're a clean freak like me and be nice to the girls at the front desk and they will pay you back the same respect

I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotel and motels ( hotels / doors inside - Motels / doors outside ) and this location jumped to first place immediately. Everything about this location is five stars. It’s perfect Gen X type motel but looks new and very well lit even with a pool ! I’d absolutely recommend this motel and I will be staying here again when I come back.

Checked in last Tuesday for a 4 night stay. The pictures didnt look great but i was expecting a decent place for me to just sleep. The room was very dirty and dusty including bugs and room damage. I also had a first floor room that opened up into the parking lot. The door handle was incredibly difficult to open to get into the room, the door clearly had damage on the outside from people trying to get in. Needless to say I checked out immediately and found a safer and cleaner hotel for my trip. The staff seemed nice from the few conversations I had with the front desk, but I have yet to hear back from the manager in terms of getting refunded for my canceled stay. In short there are safer, cleaner, and nicer hotels in the area that are a better choice and are pretty close the price range of this hotel, personally 99 per night is asking way too much for these rooms.

Please read the reviews and DO NOT STAY HERE!! After a bad experience in Ohio, I vowed to never stay at another Red Roof Inn, but gave it a shot. NOPE!! The hotel is very dirty and smells bad, even the lobby. The staff were nice but the accommodations are terrible. The floor was visibly dirty and sticky. The bedding appeared "clean" but very stained with burn holes. There was a dead roach on the floor. The fridge was unplugged and there was water all over the floor. The hotel has a lot of permanent residents and is unsafe. Someone literally got stabbed 2 rooms down from me!! If I hadn't prepaid I would've left immediately. Not worth it, spend the extra money. I will never ever stay at any Red Roof Inn again!!

Just checked in last night and came in to find a stained comforter and dusty sheets. The room was hot and smelled like cigarettes. Then one of the towels in the bathrooms was dirty and stained. Only half of the buttons on the tv remote worked, and within the first 2 hours we found 2 roaches. The knob of the faucet also isn’t attached and falls off whenever you try to use it. Very dirty and smelly. Booked 3 nights but we’re going to stay somewhere else for the last 2. Never stay here

We made a reservation based on the pictures we saw as it looks an attractive place to stay and rest for a night. However, when we walked into the room we first noticed the smell of the room. Very disgusting. The room smelled like a homeless person lived there for years. I used the bathroom and it was super dirty. There are no words to describe how uncomfortable and disgusting this place was. Since we couldn’t stay not even 5min in this room we cancelled and started looking for another hotel. False advertisement with the pictures. Read all the reviews to try to understand how a bad experience anyone can be experienced in this hotel.

I like the location, there is alot of trees near by, they do have an elevator which was really great but the room is really small and average. The TV is not a smart TV and that sucks, there is no microwave or fridge inside the room so you will need to go buy some hot food and eat it as soon as you can cause the roaches will follow. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!

"Embarking on a recent journey, we found ourselves choosing Red Roof Inn, and it turned out to be an absolute gem of a stay. From the moment we walked in, the warmth of the staff made us feel right at home. The cleanliness of the rooms was commendable, and the cozy ambiance added an extra layer of comfort. One standout feature was the complimentary breakfast, offering a delightful spread that catered to various tastes. The attention to detail in providing such amenities truly elevated our experience. Moreover, the convenient location of Red Roof Inn made exploring the surrounding area hassle-free. What truly sets this establishment apart is the exceptional value for the price. The affordability coupled with the quality of service exceeded our expectations, making it a standout choice. Our stay at Red Roof Inn was not just a temporary accommodation; it was a memorable experience that left us thoroughly satisfied. In sum, we wholeheartedly endorse Red Roof Inn with a five-star rating. It's a testament to their commitment to customer satisfaction, and we wouldn't hesitate to choose them again for future travels. Kudos to the Red Roof Inn team for creating an environment that truly feels like a home away from home!"

The room was clean, the front desk clerk was friendly, the only thing I didn't appreciate was there were cigarette butts all over and it smelled like an ashtray outside the room. The rooms could use a fridge and microwave. Overall good value.

The manager Diana always makes me feel welcomed and is very helpful. Also, let me say how sweet and pleasant Ms. Kisha at the front desk is. All around everyone is super positive and keeps me coming back. A quiet setting too. Highly recommend others to give this hotel a try!!

If i could give negative 5 stars i would. I killed 5 roaches within the first 5 min. The room was dirty, smelled like mold and the roaches continued. Criminal activity is everywhere here. It looked as if nothing had been wiped down. We ended up going and getting a roach fogger and roach motels. The website states they have a heated pool which they don't. I would not recommend staying here to anyone. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere clean. As you can see in the pictures they are only here to make money and for $600 a week it's a total rip off.

We stayed the weekend and room , You could see that they don't deep clean, only a courtesy clean. I found roaches coming in and out of the TV area, door area, and then the toilet only fills if you slowly let the handle down. We let them know and got a shrug of like oh well. Thanks for ruining our first time to Tampa area.

Worst place everrrr. I have 3 of my kids with me driving through in our semi & I literally had to bathe all them on my leg bc the bathroom was so disgusting. The tub is peeling & nasty the whole area around is nasty it’s falling apart. Pleaseeee don’t stay here. There was also two roaches in the bathroom wen we first got here. Only reason we stayed because they are all 4 & under & needed to stretch & get out of the truck since we was riding for two days. Iam calling code enforcement. This shouldn’t be able to be stil standing servicing ppl for 80 plus bucks & it’s not livable in. Tear them down

Police constantly come in and out. They will even sit and wait for something to happen. Its crazy. I've seen women selling themselves and drugs...I know why the police are there now. The staff is really cool but has a bad location.

Not impressed at all. My friend and I came to the ice arena and decided to stay here bc she had a good experience at another location. The lobby was dirty, not tidy, stains on the carpet. Room was gross ... The door was filthy on the inside, 2 lamps had no bulbs, phone charging ports didn't work bc someone cut the cables. The bed looked okay until we turned it down, it had long hairs, pubic hairs on the sheets. There were chunks of the floor missing in the bathroom, and the shower was discolored and covered in rust water stains. Extremely disappointed 😔

  • 1/5 Nicola K. 5 months ago on Google
Cockroaches everywhere! No exaggeration, counter tops, walls, bathroom, right next to the bed, under the bed, it's just gross. Towels and sheets are stained and grubby. Workers are constantly smoking while cleaning rooms so the smell of smoke is always present. Dogs are left alone to cry all night. Children of residents are constantly screaming. People arguing/fighting. Constant police activity. The trash on the landings was not contained.

I just needed a room for one night. Receptionists were great, seeing my age from my driver's license, I was given a senior discount. But as far as the room, not so great. Room was clean but the only sink in room had no running water. When I first arrived in room, the TV remote did not work. I went to use phone in room to call the desk, only to find out the phone cord was cut making phone useless. I had to call from my cell phone. They did bring a new remote right away. TV had very few channels to watch and they had no list of what channels they did have. There was a small area on side of building that had an ice machine, but a lot of good ice did if there was no water from sink. The vending machine for drinks only took cash. The next morning as I was leaving I saw other customers sitting outside their rooms, gave me impression that they were regular tenants there? The place was OK for the one night, but nothing to brag about.

Dirty room..dirty bedapread...2 beds and 1 towel...2 handtowels..no microwave...reeked of cigarrette smell. Couldn't breath. Requested room change and attendee stated we needed to do change online. Horrible...just horrible

This has to be one of the worst rooms I've ever stayed in. The bathroom was out dated which. That prototype but not they're being other people still stuck to the inside toilet rim. The stand was dirty and had features. On the wall in the bathroom. I saw a roach. The molding around the walls was coming off in certain areas. The floors were dirty with sand or dirt residue.. When other thing that I really hate is that they run a run your credit card before you even get there. And then cancel your reservation if the card declines. Eye personally use a card for holding but that's not the card that I'm going to pay with. Also I had requested a first floor room. For them to tell me that everything was full and that wasn't even true.

  • 3/5 Anthony S. 9 months ago on Google
the room was not clean and the shower had mold and there was someone else's dirty shirt in the bathroom. It was the worst place I ever stayed. If I had another choice I would have moved immediately.

Rooms are completely filthy, broken equipment, stains on everything and when you bring it up to management they tell you to take a hike. Been arguing with customer support for almost a month now to not get a refund but this location and this company need to fix how they work with people or they will soon be out of business absolutely despicable we will be looking into our legal options about our refund as well

In town for an event. Booked several rooms for our staff. I wish I could post the pictures that we took. This rooms were absolutely disgusting. We wanted to change our room, it was so bad. But nothing else was available. Then asked to have someone come up and throughly clean it. The front desk was very rude and said there was no one on staff, at that hour, to clean the room. We slept on top of the blankets and wouldn't step foot in that shower. Really ruined an otherwise fantastic weekend :( NEVER AGAIN!

Absolutely disgusting. There was stuff on the floor, light switch was beyond rusty, there was pee on the toilet and the toilet was disgusting. And the bed looked dusty and the room had a weird smell i do no recommend this place. Instead get extended stay America or something because that was absolutely disgusting.

  • 1/5 Teresa C. 1 year ago on Google
Room was unhealthy & absolutely unsanitary from top to bottom. Upon check-in, we informed the office that we had an issue with the room. No housekeepers on duty until the next day so we were given a spray cleaner & towels to mop & clean up with. It was useless & beyond our capabilities. You can see the pics & understand why we didn't stay. We were given a full refund (3 nights) & an apology. Phone in room didn't work, clothes & personal belongings behind nightstand. Room stunk terribly. Shady activity & people in neighboring rooms. Strong odors of Marijuana seeping from several lower level rooms. Staff was very understanding, friendly & cooperative. I must add that they were not surprised by our complaints.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. They lost the iron at the hotel. Apparently they only have one iron for the entire hotel. Literally over 100+ rooms and you missed place the iron. I have and event to be to tomorrow and my suit needs to be ironed. But no. I can’t even have that. Every hotel that I’ve ever been to had an iron. But not this one. And oh it smells too💀.

Room smells like cigarette smoke. Was dirty from the bedspread all the way in. Bathroom has mold in and around the tub. Tub was missing the stopper to take a bath. Sink base is broken. Things left on the fridge. This is the worst hotel I stayed at. Can't believe Priceline would even recommend this place. Send like a pay by the week slum.

Rooms smell of smoke could not stay the night, had to leave and get my parents their refund. Bibs had excellent customer service, only reason this place deserves any stars. Spend the extra $$ and stay at a better place

This was a last minute resort for the hurricane 🌀Ian we had come through here in Florida... there was A LOT of areas in this room w/ 2 standard beds which had been neglected after many MANY occupants in a row by this hotels cleaning personnel. I guess they just don't get paid enough to consider sweeping out from under beds, cleaning trash out of drawers or considering to check if ANY of the 3 water pipe lines were clear of debris to fully flow as expected whenever paying for a room for several nights. Shower was backed up, sink & toilet were all poorly draining. After informing management they gave a plunger 🪠 then after this was no solution to the matter they gave a plunger with a longer stick attached... not sure what difference that was going to make... and, I would say I am a near professional grade pipe cleaner.. having 4 boys has taught me a few tricks over the years. All in all I wasn't overly happy. However, I didn't pay for the room, so I guess I can't complain too much.

Terrible. Room smelled of cigarettes, pillows, blankets and towels all had stains. Bed sheets had blood on them. There was a dirty sleeveless shirt behind the pillows and some used dirty towels on the floor. TV but no remote and phone cord was broken. Toilet, shower and sink I had to clean because of how disgusting it was.

  • 2/5 Roger B. 1 year ago on Google
I used to stay here fairly often, but was not happy with my last visit. First of all the rates for a king room were not 93.00 it was 124.00. The pool was closed, there was hair everywhere in the room including the bed, the floor, the sink. It looked like someone shaved their whole body in there.

  • 2/5 Marcus T. 1 year ago on Google
The lady gave me a discount or I would not a stayed. The bathroom wasn't cleaned. The towels were the sorriest. Motel 6 is next door. The pillows were not overly big which agreed with my neck. And cable TV is a wish.

  • 2/5 Doris W. 1 year ago on Google
Hotel has a lot false advertisement printed under their description of the hotel. The room was just clean enough for a one night stay. The bathroom was very small. They advertised that there refrigerator and microwave in rooms. There was neither in our room. It was advertised that renovations were being made and that is a false statement. The price was too expensive for a bare minimum mediocre room.
