We had two rooms there, for three nights, less than a month ago. The hotel is absolutely disgusting. The walls are banged up and scuffed everywhere. Both our rooms were ugly, dusty, and smelly. Yellowed stinky pillows and less than fresh bedding. The towels are scratchy and do not feel clean and sanitary. The elevators are old, slow, and rickety. Shower curtains in both our rooms coming loose from the walls. One room had an empty tissue dispenser and the other went empty the first day. Horrible, slow TV's--one room had no remote (multiple requests for a new one went unanswered). I don't want to seem like an irrational disgruntled guest leaving a review as damning as I can muster. Just leaving an honest, considerate review here as a service to other travelers--no exaggerated venting whatsoever. We were two adult travelers who were hardly in our rooms while in Tampa, so we got through it. However, I'd hate to bring a family with children or elderly there. The place is broken down, old and miserable, and its ghetto owners/management should be ashamed of themselves.

Check in was great ! I remember a “Gabe” checking us in, I hope that was his name. He was very nice personable, friendly and helpful during check —in. He was also very helpful when trying to get us a more comfortable room. The one star is for the room itself. Not one but TWO muggy, humid bad smelling rooms. Room 502 & 402 were the reason for this review. Unacceptable and should have never been available to guests. It was giving motel not hotel.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Yes, the price may be good. Yes, you have have had good experiences at other properties. DO NOT STAY AT THIS location. I was placed in three different hotel rooms. The first one, the lights didn’t work. The second one, the bed was soiled. I went back downstairs again to get the key for the third attempt and the lobby reeked of marijuana. I decided that it was time to go. No one apologized, the Manager, Jodi, never called me back and now refuses to issue a refund be use she said that I stayed in the hotel room too long before reporting the issue. Excuse me if I didn’t pull back the cover and jump in the bed right away to discover that the bed was soiled. I visited the location in person today because the manager never called me back. Needless to say, the hotel is a direct reflection of her. I’m currently waiting on corporate to call me back to issue a refund. I’ve never been yelled at and walked away from by a General Manager. She NEVER once apologized and refused to offer any solutions.

My first night there I'm greeted with roaches in the room. The room looks exactly like the picture however the furniture is very dirty. Housekeeping didn't come through to clean after I explained to them that there were dead Roaches on the wall. I was assured someone would be out and that never happened throughout the time I was there. When I left the roach was still on the wall. It is not my job to clean dead roaches up. The room was not worthy of the price. Front desk staff was very friendly

The towels & bath mat towel are nasty. There is pubic hair everywhere & the bath towel hasn't even been washed… there’s like a fece stain & a dirty stain on it. The bathtub looks like it hasn’t been cleaned for weeks . There’s food stains everywhere. On the phone & on the door way to the bathroom etc… the pillows smell like they haven’t been washed either. It smells old. The hotel needs work and the maids needs to clean better .

There was black mold throughout the room! I discovered on my second day! Which is the reason for the low star! We decided not to stay another night! Kevin was very friendly! But i spent almost 400 on a room for 2 nights! No refund for this! I have pictures and videos! It would be very nice if i was to receive a refund!

We came from the West Coast to Tampa for my mother in-laws funeral. Walking into the hotel lobby smelled some obnoxious scent of disinfectant and something else. The hotel looked fine online and close to the airport. Our room 338 was filthy, the carpets were dirty, a handprint above the toilet and along the window , the sheets we didn't trust but saw no signs of bed bugs. Lifted the sheets and the mattresses had stains, only two towels for three people. The toilet was leaking leaving yellow stains, the tub was splitting some on the side with black stuff. White particles were falling from the ceiling. My husband asked the night manager for clean sheets and towels and he said they didn't have any. He asked another employee to clean our room and she wrote down full cleaning. We had been at the funeral all day and expected a nice clean room. NOTHING!! So my husband asked for towels at least and finally was given some. They already had our money and no bed bugs thankfully so we stayed. Some of the staff were nice but where is the PRIDE AND INTEGRITY of caring for your paying customers? I don't understand the mindset. NEVER AGAIN! Don't stay here..

The room had spider webs around the ceiling in every room, it smelled like smoke and the sheets under the comforter had lots of hair on them. I was also unable to get towels from the desk due to them running out. The staff was friendly, and the location was good to get to the fairgrounds and Mid Florida Amphitheatre.

The room stunk when we got there and the entire floor smelled like pot smoke. Yet when we left they claimed we were smoking in the room and charged us 250.00! I am a bad asthmatic and have never smoked. There were two housekeepers in the room next to us with the door shut. When we came out of our room they also came out of the room and smelled like cigarettes. I believe this hotel is scamming people. Room and amenities were horrible.

The hotel is not 3 stars! It is an solid 2 star hotel and no more!! Rooms and hallways are bleak. Towels, bedding and bathroom are stained. The shampoo and conditioner have no scent. The breakfast is fair. The staff is good and accommodating to a limit. An example is that I asked for clean replacement towels and I had to bring my dirty towels to the desk before I got a replacement. Really? That didn't sit well with me. Its probably due to crime. I am very surprised that this is a Radisson. Do not expect more as there is no more. Management will probably respond thanks for the feedback and we will try harder etc. I stayed here a year ago and no changes were made. Good sound bite by management but if they don't effect the needed changes, they won't keep repeat customers. Im gone for good!

Was here for a business trip and was supposed to be staying for up to 3 months. The place is absolutely filthy. Checked into my room and quickly noticed bits of trash, toenail clippings in the bathroom, and a musty odor. Thought I might be able to tolerate it; but I was waking up every morning with a splitting headache and after a week I began getting very sick. After inspecting the room more closely I found MOLD growing on the side of the BED! (See pictures) Went to see if I could switch rooms that night but was told I would have to wait until the next day. After switching rooms (still an odor), I continued to get worse. Left for the first available room I could find elsewhere. Horrendous cleaning standards cost them over 12 grand in business. Do not stay here

My daughter left her 21 year old stuffed animal in the bed by mistake. We called the same day we checked out and they blew me off and said well if they find it they will call. I called back the next night and they said it wasn’t found. It was 100% left in the bed. Yes that was our mistake but the communication and customer service could have been better.

Great room for its price. Staff was friendly and very accommodating especially Kansara. Close to everything you need as well.

The rooms are nice except the carpet is pretty nasty. Just have to walk in flip-flops or slippers. The staff is always friendly and does a good job cleaning the rooms (except the carpet)

The room smelled awful, ran out of breakfast and the bed is so uncomfortable. If you book at stay please bring your own comforter. I was really disappointed in my stay.

Needs updates, but the room was clean. Smells nice. No one at Front desk when we got there had to wait for someone to come out.

Booked our hotel room online, and called this hotel to confirm details of a specific room we needed for our stay. We drove over 4 hours to find out that we had a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ROOM than the one we booked online and CALLED to confirm. Never booking with this hotel chain again.

Clean comfortable room. Room was noisy. I could hear the people in the next room thru the headboard. Poor sleeping. Never experienced this before. Poor construction.

My room key and door handle caused me some issues but the front desk staff were very efficient and happy to help. The hotel is starting to see better days but was decent considering my needs. My room was clean but the hallways needed to be vacuumed. That pretty much sums it up. Nice but could be nicer ;)

Room was clean. Hotel was quiet. Pool was clean. Breakfast was okay. All appliances worked 4th floor smelled STRONGLY of pot. Beds we're okay comfort wise. The ice maker had mold or something NASTY floating in the bottom reservoir. TV was kind of splotchy with no service

I am thankful they had a room available because we had to evacuate diring Hurricane Ian. The staff was kind as well. However, I found an open condom rapper next to sheets, a comforter had a huge stain, and was torn on the other side. So if you HAVE stay, bring on bedding . Thank God we always do! Also, the key card didn't work.

Do not stay here!! The people who checked in right before me checked out within minutes of their arrival. Upon getting to my room, there were crusty white stains on a chair in the room and brown, dripping stains on the walls. It was absolutely repulsive. Me and 2 other families checked out minutes within checking in. The staff will not apologize or offer to make things right.

The country inn ? More like the cheese inn. This place, reeks of mildew and mold. Originally booked to stay here for two weeks for work and had to immediately cancel after to the first night. As I woke up with BED BUG BITES. The bathroom’s are in serious need of renovation. It is sad because the staff there is very good and very attentive. They are truly doing the best they can with what is given. The only reason I am giving one star is because the staff was great and helpful. Please, don’t waste your time, money, and health and book somewhere else.

The manager left a new employee in charge at the front desk. After 20 minutes trying get checked in, the employee admitted that he was new and didn’t know what to do to check me in. He said his manager was getting a drink at the gas station. I was willing to wait, but the employee suggested that it might be a while. Ok. No problem. I had an appointment to go to and would check in later, much to the relief of the new employee. I was delayed at my appointment and had my girlfriend come back to the hotel to check us in. I called the hotel, speaking to the new employee, and having spent 20 minutes with him, I was confident he knew I was who I said I was. I told him that my girlfriend was coming back home to check us in with my ID and credit card. I asked if the manager was back,(he was) and I asked that he let him know the situation. He said he would. Of course nothing went right after that. My girlfriend was unnecessarily embarrassed told that they would not check us in because she could have stolen the credit card and ID. I called to get this situation rectified and the manager on duty would not take my call. I was forced to talk to a front desk in employee who was put in the unfair position of covering for the manager. My girlfriend booked a weeks stay next month at this hotel and decided she wanted to cancel. The hotel initially is not willing to cancel the reservation and return her money. We’ve escalated the issue and we will see if they will do the right thing. I’ve never run into a company with such an obvious blind spot. We have booked rooms at this hotel many times. I understand not checking someone into the hotel who wasn’t there in person. But under the circumstances, this was “process” over “person” which is why managers are in place to make judgment calls.

Unfortunately we had to find a hotel due hurricane power outage. Most hotel where fully booked but we thought we got lucky with this hotel having availability. This by far was the worst. The building is obviously very old and not well maintained. There's mold and rust everywhere. The walls where dirty as well. We stay in room for few hours and just went back home with no power. I would not recommend, especially for over $258 bucks!

Bad experience here. My sister and I got to our room late at night after 12+ hours of traveling. We walked in and it smelled like someone just smoked 5 packs of cigarettes in there. Asked the front desk guy if we could switch rooms but there was nothing available. So we were forced to sleep in a grossly smelling hotel room. Manager the next day gave me a 20% refund and moved us rooms the next day. Guess I can’t really complain too much because this is a very cheap hotel.

Can not recommend this hotel. First impressions were bad and it never got better. Hallways and elevator look like they haven't been vacuumed ever. Rooms are run down and beat up. Paint on room door is chipping and pealing. Bed is worn out, sheets are paper thin, ac is loud and shakes. The owners are neglecting this hotel, it needs a major update or why bother.

We have previously stayed in Country Inn and Suites in various locations while travelling. We felt confident booking with this brand. Errror…… Checked in after a transatlantic flight. The room we were given was filthy and a some dirty underwear had been left in the room!!!! After complaining we were up upgraded to a more reasonable room. We were concerned that it appeared that people seemed to be just noisily wandering around the corridors? To be fair we did have a good nights sleep. The breakfast did not compare with our previous experiences which were good. This wasn’t! Overall we are now less confident to use this brand in the future.

I just stayed there. I’m not one to complain but this was unacceptable. There was dirty makeup marked pillows on the bed. There was a dirty pillow behind the chair in the corner. Behind the couch was absolutely sickening with filth. Dirty tissues and old socks under the bed. The bed sheets weren’t even new and had fresh stains as though amber heard was the last guest. I’ve never stayed in a nastier room. The staff was friendly but this was unacceptable. I could have gotten the same standards of clean at a crack hotel

My check-in went very well. I submitted a Tax Exempt certificate and no tax was charged to my State Purchasing Card. The guest room was very bare bones (#517), plus the door was very hard to open with either of the two cards that were issued to me. Staff service was OK, but it did concern me that the ATM on the first floor was out of service during my entire stay. The cleanliness in the room was an issue to the point that I was concerned that the bed might have bed-bugs. On the morning of my departure, I had to come back three times to find someone to check out with, and then I had to shout for someone to come out. The lady that came out made it seem that I was interrupting what she was doing in the back (or wherever she had been. Finally, the choices at breakfast were much fewer than I have experienced at many other hotels I have been at. Overall, the entire hotel and staff seem tired and worn out. The hotel itself could use a face-lift! I will not be back until that happens.

If there were an option for zero stars I would give that to this miserable establishment. Firstly, and a theme throughout this review, the old, haggard, grey haired woman working the customer service desk is a horrible human. She has the worst attitude I’ve seen in the hotel industry. We arrived with our two children (one is disabled) and checked in. The attitude was lackluster at best. We arrived in our cramped, smelly, outdated room to discover that the tub didn’t work. We need a tub for our disabled child and ensured we had a room to accommodate when we made the reservation. We immediately contacted the front desk. They said they’d send the maintenance man up. He arrived and quickly let us know that this was a known issue, there was a leak and the tub water source had to be turned off, nothing he could do. We expressed to him that we needed a new room. He called down to the evil woman at the front desk and she gave him attitude too! We insisted on a new room and kept getting the run around. We called down to the front desk and evil women kept putting us off. Finally after waiting 25 min and getting no help or answers, we walked down to the front desk, left the key and went to the beautiful hotel next door. There were red flags everywhere at this establishment, PLEASE beware! This is not a safe or healthy environment-do NOT book at room here!

I stayed there this pass weekend 9/16, to meet up with an old friend that was coming up from Cape Coral and then to go to the Bucs game on 9/17. It was pouring when I checked in, traffic was horrible, nervous emotions, just a stressful drive up. But I walked in and Sierra was working the front desk. A very sweet, helpful young girl. I can't say enough about her and how she made it an easy and calming check in. She was so bright and smiley, very sympathizing and caring about my situation, totally made everything better just in the 10-15 minutes that we talked! I went on up to the room waiting on the others to arrive and she called up to my room and asked me if everything was okay and okay with the room. That was such an awesome gesture. She was just amazing and I wanted her managers to know how she made everything so at ease! Thank you Sierra! The room was okay. It did smell a bit old and moldy, but it was fine for what we needed and the short time we were there. Wasn't too impressed with the breakfast though, but no biggie. Thanks for the stay!

I honestly have no complaints. We have no complaints..well the only thing that was off but not that big of a deal was the door keys didnt work our whole stay. We tried changing the keys a few times and everything but I think it was just the actual door thing that wasnt working. So one of us always had to be in the room so the other could get in. Me my husband and our 12 year old daughter have stayed here a total of 5 nights I believe. We are still here until Friday. The room is spacious for all three of us and clean. We are in the king bed suite..We haven’t gotten up early enough for the breakfast so I can’t comment on that part but everything else is good. The front staff is always helpful as well. Especially the young girl with short hair. She is really sweet and you Can tell she loves her job..We really like this hotel. It’s in Brandon so In the middle of everything. The 7 eleven across the street is very convenient as well. Bed is really comfortable. The couch/bed isn’t too comfortable but they never are no matter where you are. 5/5 stars.. would for sure stay here again.
