This place is not for the faint of heart ..... if u get put in the back building ..... homeless people sleep in the hallways at night and smell of drugs is everywhere at night. A man beat his girlfriend at 7am woke everyone up . Owners dont care. Tricks and johns in and out..... this is a deplorable place..... the front building attached to the the lobby may be better if u are lucky to get up there ...... will never stay here agian. Waste of money and time...

This place is infested with roaches. Literally every time I turn on the lights I get to watch them scatter, was not able to sleep. There was constant screaming in the hallway AT 4 in the afternoon, the cops were called. There are always people in the hallways and in the parking lot having loud conversations. The back building is by far one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed and I’m prior military. Don’t waste your time or your money. It’s disgusting and gross.

First thing I saw when I came in were huge roaches and it was dirty, luckily I had my own cleaning supplies with me. The bedding has stains on it as well. Very disappointed and money wasted. I don’t even want to lay my head here.

Dropping off a Displaced friend; convenient to Bus Stop, I believe Rooms are efficiency; Other Family members lived here in the past.

2 nights really just a basic room but was very clean and management was good pool was clean would stay again and recommend. Has good restaurants mixed with cheap ones very close

Roaches everywhere, ppl knocking at my door at 3am asking me for things that are not common to ask for in the middle of the night. Ppl everywhere outside asked for clean linens two days later I was still waiting had to go ask again… asked not to be disturbed in the day time bc I work overnights cleaning ladies banging on my door… the pool had bugs my kids got sick right after the first && last pool day for us… over all stay not worth the money for the customer service or the rooms 700 a week 🤦🏻‍♀️

08/28/2023: 2 desk workers are very friendly, 1 desk worker very mean and rude and has a "I don't care attitude". Had to go to the front desk to get clean linens and T.P. because the maid passed up my room. I figured it was because my service dog was barking (over protective dog), she "nope" out and pass our room 😂. The motel guests are not good people 😱: alcohol, using and selling drugs, yelling, arguing, and we nearly got run overed by a reckless driver - my service dog was almost hit 😱😭 I had to quickly yank the leash back to get him quickly out of the way. Suppose to drive slow, not floor board it in the parking lot. Friendly employees and all the cute little toads keep me smiling from all this bad. 09/11/2023: the other motel building in the back is where all the drugs, drunks, and sketchy people live. I was walking my dog when I was stalked by a man. I was unaware of this but my service dog, Tippy, knew we were in danger and quickly led me away, when I looked behind me for traffic I saw what he saw - a sketchy looking man following us and stopped following us when we reached the front motel building. Always walk with 2 or more people (buddy system) and have a weapon 🔪 on you for defense. I can't believe this 😱 even after the owner clean house and got rid of the riff raff people, horrible people still live here. 09/15/2023: I used to live in Room 116 for a while until the money ran out and it was a very clean room. Had to check out and live at a gas station for 2 nights. I got a room and it's Room 302. NASTY ROACH INFESTED ROOM WITH NASTY REFRIGERATOR AND MICROWAVE!! I went to the vending room to use that microwave and the inside is covered in green mold. I want to go back to Room 116 because it's cleaner 😔 (and the coffee is closer). 09/16/2023: Went to the front desk to complain about the bugs and no one showed up to clean the microwave so I could heat and eat (I gave up and ate it cold), Mama (The head maid) really wasn't happy about that. She talked to the desk worker, got on the computer, and got us back into Room 116. We've been adopted by her 😊 and 3 other employees, they enjoy us. My pets are much happier in Room 116, they're playful and eating.

Wendys is next door, mcdonalds is across the street. I love the location. The rooms are nice and big with big wall mounted TV. Sliding glass door and a front door is really nice and makes it feel like home. I will definitely stay again!!!

We had a very pleasant stay at the motel. The room was very clean and the staff were very kind and welcoming. Would love to stay here again!

I will give it a zero. The worst experience ever. Ghetto, dirty, couldn’t sleep. People in the hallway all night screaming and crying. Felt like I was in a homeless shelter. Stayed that night and checked out as soon as I woke up. Definitely NOT recommended.

There's a lot to say about the motel 6 specifically the fairgrounds location. My stay here has been most excellent in all the usual ways one could expect on an amazing road trip. But I feel the devil is in the details here, let me explain... Tampa is my final destination on this 'little' road trip & I couldn't have landed in a better spot. Each and every morning I turn up bright-eyed & bushy-tailed in search of that morning brew & find myself greeted with sincere smiles and that commitment to make me feel like I've started my day on the right note. I truly appreciate that. And I know others would too if they gave this modest hotel a chance. I will enjoy this. Maybe one day you'll get the opportunity to experience it. Truly, D. Loxley

This has was one if not the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. The staff was very rude they never changed our sheets to the last day we were there. And they never cleaned the room I will never be returning to a hotel six for the rest of my life.

Very loud neighbors in the halls! I woke up in the middle of the night to an argument outside my door! Dog barking 24/7. The room had a very heavy cigarette smell. Also, we found several roaches in our room! I did not feel safe in the parking lot.... I will say that at least the staff was prompt with answering our inquiries.

This is the nastiest motel I've ever seen. I paid for two nights. We were there for three hours. Turned on the lights, and roaches were everywhere.(Not palmetto) The guy gave me another room. As soon as I turned on the lights two roaches were at the door. The guy told me that he couldn't get a refund at all. I asked to speak to the manager. He gave me one night of payment back. I've called to speak with the manager Howard at least four times. He never returned my call.

I was there for one night. The room was clean and there was a refrigerator for my bottles of water I brought with me bc it's been a super hot summer. I was glad that the WIFI was working bc I had to work on some things. The curtain was kind of hanging off to one side. I tried to fix it, but it kept falling off. I had no problems checking in. One of the posters said they saw some ppl hanging around. I was on the lookout for ppl hanging around the hotel, but I didn’t see anyone. I did see ppl, but they were coming and going in and out of their rooms. I think there are ppl that are currently living there and I assumed it’s due to increases in rent. The hotel was pretty basic if you just need a place to briefly stay and do what you have to do. I had no problems while there and would stay there again.

So the rooms aren’t bad, the pool is green, and has been for days. I paid for my room only to find out when I got to my door they were performing maintenance and I would be hearing grinding and banging for two days straight. I work nights so when I tried to complain the motel 6 customer service told me it’s private owned and they could do nothing on their end, spoke to the desk manager and got the same treatment, nobody knows anything and no one can do anything about it…. Very frustrating definitely avoid

Convenient location when visiting the aquarium. Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable but could use better lighting in bathroom vanity area. Have stayed there before with same pleasant experience and will stay again. Felt daft and comfortable in area and good price for a one night stay when you are just passing through town

We didn’t stay when we pulled up to the building someone was hanging out of a window smoking and looked like people were living week to week in the rooms.The stairway to the room smelled of urine when we reached the second floor to our room the smell of weed was so strong we could not breathe. We attempted to tuff it out but decided we had enough and left.The location was great but that’s all they have going for this place.

My stay at this hotel was horrible. I went this hotel on March 4th thru the 6th 2022. The room they put me in was roach invested. Beds had them refrigerator had them bathroom dirty and had roaches. I asked for refund for first night stay was told to reach out to booking.com, they denied me. I have pictures of this disgusting room hope I can add them to this post to show proof of my stay. I hope all motel 6 aren't like this one. It should be shut down

Management was cordial and helpful, Housekeeping ladies were very helpful and friendly. Rates were fair, I didn't get a blanket right away... Till like the 3rd night I was there.... But the rooms were nice and roomy .... And they allowed my pets no problem, everyone is nice there.

this is a budgeted hotel (that slowly is raising their prices I guess because of inflations) that we use when we travel around the state, it looks like every time we go the worse it gets. we don't mind the loud arguments or banging, the smell of weed through out the hall way or the kids running through the hall way and knocking on the room doors. no all that doesn't bother us, what bother us is when you try to shower and there are bugs crawling out of little cracks and crevices, and having my significant other yelling out of the top of her lungs.

Very basic room, entrance isn't very convenient but doable. Clean with a nice pool. Pool does have handicap lift for getting in and out. Would recommend for budget stays.

It sucked, very bad, never will I go back again. Had blood stains on the sheets and dog prints on them also we had NO dog with us. Staff was horrible told us that it was our fault.

Worst hotel stay I have had In a while kids running up and down hallway banging doors slamming doors throwing things. The bed are hard and itchy. Didnt get a wink of sleep. The only good thing about the place was the room stayed nice and cold. All the doors had to be slammed to shut or they wouldnt close. Probably from the ratched kids on that second floor. Not to mention my dad has a seizure problem sudden nosies trigger him in to a spasm.

Statf was very kind. Rooms are great bad thing is there is a lot of drama and screaming in hallway alot of people hanging around smoking there will be lots of staring at you following you around asking if you want drugs. I had my wife and 4 children with me a group of guys living there were stalking them not a safe ace at all for children.

Would’ve been a decent room if it wasn’t for the roaches and loud people running down the hallways throughout the night. Only thing good about it was the air conditioning and wifi. But hey, you get what you pay for.
