Your hotel is a trap house at best. The Elevators only worked ONE time while I was there. It was for "Routine Maintenance"- there was someone on the 2nd floor who was a stroke victim and couldn't get downstairs and go enjoy her vacation because of it. FIRSTLY WHY would you put someone handicapped on the 2nd floor. on what planet? If the hotel had caught fire- elevators can't be used, period. The room I was in was clean, but the air barely worked and was so loud i had to play music to be able to not focus on it to sleep. The phone to the hotel also were not working and they told us to call the front desk with our cell phones, but no one answers- once again being forced to go down the stairs. I had SO many issues with my keycard to my room. I had probably 10 of them during my stay. I arrived back from a Concert on August 5th and had to go up and down 5 times before I had a key that worked. The gentleman working this morning 8/6 had multiple people complaining to him in which he just stared at us and didn't apologize, nothing. This was by far the worst hotel experience i have ever had. I've stayed at $39 roach motels that were better than this place. Parking is also atrocious it shares a lot with another hotel. You'd think a company with 2 building sharing a space would have the common sense to realize a parking lot that size can't fit even half the vehicles if both hotels were full.

Had 8 rooms reserved for a business golf trip. Book rooms months in advance because our golf resort 2hrs away was full for the night of arrival into Florida. Was on vacation in Florida with family and called hotel 2 weeks prior to cancellation room deadline to cancel room block. Spoke to an associate to cancel the rooms. The associate told me that I needed to speak to a manager to cancel the rooms. I was placed on hold for 20 min. Associate came back and let me know the manager could not speak to me at that current time and to call back. Of course with being on vacation and doing family activities, I forgot to call back. I realize that is on myself but when I realized I was charged for the room block for no showing, the manager I spoke to said they had no Idea why the associate did not cancel the rooms on the first call. There wasn't a need for a manager to cancel the rooms in the first place, all associates are able to do the room cancellations. I am not looking for a full refund, but maybe just something. I have requested on 4 different occasions to speak with a manager at the location through Marriott elite services but have never gotten a call back. I just feel that if the hotel handled my call correctly right away, we would of had this this situation.

We planned a trip for the matriarchs of my family which included my mom, and her sisters. We checked in and one of the rooms had bed bugs and the other had roaches. They moved me to another room and the shower was broken and not draining water while we showered. I requested a refund and was told by Kayla that they rely on their professional pest control to diagnose the problem and based on their findings, they will issue a refund. Needless to say they said that they didn’t find any living roaches but they found dead ones even though I sent videos of the live roaches and members of their staff witnessed the bug activity. I was told that they don’t even rely on their own employees confirmation of the events. Of course I would never go to this hotel again. If I could score this hotel a 0 I would.

I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely hotel for 7 days. God, I wish it wasn't a business trip, so I could really enjoy it. The free complimentary breakfast was great every day. The bed was surprisingly firm but still very comfortable. The room service was excellent. (Not food room service, I mean cleaning.) The mini fridge comes in handy with any leftovers one may have, and lastly, the number of lights/lamps in the room kept the room from feeling like a typical old run of the mill hotel.

This place needs some serious updating. Felt like I went back in time. I wonder is there was flooding or leaking because I asked for 2 different rooms due to a bad humid/mildew type smell in both rooms. The free breakfast was also lacking. The showers were warm and bed was decent. I wouldn't recommend this location unfortunately.

NOT RECOMMENDED! Front staff were very nice. Decent breakfast. ZERO parking either of the nights. Had to park on the street a block away. Shared parking lot with another hotel. Front desk told another guy to park between the handicap spots. Used the coffee maker for hot water and sludge came out from the previous user putting coffee grounds in the wrong spot (which meant it hadn't been cleaned between stays). Elevator was out, we had to carry our luggage up and down three floors. Toilet seat wasn't seated properly so it slipped and clunked every time you sat on it. If it hadn't been so late, we would have checked out and gotten another room. Gave them grace the first night, thought parking was a fluke. It wasn't.

Musty and dirty. My room smells like mold, when you turn on the ac it starts to stink, the curtains have some dirt on them, the elevator has a bunch of dirt and a sausage on the floor, breakfast doesn’t have any vegetables, water in the hallway had some sludge in the tap. 100$ for this?

Stayed on points provided by a relative. Relative asked me the days in if I had charged anything to the room? I had not, but he was being charged a daily incidental fee. Not one free for the entire stay, but varying amounts each day. They were returned over several days, but not until my relative questioned what the charges were for.

Front desk guy was extremely irritated to get up and greet me at 3am on a Saturday night. The lobby was empty. He mumbled something about they already calculated that days' check ins.. I guess checking in at a certain time throws off his job and pisses him off. .

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES STAY HERE. This is the worst hotel I have stayed at in many years. The issues are almost countless. 8 different keycards that didn't work (3 separate trips to replace after they deactivate within 2 hours). Terrible breakfast. Massively noisy AC units that are ineffective. Terrible soundproofing. Flickering lights and poor lighting. TV that did not work at all (nothing but "snow" - no channels)...and was MAYBE 21 inches and 10 years old at best. Terrible neighborhood area with boarded up real estate nearby. When we had to go for the 3rd time to get new keys, I had had enough and told them I wanted to cancel my second night stay of the 2 night plan. They then told me despite all these problems there was NO manager on duty and no way to contact one until tomorrow...on a SATURDAY night - busiest night of the week for them probably. This place is just terrible. So terrible that we and several other soccer families checked out and went somewhere else for our second night stay.

Evacuated from Clearwater for hurricane. The staff and hotel were wonderful. Very helpful and nice. The hotel was extremely clean. They made everyone feel safe. They even continued the hot breakfast. Always had hot coffee and tea as well as citrus flavored ice water. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Tampa

This hotel “smells like ears” as my wife put it. The hotel has a funky smell to it, the room was different but even worse. Definitely an old hotel. No keyless card entry. Find another hotel if possible.

Great customer service..one thing was that I stayed there 2 weeks ago with great price..returning 2 weeks after, prices double! That was very disappointing

First room had an air conditioner with a buzzing noise, the second had a funky old smell. Elevator stopped working mid way through the stay so had to take the stairs. Staff was unapologetic and rude about the whole situation

I booked this location on accident and after realizing that I canceled immediately. I requested a refund through their customer service only to be given the run around. It’s been three weeks and I have yet to be refunded for a room that I didn’t use.

We had booked down the road at a Hilton property but were told upon arrival our two room booking was only one room even though confirmation was for two. Last minute as Hurricane Ian was approaching and under mandatory evacuation we went to Fairfield by Marriott Tampa Brandon location

Read the reviews carefully. I experienced multiple roaches in my room. The hotel rooms reek of a damp smell. The rooms aren't up to date. Does not live up to the Marriott brand standard by any means. With that said, the staff members were overall nice during my stay.

One of the poorer Marriott experiences I've had. Very humid on the 2nd floor. TV remote works poorly The clerk didn't want to swap it. Breakfast waffles haven't been available yet the machines are there but no signs or indications if that is only certain days or a supply issue or? Only a single washer and dryer for the entire building. Mislabeled that dryer is 45 minutes but it runs 60.

It seems like it's the luck of the draw here with rooms, our room was dated as others have stated. The biggest issue was ants! Yes we know Florida has ants, we found most of them in our room. Considering you have a maintenance team on site that someone would have been aware of the issue. Not overly impressed with the breakfast either. I spend 40-80 nights a year in Marriott hotels and this year this was by far the worst out of all of them. Very disappointed and a last minute price increase just because I switched our check in? That was the final insult, an extra $40+, maybe that was the ant fee! Sorry to be cynical but really upset with this stay. There are better options in that area, will never return to this location.

Me and my wife stayed there this past weekend. And the nicest thing. I can tell you about this dirty disgusting hotel. . is that the maintenance man? I think his name was Anthony. The guy does absolutely nothing to fix anything in ouperiod. We asked him to take a look at our AC unit, he looks at it for 2 seconds and tell us there's nothing we can do. And that we can't switch rooms because they're fully booked. So we left. the hotel looks like it's something from Bates motel, oh, the carpets are disgusting. The place smells like pure trash.. I would have given it zero out of five stars if there was such an option...STAY AWAY!!!!!@
