Regular standard rooms do not have a fridge or microwave. They do have some rooms with them but it's a higher charge. The location was wonderful. I loved being so close to Busch Gardens. Everything in the room worked and was clean. The beds were pretty comfortable. The cloth shower curtain needs to be taken down and washed. It was a bit musky. Breakfast was ok. The selection was decent. I wish they had hot selections other than waffles. I especially liked that the desk attendant remembered my name when we were checking out!

Our stay was just ok. The first two nights our room needed some heavy maintenance . The bathroom door didn't close, didn't drain properly and no TV. The staff was good trying to accommodate us in a different room and always in a good mood to help (I give them 5 Star)But just a big note out there. There is no closet so if you are planning to stay for more than two days you will place your clothes somewhere or you will keep it in your suitcase. That was a big deal to me since we were staying for 5 days. As per the hotel definitely needs a better maintenance to improve guest staying. If you are asking me if I will stay here again I will say, it will be only for a night or two tops

For the price, this hotel is great. It's literally across the street from Busch Gardens. The room was very clean and updated. The beds were comfortable and the free breakfast was not bad. Overall we enjoyed the stay. Great prices, great rooms, great service.

We take little staycations quite often! This place is amazing. The room was huge! Everything was clean from the room to the pool to the little arcade! We had a great stay! The only thing I could say is, if a guest leaves something in the room a phone call would be fantastic! I left my blood glucose machine by accident and would have been grateful for a call. I have an extra at home but a heads up would have made my trip that much better!

Basically a drug den for the city. Enhanced security to protect staff from customers. Walked to the elevator and saw the crack fixings and lighter. The druggies hung around the first floor all day, they didn't bother us, but it was not a good impression. Signs saying there was construction, but they were just an excuse to explain the run down state of the public areas. The room was basic and clean and was probably the best part of the hotel. Employees were great. But the hotel itself is circling the drain.

The rooms are nice, or at least, what I got, and for what I can say, the service was cool! The breakfast items are nice. Eggs, waffles, yogurt, and much more, and my only complain were the neighbors. One was making much noise during the late hours of the nights. The pool is nice too! Too bad that the hot tub is gone, overall, nice motel to stay at for a few nights.

The hotel was very good. We were greeted warmly at the front desk and quickly given a room. the room was new after renovation .Clean bed white towels and the bathroom was up to par. In the morning we had a great hot breakfast. We will gladly stay next time in this cozy hotel

Sign-in is at 3 pm est. Sign-out is at 11 am est the next day. Location: convenient. It was close to my meeting location. It's across from an Olive Garden and near a couple of gas stations and restaurants. It is also moments away from Busch Gardens. Parking: plenty of free parking, easy to access. The front of the hotel: the parking area and grounds are spacious. The back is designed more narrowly and has a large bin obstructing the view of a couple of the guest rooms. You can still access them, but it gives the area a crowded feel. They have a vending machine with snacks and drinks available. Other than the large bin and wooden pallet seen in the photo, the grounds are relatively well-kept. The staff makes all the difference. The lady who signed me in is friendly, professional, and helpful. She was also efficient. I was worn out and she got me signed in and set up in no time.

Room conditions were horrible. We booked the king size bed and the room we got had a broken bed, the door doesn’t close to the weather stripping’s, the floors were disgusting. We checked in around 6pm but didn’t get in the room till about 11pm so by the time we realized all the problems it was just too late and we needed to sleep somewhere (if you’d call it that). I’ll give the front desk a big thumbs up because the ladies gave us a new room and was much better. The reason for this 1 star is to let you know to not stay on the 1st floor rooms.

Would not recommend. It felt like a $50 a night motel. We chose it for its proximity to the airport. Unfortunately it was during March break on our flight home so it was extremely overpriced. Shower floor was yellow. Beds/pillows very uncomfortable. Luckily we were only in the room from midnight until 5am. I would not stay here again.

Wow this place is shady. Very dirty, both rooms we had smell like cigarettes and raid. Took my wife and book the holiday Inn down the street and that was the best place to be. This hotel is in a rough area becarful the doors don't lock or the windows. Multiple people had to change rooms due to the condition and they didn't find their room was safe . Never again avoid at all cost

If you like humidity, mosquitos, scalding hot or freezing cold showers this is your place. The smell of smoke, weed & mustiness is a constant, & we even bought air refreshers. There’s not a sense of courtesy here. Loud noises all through the night & day. No quiet hours are enforced. If you want breakfast… you’ll have to fight for a waffle & some fruit loops. If your a woman, be prepared to be cat called/harassed by locals passing through the parking lot. (It was a daily occurrence & the only reason I felt safe was because I had my dog w me) It gets one star because it gave me a roof over my head & allowed pets.

My experience was good overall. The staff was friendly, and extremely helpful. The room was basic but clean. And I really meant clean. I wiped down most of the surfaces myself and no dark streak. We had a deluxe double beds, with fridge and a microwave. The location was convenient. Restaurants nearby, right by the corner of a major road, and only minutes to USF where we had an event to attend. Breakfast was decent. The downside of the inn was not their own faults. There was a police station next to it and be ready for sirens to go off. Fortunately the two nights we stayed there was no sirens in the middle of the night. The soundproofing between rooms weren't great. I could hear muffling sound from next room from time to time and when they banged on the wall, I felt the vibration and as well as the sound. The outside of the buildings looked a bit run down, and there were some questionable tenants made me feel uneasy, but they minded their own business so all was good. And we had a roach in the sink when I woke up one morning. But we're in Florida. Bugs could get inside easily. Overall, I was satisfy with the Inn and will keep this location an option for our future stay as we'll be returning to Tampa annually. Room was awesome. Amenities were basic for an Inn. If not picky, this location would be a good choice.

This is a dump. It is old and dated. The rooms smell like mold and are very tiny. Only some rooms have a refrigerator and microwave. The grounds are extremely dark and there is drug and alcohol use with lots of people hanging out outside. The front desk staff is very nice and professional. They offer a decent breakfast with a variety of items. It is located directly across from Bush Gardens.

Was one of the worst stays. I rented 2 room for 2 nights. Both rooms had no ac room 318 you had to kick the door shut to get it to lock. Had a major gap so all the heat was coming in. Made it very hot since the ac didn’t work. We had to buy fans. When you talked to the office. They said well you have to deal with it. I’m called and asked for sheets to be changed and for new towels. When I got back to the rooms nothing had been done. I called the front office. They brought me towels and sheets and said. Here you go. You change it. Then my son left his phone in the room. I called told them we’re it was and it was left. They said the housekeeper said it wasn’t there. So they stole my sons phone. I am not able to access it due to someone factory reset the phone. When you call customer service for the hotel. The person said he won’t help me bc it was booked through a third party and to bad. This is not acceptable. The fact that the stay was horrible and then someone steals my sons phone. I urge ppl to not stay at this hotel. It’s not worth the 700 I paid. Going to add to this. I have tried to contact the housekeeper manager. But she is either never in or the hotel will not answer when I call with my number. Find it funny I call with a different number and they answer. These people are thieves and do not care about your safety.

We have stayed here multiple times over the years. We have never had a glaring issue, whether for cleanliness nor noise. The staff is always respectful and provide great guest service. It’s close to the park as well as numerous restaurants from fast food to full service. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends if they were in the area. We enjoy our stay and look forward to our next visit to the area.

To make a long story short im going to post new pics cause the photos of this place are old or some lies. The pool is disgusting and dirty literally have a pool light out and floating around. The small water feature is also yellow and filthy. Lobby looks shotty. Bathroom had a weird smell and the hair dyer was broken. Even after a heads up we only also got a room for 4 with only 2 beds no pull out couch or roll out beds. Overall this place looks like the hood and a motel had a baby. Would not recommend.

The room is really modern, although you couldn't tell from the motels overall look from the outside. The cable was good to with loads of good channels. Great value . It's a 15-20 minute walk to Busch Gardens and close to places to eat and shops. Struggled to get a hot shower in the morning though... But that has been my experience in the USA in general.

If you are trying to contact the hotel by message or phone call, no one responds (I attempted to contact them over a 10-hour period of time with no reply). Upon arrival, we were greeted by extra charges that were not mentioned when we booked our stay. The staff were not helpful and not professional. The room was bare minimum. With no toiletries provided except shampoo in the shower. The beds had minimal linens and were terribly uncomfortable. We barely slept as there were multiple instances of other guests yelling and sirens outside all through the night. I would not recommend this hotel for families with children! In the morning, we were told we would have to go outside and then in a separate door for our "free breakfast," which was muffins, cereal, and yogurt. No hot foods at all. Overall, the hotel experience was disappointing, and the total cost ended up being $280. Not worth the money. Will not stay again.

A great value! Deluxe Rooms are clean, modern, with lots of lighting and places to plug a phone charger. Burning Hot showers with complimentary Dove Shampoo. Space is enough room for a family without being excessive & unnecessary. Recent renovated outdoor pool and a generous breakfast is included. On-site coin laundry.

This location was probably very nice 30 years ago. Since then, it has seen countless bad repairs and had eight coats of paint over all of them. There has clearly been an attempt to give the place a facelift, but it is just as clear that it was done at the lowest cost humanly possible and with the care and craftsmanship that you would expect at that price point. Our party of five reserved a "suite" that consists of two adjoining rooms, one with a kitchenette. Our door has to be kicked to get it open and kicked again to get it closed. Even when it is closed and locked, we can see light all around it. The outside sounds come through so clearly that the door might just as well be open. We were in bed for the night, and at about 10 pm what sounded like gunfire caused us to bolt awake. It turned out to be fireworks from the amusement park that went on for about 15 minutes and sounded like the show was going on in the hotel parking lot. Our room was 61 degrees (f) and the heater blew cold air all night. Needless to say, we were freezing and didn't get much sleep. We left the heater on in the hopes that it would do SOME good, but all it did was make a horrible racket. Cold and noisy- that was our night at La Quinta. Doors that don't close, door knobs that are falling apart, towel rack coming out of the wall... Just sad. Breakfast was nice. Doesn't make up for the rest though.

No hot tub breakfast starts at 7:00 not great for people in Tampa for business. There's another La Quinta on West Waters that's way better. Friendly service from the front desk. Price is based on location location location.

Went for a weekend trip to Busch Gardens. Our room looked recently remodeled and relatively clean. Had a microwave, mini fridge, and plenty of towels. A.C. worked great. Only complaint was under the beds it was clearly very messy. All the employees were professional and friendly. Check-in was on time. There was some renovation occurring while we were there but nothing crazy. The area itself seemed slightly questionable. We walked to and from the park (about 25 minutes each way) and I wouldn't recommend that, especially at night. Driving there wouldn't be a problem.

Super cute hotel it's literally right behind Bucsh Gardens if you could jump the fence you would be there! The rooms were great love the suite with the adjoined rooms it was perfect for us the service was great and the breakfast was good the arcade could be a bit better but the kids still had fun! I would definitely go back

GM of this location offended me. The staff was wonderful. I'm in business management as a career, the mid day manager is amazing. She deserves his job and has great personable skills. He told me, "I told you he's not good people." I'm a legitimate businessman, I come from a privileged household and they do help from time to time if I need it. I called my father and he was more than willing to help, it would have been fine but this did not be brought to my attention until 10:30 in the evening. They had all day to come up to my room and ask me to get another form of payment. The manager that morning, screwed up immediately and I paid for her mistakes over $60 than I was quoted. The hotel is going to look amazing after the renovations. Again, I would suggest this place for anyone. But I can't do so because of the general manager and the way he treats me, along with his employees. I understand now why everyone looks so miserable working here

Is located in a great area for the conditions is in. Sad to say. I don’t even know how I feel about this place tbh. The rooms were rushed-cleaned.. you can tell. The pool was cloudy. And let’s not even start with the lady at the break fast room following people around telling people that just wanted to have breakfast “don’t do this.. don’t touch that.. that’s not how you do it” people seemed so annoyed by her. Like, let people eat in peace! I would not be coming back to this place. & please consider picking up the trash around the facility. This place is a NO NO NO for me.

My room is so HUMID that my sheets are moist. It feels so disgusting. Theres a gap to the front door - this IS A HOTEL / MOTEL THAT YOUR DOOR LEADS OUTSIDE - so i think this is why the ouside humidity seeps in / I would have not booked had I known. The rooms are renovated - thats nice ish. The bathroom sink is out of the bathroom - interestingly weird. Close to Busch Gardens - but not worth the money AT ALL.

Housekeeping are constantly on their jobs the manager does a great job over housekeeping that shows how the actual property manager is certainly on top of his job. Amazing breakfast. Great place to visit therms spa pool to die for. Great place to have a family reunion

This is a great example of why you should check your room out before bringing your luggage up. Room itself was just OK, minus some unattractive damage to the main table top, minus a missing security latch, and the only structure to the bottom 25% of the door was the external panels, you could actually push the bottom part of the door 2-3 inches into the room. Enough of a gap to stick your hand in. Ice machine wasn't on our little map they gave us of the "hotel" nor was it on any of the placards in the hallways telling us where ice and vending machines might be. The hotel lobby was very nice and the pool area was clean enough if not in need of a little face-lift.

First the rooms have been remodeled, however there are quite a lot of ceiling sparkle missing. It looked kinda unclean and needing repair in spots. Front door was dented in and the card scan seemed to only work half the time and took continuous tries. The bed felt okay but was very squeaky and I woke my girlfriend a few times because of it. The TV volume is set to only go to 40 and with the AC running seemed to get drowned out. The room telephone did not work. The Ice Machine I was able to find didn’t work. It wasn’t a disgusting room, smelled fine, if so stayed here again at most I’d pay maybe $80. However it’s unlikely I would ever come here again.

  • 1/5 Rosa R. 5 months ago on Google
The room itself was not bad. However, housekeeping needs to do better. Our bathroom was full of hair. Seemed that the previous guest shaved and there were a thousand and one small hair's near the sink, I'm not sure if housekeeping did indeed clean the bathroom. How can they have missed all that hair. Then again, the tub also had hair. It was gross, I cleaned the entire bathroom in order to be sure it was clean for me and my partner to use. The carpet inside the room was not very clean either. The breakfast was not the best either. They can definitely do better with the variety and selection. I did notice the first floor seemed remodeled, but definitely not the 3rd floor. The hallway rug was dingy and dirty as well as the rug in the room. Also, at one point, I was locked out of the hotel, and the housekeeper was cleaning on the other side of the door. She literally just looked at me until finally the key decided to work. Instead of helping me by opening the door on the other side. I'm not sure who the GM at this location is, but they have some training to do. Housekeeping needs to try harder.

The conditions of this property are horrible. The locks don’t work on the doors. I got locked out of the building twice and had to walk all the way around to get in there were stains on my sheets and blankets stains on the floors the air conditioner did not work correctly. I asked for a refund, I still have not received one

I was so excited to get here for a nice experience but this place is a dump. Unless you have the DELUXE PACKAGE, your room doesn’t even come with a mini fridge or microwave. The location is nice if you’re going to Busch gardens (15 min walk), but other than that, stay away. breakfast is served 7-10am and your only options are little muffins, cereal, or a waffle. There are so many better hotels you can stay at, tread lightly when looking to book here. this place is worth about $40/night

Awful. I made reservations and asked, and was specifically told, that the suite contained a separate bedroom. My confirmation stated this was a one bedroom suite with a pull out couch that was in the living area. Upon arrival this was not the case. It was a room with a king size bed and couch. I called the front desk and was told nothing could be done that they did not have suites. I asked for two separate rooms for the same price I was paying and the front desk called the owner ( Rohan) and was told he would not do anything to remedy the error on La Quinta’s part. I asked to have him call me directly and the front desk said he would not speak with me. Bait and switch at it’s finest. Offer one thing and only able to provide something different. The hotel itself appeared from the outside to be updated; however, it was actually only a paint job to the front of the building. The rest was not updated. I took pictures (including a screen shot of the confirmation showing the separate bedroom) but do not see an option to load them on google. I will put them on my trip advisor review. In short, this place is a dump with zero effort on upkeep with the exception of the flooring in the rooms which was updated to vinyl. There is trash in the elevators, as well as on the roof (our room had a view of the lobby roof). Breakfast consisted of carbs primarily, nothing hot. The hotel smells like smoke. There are stains and cuts on the furniture. The pool area is not maintained and there was debris in the pool. There was no cover on the electrical outlet, plugs were exposed. Again, I have photos of all of this and will put on trip advisor. It speaks volumes that the owner would not speak with customers. Disgusting place with terrible customer service.

Saturday night is not a good night to stay at the hotel. There is a club nearby that plays a loud base until about 3 or 4 in the morning. You won't sleep. I left a day early because I couldn't get any rest. This is clearly not the hotel's fault, but it made it impossible to enjoy the room. The morning breakfast was nice, but they have a breakfast room monitor that is overbearing and will tell you in no uncertain terms what you need to do and how and when you need to do it. Very rude. I stayed at the hotel because I thought it was fairly close to Busch Gardens, but I discovered that the way the entrance to the park is set up, it is actually more than 1/2 a mile away. Overall, I would not stay there again.

Booked room through outside vendor. I walked in the room to an overwhelming smell of bleach. I like bleach, but my eyes wouldn’t stop watering and I had a hard time breathing. Got up at 6am to use the bathroom. I turned on the lights to roaches scurrying across the floor. I was able to kill 2 but there were many more. My daughter got up a while later and same thing. Killed 2 more. Went to brush my hair…large roach in my hair brush next to my suitcase on the desk! Went down to complain as we were supposed to be staying 2 more nights and had prepaid. They did refund me for the additional nights. I couldn’t get out fast enough!

Do not stay here. Location is good and staff was nice but the room was disgusting the door wouldn’t shut properly I didn’t feel safe. Could hear next doors conversation because there was a connecting door. There was bed bugs, hair in the bed and brown stains on the pillows

  • 2/5 April W. 2 years ago on Google
So this is a very old hotel I was willing to stay a night but we got in our room that night from coming from the fair we kill one roach then two then the third one I videoed to take down to the front desk they were not very accommodating and there was nothing they can do and they can take $25 off for the night that's $25 off a 267 dollars I would think a room for 260 dollars a night will be in a better condition so if you like bugs then you're okay to stay there but this hotel needs work and better customer service. We ended up switching rooms with a young lady that needed a double bed. She was down stairs upset because she reserved double beds in her room but they had none available. I gave a 2 star because the 2nd room was better.

After a neighboring hotel over booked and canceled our reservation, traveling with 5 kids looked like we were headed back home. We didn’t want to let our kids down so we found accommodations at this property within our budget. From the time of arrival the staff were efficient and pleasant. Breakfast room great very clean and attendant kept items stocked well, saved us on stopping for breakfast. At checkout Yvette at the front desk was pleasant and her politeness will be the reason we come back here when visiting Bush Gardens. Thank you LaQuinta you guys rock💪🏽

This place likes to charge a lot of money for deposit. They took unauthorized 600 dollars from my account and took days to see the money refunded to my account. Avoid to go there!

For $100 a night ( on a reg Tue) the room had no mini fridge or microwave, no shampoo or conditioner and worst pillows I’ve ever slept on in my life. Instead of getting an led mirror I would upgrade the pillows first, just an idea lol The rooms are nice and renovated. Unfortunately they come with two double beds not standard queen beds like most hotel rooms. The best part about it was how close it was to Bush Gardens.

I was very impressed for an older hotel. The room was clean and the front desk staff were very nice and accommodating. No issues. I would stay there again if I needed to evacuate the path of a hurricane!

The room was very clean and spacious. The hotel lobby is nice too (I waited for a Lyft ride there). The staff is friendly and check-in and out were very efficient. However, we were directly across the street from Busch Gardens and we could hear the roller coaster. The road out front was a little bit noisy too. If I stay there again I’ll ask for a room farther away from the road. We stayed on the first floor which was very convenient (note: I don’t think they have an elevator) but the sidewalk and parking lot in front of our room was noisy too (lots of families with young children, presumably visiting Busch Gardens). If you enjoy quiet it’s probably best to stay on an upper floor, unless you have a lot of heavy stuff to unload to your room (we did).

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times before and can say this stay was not like the others. For the good: Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. You can tell the rooms had been recently updated with new floors, sinks, and furniture. As many have mentioned, this hotel is a short distance from Busch Gardens. For the bad: Breakfast was on the skimpy side. All that was available was waffles (one waffle maker), boiled eggs, cereal, pudding, and toast. The water pressure in the shower was extremely low. The water also took an extremely long time to warm up.

Do NOT a stay here. It’s NOT clean. Killed 2 roaches. They live behind the TV. And the ceiling it’s soooo dusty. The Parking lot it’s dirty. This place needs a makeover and Deep cleaning! Stay somewhere else. For real.

Hotel room and breakfast made me feel like my $115 room per night was overpriced. Room had small double beds instead of standard queen mattress. Very small room had no closets but the floor and desk with TV cabinet was in good condition. Bathroom was extremely small (5' x 5') bathtub drain stopper was disabled to prevent people from taking baths to save on water costs. Shower head had low pressure in either of the two settings to save water and was too low to fit my head under without bending my knees. I think the shower water was connected to a underpowered instant tankless water heater since my hot shower water would get hot then cold frequently without me adjusting the temperature. Sink water had low pressure as well, but I was on the 3rd floor. Only gave us 2 small pieces of soap, 3 towels, an ice bucket, and the room phone didn't work. Breakfast had a toaster that only one side of the bread was getting toasted since the other side was broken (checked the temperature settings on top and bottom elements and they were the same). I ran my bagel through the toaster conveyor 6 times before realizing the bottom element was burned out. No cream cheese, no fruit, one of the waffle makers was broken but. didn't have a sign to let you know. Room did have a 4 cu ft refrigerator and very small microwave. I just felt like I overpaid for such a small room that made me a little uncomfortable to use the shower. I was happy my small room felt clean and the breakfast was free.

No hot showers... no shampoo or conditioner. No microwave or mini fridge. A/C hardly worked and had to pull door shut because it doesn't by itself, as it should. Otherwise it's ok. New paint job though. Was in room 213

The room was really nice. WiFi wasn't great though. The only problem I had during my stay was with my neighbors. My room was at the end of the hall and had an enclosed stairwell with no airflow. My neighbors decided to smoke pot outside and it gave me a panic attack as the smell filled my room and I couldn't get it out. Front desk wouldn't do anything about it other than saying "the front desk manager isn't on the property right now, but she'll stop them if she catches them". Which is entirely unhelpful, but it's whatever at this point. Breakfast is very slim pickings (cereal, yogurt, waffle maker, whole fruit, bran muffins(?)) But is nice to have the option. The location is very nice though being less than a block from the Busch gardens entrance and very close to fast food (McDonald's and Dunkin), restaurants, and gas stations. Make sure you bring your own water if you don't like salty beach water.

If you are visiting Busch Gardens and need a very close stay, this is it. It is right outside the park. You can see rides from the room. I leave very fair reviews. This place is definitely dated. Needs a makeover for sure. When I look for a place to stay it's for location and safety for me and my family. I did sleep with my gun on a chair beside the bed. Seems a little sketchy for me. Even though it is right near the police station there was some late night activity. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and overall it was pretty clean in the rooms.

Soso, the room was very humid. The ac is very nosy , there is no room service or cleaning unless you call them yourself. Bathroom soak Alittle water, bed is comfortable but the scream and shouting next to the theme park is not so good, lucky it only happens in the morning. I would recommend if you only wanting to stay 1-2 nights

I can’t believe this place has a 7 stars rating on the Booking.com website. Lobby staff and house keeping were very kind, however; this hotel is very run down and it needs some serious remodeling. Inside the room the carpet was stained in lots of places and very dirty, I wouldn't even walk inside the room without my shoes off and my 7yr old would walk around in sox and they would become black, it was disgusting. Bathroom doors, walls, caulking even the shower drape needed to be redone. Wall lamps were stained, pillows were smelly and yellow and hallway was always smelling of humidity and most of the time marijuana smoking. I stayed because of the cancellation policy forced us, furthermore; I will not stay in La Quinta again. In the past I had better experiences in other locations but this one was so terrible that it will make us abstain from any place with this name. I paid $230 for night and I truly believe I got stolen of my money.

The room was clean, close to busch gardens, the staff where nice and pool was kept up. This place checked all our boxes. Just be advised the beds and pillows are very firm. Also, they only give a small bar of dove soap so bring your own shampoo etc...

I can't say enough good things about the LA Quinta! The employees are fantastic, including GAB who found my watch after I checked out!!! The rooms are well appointed and it is clean, clean, clean! GAB went above and beyond to make sure my watch, which inleft behind, was held for me so I could come back and get it. I certainly won't go anywhere else!!!

The hotel was in a nice location, no issues. You could tell the hotel was updated recently but the service and cleanliness of the actual room wasn’t great. The room was small and definitely didn’t accommodate 5 guests like stated, the beds were small & uncomfortable and the floors were disgusting. Housekeeping should come everyday instead of just when guests leave. We also had a hard time getting actual towels and wash rags. The first night we only had 2 of everything and we had 5 guests, the second night we weren’t able to get any wash rags and only 3 towels, the 3rd night we were able to get 4 wash rags, 5 towels and a hand towel(We had to go to the front multiple times just to get towels and wash rags). The employees stated they could only give what they had but if housekeeping was making rounds to every room every day then there would be plenty of linens for everyone. The floors have probably never been mopped, we wore socks around the room because of how dirty the floors were. Edit to add: The AC is very loud and the breakfast is limited, the waffles were great but the other pastries were not. Also the non caring reply on my review speaks volumes on the management of this hotel.

Easy check-in, room was clean, pool was clean and good location for us visiting family in University Park area. Breakfast was okay but could have had some hot items added.

The location would of been great. But it will take a 30 min walk bc all entrances are blocked off now. The hotel itself is being remodeled. Lots of things being done. All was are extremely hot.

Our stay was fine. The lobby was completely destroyed. No big deal really didn't need the lobby except check in and out. The rooms were attempted to be remodeled but it was just covering the flaws not actually redone. Beds were hard, AC set at 60 but barley cooled the room, toilet broken, no Shampoo or Conditioner, ACs leaking tons of water outside (yes this can be normal but not like these ACs were doing), TV wouldn't go to the channels I told it to go to. The elevators are sooo hot no AC in them. Breakfast was just cereal, waffles, and bagels/toast. Location is prefect for a Busch Gardens trip though.

The renovated rooms are super clean and spacious. They provide daily housekeeping under request with clean towels and amenities. Breakfast is simple but good. Location is perfect for those planning to visit Busch Gardens. The biggest highlight was service in reception, they were super nice and friendly and did everything to acommodate our requests.

I really can’t speak to service. Checkin staff were great. Room was very nice. We did adjoining rooms (book a two bedroom). This beds were comfortable and we were basically across from Busch Gardens. The elevator was definitely used. A bit of paint outside in walk areas would make a huge difference. Very safe area. Some reviewers made me weary but it is a good area. Lots of places to eat nearby. Great value.

For rooms that were $165 u would expect more. No coffee pot or fridge in the room but they had an iron..really. not enough parking places for everyone in a room to have a spot. Ice machine out of order. Best part of this was it wasn't far from the stadium

Clean hotel near the amusement park. Pool, breakfast, game room and laundry are included. Unfortunately the gym is not available but you can still workout in your room or at a local gym. Everything is well stocked and housekeeping is available on request. We are enjoying our stay.

I had an event to attend and was in Tampa from NY. The event did not begin until 4pm. I asked “Yvette” at the front desk if we could have a later check out with every intention on returning after midnight for our remaining 3 nights. Yvette rudely stated that she could not because they were super busy and completely sold out, which was a lie! I observed several empty rooms and was given the option to “extend” my stay on the Hotels website. Instead we booked a local air B&B in the downtown Tampa area which was a bit more pricey but DEFINITELY worth not having to deal with rude staff.

In all honesty, I wish I had chosen anywhere else. We tried canceling a night due to some changes and that ended up a mess. We were told by the manager that we could do it downstairs since we were already checked in. Then downstairs, we were told to wait for the manager. Also, there was bugs in one room, and mold on the curtains. And why do all the doors have rugged bottoms. I would not recommend this hotel as it was extremely gross and creepy.

I'm staying in a room that may be clean but the door doesn't shut all the way. It's so very sketchy and I'm a female by myself and don't feel safe I had to barrocade the door with 2 chairs. Your front desk didn't seem to have a room ready for an early check in that I requested and paid for and she gave me this room it seems it was the only one that was cleaned. I took it since I've been traveling since 2am . I took a shower and left . While I was out I received a text about house keeping. And how to tip them. There was no reason why I would need house keeping but they entered my room while I was gone not sure why. Since supposedly they cleaned it. If I knew this was a motel and not a hotel I would of booked somewhere else. Very disappointed.
